Hi folks : )I'm trying to put a link in an automated email, and it keeps generating a sequence of characters at the end of the url that makes the link useless. Here's how I have it set up in the body of the email:Here's what the end of the url is supposed to look like:230526796288065/sign_document_d4deb6cd5dd95877_79e90063180a7cbf.pdfAnd here's what it looks like when the automation is done with it:This happens whether I set up the field as a URL or single line text, and the link opens fine from the data view; these extra characters only show up in the link generated by the automation email.Since the characters look like html encoding, I looked them up and found this, if it helps:

Is anyone else constantly interrupted by 'Reconnecting' and/or 'Saving Changes' messages? This happens on some of my least complex bases with a tiny amount of data in them. It is extremely frustrating, constantly breaks my focus, and causes my work to take longer than it should. This has been brought up to Airtable many times, but it continues to linger, so I figured I would post here and see if others are facing similar issues. 

I get this notification every 3-5 seconds: “Trying to reconnect… please check your internet connection” The connection is stable. Other apps work well.

Hi there! We are trying to move our corporate budget tracking to Airtable. As an example, say we have $400 to spend, the sum of the rate would need to be subtracted from $400 ongoingly. Do you have any ideas on how to best do this without manually subtracting the sum from $400 every time?

 Hello,I built a robust CRM Base with interfaces for all the field reps in my company - everyone is using the Airtable app on their Iphones.Everything works great other than the fact that pretty much 99% of the time you cannot simply open the app and access the interface and begin editing accounts, referrals, visit logs etc. When someone opens the app, the record is un-editable, and you need to force close / re open the app to be able to start editing whatever it was you wanted to do.There isn't even a "swipe up refresh" function that many apps have - that I thought might be help.Any advice on how to mitigate this? It is super annoying for everyone.

Hi all!My team and I are using Airtable to store user research as we build out and iterate on different products within our org. One of our goals is creating a repository to reference research participants we've spoken with in the past to contact them more easily for future research. The goal of this base is two-fold: the first being a structured pool of participants to pull from, and the second is a collision map to make sure we're not pulling the same participant for several different projects and overloading them. Hi,I have a project management interface where I have a table listing all of my projects and then another table for tasks.  On the task table, there is a link to the project table.  I have created an interface using kanban that shows the tasks by priority (high, medium, low).  In the interface, I allow the linking of the task to the project table.  When I click the plus signal, it only shows me the first three fields from the project table.  Is there a way to modify what fields show on the "linking" screen that pops up?Thanks,Kevin

I store price data in a Products table, and link to it in an InvoiceLines table (Many InvoiceLines from One Product). However, when a price changes (is updated) in Products the original price of that item should not change in those records in InvoiceLines that have already been created. Given the Lookup type doesn’t offer it, can you think of a way to achieve this? At the moment the only way I can think of, is to export data from one table and import to another?

My phone number field has rows with different formatting. e.g. 12824673737 and (510) 890-9699 How can I force all the phone numbers to be of one format: namely, a 10 digit number without any punctuation in between

I have a table (Table #1) in which we keep upcoming events, along with their dates, topic, marketing content etc. I created a mirror table (Table #2) with the same fields. Table #2 has a form our staff uses when they need to update any of the events that are in Table #1 (existing records). I created an automation that when a form is submitted in table #2, it finds the records in table #1 that match the name of the program and then updates the existing record.Here's where I am stuck and wondering if there are solutions:1) Finding the records: My conditions are the name of the program and the date, but the issue is with the date. I'd like Airtable to only find it if it's the exact date in both tables and not a range of dates. What do I do to solve this problem? I’ve been trying to join in with my new colleagues but can’t accept their invitations. I get this message over and over with no instructions on why it’s happening or what to do next. When I type the Airtable message into the Airtable support searchbar I get over a hundred hits but none of them tell me how to fix the problem. When I go to Google for help the search engine autofills my question right away, which tells me that lots of people are having this problem. I wonder why Airtable does not help people in this situation, but I really need to know what to do next.

Our team has fallen deep into the airtable ocean! We love them and so do our clients...That said, we now have so many bases, tables, interfaces, etc. that it's getting difficult to remember where things are or who created what.I'm hoping that something already exists that will easily allow me to take and catalog all the various workspaces, bases, etc. easily without needing me to go into each one to create a new table(s) that have this information in it.If no extension or tool exists, perhaps someone could share a table structure they already use to maintain order in their chaos? I need to set up something quickly!

I am the owner on a team account. I have 2 creators and 7 editors. The 7 editors are not on the entire workspace, but rather on the bases I want them to have access to. I have one base I'd like to create, but I don't want my other two creators to have access to it (sensitive budget information). But I can't find a way to do that without taking away their creator status and I want them to keep that- they've been instrumental in building bases and will continue to do that.

We are now transitioning from Slack to Microsoft Teams and would like to know if the same functionality is supported in Teams. I am having trouble understanding the WORKDAY_DIFF and DATETIME_DIFF. Primarily I need it to return hours and minutes within 5 working days. Not just whole days with the WORKDAY_DIFF and not just total hours and minutes including weekends with DATETIME_DIFF. Example: Start a project at 4:25 pm Friday and finish at 9:40 am Monday, I would like my Turn Around column to say 2 hours and 15 minutes (2:15). I do not need it to round up to the nearest whole hour. I would appreciate any help you can give.

I need the dollar amounts on our automated emails to be automatically rounded to the nearest cent. The automated email is pulling these figures from fields in airtable that have formulas associated already, and they are set to round to the nearest cent/hundredth, however when they come through on the automated email suddenly they include an extra place value "thousandth," and do not provide thousands comma markers or dollar signs. I do not know how to combine a ROUND formula on top of the formulas that are already on the fields. Can someone help? 

I have a board for projects and one for tasks. Team members are pretty good about entering their project due dates on the project board, but we need to have due dates on the tasks as well. Id like the task due date to default to the project due date, with the ability for override. Ive created a lookup field on my tasks board to find the project due date (default date), but often the tasks need to be done before the project is due so i would like it if the field could be manually overwritten. I was thinking if i created another column in my task table with a formula that allowed team members to overwrite the lookup field this could work. It would say something like {lookup date} OR manual overrride.Is there a way to create something like this?

The automation looks for records in the Task Templates table under the Podcast View and duplicates those records in the Tasks table.The automation is creating extra records in the task table and I can't figure out why. There is no pattern to the extra records created. In our base, there are about 10 people from 4 different departments. They are all editors, and we're on the business tier. We've started to build quite a lot of interfaces, and it's starting to get a little crowded. I wonder if it's possible to only have certain people able to see and access certain interfaces?The documentation alludes to the possibility of sharing the interface. However, I can't get it to work, as anyone seems to be able to see and access all the build and published interfaces with or without sharing. Is it possible to restrict access to certain interfaces if they are base collaborators? if so how do I do it?

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?My left side axis (first y-axis) uses a formula percent field. But I want the second y-axis (Y-axis (right)) to just be standard numbers in order to show the COUNT. The percents showing up don't make sense there. Is there a way for me to fix something I'm doing?
