I have many different bases which will have a table that has attachments, and then linked records to other tables within the base which then lookup the original attachments. As of yesterday and all days prior, I could open the attachment in the lookup field in the linked table directly. As of today, I can still see the preview for the attachment being looked up, but when clicking on it the cell goes blank and it won't open. My attachments are mostly PDFs but I'm seeing the same "won't load a looked up attachment" in other bases with photos and word docs as the attachment as well. Looks like it is an issue in the web interface and desktop app, possibly not in the mobile app (android) though.

My record is an account with multiple individuals and I need a way to use SendGrid to send an email to multiple recipients on that account. I’ve tried using a long form with "email1@email.com; email2@email.com;" as the Email Address Field, but it only sends to the first email. However, the email that is received does show multiple recipients in the “to” field. Is there a way around this, or is Airtable just not parsing the subsequent emails. I looked at the SendGrid API and it looks like you need to compose your JSON API call with multiple “to” recipients and so I’m assuming that SendGrid is also only parsing the first email for actual sending. Really really important for us.

Hello, I need to figure out how to display multiple select options in a cell that is contingent upon another cell. I’m making a list of corporate goals, then under corporate goals I have department goals. I want my cell to display only goals that I choose from within the department goal category. I have one column for Strategic Goals, another column for Department, and another column that I want to use to display Departmental Goals. I want to be able to search within the Department to select the goals I want displayed within the cell without it showing me every department goal. Is this doable? Please help asap! Thank you.

Hi Airtablers! I have started a self-study to record day to day activities in my home-based caregiving initiative - taking care of my 91 year old Mom. I am using the default time setting in Airtable - 1/2 hour increments - is there a way to set it to 1/4 hour increments - ie. every 15 minutes instead of every 30 minutes? Thanks!

In my base I want to have live coin price, so I can track movement from current price and the price at which I initially invested. There are few websites that support API, but I am not sure how to use it and if that can be done. Is that possible to achieve, if yes can you please help me do it? Also, I am on Pro plan on Airtable. I want to use different colours for column headers to differentiate between those that must be changed manually and those that will automatically be updated from automation when certain conditions are met. Is this possible?

Hello,I'm looking for a solution that would allow me to build a front-end for my Airtable bases. I've already tried several solutions but I still have the same problem: I have a lot of buttons that trigger scripts (scripting blocks).I may have missed some features or solutions that offer this, but today if I have to migrate my scripting blocks to automation (to go through Interfaces) it will take me a lot of time. Solutions like Softr and others don't seem to allow this either.If you have a way of doing this without too many complications, I'll take it, otherwise I'll roll up my sleeves 🙂Thanks in advanceKevin

I have looked at a few of the prefix scripts but cannot find one that fits the bill for us.When a new record is created, our Ref field is manually inputted as:ABC2025-01 (Enquiry identifier - always the same 3 letters, Current Year, sequential number)Occasionally, the Ref field is filled with a subnumber, usually if a project gets split into phases. This is always manually inputted, so in theory the last project could end up being ABC2025-125-01.All we are looking for (hopefully) is once a new record is made, the Ref field is automatically filled with ABC2025-02, next record ABC2025-03 etcAny help appreciated  

We have an Airtable form to submit internal orders, and it would be very helpful for our team to have a field that shows the last record number before filling in a new order. Not to create the order number – we have autonumbers set up – this is because they have to add the current PO to one of the files that gets submitted in the form itself. Right now they’re going and checking the latest order number in the normal Airtable view before submitting the form, but if they can cut that step out it would be helpful! Is there any way to add in a view-only or read-only field? I looked at trying to integrate the interfaces with forms too and that didn’t quite get what I was going for. Thank you!

When we embed forms on our site, we write the title and description on the page for brand consistency across pages. I do not need the form title to be repeated in the embed portion. AT adds the form title by default in any shared view and there seems no way to delete it. Is there a work around?

Hi everyone! Newbie here still getting my head around Airtable. I am creating a form with 14 questions. The answer to each questions is a scale from 1-5, 1 being none of the time 5 being all of the time. When the form is complete I would like to be able to total the 14 answers for each respondent (so if someone answered 1 for each answer their total would be 14). How do I do this?! Many thanks

I am using record templates to create deliverables and tasks. I am setting due dates relative to the "current date".  For example, I want the deliverable to be due "1 day after current date". When the template runs, it adds 3 days to the current date. If the current date is 6/30/23, it will put the due date as 7/3/23 rather than 7/1/23. If I use current date alone, it puts in today's date. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to prevent it? 

Hey all.I have tasks that are laid out and currently in one table - Milestones.  I have another table with Event names.The idea is each Event will have all the tasks in the Milestones/task listing table.  SO that when I group by each Event, the tasks can be worked on for THAT event, they're the same tasks, but need to be linked to each Event separately.  Does that make sense.I created a third table as a sort of junction table and created two linked fields, one for the Event and the Other for the Milestone/task listing.  The above table is the "junction table".  Did I need to do it this way?  Or just I've just added the task linked table in the FS Listings?Any ideas? 

I'm having trouble at a couple of points, and there may be multiple ways to fix this. Firstly, I need this automation to happen once a week. Let's say I pick Thursday - I need it to run this automation on all records on a particular table that have the date as 8 and 9 days away. But I can't find how to make it a weekly repeating automation. Then, lets say that there are 6 records that fall on those dates. If I have that data sent to a google sheet, it puts all 6 rows from AT into just 1 row on GS. Is there no way to have it go to multiple rows? I have tried using a workaround of sending it to a Google Doc as a grid instead - but is there anyway to manipulate what order the columns are in? It looks like I can just select them or not, but the order I use them in for this purpose is different than the order we need them in for AT purposes. 

I have two tables Properties list and Budget. In the Properties table, I have a user field that we can assign the property manager to that particular property and that manager is only able to view and edit the Budget(budget table) details belonging to the property.But in budget table has many records of multiple properties detail. But that particular property manager should be able to view and edit Budget details belonging to that property. The rest of the details can be visible or hidden but should not be editable.Is that possible?

Hi,I have a situation where a public user would need to fill out a form, be able to view ONLY that record with their responses (with additional dependent fields displayed), and then print that record in a nice-looking format.  I've explored other integrations, the public interface option, etc. but I can't find something that would work for the entire process.  Does anyone have any suggestions? 

Hello all,I'm wondering if it's possible to indicate certain records in a table as read-only. The idea is that once these records have been validated they should not be modifiable (except perhaps through a special procedure). It's for accountancy records that have been transferred to an external database and so should no longer be modifiable.Any tips or tricks anyone to achieve this?Thanks,Mark

When creating a Form view, it would be helpful to be able to specify a “Read Only” view for a specific field. I am using linked records to display data from other tables but in some cases, only want to display the pertinent data, with no ability to modify it, or to add a new record. Not seeing that this is possible at the moment.

Hiya!I'm trying to create a registration form to send out to external users, but want them to be able to see the remaining capacity of each event, to know if they can register for the event. I tried to do this via a lookup field and as a read only field to find that Lookup fields aren't supported in Forms and Read Only fields won't appear in the public facing form. Is there a work around for this?I have the form set up where if an event is at capacity it won't show in the form, but haven't found a way for it to not accept registrations causing the event to go over capacity, which is why I though the registrant seeing the remaining capacity would be helpful. For example:A teacher wants to register their class of 40 for one of our spring concerts. Their first choice is Concert A, but when they selects Concert A, they sees it only has 30 spots left, thus they should go with a different choice. We use AT to manage rental properties. Here is a scenario and then what I am looking to accomplish. We list each house as a record in a base. We have a filed for when a house goes vacant to track when the rental turn project start and another for when it ends. I don't want to lose historical data the next time this same house goes vacant and needs a turn project. I would like to keep track of each time these change and create a place where we notate the last time before update the new updates. This will allow us to have a history of how long vacancy lasted and over time and with multiple properties we can get a feel for how long they last on the whole portfolio.Thank you in advance for your help.
