Hey there! I’m having this issue when trying to create a record into another table within an automation. I have creator permission in both tables and a paid plan. I’ve tried everything on this link Error in Automations and i’m now figuring out if that last comment is what is happening to me, though that would mean i cant create records if im leaving lookup or linked record field empty. In that case, Is there any way of doing both of them?

Hello all, I need your brilliant brains!I am new to Airtable and I am hoping to create a base to rule them all, so to speak. Basically, I am a small biz owner and a single mum with ADHD and I am just drowning right now and I need to turn things around and manage my time a bit better and I'm hoping Airtable can (and you) can help! I am thinking I'd like a base that I can use to map out my capacity in regards to the projects and tasks I have and sort of timeblocking my day. I'd love to be able to have time spent on tasks adding up so I can see when I am approaching the capped amount and/or when I have gone over. I want to be able to plan a weeks worth of tasks for the business, allocate to my subcontractor and reshuffle tasks around because, life happens. I would love to have a simple interface where I can view all of the data.I'd also like to have a base for each of my projects so that I can report back to the client about what has been acheiv

I need to change the name and email for one of our accounts — new employee name, new employee email address. The login is currently "login with Google" — which I don't have a problem with. I have access to that email and I'm logged in (former employee email). Airtable states that in order to update the email address and the name, I first have to "add a password" and that "an email has been sent to [former employee email address] to add a password" — I am logged into this email account, and the email has never been received. I have repeated this step nine or ten times and have never received the email. What are next steps? I've also contacted support, for whatever that is worth.

Hello,Is there a way to change the time format from a 12-hour to a 24-hour time format for the timeline view (as well as the interface element)?The calendar view seems to do it automatically, however, I can't find a setting or any info on the support pages.The columns are formatted as 24 hr.

 Hi guys, On my [Revenue] table, I'm trying to compute the expected revenue that I'll get from a client. The client processes payments twice a month after the work sessions are completed. We have struck a deal that spans multiple payment periods. To this end, on my [Revenue] table, I'm trying to set a dynamic filter on a lookup of the `Sessions` field, which is itself a lookup on the [Deals] table. I want the `Sessions` field on the [Revenue] table to display only the sessions – hourly sessions or weekly sprints – that ended after the `Work Period Start Date` and before the `Work Period End Date`. Hi everyone,I’m currently using Airtable to manage inventory for my small business, but I’m facing some challenges in automating inventory updates and tracking low stock items. My goal is to use Airtable's built-in features, along with custom automation, to streamline the process without relying on third-party tools.The problem is that, when a sale is recorded in the Sales Table, I need to automatically update the quantity in stock for the corresponding product in the Inventory Table. Hi - please note, I have searched all over support and community pages and cannot get a good answer. I am trying to embed a form on our website, and need to configure what happens “after the form is submitted”. Initially, we had a message, however, in the form itself on our site, that message appears midway down the form box (frame) – and cannot actually be seen. I would like to bring this up to the top of the form. This should be simple, I thought… but no. Then I tried to set a redirect to a “thank you” page on our site. When the form is submitted, a very ugly message pops up that the user will be redirected to said URL - and then it doesn’t and a new blank form appears. Again, this is not seamless. Any help on either above would be terrific. Thank you!

Imagine that we create two records in a table:1. The first is created through a form submission, so many of its fields are filled in at (or near) the instant that the record is created.2. The second is created by using the "+" button on a grid view. The record itself is created, then fields are populated as the user fills them in.Is there a term/pair of terms used to describe the "completeness" of a record upon creation? As in, the record created in scenario 1 is said to be **insert word here**, while the record created in scenario 2 is **insert other word here**.I often find myself asking other users how records are created in their bases in order to determine what types of automations are appropriate (ie. The "When a record is created" trigger can only be relied upon when you know that the necessary fields are populated on the record's creation). I received an email from accountsreceivable@airtable.com that our invoice from October is past due. I provided documentation that we submitted payment and have not received a response. Is this a scam?

I'm having an issue with my automations where the specified conditions are being completely ignored. I have a filter set to only send emails to records where the "60-day group" field is empty. This applies not only for the initial Trigger Conditions, but also every single step. However, the automation is still sending emails to records where this field is clearly not empty.I've double-checked my conditions multiple times and can't find any reason why this would be happening. It's like the conditions I'm setting are just being disregarded. This is also occurring to other fields such as "Automation Test Subject" being checked and Profile Last Updated being more than 180 days ago.Has anyone else experienced this issue of automations ignoring explicit filters? Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a list to show the previous month orders and would like to total the number and currency fields. I do not see any way to show totals in a list on an Interface dashboard. Is this possible? 

Hi all! Over the past few weeks, I have worked to update and improve my database and have several forms that I currently have “disabled” and put a message with the link to the new form. My problem with that is of course that ideally I would like to improve my user experience by automatically redirecting them to the new form when the page loads.There are a lot of people that have access to the old links and/or won’t update their records. is there a way to accomplish this?

My team operates within Interface. I have recently made a new interface for 1 on 1 meetings for each individual however I would like each individual to have only access to their page only and not be able to view the other pages. Can this be done or will I need to create a new base for this? 

Is there any way to create an http link to the trashcan? I would like to have a page in the interface that is titled "Trash" and has a button that links to the recently deleted items.

Have I forgotten how to limit user's ability to create new single select options on List View Interfaces? The toggle below is only available on sidesheets. Has it never been available on List Views, or am I just having an old person moment and can't find where this toggle is? 

I work for an educational non-profit and we use airtable to track our school visits and activities. We currently rely on grouping records together to show class-specific data as well as school-specific information. I was hoping that interface designer would be an easier way for our team to visually group this information together but didn’t see a way to group records. I could only filter and sort records that would show up. Is there a way to get all of this information into one Interface? I have a sample table below with the information we want to display. The first record has our school specific information and all subsequent rows are class specific. Ideally I want a way to display the school record and then have a simplified table for classes to update numbers throughout the day. Is that possible?

Hi folks,I've got employees that submit their timecard for every Friday of the year, so roughly 52 records for each employee all with the same date interval between them (1/3/25, 1/10/25, etc.). Many employees forget to submit a timecard for several weeks out of the year, so I would like to create a view/interface where each employee can see the weeks for which they forgot. I imagine it would be something where AT would compare the weeks/dates they should have inputted versus what they actually did input, but only displaying the difference between them, i.e. the missing dates. Is this doable in AT?Many thanks in advance.

It would be nice to use a windows tablet to input records but the scroll bars appear to be locked in position, has anyone had this problem and is there a fix or a setting to alter, tablet is a Lenovo yoga 2 running Windows 10, Regards Andrew

Is it possible to make an automation to send out an email every third Monday of the month? I was only able to find ways to send out the email every certain day or time of the month, but not a specific third weekday. Thank you!

Hey everyone!I’m running into a challenge while using Airtable in conjunction with Fillout forms. When using the duration field in Fillout, it only provides the exact times (start and end) rather than a length of time in between. To simplify things, I’ve limited entries to a start time and end time, assuming the event will occur on the same day.Here’s what I’m trying to do:•I’d like to create a formula in Airtable that takes the start date (provided in a date field) and combines it with the end time (from the duration field, which doesn’t have an attached date).•The goal is to format the end time as part of the same day as the start date.For example:• Start Date: 2025-01-14 08:00 AM•End Time: 10:30 AM

Hi,I was wondering if it is possible to create an automation that uses Airtable's own notification system. We use the interfaces for working all the time and it would be nice if we could get a notification if a certain cell reaches the date of today.

I'm looking at using airtable to use as a database for my startup as airtable provides simple implementation and data management features that make setting up data management simple.However there is one blaring issue that makes this difficult and that is the fact that you cannot set an exact number to offset your search by.I can work around the fact that you can't directly search by linked records by id or other parameters and have to use lookups and formulas to make this happen but not being able to offset makes me consider using another service.If you could setup something like this you could be very popular with startups as we need something quick simple and powerful to get our MVPs up and running quickly so we can test the market.

I have a database for our retail stores. The main table's first column is a formula that combines the store's name and the store's number with a " – " in between. For example, "1234 – Joe's Discount Hardware".I need to import data from a report that only has store numbers. I know could use the CSV Import extension by setting it to merge with existing records and set the merge field to the store's number.However, where I really need it imported is into another table in this base. This is where my roadblock is: Since the linked store identifiers are "1234 – Joe's Discount Hardware" but the report's identifiers are "1234", is there a way for me to link them?I did try bringing in a lookup field that show's the linked store's store number. But it can't use the lookup field as an identifier. Then I thought I'd found an answer by making the table's first column be =storeNumber. However, when I tell the extension to merge
