Hi I am trying to figure out how to remove the NaN value when the formula is 0/0I need it to reflect 0.  I have tried IF() and IF(And( formula's but I cant seem to get it to work current formula is {Surveys Recieved-MGR}/{# of Managers} Does anyone have any solutions?Thanks !

Hi Airtable Community!Problem: I'm having trouble adding a linked record to multiple records without erasing the data that is already in the cell.ContextI've got one table of studies, and another table of people. Each person can be linked to any number of studies in a "Contacted" field. Sometimes that field is empty, if that person hasn't been contacted yet, and sometimes it has a few linked records (studies) in there already.If I contact 50 people, I want to add the study I contacted them for to their record. If I copy/paste the study to the cell, this overwrites the existing data , so if there were 3 studies in there to start, I'll erase them if I paste in the new study. What I triedI made a field that concatenates the study name I'm adding with the study names already in the "contacted" field, and it comes out as text. If I then paste the text into the "contacted" field, voila, I have all of the records, or so I thought! Turns out this just makes NEW duplicate records of all of

I am trying to create records to a new table when the email table data table records doesn't change.

I’m new to airtable, it’s great! I’m trying to use it for a sign-off / authority database for leave requests, expenses claims etc. Is it possible to give a collaborator access to some columns but not others on the database? For instance they could create new requests but only people with sign-off authority could tick the “approved” column for requests. I know you could achieve this effect with a form for new entries but I’d prefer permission controls. Please let me know, thanks Thanks Lyndon

I have implemented OAuth integration with Airtable.However, if the users want to switch another account, they cannot do that because browser stored last login session. Are there any way to get rid of it ?

I have recently started with a new organisation as an Airtable Admin for their Enterprise account, and have just recently validated the domain and am now trying to manage user accounts and permissions more effectively including good procedure for deactivation/off-boarding. I've noticed that when editing 'collaborator' fields LOTS of old staff member accounts appear as options and it says they are "Enterprise account users without base access", these same people also appear as options when I am adding people into Airtable user groups. Ideally I would love it if these old staff members were hidden from these lists as it's confusing to sift through so many names.I thought perhaps I could rename them to "zz_name" or something via the Admin panel to at least push them to the bottom of the list and indicate visually that they aren't active, however, I have just realised I can't see them in the Admin user panel AT ALL! I am trying to create an order form for the company I work for. Right now we get orders through email, where the customer just writes what they want on a paper, takes a picture of it, and emails it to us. I need the madness to stop. So I've been looking to create either a form or an interface of sorts that will allow my customers to be able to input their name, and company info including shipping address, and then they are allowed to input their own part numbers and quantity.I do not want to create an inventory table for them to be able to choose, as there are thousands of constantly changing parts and numbers. The customers know the numbers they need to use and how many they need.I am new to Airtable but I do have a decent understanding of how databases are structured and linked relationships. I am having trouble creating the form and allowing the customer to input a number and quantity on their own. If this is too vague, I can explain further on whatever area needs more detail.M

Whenever I attempt to edit some of the binary settings of one of my forms (e.g. the option to "redirect to URL" upon form submission), I get redirected to create a new base. I think this is a bug, but when I chat with the help bot it tells me to "send this information to Airtable support". When I ask the bot how to contact Airtable support, it does not respond. When I try to follow these instructions, I get directed back to the bot. How can I report this bug so it gets fixed?

Hi,I created a base for our nonprofit to manage a program. The main table is called "teams," as we work with teams of young people and educators. I created another table that is linked to teams, called Interactions, so that staff can log interactions there- similar to a CRM. I have a Lookup field in the teams table to show the date and text of the last interaction.The issue is that staff are ignoring this and using Comments instead. I have never instructed anyone to use comments, but it's there and it seems to feel comfortable for people. I am trying to think ahead to issues this will cause. I noticed in another question that you can't call up the most recent comment. Anything else?Thank you!

I am looking to Run a script in an Action. basically whenever the Category “Done” or “Postpone” is set to the record by single select field. I like to run a script that deletes those records. The trigger is pretty much easy to do by the automation configuration. The script is the one I didn’t figure out how to do.

Hi All,I'm attempting to calculate a simple calculation from fields that already exist in a given table: ({gross_expected_revenue_per_qty_sold} * ({your_split} / 100) * {qty_sold}) - {cogs} - ({printing_costs} * {qty_sold})I thought I was going crazy, had two different AIs look over this, and even after that, it the formula doesn't work. None of the fields from which this calculation is pulling are empty, 0, or negative, and for some reason, this still throws an error when I run it.  By the way, your_split is a switch formula that puts out a percentage like "35%" for example. SOLVED - Seems to have just been an Airtable Glitch for the day.Hi,I have a contacts table from one base synced to another base.It is 2 way synced and I have all settings set to allow editing and creation of new records:However, on the other base with the table synced, it is not allowing me to create new records.It does let me edit records which syncs up fine - but now creating new:  Any ideas why this isn't working? Thank youDM

Hey all, So, I’m trying to create a good poker league base, to track our friendly poker club results. I’m the only editor and I’m thinking about creating forms to allow other to enlist themselves to tournaments, I’ll create. So far, the base structure is: Players - personal info about the players in the club, such as name, phone number etc… Tournaments - list of the tournaments with date, properties etc… Leaderboard - as the name suggests, a leaderboard. who earned the most Balance - supposed to be a running balance. deposits by players and money sent to winners Results - Name of a tournament and the winners. Bear in mind, ClubGG (the poker platform we use) doesn’t has an API. so, we input everything manually. how would track rebuys in realtime? a form with a “+” button that adds +1 in the “rebuy” column ? What’s the correct way to list the players in each tournament? one line per registered player or one line and a field that lists multiple players? Thanks.

I'm a literary agent and I'm trying to create a way to track my submissions of clients work to publishers. I have a client table, a titles table and an editor table. It's tricky to do this in any of these because some editors will see multiple projects and keeping the feedback etc separate is giving me a headache. In the titles base I have an area where I add editors to a list when I've pitched to them and want to put them on my eventual submission list - at the moment this is a linked field with multiple select capability. What I'd like to do is have another table which essentially creates my submission lists and enables me to then go on an record submission dates, responses etc...I've tried to set up an automation so that a new record is created in the tracking table when I add editors to the multiple select field in the titles base so that I end up with a record that is basically TITLE X Editor A and the next field TITLE X Editor C... so that each one will be unique -

The problem is that I have other tools linked to Airtable, and I would like to find a way to put the date of the last comment or just the comment count into another field to trigger an automation that launches a webhook. Hi There -Im having trouble with adding dynamic mentions with my slack message automation in airtable. Currently my airtable is connected to salesforce where it pulls a managers name into the airtable record. I'd like to set up an airtable automations that messages a specific slack channel, that mentions that specific manager. There will be a number of different managers and I dont have an actual list.From my understanding, I need to set up a formula that looks up the managers slack id, but im not sure how. I dont want to have to manually link the slack ID as there may be new users added from time to time. The airtable documentation around dynamic mentions kind of makes sense but im still missing the piece on how to lookup the slack id. It says to use the following CONCATENATE("<@", {Slack member id lookup}, ">")but im not sure if i need to manually find the id and insert it above? or if this exact formula should automatically pull the slack id for me. is this even poss

Hello everyone,I have a specific need that I can't seem to solve. Basically, my database includes training dates with multiple participants. At the end of the module, we ask the trainer to evaluate each participant on at least 5 criteria.So, for each training, there are 5 or more associated criteria. And each registration is linked to an evaluation form to which each criterion is attached, which are rated on 5 stars at three points in time: "beginning of the training," "middle of the training," and "end of the training."I need to send a form that groups all the evaluation forms of the session as a linked record. And then I need to be able to click on these evaluation forms and then on each criterion on which I can add a rating at the beginning, a rating in the middle, and a rating at the end (3 columns in the rating format). I tried using fillout, but it seems it's not possible to update a linked record, which is very restrictive. Hi everyone,I have been struggling with comparing a date of when a record has been created to a date I am manually inputing into the formula. So basically I am trying to use the IS_AFTER function but have tried so many things and just everything is either coming up with error or false to all fields even though i know some of them are after the date i am specifying.I am trying to get all records that are true to being created after the 21/10/2024 and feed them into a make.com automation using this field or formula.This is the formula I have been using but all the fields are showing up as 0 (false) when there are definitely some records created after the 21/10/2024. Hi,I'm new to AirTable and trying to work out if this is possible. I'm creating a form to collect data on various buildings and the facilities they have within them. I've got a starting list of facilities that I'm going to use a multi-select list for, with a checkbox option for other. If "Other" is checked I'll then show a single line text field for the data collector to add another item. However, there could be many items to add. Hello, I want to send a form to users to sign up to an activity so the user can provide their contact information and their acknowledgement to have read certain conditions. I know how to configure the basic personal information, but what’s the best way to do the section for reading and acknowledging the conditions? I don’t have a place on the web to put the text to read so I can’t send the reader to an external link. Is there a way to link to a separate field in a base, with very long text ? I would have to do this for three conditions. I was thinking: One of the field has to be a long text “X” to read. The next field would be a single check box “I have read X” Any suggestions? Hello all I’m a reporter who uses Airtable to keep track of big developments on the subjects I cover. When I find a relevant article, I use the clipper to pull the page title, URL and whatever text I’ve highlighted in the story into a table. It’s a nice system. But what I can’t work out is a way to easily log the date of an article’s publication. It doesn’t seem possible to add a date field into the clipper, so at the moment, I’m writing the date manually into a short text field. That’s fine - though if I want to arrange the articles by date, or generate a timeline infographic, I’ll run into problems. How might I work around this? Dave
