Hello Airtable community,In my usage of Airtable, I extremely often find myself wanting to rerun failed automations after fixing some issues in scripts, but at the moment the rerun button only offers rerunning in the previous state of the automation.And the suggestion in the support documentation doesn't apply to my case as this often happens in cases when the trigger is a webhook. And rerunning things then is quite complex and time consuming...I'm therefore wondering whether anyone had insights on some upcoming option on Airtable automations to support rerunning using the new state of the automation, if others share the same troubles, or if the Airtable  team could share their viewpoint on that feature request.Thanks!BC

How to add multiple images to Airtable's WebClipper inside a single attachment field?I know how to use css selectors to get a single image in an attachment field. I know I could use multiple attachment fields to get 3 images from a website with 3 css selectors. But I want to have all the three images (or however many exist) to be all added in a single attachment field.

Hello all,I have a new construction Community, which has not yet been mapped by Google Maps; but, I have a homesites map/ rendering of the Community. I want to be able to click on any particular homesite, and have specific data on that homesite become available. I already have a decent interface which holds the key info I want to be able to access quickly. So, this would be a complimentary capability, perhaps like a front end to the interface, which would be the Community homesites map. Click on a homesite, and it opens up the record details page (of the Interface).I reviewed the various map extensions, but have been unable to figure out how to make any of them function like this...Thanks in advance for any help!Joe

Hi! I use airtable for lots of things - but a primary use is data entry for a longitudinal study I'm conducting. Each row is a company I'm observing and the columns are observation dates. There are a series of measurements I do at each observation date (~11). Is there a way to bulk create/copy the eleven columns instead of individually duplicating them for each new timepoint?Perhaps I'm not thinking through the problem in a way that optimizes airtables strengths.To me, wide data is better for this use case than long data. I need the data to be exportable for table creation (the table tools in airtable are too rudimentary compared to excel) so this format makes the most sense to me. I also think new records for each time point is not as easy for people to follow for longitudinal data compared to new columns. Hi, I am hoping that someone might be able to help with a nested IF Statement I have a field that determines the size of an advert. I want another field to list the price for the advert based on the selection in the first column.This is the If Statement I created, but something is not quite right because it always shows the value £0.00IF(  {Advert Size}='Full Size','£100.00','£0.00',  IF({Advert ID}='Half Size','£50.00',  IF({Advert Size}='Quater Size','£25.00','£0.00'

I suddenly can't add multiple sync sources to my table.I'm on a business plan I have under 20 sources syncing to my table. Does anyone know what that might be the case? I can do it in other bases.I can add other sources in other bases: 

I created a new view in a base with existing shared views. On this new view, the share button is not visible like it is on the others (see attached screenshot). I submitted a support ticket for this last week and airtable hasn't gotten back to me yet. Can anyone help?

I'm a video editor, creating a client portal in Softr. On the Video Details page I want to embed the video player review page (external). If I use a URL field for the embed code, Softr is fine with it. However, I set up a Formula field to concatenate the first part of the embed code, then the url of the review page, then the last part of the embed code. The formula works, but as mentioned, Softr doesn't like Formula fields. I set up a URL field, but just need to figure out how to get the results of the formula into it so I can embed it on Softr. How would I automatically/dynamically copy the results of the formula into a URL field?Thanks

I created an interface with tasks for each employee.I want each employee to be able to see only their tasks.I created a page with a filter for each employee, but I don't see an option how to make an exception so that employee X will not be able to see the tasks of employee Y and vice versa.How is it possible to exclude a certain page from any processing?thanks!

I am sure there is an easy way to do this but I am still fairly new to Airtable.I currently have a table that has six formula fields that give users information about their progress throughout the year based on criteria from other fields in the table.  I have created a record review interface that allows each user read-only access to see all of their updated fields as well as the information from the formula fields.  This is all working great except that multiple times throughout the year I need to go in and manually change which formula fields the users see.For example, at the beginning of the year, formula field1 is in the interface which provides the inital progress that the users will see. On date1, I need to change field1 to formula field 2; on date2, I need to change field2 to formula field3, etc.Is there a way to set up an automation to do this?  I am not finding an automation that will allow me to replace fields in an interface, and I don'

Hi,I have a field that has my clients' phone numbers. I also have a RingCentral account that I make phone calls from. I would like to be able to click on the phone number and make a phone call automatically from the RingCentral app. Does anyone know of a link I can use directly in Airtable to accomplish this?

I have a table in my online portal with a hidden multi-select "filters" field that is only accessible via a dropdown menu but not visible on the actual table. I want to create an automation that triggers when my existing records (or newly created ones) matches the conditions I setup."If Field1 is none of ... and Field2 has any of ... update record FilterField with 2 filter options"The problem I'm running into is that existing records aren't updated, only newly created or updated ones. Of those newly created/updated records, it overwrites existing options selected in FilterField so instead of adding a 2nd option alongside the 1st one that is already on a record, it overwrites it and only inserts the option with is listed in my automation trigger. I have hundreds of records and it would take too long to do this manually!Thank you.

Hello everyone,I am working on a script where I send invoice data from Airtable to the QR-Invoice API to receive a QR invoice in PDF format. I then want to store this PDF as an attachment in an Airtable table for a specific customer.My goal is to automate the entire process (sending data, receiving the QR invoice, and saving the PDF as an attachment) within a single Airtable script, without the need for another automation tool like Zapier or Integromat. The process I'm envisioning is as follows:Invoice data from Airtable: I fetch the invoice data from an Airtable table.Sending data to QR-Invoice: The data is sent to the QR-Invoice API to receive a QR invoice in PDF format.Saving and linking the PDF: Once I receive the PDF, I want to save it as an attachment in the same Airtable table for the corresponding customer.

Greetings,Is there a way to customize Airtable forms in the following way? I'm building a very basic template of a SignUp system for clients, and I want to build an Airtable-only solution for them that they can use without needing to use Zapier, Fillout, Wufoo, etc.I would like to update the "+" sign in the Airtable form question below so it says something like "+Select Your Session" or to make it a custom image, or something like that. Is there any way to do this through a script, CSS, etc.??? The form looks good overall, but the lone "+" sign really isnt' very user friendly, IMO.TIA,ML 

I'm attempting to make a csv import into a synced table. I've curated the data to import and I'm 100% sure that it would only be updating existing records, not creating any new ones, but as soon as I set up the field to map by, I get this: Like I said, I have 100% verified that no records would be created with this import, I am 100% confident, yet this still pops up. Is this just a built-in constraint disallowing imports to synced tables, or is there something I can toggle to allow it?If push comes to shove I can create a helper table, import the data, then use automations/linking to get the data from the helper table into the synced table, that just seems like such a pain in the butt for what could be a simple import.

Hey all, first post in here. Has anyone else noticed that when creating a view and setting the filters (particularly on conditions relating to a date field that includes a time) there is no way to set the filter to read hours rather than days? My use case:- I want to set up a view to trigger an external automation (zapier) exactly 48hrs before a specific date-time- I set the filter to DATE = number_of_days_from_now = 2 However, that doesn't work as it doesn't include time in the calculation. e.g. DATE = 2023-09-19 16:00:00So then I want the filter to register a new row at: 2023-09-17 16:00:00But instead, it ignores time, adding a new row at: 2023-09-17 00:00:00 (as soon as it reaches the correct day basically) despite this being 16 hours early (but technically correct by 'days' alone).I've tried using DATETIME_FORMAT to extract just the time - but there isn't a way to

Hello,I am having trouble syncing records across tables within a single base.Table A has a list of dates and times for appointments.Table B has a list of people who are scheduled for appointments in Table A.Table B, Column "Email Reminder Sent?" is a Checkbox field that indicates whether or not their Email Reminder has been sent.I have "Table B, Email Reminder Sent?" linked so it also shows up as a column in Table A. This way we can see the communications status for each appointment without going to the Table B.The problem is that when I'm in Table A, the Checkbox field is read-only and I'm not able to check/uncheck it. So i can "see" it in Table A, but I have to go to Table B to edit it.I assumed I needed to enable "Two Way Sync" to get around it, but it appears that this feature is intended for syncing betw

IN a 2-Way Sync, what determines if a field is editable or not?The list Airtable offers seems very random, and in some cases is completely empty.Any suggestions to make a field editable?Some of the fields that are missing are simple text or date fields.

I have a table of projects that all have an Estimated Cost field.  At the bottom of the table it is summing every field, including Estimated Cost.Is there a way to access that data from the API?

Sorry in advance if this has already been asked and answered a million times. Basic Situation - I am a bookseller, and my POS is a POS when it comes to order integrations. So, I have to create a bulk upload in a spreadsheet of hundreds of books per week. This is fine, it’s doable, whatever. But it does require a lot of tedious data manipulation which I am hoping Airtable can reduce. The Issue - I need to compare one CSV file (the Purchase Order) to a different CSV file (our item database) in order to see which books are new and need to be added to our system. If they are new, then I need to format the data to match our POS’s upload template. If they are reorders, I need to check if there has been a cost or price change. I can easily do this in Google Sheets with vlookup formulas, but, again, having to copy and paste and move things around between different worksheets has gotten old very quickly. Hi, I am creating an app that takes user input and puts it into a Gantt chart. I am using Thunkable for this, however, when I run the code to display the Gantt chart, the screen shows: “airtable.com refused to connect.” I have attached the code blocks and the screen that is displayed. In the code for the URL, I am using the private link for that specific view. Let me know if you know how to fix this issue.
