I have a "master" table containing Clients, and an interface page that presents selected information as a dashboard launching point for each client. I have a separate table where clients can input "evidence" of all kinds, and from that I can filter, sort, whatever until I can work with that information however I like.  I have an interface page for this table as well, where I can manually select which client I want to review the evidence for - and that's where I need help.I want to have a button on the Clients interface page that will take me to the Evidence interface page with data already filtered to match the Client from which the Evidence button was clicked.  I don't know how to grab that information (client name) from the Clients interface and feed it to the Evidence interface filter element before I even land there, as a clearable filter (b/c I might then want to stay in Evidence but move around to a different cli

I created an interface dashboard with several groups (different charts, different numbers, etc.).  For aesthetic reasons (making the data make more sense to execs), I would like to have 2 groups side by side. For example, I would like to have a YTD group of numbers next to a Month's group of numbers.  The YTD and Monthly data will come from different tables, so they need to be in separate groups.  It seems I can only create a new group below or above another group, but I would like to create a new group next to an existing group.  Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

So I was following a video by AI Andy called Scrape 1000 viral content ideas: Mind Blowing Automation...I have never done anything like this and have ran the scrapers, entered the API keys, and followed the directions of ScottWorld for using MAKE with Airtable. Yet, I still get error 403. Do you need a paid account to get this to work from Airtable? Do I even get starting credits when I join? The credits say zero, but I am not sure if I need them or not. I guess there is no free trial offer? Any thoughts would be helpful!Thanks,Ryan

I checked some other forum posts and the Airtable notes on how to get tables to sync manually, however am only able to find the below:beyond the manual trigger button, there is no way to directly trigger a sync action between 2 tableswork around is to update a record in a synced table, to trigger Airtable's automated sync actionanother work around, or combined with the above, is to use 3rd party tools eg. Hello! I am currently pulling info from Jira into a table, and then pulling Sprint Start / End dates from Jira into another table. Because Jira doesn't expose that information directly, it is pulled into a GSheet, which I then pull into Airtable.The Sprint Name is pulled from Jira directly into my main table, and there is an exact match for each in the Sprint Info table. I created a Link to Another Record field which sources from the Sprint Info table, and corresponding Start / End date Lookup fields based on that table. I created an Automation that looks for any records in my main table that have a non-empty value and updates the Sprint Info 'Link to' field with the value from the Sprint field (screenshot below).When I generate a preview of the automation results, I can see that the Sprint Info linked field gets a value, but when I go back to my table, nothing is actually be

Our team is moving from Power Automate Flows to Airtable and I would like to see if its possible to replicate the automations. I understand that some features are very similar however Power Automate has a 'Parse JSON' feature that Airtable does not have. Do you know the best way to replicate this into Airtable?

Hi,So far we've been building a small CRM for internal use. Out of curiosity I started wondering if it would be possible to re-design it to support other companies. I've seen multi-company databases having an owner identifying prefix to fields, e.g.company1_projectcompany2_projectcompany1_e-mailcompany2_e-mail etc etcFor users there's the abstraction "current user" but haven't seen anything like "current organisation" as an access role qualifier. How would one build any access right system hard limiting any access to the user's own organisation.Would this be at all possible to design? Or would one need something like Bubble on top? Which then would take away the whole point of Airtable, and suggest doing everything from scratch within that environment, non?Rgds,Björn

Hey y'all, dunno if anyone has experience with this or if it's even possible, but is there a way to turn off user caching (or enforce today centric) for an embedded calendar view?I have a publicly shared calendar interface embedded in a webpage, but for repeat visitors it caches where the calendar was set at last access rather than defaulting to today (it's a month view). I wouldn't consider this a big problem if it only does this when you move the calendar around (then you've demonstrated ability in using the nav tools) but if you visit the page in November, and then again in December, it defaults to November for example. I looked at the embed code and didn't see anything, and explored all the options I see in the Interface designer. My site CMS is Wordpress by the way, but this issue still arises if you were to use the "View larger version" feature so I feel like it's an Airtable thing. 

Dear community, I have a table in which I am tracking multiple records, each has a PDF attached to it. I am trying to create an automated report using Documint that will list all these records. I am trying to attach the PDFs to the Documint Report, but it does not display them. It works fine with image files though. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Hi.When a form is submitted I want to send an email with a PDF of the submitted form.. I know how to create automation for an email, but now I ran into a problem of how to get that PDF. I already created how the PDF will look like with extension (Page designer) but I don't know how to automate that when the Form is submitted that the PDF is created (and also sent as attachment). So bottom line: I want that the PDF is created when the Form is submitted (and also if there is possibility, that this PDF is saved in the "attachemnt" field in the same Table).  Thanks.

Hello AirTable Community,I am trying to export multiple AirTable records in one PDF. Concrete case is a list of samples that have several values, I want to create a pdf that will be handed to the lab for testing containing a list of multiple selected records in a nice format, not just a CSV. Are there any tools or extension for that? I couldn't find anything so far. If this is not possible in AirTable, does anyone know a work around? For example exporting a view as CSV and then automatically converting the CSV to the PDF format, maybe in Google Workspace? Or through the interface?Thank you very much!

I know zero about coding, apps, etc. (yes, I can hear you saying “OK Boomer”). I am looking for a basic explanation of what API is (besides what the acronym stands for, which I had to Google), and why I need it to use Airtable. I am trying to use Airtable as a shared resource for a team to track tasks and task deadlines and status. No integrating with cell phones, no accessing data from somewhere else.

I want to copy “Sum” values of grouped fields within a table, and a field’s “sum” value agnostic of groupings. The information exists, I can see it, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to copy the data for pasting into other fields and/or external applications. Currently, I have to visually reference and manually type the sum value to use the data. This is arduous and prone to errors. I feel like I must be missing something obvious…Does anyone know how to perform this basic function? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to create an automation which take entries in one table to create a record in another table. It is currently erroring out on the date field as it seems to have multiple dates in the field (not sure why since I only see one date).  Is there a way to get the latest date or the date of the current value? I have also noticed that there are other fields with multiple entries as the project information is update. Is there any way to just get the latest information? Do I have to write a script? Right now we have a few different bases where contacts live and we're thinking of restructuring our workspace so there is one master contact list. Within the master contacts table we will have filtered views that can be synced to the relevant bases. The bases where our current contacts live have automations through Airtable and Zapier with 2 way syncs with our Salesforce and other apps. In theory it makes sense to have one master list so we can easily track all of the information for each contact in one place.My fear is that creating one master list for the whole org to use (~24 people) will cause issues if there are upload errors/mistakes or automation errors/mistakes that will impact the whole org all at once. Our organization has contacts for our members (10,000+), donors, prospective donors(5k+), press contacts, political contacts, and basically anyone else we interact with. We are excited about the ability to now make Forms in the interface instead of as just a view in the data layer. A lot more customization (can you say rich text formatting in the description 🙌?!). However, I don't seem to see the option in the interface version of Forms to allow users to request a copy of their responses like it does in the "view" Form of the data layer. I am trying to create a form to simplify uploading files to a “Lookup” style attachments field. The table we work out of (Table W) consists mostly of lookup fields pulled from another table (Table S), including the attachments field in question. Multiple records are generated on Table W from Table S and we do not want to upload project files separately to every single related record on Table W. The primary field on Table S is a formula field derived from entries within that record. There are no other unique fields that can be used in a form to select a specific record to allow an upload to the desired field. Any ideas on how to make this work? I can’t show any examples of the tables, but I can try to fill in anything I may have missed in my description. This is where I am stuck, we have a few users who are unable to navigate through the linked fields to add the files to the correct place.
