I’m currently selling my airtable base as a product. How to do that? Is there a way to create a user base that will be able to view the database? Collaborators would work best, but I don’t want them to see my changes and emails of other collaborators

I have been getting this very annoying bug where when I start editing on any interface page, the logo and header images on all of the overview pages across all of the interfaces in that base are automatically removed. Nearly every time I publish after making changes to one interface page, I have to reupload headers and logos to all overview pages. I hope developers can fix this soon!

Hi guys, I current have a button that opens a url that is a Make Web Hook, I was wondering is there anyway for the same button to also update the record.My plan is to open url to send email in sengrid, aswell as update status from Open > Sent. Has anyone done this before? Any assistance would be really helpful Thank you!  

I am testing a simple base approach which has three tables: Clients, Contacts and Jobs.The clients table has linked records to contacts to denote all the contacts that we work with at that client. And linked records to jobs to denote all the jobs we are working on with that client. A client can have multiple linked contacts and multiple jobs, but contacts and jobs can only be linked to one client.When I'm creating a new job record, I'd like to select the specific contact at the client who represents the lead contact for that particular project.I realise this can be achieved by a simple linked record field to the contacts table. However, when selecting from the contacts table, this shows all contacts regardless of which client they are at. Which theoretically means it would be possible to assign a contact from a different client than the job is for.What I was hoping was that there was a way to filter or add conditions to the linked record options so that when I go to select the contact,

I have Airtable views embedded on a google site page, and when you open a record detail you can see the attachment thumbnails in the attachments field, but then when you click on one of the attachments to view full-size, there is an error message "this page is blocked by browser". I'm building a project management platform. In my current configuration, there is a table for Projects, and another for Tasks. When a Project is created, an automation runs to add corresponding Tasks. The Project table has a "Status" field, with options for In Progress, On Hold, Canceled, and Done.When a Project status is changed from In Progress to On Hold, I added an automation that also changes the status of the underlying Tasks to On Hold (so the individuals to whom those tasks are assigned now to pause work on them).But how would I create an automation to switch that Task status back to In Progress if the parent Project status is changed back?If I set the trigger to be "when record in Project matches conditions (status = In Progress), it's going to update a lot of tasks that should be updated.Is there a scripting solution for "if a project was On Hold and now is In Progress, change all underlying Tasks statuses that were On Hold to In Progress"?

Hello,I have a base that has many tables that are synced via emailed CSVs. One table was initially set up with multiple emailed files where they were ingested as updates to the table, which resulted in the ~100,000 records needed. for initial setup.Since then, updates are sent through each night with updates (which are much smaller record counts). Some of the records that are updated causes them to fall "out of scope", meaning they aren't needed in the table anymore. I'm aware of the ability to delete records, one by one, that are not in the source data (current emailed CSV), however since the emailed CSVs are a much smaller subset, and at this point there are MANY "out of scope" records, it would result in searching through a list of over 100,000 records, for each record that needs to be deleted.Now, to my question - is there any way to mass delete records, given the circumstances described above? I am able to identify the records that are no longer needed through

What does done look like? (The requirements I collected)My CEO is wanting me to build a base that ties project management and PTO together for better task/project orientation.1. This base should display all projects and tasks as well as the leads and team members associated with them. 2. For PTO, the person's name should be linked with the dates that they will be out of the office.3. The dates for the PTO and Tasks should tie into on single calendar view that will allow my CEO to view everything from one place. 4. Alerts/errors should be displayed when a deadline or start date is set on a day where that lead, or assignee, is taking PTO.5. There should be an automated availability field that displays the persons availability for the week depending on their tasks/PTO assigned.  The base I have accomplishes 1-3, but I am stuck on completing requirements 4-5.Is there a way that this can be done?Have any of you built something similar to this?Any advice is greatly apprec

Hi all,I have a really simple script as part of an automation, that is supposed to open the URL of an interface page item that was created earlier in the same automation.I'm aware there's a button to open a URL in the interface designer, but then i can't have that button run the automation... function NewTab() {            window.open(            "https://google.com_blank");        } There are no errors, but the URL won't open.Any ideas? I'm creating a platform for project and task management. I have multiple users and multiple interfaces.One of those interfaces is an Admin section where projects would be assigned to users via a dropdown menu. I'd like this Admin interface to only be accessible for select users. But it appears that users who aren't given access to this Admin interface cannot be selected in the project assignment dropdown. For now, I've given those users read-only access to this Admin interface, but I'd prefer that this interface be hidden for them entirely. Is this possible, either on our current Team plan or any of the other account levels?

HeyheyI'm need a dynamic filtering option in the interface so I'm trying to use the built-in filter. For some reason the filterable fields that appear are not all the possible fields but just a random selection. I need to filter by status but status field is not an option to filter with the built in filter. See screenshots. Anyone can help ?

Hello, I am new to airtable My issue is I want to calulate the difference between two dates and calculate the seconds also, but i cant even add the seconds to the date how this could be calculated if it’s not even added. Im using the Datediff formula, is there’s any other solution?

Hey all! I have recently started using Airtable and I have been searching for an answer to this question for too long. I am attempting to track volunteer hours. I have a form that people will complete every time they have a “shift”. This form asks people when they came in and when they left. I want to create a formula that finds the difference of the End time and the Start time in order to find the total time of their shift. I have read through several ask the community questions similar to this and tried several formulas; including DATETIME_DIFF. However, nothing seems to be working. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Hi All, Apologies if this is a question already answered. I want to create a IF formula that reads for a single select sell and alters a formula dependant on what the single select field says. For example- where Delivery Month is my single select cell =IF(OR(Delivery Month = "MARCH",Delivery Month = "APRIL",Delivery Month = "MAY"), (Cost*2*4)+8), IF(Delivery Month = "FEB", (Cost*2*6)+8, ))When i place above in, the cell accepts it, but no calculation is done and cell is left blank. I have a table Formation 1 in Airtable that contains various information, including a field named Status with values such as "refused", "accepted", and "pack". I also have another table, Formation 2, which contains different information and is synchronized with the first table. I would like to set up an automation such that if an email in Formation 1 has a status of "refused", it should be added to Formation 2 with the status set to "pack solo". How can I achieve this?

In Table 1, I have a list of names. In Table 2, I’d like a single select drop down list that comes from the list of names in Table. This way I can add more names to the column in Table 1 and have them show up as options on the list in Table 2. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Hi, I have a Base called “BaseName” table with a checkbox field “Show in filtered view?”, and another view called “Only Filtered Items” of that table showing only checkboxed items. There are 74 total items and 44 of them are checked. And the “Only Filtered Items” view in Airtable itself contains only 44 items, as expected. But, when I export that “Only Filtered Items” view, it still contains all the items. The csv exported file is called “BaseName-Only Filtered Items.csv”. Is there some way to make the csv export only contain the 44 filtered items? Another detail, I filled out the checkbox field by copy-pasting from an excel sheet which was formatting as “Y/N”, but the check boxes look like they were inputted just fine. Lastly, I referenced Export selected records to .csv and I think it should be working based on that. So I’m not sure if I’m encountering a bug or something.

Our project management company is on the pro-plan and has multiple projects schedules in the one base, across many tables. From there, in each table/project we assign different team members, and have multiple different views for agendas etc. Is there a way to sync/combine the tables into one master to-do list for 1 team member? We are open to using automations, integrations, and even software outside of AT (if it can’t be done within AT). However, we don’t have much tech knowledge (we don’t know how to use automations well). If anyone knows of a way, that would be great. Thank you.

Hello,We've got a destination base (called overview) with dozens of sync source bases and recently enabled two-way sync, mainly so we could assign projects from the overview base. When a user field is updated on the overview and the field is set to notify users when they are added, it seems that the email they receive has a link to the overview record and not the sync source record. Is this a setting that can be adjusted, or do I need to think about a workaround with automations? Most of our team will work in the source bases and not the overview, and there are fields that aren't synced which they use.I've also found that if I turn off the notification setting on the overview (but not the source base) the assigned user doesn't receive any email at all.Thanks

Hi all - I work on a team that manages contracts and all of our data lives in Airtable. We use Favro, however, to track cross-team work to resolve post-contract enrollment issues. I then create a new row in a "Post-Enrolled Issues" table of our base that is linked to the primary contract table so that we can maintain visibility on each contract's issues while also reporting on summaries in an interface view.Double data entry, however, is no bueno. I have played around with and considered transitioning from Favro to a kanban view in Airtable, but without going into detail, have decided not to pursue this further.I'm therefore wondering if anyone here has experience integrating Airtable and Favro? I did ask a colleague check it out and they said, "The biggest problem I’m having with Zapier is that it will only pull one field from Airtable and make a new card with that field as the card name, so it’s not any more efficient than doing it manually. I created a Kanban in an interface. When I click on an entry the detailed view opens. It would be nice if you had the option of leaving a checklist entry with an entry as information for yourself.I once tried a “multiple selection” but you can only predefine the entries.You could try with a text field, but it would be nicer with a checklist where you can create the entries in the detail view.
