I have a form that i am sending out to my team members to understand how much time they anticipate they will spend on a project. I'd like to create a dashboard that shows in a bar chart how much time each member of the team anticipates to spend this week by project. So for example a bar should look like [----Blue----][--Green--][-Red-] with blue representing one project, green representing another, and red another. giving us the idea that the team member's time is 80% spoken for this week, with 30% going to blue project, 20% going to green, etc. The issue that I am running into is that the way that we have structured the form, the output table looks wide. so it looks like :Survey EntryName (link to project record)Survey Date

Hoping there is maybe native support here now, but probably not.I have a table where all the records are parts, and they have part ID, unit weight, quantity, and total weight. I would like to add a field that shows what % of the total weight of ALL parts that particular part is. So for example if my total weights of 4 records are 100, 200, 300, 400, then for records 1-4 the % in the calc'd value would be 10% (100/(100+200+300+400)), 20%, 30%, and 40%.I know this was limited in the past and the "best" workaround was to link every single record to a single record in another field, then lookup the roll-up sum total, then operate on that. It works but is clunky and gives you extra tables. Is there anything native baked in yet? Seems airtable has made a lot of progress but it still has these weird "create a new table and link to that and then roll-up there and then look-up in the original table and then operate on that" work-arounds that should have been long-since handled

Hello I’ve not been able to find documentation on whether it is possible to obtain the schema of an existing base, other than the one that is autogenerated in the form of online documentation. I intend to use this Schema to auto generate language bindings for specific bases; while code changes may still be required in the case of statically type languages one has to deal with updating the data structs that allow use to enforce type-safety and the specific code that use the endpoints. It’d be ideal if the API for each base conformed to something like Swagger 2.0 Best, Tristian

I would need to assign products to customers and based on the numbers of customer assigned to a product, the cost per customer is calculated (Price of the product divided by the numbers of customers using this product = price per customer) and it should be displayed like in this Excel table I use currently:Honestly saying, I have no idea, if such a scenario could be done with Airtable or if I should use Excel instead...

Hi all,A few months ago I had an automation working as follows.Trigger: Everyday at 8:00am - Find records were condition1 = x and condition2 = ySend an email with a grid/list of records matching these conditionsNow when I try to use the automation, 'grid of records' or 'list of records' are no longer options within the Message section of the email action. I even went back an old snapshot of the automation and found it existing as an option - but it fails to run and is greyed out (see photos below ). Copying and pasting this variable from the old snapshot to the current base results in an 'Invalid value' error.The 'How to create email digests with automations' guide follows these exact steps yet it's not currently working.Any help or ideas appreciated.

I've created an automation where when a checkbox is checked on a record in one table ("Assets") it creates a story/issue in JiraI have a second table ("Jira Sync") that is the real time sync to all the jira issues/stories.My desire is to automate the Link/lookup of the jira record id (Key) to be assigned back to the Assets table but this is the part i cannot untangle. I know there's a way to automate a vlookup between two tables so i could match on the "Summary" field which should be an exact match between the two tables but I'm not sure how to execute that - would the trigger be when a new record is created on the Jira Sync table?Further more, once the Jira Key is mapped back to the Assets table, can i create an automation where if i update any of those fields on the Assets table (trigger= when a record is updated) it will update the issue in jira. thereby creating a two way sync?thank you! 

I want to find the sum based on my first metric Companies and within that a metric KPI such that i find the sum of all values of a single KPI within a company. I’m averaging 3 columns, all rollups. Note that I have this formula in them, so certain cells are blank: IF(ISERROR(AVERAGE(values))=0,AVERAGE(values),BLANK()) The 4th column, where I want to average THOSE columns, has NaN if all 3 columns are blank. Which makes sense - I just can’t figure out how to get that 4th column to BE blank if the result is NaN. The column currently has this formula: AVERAGE({Value 1},{Value 2},{Value 3}) I tried to essentially mimic what I’m doing in the other columns but nothing I’m trying seems to be valid. Thanks!

Hello,I am currently running into the base exceeding automation limit and am trying to come up with a way to solve for multiple automations we have created by using a formula field or look up field.Currently, we assign users to certain tasks and we have another field that displays their phone numbers (long text field).  I am trying to set up a formula where IF a user is selected, it would then lookup/display from another table that user's phone numbers that are list on table 2.Is this process possible with Airtable?

Currently I have one apartment per row and the tenants #1 name, tenant #2 name, tenant #1 email, tenant #2 email as column name with the tenants info on the row. This hard to export the data this way or to sync to a crm with zapier. what is the best way to organize the contacts/ tenants in general so that easier to export or sync via zapier to a third party crm like cloze.   

Hi!I have an automation that runs through a few steps when a new record enters a form submission view (pictured below). I use the 'Find records' function to search a distinct set of contacts against email address -- if successful, the records are updated with new values. If unsuccessful, a new contact record is created. A few supplemental records are created as well.  The Find Records function is specifically looking for the Record ID to move into the update functions. In tests -- including test runs of the live automation -- everything works fine. It locates the Record ID, updates it in the next step, and everything is great. However, when I activate the automation and it runs live, it fails at the Record Create (or update) stage every time. And the error message is identical every time: 

Hi, new to airtable. I have several databases related to various types of inventories. I just want a simple interface to be able to select, for instance, a product. Then have the database properites for that product presented so I can edit them. For instance, adjust quanties. From the little bit of googling I have done it doesn't seem possible with airtable's built in tools. 3rd party tool implentations seems like a house of cards. I have tried this in Notion and it quickly becomes too complicated to be reliable. Are there any other ideas out there? Thanks 

Hi all - has anyone been able to bring a base back UNDER limit after going over? I’ve deleted over 10k records and emptied the trash without luck. So basically - we hit 50k records… got the “over limit” message. I went in and cleaned up some stuff - still “over limit”.

I tried posting this question yesterday but now I can't find the post so it looks like it didn't actually get created so I'm trying again.I've been tasked with creating an interface to our AirTable data using an API developed by Brightvine (Brightvine Data Link).  I can get back all the data using the API interface but I need to be able to pass in the last date the process ran on our end and get only those rows created since the last run date/time.  The BVDL gives me a place to enter URL parameters and I've tried using the "filterByFormula" option but I keep getting an invalid formula error.  The BVDL gives me access to the last run date/time in a couple of different formats when creating a parameter.Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Ray Porter 

Hello, Our records number has exceeded the 1200 limit however we then deleted several hundred records but the records number doesn’t appear to have reduced and the account is still warning we are over the limit. Can anyone shed more light on this or ideally how to resolve it? We deleted the records and then emptied the trash but it hasn’t changed. Many thanks in advance

TIA for any assistance.I have table1 (vuln) and table2 (archive).  I have an automation that when the record is created a UUID is created in the vuln table.  Then, when the status field of a record in vuln is changed form "new" to "closed" it creates a copy of that record in the archive table. What I need is another script that does the opposite.  When the status field of a record in vuln is changed from "closed" to anything else (basically re-opened) it needs to find the record in archive based on the UUID field and delete the copy of that record from the archive table.  I have the trigger setup, but I can't get the script to return the record. It returns the query, but the filter does not seem to work.  This would be easy if I could just do a view, but I can't.  I need to do a weekly purge of the data in the vuln table, but leave the data in the archive data. Hi,We're working on moving automation mail (Gmail) content from the automations themselves to a separate table, where other than admins can maintain text.In the mail content there may be markdown URLs with clickable "friendly names", e.g. [Book here](https://www.calendly.com). I copied the whole text from the automation to "Long text" fields with rich formatting enabled. This approach doesn't however produce markdown URLs, instead they print out the raw markdown syntax ('[Book here](https://www.calendly.com)').Remembering that using CONCATENATE formulas for URLs works in achieving the "friendly names" I tried chopping up the mail content, and using a summarising CONCATENATE field as input for the automation instead of a Long text field. I’m currently a little blocked so maybe someone has more info on the following topic. Overall, I’m trying to create a database that has recipes where I can understand both the cost per recipe and the macronutrient breakdown for each recipe. Where I’m getting stuck is breaking down the nutritional values because some ingredients are in cups and others in tbsp. I’m trying to convert measures to grams but am having trouble connecting the conversion info to the recipe info. How do I write a formula to populate anything that is created in that week, it will add the Monday date of that week. For Example:I have records for 10/7, 10/8, 10/10. I need the Starting Week of to be: 10/7 for all Dates. Then I need records for 10/14, 10/15, 10/16, etc. To be starting week of 10/14.I also have the: WEEKNUM({Created Date}) formula, so if there is an easier way to turn that week number into the starting date of the week, I can use that as well.

I'm using a simple formula to calculate the due date difference between today and the project due date:WORKDAY_DIFF(TODAY(), {Due Date})-1Which works for anything due today and in the future, but does not calculate properly for past due things. If today is 11/19, something due 11/18 should be Past Due by -1, but it shows -3. Given that it works for current/future dates, what am I missing here for the past dates?

Many of these are chained so that if the contact doesn't respond (e.g. sign up again after an event they cancelled), there will be reminders 1, 2 and 3 with some days time in between.Originally I created these as separate automations, it was simple and easy to overview.
