Recently I have issue with my JIRA integration (JIRA cloud) table "Intenal sync error".So I have this sync table on Airtable for JIRA tickets that had been working fine:1. We have a master table of items2. We have a sync table from JIRA3. In the master table, there are a link to record field to the JIRA table: we can track tickets relating to the items.Yesterday, I did some revision of fields on master table as well as table permission, I did not modify the synced table. Later on, I noticed the synced table is not working anymore. I tried to revert the setting of permission on fields and tables. On 1 try it worked and then not working again eventhough nothing is changed. I have also tried to create a new sync table but it only works for the first time. It was actually quite bizzare.Hope you have some experience with this or able to lend me some he

I have a Search records Airtable module in Make, which, given the same data, sometimes searches for a record correctly and sometimes not. Have you encountered such a situation? What could this be caused by? The data is literally identical in both cases. 

Trying to deploy my custom app to a Base and keep getting this error: Running locally - successfully deployed Mac OS Safari Browser (cache cleared) { “error”: “FORBIDDEN”, “message”: “You can only run your development block in the original base where it was created.” } There are no answers to prior posts about resolving this. Anybody have a way to fix this?

This should be a simple fix but I'm not seeing it.I'm doing a record search in Make.com using the Airtable Search Record module. See the attached screenshots.I'm trying to filter out records that already exist. But I'm getting the same output regardless whether I use the NOT() function.If I use the NOT() function I get 15 bundles output from that module. I get the same bundles without the NOT() function.What am I doing wrong? 

I am wondering if there is a way to remove the unsubscribe link when automating emails from Airtable?I have tried using both the email direct from Airtable and the from Outlook options.It is not OK if our clients can unsubscribe from these emails as we need to ascertain information before their audit is conducted.I read in a previous support article that automated emails using Outlook should solve this but it didnt work when I just tried it.

Hello,I need to create my own view under a task. When I duplicate the original task, any changes I make to the duplicate base affects the original one. How can I create my own task list/view without affecting the original one?

Context:I have two different tables: A User Info table, and an Event Request table. the relevant columns User Start Date, Event Start Date and Event End Date.Current Status:I am calculating the duration of the events in the Event Request table, pulling it into the User Info table and summing it to calculate total event duration per user.Issue:I want that event duration to reset after passing anniversaries of the user's start date. Any thoughts?

Hi all - I'm trying to write a simple formula that returns a Yes or a No if the Role Rollup (from People) field contains CROPPS Member anywhere in the list. As you can see, it's only returning Yes if the field equals CROPPS Member, not contains CROPPS Member. I've tried several iterations of this formula (search, switch, trim) none returning correct results.  IF(  FIND("CROPPS Member", {Role Rollup (from People)}),  "Yes",  "No")Any ideas?Thanks!Kelsey

Hello there! Currently we use Google forms to gather registration information from clients. Is there a way of creating a registration form on Airtable, from which the answers would go automatically to our Airtable base please? I am trying to avoid copying and pasting… Although I am sure there is a better way of importing this data too. thanks, Reeta

Hi, I have a table with tasks and would like to also manage subtasks in the same table. Currently, I have a linked field called "child". Using this field, I link to other tasks within the same table. So, a parent task record might show multiple linked records in the "child" field. I also have a "parent" field that allows linking to a single other record within the same table.I'm looking for a solution that works as follows:Trigger: When the field "child" of a record is updatedAction: Update "parent" field of the child record (s)*I created an automation that works for parent records with a single linked record in the "child" field (I did this by creating a formula field that converts the linked record in the "child" field to text). But whenever the "child" field has more than one record, the automation breaks down. Can anyone help?Thanks in advance! 

Hello,Using a last modified field type named "Closed" and a lookup field showing the last one called "Meter Type" and "Repeat Interval" I am trying to calculate and output the appropriate date when closed is 7/17/2024 16:41, meter type is Calendar Month, and repeat interval is 12, the formula should produce 07/31/2025. Very green user here. I have Airtable Free, and I have four tables in my base: Work Entries, Clients, Projects, and Invoices. I want to have Automation take just the Client I select and a date I select in the form, go to the Work Entries table and look for all records for that Client AFTER the last invoice date for that client (invoice dates are in the Invoices table), and then sum all the Billable Amounts (in $) from the Work Entries table, summing only those

Hello, I have a look up field which displays a value generated from a formula that lives on another base. I am trying to create a formula field that multiplies the value in the look up field by the percentage value in another field that is generated within the same base (i.e. is not a look up field).I have tried the following:"Look up field value field" * "percentage value field"and then:VALUE("Look up field value field") * "percentage value field"I have tested the percentage field with a simple calc and it works. When I try anything involving the look up field it returns error so it is definitely the look up field thats the issue I think Any hints appreciated 🙂

I'm trying to build an automation that, based on a set of input values specified by a user, will output a set of available dates to create timeblocks in a calendar. The user specifies what date to start with, how many weeks to create these blocks for, as well as start & end times for the day, break time & duration, and how long each timeblock can be for (including some follow-up time). There seems to be an issue with uploads for years, the bug is uploads / attachments are cancelled if you navigate to a different app or to a different screen/record. Is there anyway to get this fixed (ie. run uploads as a background process?). Running latest version of iOS / AirTable iOS app but the issue has been around for years.

I have two tables with matching fields. (week ending dates) I want new records created in Table A populate in the multiple select lookup field in table B if the weekending dates match. How do I do - I fear the AI has sent me on a whild script chase.

Hello everyone,I’m currently working on an Airtable project where I manage two tables: one for accounts and another for account status. I'm trying to set up an automation that allows the names of the accounts to be automatically transferred to the status table whenever a new account is added. Here are the steps I’ve taken so far:Created Two Tables: One for the accounts and one for the account status.Set Up Automation: I’ve created an automation that triggers when a new record is created in the first table.The goal: AUTOMATICALLY transfer the account names from the first table to the first column of the second table as soon as a new account is created.Unfortunately, the automation isn’t working as expected, and I’m only seeing a "B" in the status table instead of the correct account names or nothing happens at all. I'm unsure if it's due to the settings or if I've overlooked something.

Hi guys. Im quite new at automations and scripting. I have been trying to set a an automation that filters records under specific conditions and then opens an URL contained on a field of that record. I have learnt that this is not possible through Airtable, so im also working through Make to achieve it, but its not being easy for me either. But i have seen another  possible solution: Open it through a clickable link in markdown. So im trying to write a script in other to do so. Hi everyone, I’ve been using Airtable to organize my content for a horror story website, but I’m facing a bit of a challenge when it comes to categorizing different types of stories. Since I write a mix of horror and thriller, sometimes the themes overlap, and it’s tricky to create a clear tagging system to sort them efficiently. I have string fields and I want to extract the first two words (minus any punctuation or special symbols). Ideally, they would remove the white space and capitalize each word as well.So a field with “Midnight: A Tale” = “MidnightA”. ”What’s New in Books” = “WhatsNew” I’ve looked all over to find a way to get two words, but can only find out how to get one. I got into RegEx a bit, but couldn’t figure out how to account for the punctuation/symbols. If someone has a slick way to extract the first two words of a string, I’d be eternally grateful!

Hello,Bottom Line Up Front: I would like to know, how can I use my table's Primary Key as a Single Select / Drop Down Menu option in an Airtable Forms question. Backstory:I am creating a "Sign Up Form" in Airtable to allow Applicants to schedule themselves for my available appointments in the Appointments table. In order to link their Applicant Table (screenshot #1) record with their Appointment Table (screenshot #2) record, I'm planning to:1) List the Appointments (Primary Key from the Appointment Table) as a Drop Down Menu in the form so they can select 1 to schedule. 2) Have the Application # included on the Form, and prefilled through the unique form URL I give them, which will enter their Application # in that field on the form automatically. This will help link their Appointment with their Application.How can I do this???TIA!

Hi FolksI am a newbie to AirTable, so apologies if my question seems very basic.My automation consists of an action script that calls an API for an external system, and if the API operation is successful, it sets the “Status” and “API_Response” fields in my AirTable to “continue next steps” and “Success” respectively.Then, a conditional logic block is meant to check if "Success=continue next steps" and "API_Response=Success" and if these conditions are a match, a Create Record and Update Record actions are to be executed.However, even when the API operation is successful, the conditional logic is not evaluating to true for some reason, when it should. As a result, the Create Record and Update Record actions are not being executed.I have attached a screenshot showing the automation.What am I doing wrong?NOTE -The code in the action script that updates the Status and API_Response columns is as follows:
