Hi Everyone, I’m just getting started in Page Designer and have two questions that will aid my workflow: -Is it possible to save a layout to use on other tables? -Is there a way to create pages from a selection of records in a table? I’d like to be able to use this extension to send pdfs of selected records within my table, tailored to each client. I’m still getting a feel for airtable, so if you can think of a better strategy I’d love to hear it. Thank you Josh

Hi, I am looking for some help with a formula that assigns a specific shipping box to a product based on product dimensions. I have a table for Products and Boxes. The example dimensions of 2 product are: Product 1 : 50cm x 40cm x 5cm Product 2: 80cm x 60cm x 8cm The products will be assigned to one of these two example boxes: Box Size 1: Fits products measuring (40-60cm) x (30-50cm) x (3-6cm) Box Size 2: Fits products measuring (60-90cm) x (0-70cm) x (7-9cm) I am having trouble with the IF or IF/AND formulas. I am newish to Airtable and the person that built it for us no longer works or has access to it, one of our forms is not working and comes up with a error message, how do I fix this as I have had a hard time connecting with support team.

I have a record that triggers the creation of up to 3 records. It may need to create any combination of those 3 (which is 7 possible combinations), which is proving convoluted with the options I know of with the automation options.1) Have 3 different automations with the same trigger for each of the 3 records that might need to be created - i.e. automation 1 creates record a (if required), automation 2 creates record b (if required), automation 3 creates record c (if required). 2) Create 1 automation with the 7 different combinations as conditional actions. This is the set up I have now.Option 1 is wasteful of automation runs and automation spaces for our plan.Option 2 is convoluted and time consuming to set up. It seems like there should be a more elegant way to do this? I'd like to know for future automations I may need to create, especially if they get more complex (each extra possible record to be created very quickly makes huge amounts of possible combinations).Ideally,

Hi,I am new to Airtable and now very tech savvy in general so I'm sorry if this is an obvious question.I have a table with a list of my discovery calls and then I record when these turn into paying clients. I want to summarise how many sale I make per week and per month. When I did this in excel I created a separate sheet that had the weeks of the year listed by date and by week number. Then I set up a formula to capture all sales made in that specific week. How do I do this in Airtable?Thanks!

Hi everyone,I’m encountering some challenges with defining a rollup field that combines data from three tables in Airtable. Here’s the setup:Buildings (fields: name, etc.)Employees (fields: name, hourly_rate, etc.)Timesheet (fields: employee_name, building_name, day, hours, etc.)I want to create a view that summarizes the total salary for each employee in each building. I am building a task list where the same daily tasks are completed each day, so I have a list with around 20 tasks or so, with links and the time they should be completed etc. However, there are a couple of tasks, such as client briefings, that only occur on specific days of the week - is it possible to get it so that these tasks only show on the day of the briefing in my interface, not everyday?

As of today, our airtable automations that react to action triggers of certain fields in not really large tables are incredibly slow and sometimes freeze, so we have to disable and re-enable the automation.In addition, navigation in the backend is tedious and slow.Our tables have a very manageable size, the largest tables have around 1500 rows.Since we also use Softr as a UI, we also notice very poor performance here.What can we do?Edit: To make the severity a little bit clearer: Action Trigger was set at 2:54 pm and the automation was finished on 3:49pm! It simple copies a row from Table A to Table B! 

Hi All,We are considering using the Embed view as HTML tab in Confluence to showcase the project data.My question is it is possible to customize the embed view (not only the height), for example not to display a certain tab?We've considered using the Interface for this task but it has Embed view only for the premade presets, which would not do the work for us.

I've seen iterations on this question, but never an answer that works for my case.I have a base for newsletter management. Two tables in the base (others omitted for clarity), one to track and manage the weekly newsletter (author, topics, etc.) and one for events and holidays in our community.I'd like to put them together into a master calendar. I have been trying to do it at the field/formula level on a new table, but can't figure it out. I only need two fields, the date of the entry, and a subject or name field.I think I could solve this if I could get a calendar view to subscribe to another calendar view's exported iCal URL, but I can't figure out how to do that either.Any help?

I wrote some multiple select answers when creating the formular but when opened to be answered, some texts are cut, so only first part can be read. How can I address this problem? Thank you Lidia

Hi everyone,On my Airtable App, I have an Admin timeline view on a page that shows all tasks, grouped by project, client, etc that only I use, which lets me see all activity. All users have access to a seperate Task dashboard that shows their assigned tasks, etc.  but if I am in my Admin timeline view, and try to assign a task from there, it won't let me as it says the Assignee doesn't have access to this interface.The only thing I am updating is the Assignee field in the task, so it surely shouldn't matter that the assignee doesn't have access to this specific view I am using to delegate tasks?Any thoughts / workarounds? For reference, when I try to do this, the 'invite user to interface' pop up window appears with all of the sharing options, etc. and it doesn't let you continue to add the assignee without sharing. If you cancel from that pop up window, the assignee window just stays blank. Thanks!Ross

Hi, I'm running an automation that monitors a table for certain fields and when any of those fields get updated, I want to run script that sends those field values to an external platform, via an API call to that platform. I know how to write this script, however I can't figure out how to reference the specific record whose field was updated. Is this possible?Here is a screenshot of my automation. 

I need to calculate the number of days a ticket was open, but excluding weekends.However, Airtable wont let me change my work days to be Sunday-Thursday.What formula can I use as a workaround, to count all days of the week minus every Friday and Saturday of the year?

Hoping someone can help, I saw in Airtable's 'What's New' update in July that if a formula returns "a boolean (true/false), a new formatting option lets you output the result as a checkbox instead of a number". This would be really useful for me, but I have tried multiple ways to do this and have not sound it possible. I know Airtable's checkboxes mostly use 1 for checked and 0 for unchecked, so have tried outputting formula as a 1 or 0 for true / false, but no luck (tried "1" / "0", "true" / "false" etc too). Here's the screenshots from the 'What's New' page, if anyone has had any luck with this, help would be really appreciated. Thanks Matti

We have an Airtable base that we would like to display in WordPress. It should be filterable, sortable, etc.; and we should be able to style it as we please. We do not want to simply embed Airtable as an iframe.

I am trying to send all records in a to do list base to someone once a week.  When I find the view in the automations and test its not showing all the records. It just showing ten and won't send all the records in the view that I want to send out

Hi Airtable Community.Now, I use "When a record is updated" trigger in my automation and I want to use only the data of updated field for sending notification to my team member.Concretely, my table has 3 fields which are "Assignee_1", "Assignee_2" and "Assignee_3", and when someone update one of these 3 fields, I want to send the notification to only the member written in the updated field.However, I don't know how do I get only updated field data.If you have any good solution, please let me know. 

Is there a way to know the IP of my airtable account. I want to call an API from airtable using Zapier automation. The third party needs to whitelist my IP so that i can call the API. Any help is appreciated.

I was hoping to put a youtube video in attachment but the URL says it can not be found. Tried a few different videos with different style URLs with the same not found error. Is there a easy way to add video or will I just have to add URL to the video? Which is fine, I just wanted to know if I could embed it without link or downloading, so I thought I would ask.

Hello!I'm new to automation and trying to figure out how to copy data from one field to another when one field is not empty and the other is empty.I have a Tasks Due table and a Reminder field that is a Dateadd formula which calculates a date from data from another linked table. I want to copy that Reminder field and paste it into my Date Due field if the Reminder field is not empty and the Date Due field is empty. Can anyone help? Screenshots of how I currently have it set up. I've tried changing up the conditions, Record ID and field but can't get it to work.Thanks so much for any help you can give!

I am setting up an AirTable to manage incoming event registrations, with an automation to assign people to a particular session in the event, depending on whether that session has met its cap. There are multiple conditional steps; people select first, second and third choice sessions, and the automation has four conditional actions to assign people to the first available session from their choices. I am already running into a "Received invalid inputs" error when testing the conditional actions.I've attached three screenshots of the automation set-up. It seems that the issue is in the conditional action that is set to run IF the "List of names" (pulled from the "Open Sessions" view that is pulled from the "Find Records" action above) CONTAINS the "name" value of a single-select field that is pulled from the record created (which is the automation trigger). The error message says "Received invalid inputs" but I haven't been able to identify the issue. Separately, a concern
