I'm using an Automation to create records for Parent Contract data to be pumped out of Airtable using Zapier. Tables with source data:Family Registrations - contains parent data (names, addresses, etc.)Enrolled Students - student data, including lookup to Classes in which students are enrolledContracts - data for Zapier to access when creating a contract (sending to DocuSign).Relationships:Each Family has one or more Enrolled Students.Each Enrolled Student has one or more ClassesEach Family gets one contract with all student enrollment data, including classesI have an automation successfully running for cases where the family has 1 student enrolled in 1 class - the family, student and class data is successfully written into the Contracts table. I use Find Records to generate a list of Classes - when the Length = 1 all's good.  Trying to figure out how to handle multiple classes per studen

Hi, I want to export the whole content of my database to google sheet, in order to make advanced analysis in google sheet. I wrote the following code to do that, which works, but i have an issue with the linked recors. he gives me the airtable code of the records, not what i see in the cell on airtable. Any idea how i can manage that? I also try to use Bardeen as a work around, but i have the same issue. Linked records come back as RecordID, not as texts. Thanks a lot!

Greetings, I have an Airtable field titled: Course Status and to the right of that field is Total Enrollment. In my Excel spreadsheet version, I used a vlookup to return the value of ‘course status’ The formula: =VLOOKUP([@Enrolled],Table30,2,FALSE) Table30 0-2 enrolled = On Standby 3-9 enrolled = Low Enrollment 10-28 = Will Make! Dear Airtable Community, I’m having an issue with assigning tasks in Jira an assignee from these leads in Airtable. The way my current automations work is every time I assign a status to a specific field, a task in Jira is created, already containing a lot of information from the record, Jira issue’s key is immediately saved back to the lead in Airtable, pretty neat system for us. For some reason I cannot set-up this automation to also assign the issue to a collaborator in Jira, using the collaborator’s name in the “Assignee” column in Airtable. The automation setting only allows me to pick one name, in other words only “Static” value is allowed, not “Dynamic” as with other fields. How can I fix this?

Without any changes I recently started getting a 422 UNKNOWN_FIELD_NAME error for a field in my table. The field is available in the API docs ( Investor // Checkbox // boolean // This field is “true” when checked and otherwise empty.) My body looks like: data = { ‘fields’:{ ‘Investor’: True } } If I make a GET request for a particular record, the “fields” object looks like: {‘Investor’: True}, passing back that same object inside data results in the same 422 error

Hey everyone!I’m managing a project with around 40 part-time team members and could really use some help with setting up a simple but effective task allocation system.Here’s what I’m hoping to achieve:I want to create a task sheet where, once a user marks the “Status” column as “Claimed,” the task either disappears or becomes locked so that other users can no longer edit it (but they can still view it).As the manager, I’d like to be able to continuously add tasks to this sheet, keeping my workload minimal.The goal is to reduce the time spent manually managing who’s claimed what, so the system becomes a bit more self-sufficient. Hello,I need to trigger a webhook to Make.com, but I need to avoid the confirm tab being opened. Therefore, I cannot simply use button + webhook and I probably need to use a script. And this is the part I cannot do by myself.So here is the situation - I have a button as one column and what I need to achieve is to send a webhook with recordID to Make. In the interface, I have a "record view", where the button is for each record. The button works fine with this: "https://hook.eu2.make.com/myhook?ID=" & RECORD_ID()But it also opens a new tab, which is unacceptable for my use case.So I tried three scripts, but none of them worked. Hello everyone, I hope you can help me with this. I have a table with many records related to Spotify listeners or Instagram followers of various profiles. I usually review and update a lot of data daily. I have created an automation to generate a copy of all records that are modified in the source table and move them to another table so that I can track the evolution, for example, if the monthly listeners of an artist grow or decrease.The problem is that in the destination table, it creates a new line every time there is the slightest modification in any value of the source table. I would need to modify the automation so that, for example, it creates new records in the destination table only once a day, with the lines that have been modified in the source table during the previous 24 hours. This way, I would have in the destination table only one line with the most updated results of everything I have reviewed that day.Of course, if you can think of any other way to k

hello, i’m new to this and i’m wondering what the best way to approach putting lists of songs in here! basically i have too many playlists on spotify and i don’t listen to all of them anyway, because it is more like categorising them. on spotify i have different folders and multiple playlists within them, e.g instruments: piano, guitar etc. i’d like to transfer that over to here and have the fields be the song names of those categories. what’s the best way i can make this without it getting too overwhelming? just for reference i have at least 100 playlists that i’d want to transfer, over like 15 folders. thanks!

I want to track time spent (in days) in the current stage and time spent in each subsequent stage as the transaction progresses through the deal lifecycle.  I want to be able to report on this data.Some reports I would like to run include:how many deals are in stage A, in Augusthow many deals are in stage B in July vs August vs Septemberhow much time is spent in each stage? What are the averageshow much time is spent moving from stage A to B and C to D, and what are the averages over timeAnother similar use case: for these deals, I would like to count the number of deals captured each month and the average over time. I have a base used to track conservation information about media in different formats. Each format has its own table. The tables are: Film, Video, and Computer Media.Across the tables, each record is an individual item. The fields for each table differ, as the conservation data in those fields is different depending on the media. (For example, Computer Media like a floppy disk does not have a film gauge of 35mm, 16mm, etc.)I want to create a fourth table that pulls in select records from all three tables. I want to pull in only records that have "reformatting candidate" checkbox field selected.I know this could possibly work by having all the records in a single table, but the amount of fields would grow quite large and would require multiple different views with various fields left empty and hidden. Hello! I am pulling stats for an interface dashboard and I am trying to make sure I know what some of the terms mean exactly and have searched for term definitions but can't find a list. Does anyone know if one exists? Here are a couple of examples of what I mean. When I put in "is within" "this past week" I want to know exactly what days we are talking about what is "this past week" is it Sun - Sat of the previous week? Also terms like "this past month" Does that mean the past 30 days or all days in the month prior to the current month.Thanks,Debbie

Both we and the new company have our own client lists in Airtable and we would like to combine these, as we have some shared clients already, without (at this stage) merging the Airtable bases in their entirety.We would like people from both sides of the business to see each other's clients in one place, so that:1. we can see which clients are shared2. we don't create records for clients that already exist in one of the basesNew clients added in one base should be updated in the other base too.Ideally, clients should be able to be created in the existing 2 bases and update across, rather than created in a new 3rd base, but if that's not possible then that's fine.The clients will be linked to other tables in the respective bases and these linked fields should be displayed (via plain text if needed) in all bases.Does anyone have any ideas how we can do this? Hello, I want to use forms to let people outside my organization link records among my existing tables. I don’t want to let them create new records. Just let them link one field to another. Is there a way to achieve this through forms? I’m having trouble with the primary field being just a string of text. Ideally, someone could select the primary field from a dropdown, and then link whatever they want to to that specific primary field, without creating a new record. Use case example I have a list of companies as my primary field. I want someone to use forms to pick a company and associate it to a topic (currently linked to a Topics table, it basically acts as a multiple select).

Hey everyone,I have a 2 formula fields that generate prefilled form links. The forms are nearly identical and contain a number of linked record fields. I have noted that some of the prefilled linked record fields fail to prefill when opened with different Chrome profiles, or on Safari, on my own computer. Here is the spread of variation:Chrome Profile 1: Everything works as expected across both formsChrome Profile 2: For given records, both form links failed to load (Chrome says the page is unresponsive). I have not determined a common cause across records who's links fail yet. When the form links do load, there are (2) linked record fields that do not prefill.Incognito: All form links load (including those that do not load in Profile 2). 1 form works fully as expected, the other has (1) linked record field that does not prefill.Safari:  An inconsistent mixture of all anomalous behavior referenced above.I understand tha

Not all data records are stored in my table A, so some fields are empty. Now I would like to fill the empty fields using a form. is this possible?Approach: I would have to select the data record or data from the primary field so that the data records to be updated can be assigned correctly. so that the missing data is added when submitting the form.

Hi Airtable Community,I’m currently managing a database where payments are recorded in a “Payments” table, attendance is tracked in a “Attendance” table, and student information is kept in a “Students” table, all to maintain good data normalization. However, I’ve run into a significant issue when trying to create a “Debtors” table. Creating a unique list of student-class combinations from the “Attendance” table was not as straightforward as I had hoped. It required exporting the data to Google Sheets to generate that unique list. Additionally, I was able to automatically link each payment to the attendance records by using an automation based on a shared key (student-class-period) between the payment records and the attendance records. These challenges were overcome, but they clearly could have been handled more efficiently if Airtable allowed data from payments to be transferred indirectly. However, since relationships i

Hello, our team is using AirTable in a Scrum environment. Each sprint we point our stories and calculate our velocity. Currently this is a manual process. Is there a way to automate in in AirTable?

I want to monitor a specific field in a table called countries that stores comma-separated country codes like “GB, US, ES, SG” etc. If the data in the field changes in some way (i.e. a new territory code appears) then I want to trigger an automation (e.g. send a slack message) but I ideally want that automation to flag exactly what changed (e.g. “TH was added to the country list of record x”). Is that possible with Airtable’s existing functionality? i.e. that you can catch the specific change that triggered the change event? Thanks for any thoughts!
