Hi everybody.My issue is the following: I have a make.com workflow in which I search for airtable records with which to perform certain actions, but it's not returning the expected result. Here's the formula I added to the airtable module in make.com:AND(DATETIME_FORMAT({var1} , "DD.MM.YYYY") <= DATETIME_FORMAT(NOW(),"DD.MM.YYYY"), {var2}, DATETIME_FORMAT({var2} , "DD.MM.YYYY") <= DATETIME_FORMAT(NOW(),"DD.MM.YYYY"), {var3}, {var3} != "N/A", {var4} != "Text", {var5}, {var6} = 0, {var7} = 0, {var8} = 0, {var9} = 1)I narrowed it down to var2 not returning the result I expect. So if var2 is "31.07.2024" and today is "01.08.2024", I get a 0, meaning Airtable is not the same opinion that yesterday is "smaller" than today. The strangest behavior. Does anyone have some advice?

I hope I'm not missing something but I'm trying to create a manual table to pull certain database numbers concisely. Basically mimic a grid of 7X4 but the numbers are huge making for unnecessary scrolling. Any advice would be appreciated or just a general sizing/formatting option beyond just colors.

Table A (Names) has a lookup field in Table B (Clubs).  I would like a field in Table B that lists all records from Table A that  looked up that particular record (club) in Table B.   In other words, I would like a field in Table B that shows all the names for a particular club.  How do I do this?

I am trying to group line items based on the below conditions, but for some reason it's not working for all the "Done" ones. It does work for the 2023 items that are marked Done in the status column, but the one 2024 item that is marked Done in the status column still returns the 2024Q3. I am building a table that creates a record for monthly billing. The billing happens on the same day each month. I have a Date Paid field and a Next Date Paid formula field, and an automation that triggers after the bill gets paid to create a new record with the Next Date Paid from the old record populating into the Date Paid field of the new record.The problem I'm having is with the DateAdd() function. My current formula is: DATEADD({Date Paid},1,'month')  I thought this would just add one to the month, but it actually just adds 30 days which means that my dates won't match up. I tried adding a field with a static number(MonthDay Paid) and doing something like: DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Date Paid},1,'month'),'M/{MonthDay Paid}/YY')  but the dynamic slug breaks the DateTime Format function and returns "8/{8thnt121amy Pami4}/24". I'm trying to automate this as much as possible so that the user doesn't need to really access the data layer much, so a

Hi All,I'm trying to set up a resource tracker using the summarise function within the timeline view.In short, I want to be able take the days associated with a task and spread these across the length of the task. So if a task takes 20 hours and the task length is a week, then the summarise function would say 4 hours for each day and would group accordingly dependent on the scale we were looking at. I'll be grouping by individual, so want to be able to get this value summed across multiple tasks. This must be what the system is doing under the utilisation function, as it'll this to compare the available days to create the percentage, but I don't seem to be able to get it to work. When I go to summarise, and go to sum, it just shows me the total number of hours and doesn't spread the amount across the days. Crucially I don't want the percentage of available time used, I just want the number of hours themselves. Thanks in advance!

Hi,I have a table for faults and a table for handymen. Each fault can have multiple handymen assigned to it, and each handyman may receive a different payment—for example, one might charge $50 while another charges $100.Is it possible to create the same fault twice in the fault table to associate the fault with each handyman and thus set a different payment for each one?I tried creating another table that connects the faults table and the handymen table, and it worked wonderfully. This allowed me to associate all the handymen with the same fault and add a "payment" column so each handyman could receive a different payment. However, when using the INTERFACER, I faced a problem: I had to fill out a form in the faults table and then another form in the table that connects the faults to the handymen.How would you solve this problem? I have a table which has the entire organization list of Key results. It does identify each Business Unit. I have another table where I have a list of projects (in the same base). I want to have a field with the projects where the person entering the data can a select the key result this project is associated with but I do not want the entire list of key results to show up, only the key results from that business unit. Is that possible?

Using the LINK TO ANOTHER RECORD field, if the desired value doesn't exist, I want to be able to create the new value through the form in the table of faults.Is this possible?

Hello all. I'm new to Airtable and I have been charged with setting up project and task management for our team. We have a team of about 10 with multiple projects and tasks that are randomly assigned based on availability and skill level. Each project has a timeline with tasks, start and end date, status and assignee. The assignee can have multiple tasks on multiple projects at any given time. My question is, do I create one base with each project as the master table or do I create a separate base for each project and sync the tasks, assignee and status. I need to have a calendar view for each assignee with all of their upcoming task due dates and ideally an overall calendar view for the team director who can see all upcoming tasks, due dates, etc. We also want to share the status with groups outside our team for each project, so the outside team can see the status of tasks and overall project status.There is another wrinkle in that help desk tickets also create tasks that are ass

My team has several hundred user profiles with personal information stored in a database with no API. We keep the personal info there, but we have an SFTP to upload CSVs for information regarding statuses and due dates on various per-profile tasks. Those CSVs land in Airtable, where I'm working to create interfaces that are a lot more user friendly than the database. The really unfortunate thing is, I need a way to track any status or date changes we make in Airtable in order for teammates to manually update that data in the database. At any one time, there will be three "truths": what the old upload previously said, what the teammate has changed it to, and what the new upload says. (I should note, the new upload will probably overwrite the old upload? I'm not sure, I haven't set it up yet as I'm designing the base with fake data.)I can't wrap my head around the best way to do this. I could:1. Hello,I am trying to set up an automation that sends an email when a record is updated, but only if it is updated via our Mini Extensions add on.We ask people to submit via an Airtable form with information that is TBC, and when the record is created, we can ask people to update anything via Mini Extensions so that they don't have to log in or have an Airtable account.It would be great to know when someone has updated the record through the Mini Extensions form, as currently I can only set up an automation when a record is changed at all - this would be inappropriate as we are updating the records ourselves all the time.The condition options in automations for 'send an email > when a record is updated > if conditions are met' do not have the condition I am hoping for; any advice appreciated.Cheers

Hello. I am trying to send Gmail attachments I receive automatically to an attachments column in Airtable. I finally realized that Airtable wants the URL in array form, which I can do. However, I have not figured out how to use the array functions toArray, map, or add to append the files instead of overwriting and keeping the last one. I have searched and read numerous posts in both the Make and Airtable communities. This is my most recent attempt at make.com.My ultimate goal is to allow students to email their attachments and have them appear in the portal I built with Softr.I feel like I am so close. i have a button field that run a script, i need to get tha field id(recordId) after press the button in the script, in some examples they recommend to use recordAsync(), but i have to chose the record, and i need to get it after press the button

My workflow is based on priority levels, so I'm trying to create a "Due date" field based on the last time a record was updated. What am I doing wrong is there a better way to create this date? 

I've created on a base a table template with several formulas that I'd like to duplicated for the various projets that I managed but when I try to copy / sync  the table to another base, all my formulas are not transfered and the columns with the Formula Field Type are changed to a Number Field type.Is there an automatic way to copy the formulas or do I have to manually copy/paste them on each new base ? I've left some some images for reference, as you can see the field type is completely different and dont include my formulas.Thanks,

Hi! I have a task table with a Status field and a Completed Date field. I'm trying to create an automation to update the Completed Date field when the Status changes to Done. Wondering if there is a way to add the date that the status was changed to Done in the Completed Date field. For instance, if I change the status to Done today, the date in the Completed Date field should be timestamped with today's date 5/24/23. I added screenshots of my automation flow ... as you'll see I am not sure what to use in the update fields configuration page. I read somewhere that I can use Today () but that doesn't seem right in the automation. What should I do here, and is it even possible? Thanks! 

Hey there,I have a linked records field with 4 lookup fields that look up content from another table. I created an automation to automatically put in the Teacher tame into the linked field so that it finds the matching record and populates the fields. I then get the error: Field "Teacher" cannot accept the provided value: Cannot modify a computed field. I'm not modifying the teacher field through the automation but a field called PARTNERS Lookup, which in turn should automatically populate the "Teacher" field (and a few others). I'm not sure why this isn't working. Any help would be appreciated!     

I need to ask my developers to turn a table into an XML feed, but I can’t find any web pages that explains how they would start. Does anyone have any suggestions, so that I can submit more than “Turn this Airtable” into an XML feed. They have never worked with Airtable before so want to provide as much detail as possible.

Hi, I need to export data from Airtable into a XML file so I can upload it to a reporting body. Is there a way to do this? If not, can anyone recommend a reputable app to convert the CSV file to XML, its sensitive data so I am not sure about using a free online converter. Thanks

In actual databases, I can explicitly define which table holds the linked column, e.g., Table A has a foreign key field to Table B. So, if I look directly at Table B by itself, I wouldn't know that it has a relationship with Table A. But that's okay, because Table B isn't supposed to hold that information itself.But in Airtable, I noticed that when I put a linked field in Table A to Table B, instantly that field also appears in Table B. While that's very useful and helpful to understand the bigger picture of how things are interconnected, now I no longer know which table was the original one that established that relationship.The purpose that I need to know this is to transform an Airtable base into an SQL database schema, so I need to know the "native" fields of each table. Any tips, or anything I missed?

Hi,I have a table of assets, faults, professionals and suppliers. Every time a fault is over, an email is sent to the customer (automation of email sending). Each property can have several malfunctions, each malfunction can have several professionals who handled the malfunction and several suppliers through whom we bought products to handle the malfunction. In the table of professionals there is the private bank account of each professional and the same also in the table of suppliers. Is there a way that if the fault is over and 2 professionals have repaired it and we have bought materials to treat the fault from 2 suppliers, the customer will be sent an email in the following format: Hi (customer's name), please transfer payment for the fault's termination to (professional 1) to the following bank account details: Bank - xxxxx branch - xxxxx bank account number - xxxxxx In addition, please transfer payment for (professional 2) to the following bank account details: Bank - xxxxx branch
