Is there a UI to build a formula and get the resulting formula? The formula builder for creating views is useful, but I can't seem to find a way to get the formula out of it.Context: I'm trying to build a formula that filters records by 2 fields, an email field and a date field. What I have so far is: `AND({Notary 1 email (email)} = '${email}', IS_AFTER({Appt Date/Time (date)}, TODAY())` but the Airtable API request fails with a cryptic error: "The formula for filtering records is invalid: Invalid formula. Please check your formula text."

Hi. I'm working on creating an AirTable base with complaints. The form is made with Fillout.I wanted to know if it's possible to restrict access to a record if the user selects a certain option in a single select field. We'll have several people having access to the base and I wonder if I can hide certain records for an user A when a single select field has a specific option chosen.Thank you.

I want to create a form that users can fill out to enter an awards. When they fill out the form, if their company or contact details already exist on the 'companies' or 'contacts' tables, I want them to be able to select this when they search. If their company or contact details do not exist, I want them to be able to enter their details so their company and contact details are entered on to the 'companies' and 'contacts' tables. This I can do. However, on the 'contacts' tables, all contact names are linked to a company on the 'companies' table, and vice versa. On the '2024 entries' table, if you enter a new 'contact name' this gets added to the 'contacts table'. If you enter a new 'company' this gets added to the 'companies' table. However, the contact name is then not associated with the company name on the 'companies' table, and the company is not associated with the contact name on the 'contacts' table. Is there a way to have it so when using the form to en

HelloWe have 2 phases of work:Phase 1 is working on what we call "First Pages." Job sub-status = NEWPhase 2 is everything after that. Once marketing returns the job to the designer, Job sub-status = CORRECTIONSI'm looking for a way to automate the change of the sub-status field from NEW to CORRECTIONS.My thought is to have a field called "FIRST PAGES COMPLETE?" and an automation runs to fill that field with "yes" when the conditions are met. Then, if field = "yes" change sub-status accordingly.I'm having trouble figuring out how to track the proper conditions because I'm looking to track a change between very specific options in the "Status" field. Not just when the record is updated in general.I need the automation to look at the "Status" field and analyze when it changes from "In Progress - Design" to either "In Progress - Marketing" or "with Client"Best way to do that?

Hello to the community,I have a form dedicated to archiving interactions with prospects. In this form, I select a "company" (which calls the company table) and I select a "contact" (which calls the contacts table).My wish is as follows: when a company is selected, I want the results displayed in the "contact" field to be only the contacts who work there. Currently, all contacts are displayed and appear in the drop-down menu, which wastes time.The contact/company association is well performed in my tables, but I don't see an option that allows me to limit the fields to be displayed according to a selection in the airtable form creation tool.Any ideas?Thanks in advance,Damien

Hi everyone !I've encountered difficulties in validating the search for an ID. I believe there must be an error in my formula because, after integrating logs to ensure that I was correctly comparing the searched ID with the ID present in the table and the relevant column, I noticed that we have a match, but the formula generates a 'false' instead of a 'true'. Does anyone see my mistake?Thank you

Issue with Linking Payments to Attendance in AirtableHi!I’m transitioning from managing a dance school in Google Sheets to Airtable and have encountered an issue when trying to link student payments with their attendance. I need the administrative staff to be able to see if a student has paid for a specific class in the corresponding period (month) when recording attendance, or if they owe for that month. I am using Make.com - Airtable - Update records. I have 5 different modules all returning the same 404 response,  using the outh accessIt locates the base and the table, searching for the primary IDContacted support, sent links and images. No response yet.After some search, 404 errors apparently show up. Airtable did an update in make.comAnyone else having this problem? How do I base my business on this happing?Thanks in advance   

Airtable Newbie here!  I have an email automation that sends me a reminder when an item in my airtable is approaching the due date.  I want to have a field (due date) appear in the email to be in red, so that it i see it clearly.  Can I do that in Airtable?  If so, how do I write it or where do I write that? Is it surrounding the field name in the body of the email?It should look like this:The records are due to the requester on August 5, 2024.

Hello, I am working on integrating my google calendar with my airtable base so that I can include all of the meetings that I have with members of my contact list on their contact profile as a linked record to the calendar table. I created an automation to do this for me (see below). The issue that I have found is that when more than 1 of the contacts that are added to the calendar invite for the meeting is found within my big "Contacts" table, it will grab the unique IDs for both of the contacts and it goes to add my calculated field (the first one in the image below, my primary field, and the only field that I want to add), to my synced calendar "Contacts" field within my calendar table. The problem is the automation tries to update the linked contacts (eg. "Arjin Claire, Evolution") in this "Contacts" tab, but it throws an error when more than 1 are being added. I believe it reads each of these contacts as being concatenated together and since the value is calculated v

Why I cant reply to actionable messages on Slack?  When clicking in slack I always keep receiving the same reply."You do not have access to this Airtable record, or it has been deleted" Thats impossible as Im the owner of the base and workspace. How may I fix this? Thanks

I’m trying to auto-create a record when an interface button is clicked. This can be done by linking a button to an automation. In the new record I want to store the user who clicked the button. Is this possible?

I’m trying to use the Ceiling function to round a function result up to the nearest quarter, so 0.25. But my results are only rounding to the next 0.10. How do I get it to always round up to the nearest .25, .50, .75, .00? It works like this in Excel but can’t seem to get it to work in airtable.

I have two tables with the same fieldsTable 1. Current Data (Read-only)Table 2. Proposed Draft (Read/Write)I want users to be able to edit records in the second table. Interface designer says "nothing is published" and does not give any action to continue on interface design. It only displays the error message. 

Kanban view allows one field to be selected on Stacked by option. Is that possible to select multiple fields? I have a table called budget. In grid view, I can group the record using multiple fields but the same is not possible.Budget table has property name, budget cycle, budget status, budget name, ....10 other fields. In grid view I have grouped the records using group by option.In the kanban view, allows a single field only to be stacked. But I need multiple filed like grid view 

The problem is, for example when creating a new table from import, and having fields with 0s and 1s, it imports. then you change the field type to checkbox, and everything works.Now, if you already have those fields as checkbox, and delete all the data from the table for ex, then import back in, the fields doesn't recognize the data and every checkbox field is just blank. the system should already determine when importing back the data to map correctly to the checkbox type field. and dont omite data.Best regards, Lorenzo  

Hello! I have the below table that list Rooms with the associated Furniture and Accessories that belong in them. I would like to be able to filter on a field in a separate table for Client ID. The thing is because I’m keeping track of Rooms over time for each client, multiple Client ID names display when I link the below table to the other table for Client ID. I tried to filter on 1 particular client’s name for Client ID, I could also see the other clients that have used the same type of furniture pieces. I only want to see information for 1 person. I hope this makes sense. Is there a way to make this happen?

HI, I want to be able to select multiple records in a base and update a field in all selected records. I’m thinking this will probably need a script where I can enter a value and then push a button to update all selected records with that value. Has anyone done this or have an idea to get me started please? Thanks
