Earlier today, I deleted some value options from one of my single-select fields (Team Type) in one of my tables - I did not do anything else like delete the field, change its type, or change any field permissions. Now in the Interface builder, a Grid element linked to that table is grayed out with the error message "Field "Team Type" was changed and can no longer be selected". I have hidden and unhidden Team Type from the grid Fields list, and gone into Edit it and then Saved it without making further changes, but nothing I've tried is working. I made this change a while ago, so it is impossible to go back and literally undo the actual option deletion action I did, and the change is necessary for our data so I don't want to return the data to its previous state anyway. Does anyone know what is happening here and how I can restore my grid? Thank you for anything you can offer!

Hey there, I have a automation setup in a client database that is triggered by me changing the status and then sending a calculation to a customer with a link to a reference check interface form, because there are so many people who need their references checked with this form we need to put in the name of the candidate and the reference prefilled in the form. (due to privacy issues we cant have them searching up their name btw)I created a claculation that has the form link and then the url prefilled instructions for the names for the ref and candidate. It brings up the candidate most of the time but the reference not really, Im not sure if its because the reference is in a different table but Ive used the 'prefill_Reference%20Name=Reference Name' and ' prefill_Reference%20Name=Reference RECORD ID' (In the appropriate code ofc) and it works some of the time. I find that when I clear cookies in my browsers it works but I was wondering what the real issue is because I need the Names

Hi there, I'm having issues with an Automation that I've set up anytime a record is updated between Airtables that are all within the same Workspace and have been granted the same permissions at a Workspace level. I'm getting a message that says the update failed due to insufficient permissions.  However, each Airtable belongs to the space workspace and has the same group permissions. Anyone know how I get support on troubleshooting this complex issue?

Probably a simple solution, but I can not figure it out. I am using the following script to try to get a list of all of the records in a specific table.let table = base.getTable("Codes");let query = await table.selectRecordsAsync();console.log (query) When I run this, I get the following error O: No field with ID fldwfud1d0wv3rdVD in table 'Codes' at main on line 2When I run this same coding using one of the other tables, it works as expected. Any ideas on how to fix this? It is getting in the way of the larger script I am trying to write.

Hi Friends! Can someone please help me with this? I manage a small team of 3 members. Let's say I have 3 tables: 1. Projects, 2.Tasks and 3.Subtasks (linked with one another).So I have an interface where each user can see everyday the projects, tasks and subtasks asigned or due for that certain day.I want a way to track productivity, or what have been done each day by each user, in someway that is simple and ideally automated.Do any of you have any idea of the structure I must follow to accomplish this?Thanks in advance

Fairly new to Airtable, so big picture question:I have a table with all records of product type (Master List)I have a second table with similar record fields, not identical (Inventory)I need to create a new record in inventory when an action is taken (button click in master list?) which will bring over relevant data but not all.Help please! 😂

I have created an interface in Airtable. I want to disable the inline edit option and enable the add/delete record inline. Are there any possibilities to do this?I must enable inline edit records when a table value field is "Yes". Otherwise, it should be disabled. But I found that is not possible. Then When expanding the record from the interface edit form appears on the right side, hiding/showing the visibility of some fields based on condition.But disabling edit inline records in interface settings Add/delete inline option is automatically disabled. Hi there, This question is for the Airtable team. I see that you are using browserify to bundle the block code, would love to also be able to bundle external css files with the block, instead of loading them asynchronously using loadCSSFromURLAsync (which also makes development and deployment more complex). There are quite a few browserify transformation packages that can make that happen, but I haven’t been able to make them work so far, when trying to control browserify transformations from the package.json file. Here are the packages I tried / found so far: brfs - doesn’t work with es6 modules brfs-babel - doesn’t do the transform, for some reason, even when i add {"browserify": {"transform": ["brfs-babel"] } } to package.json browserify-css - haven’t tried it yet Using loadCSSFromString and providing the css itself isn’t the correct way since then I can’t easily edit it as css in a code editor or share it between blocks. Would love to know how Airtable would recommend doing this.

What I am trying to do is change the Status of a Project once the Status of all six associated tasks (in separate tables) are set to complete. I tried doing a formula approach with calculation fields (count) using this formula below (but the formula in the field gets cut in half once I save and close so its useless). I asked support if there was a character limit but they could not even answer that simple question.I am not married to the formula approach, in fact I'd rather not do it that way and have 13 extra fields in the Project record. I need to create a formula (or find some other way) to keep track of changes to individual cells in "column A" via a second column that auto-populates with first entries in column A but does not change if column A changes after that. So for example:  Column A = Project Start DateWhere a user manually enters the date they begin a project.Column B = Original Project Start DateWhere it auto-populates with all existing dates in Column A + new dates added to empty cellsBut does not update itself when a user manually changes the date in Column A after that. The goal is to be able to allow users to adjust or move out their start dates as needed but also keep a record of what the original date was without adding any other manual steps. I really hope this makes sense! TYIA for any help or ideas! 

Hi, We are looking for ways to pull data from our Linnworks.NET account (basically and order and inventory management platform) to Airtable. So far we have been using MiniExtensions to import csv files with data exported from Linnworks to Dropbox or FTP server. This has worked well, but MiniExtenions have a limit of 10 instances of their csv import app, meaning that we are limited in the type of data we can import. We have already hit this limit. I realise that the best solution for transferring data would be via api, but I am not yet very familiar yet with writing api calls. The big stumbling block to this going ahead, from what I can see, is managing Linnworks Authorization. Linnworks Developer Resources - API Home My question is a general one. Does Airtable scripting allow means to acquire auth tokens and use them in subsequent calls to Linnworks.NET for data, or would we need a 3rd party app as a go between? Hi,What are the best tools to integrate instagram with airtable?We would like that an automation reads our instagram DMs,gets the data (contact phone numbers, etc), and automatically inputs it into our airtable base of instagram-leads. 

I realized that the sync is not performed if you are not logged. I have a sync’ed table and an automation associated to this table triggered when a records enters a view. Unfortunatelly, it is not triggered unless i sing up and the sync takes place. Is that right? For sure i can solve the issue changing the automation to the source table. Hw, this source table it is so big and i d rather do the other way. Thanks!!

Hi,I have seen a few posted questions that are similar to my scenario, but I need more specific assistance. I am trying to update my Appointments grid view records when someone cancels their appointment that they've scheduled through Calendly. I have tried to create the right formulas for record look up in Zapier and Airtable Automations, but they keep coming up empty. In Zapier, it looks like it might be a multi-step search which is only available on paid plans and I really don't want to have to pay for another subscription to do what might be possible in Airtable alone. Please help! Longtime Airtable user, but limited experience with Interfaces.My regular workflow has three browser windows open at once:Window 1: Shows the fields of one record from Table AWindow 2: Shows a filtered view of the records in Table BWindow 3: Shows a filtered view of the records in Table CIs there a way to create a single interface to show these things?

I am building a web application for my students using Node.js/Express that displays information from an Airtable base.  Instead of embedding a table of news stories, I want to pull several fields from the table and insert them into the DOM so I can design the display of information. I've been able to send 3, 5, 10 stories to the console, but when I try to send a second story to display on a web page, I keep running into this error:  TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'offset') which points to part of airtable.js that compares result.offset with params.offset. I've tried to find an offset in the json but I don't see the key or values beginning with itr.I tried to call record.offset but it is undefined.Several community posts about offset explain how to find more than the maximum 100 records, but I'm getting stuck on the second record.I found Offset property missing in API response as an open issue on Github from 2021, so maybe

I have a linked table called "Voucher Codes" and as you can see from the attached screenshot, I can click the + and select a voucher code from this linked table and assign it to a record in the Order Fulfillment table. This is great, it works, however it shows everything in the view "Available" in the "Voucher Codes" table.  Is there a way I can have it ONLY show voucher codes in the "Available" view if it matches the "Course" field in the "Order Fulfillment" table as the attached screenshot shows? For example, if the Course says ITIL 4 Foundation w/TAKE2, it should only show voucher codes that are titled ITIL 4 Foundation w/TAKE2.  And if it the Course says ITIL 4 Foundation, it should only show voucher codes that are titled ITIL 4 Foundation, and so on. Is this possible?

I would really like the ability to group related tabs within a base - it would make our database so much tidier and easier to navigate. Thus far I can see no such function. Does it exist, and if not, how can I suggest such a function to them? 

I have an extensions that use useCursor, useLoadable, and useWacthable. I am able to run an extension application and get the correct entry id to generate what I need to. I’ve seen the many posts advertising a shortcut product, but it is rather expensive (and due to the nature of the product, I can’t test it first). I really don’t want to leave Airtable, but the inability to save websites from Safari to a table has become a deal breaker for me (use case: student research project). I don’t need it to be super fancy, simply saving the URL and page title is enough... does anyone have a working solution?Alternatively, if someone can point me in the direction of an easy to understand tutorial on how to create a shortcut for this, I would be grateful.Thanks 🙂  

I think this is a fairly straightforward process, but I am unable to figure out how to do this. I have 2 excel sheets imported. One is Product Master List, one is Inbound Shipment. The Product Master List contains Code, Product Name, UOM, while Inbound Shipment contains Delivery Number, Code, and shipping date. I just need to add a lookup field in the Inbound Shipment, to look into the Product Master List for the Product Name. Just want to make sure I'm not crazy, because it sure seems like extra work for what could be available .
