I did some searching but wanted to be certain since I’m still relatively new to the scripting block. Does anyone know if there is a way to create new views? My use case is that I currently manually create a suite of views each time I add a new client and/or project. For every project I will have an All view that shows everything about it, then an Open view that only shows stuff that’s currently being worked on, an Invoice view that gives me a summary of the tasks that need to be invoiced to make my invoicing faster, etc. Currently I have template views that I duplicate and update the related filters to have it show the right records. I’d love to automate this with the scripting block, but I don’t see a way to create new views from script. Am I missing something? Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks!

Hello!There are a LOT of posts regarding the popular error of "Received Invalid Input" but in my search I didn't find anything that was specific to the conditional logic of the automation being the area that returned the error.I've created a video to show how the conditional logic works when the list properties length = 1, but if it = 0, then the conditional logic check returns the "Received Invalid Input" error. Any help is appreciated.

It would be nice to be able to control the size of long text fields in interface designer. When I'm typing long notes such as "rapport" notes or "project overview notes" in interface designer, it automatically resizes the box according to the length of the note. So as my notes get longer, everything below the Long Text field gets pushed further down the screen. Having a resizing option and a scroll bar inside of the interface designer text box would solve the issue for me.

Filing this as a bug here because the message support help bot thing is completely uselessI've noticed for a few months now that if you have a bar chart, turned horizontal, with record values turned on then it doesn't display the largest number, which looks kind of rubbish. The form builder allows the creation of groups of fields which are separated by a horizontal rule on the form.Is there a way to control visibility of the entire group, including the horizontal rule, rather than controlling visibility of individual fields within the group?Assuming the answer is no, is there a way to disable the extraneous horizontal rule when none of the fields in the group are visible?Thanks!

I feel like what I want to do is very simple, but honestly, I'm wasting a lot of time without succeeding. My level of incompetence is quickly reached.So, I have in my Table 1 a Date field and a field that I'll call field N. In my Table 2, there is also a Date field and a Number field.I want AirTable to find the corresponding Date in Table 2 for each record in Table 1, then return the Number field and enter it in the N field of Table 1.I've been searching for the function, but I can't find it. Does anyone know how to do this?"

I made a massive mistake when doing some updates to a base, so I figured I'd restore a snap shot. I created a snapshot copy of the base, and deleted the original. This has just compounded my issue because all my data syncing to other bases is totally messed up. This also impacts several automations i've created to work around the fact that my company wont shell out for two way sync features. What a headache. It seems to me this wouldn't be an issue if I were able change the source link to my sync set up to the snapshot base, but alas I get the following error.HELP!!!!

Hello, I’ve been trying to work this out for hours but I’m afraid my knowledge of airtable formulas is quite nascent. I’ve got this current formula: IF( {Due}="", “”, IF( AND( DATETIME_DIFF({Due},TODAY(),‘hours’) >= 12, DATETIME_DIFF({Due},TODAY(),‘hours’) <= 48 ), “Due Soon”, IF( IS_BEFORE({Due},TODAY()), “Past Due”, IF( IS_SAME({Due},TODAY()), “Due Today”, “Upcoming” ) ) ) ) Which gives me different values depending on how much time is left in the “Due” column. I’m trying to add another variable that says that if checkbox column “Done” is ticked, disregard all the above formula and return value “Complete”. How can I go about doing this please?

Hello,I have a table containing information about clients: surname, first name, end date, etc., as well as the number of hours sold. In another table, I have the tasks for each customer with the number of hours used.I've created an interface that summarises the job information by customer. At the moment, I need to filter by customer to display all the tasks, but I also want to see the number of hours sold directly in this interface.However, to obtain this information, I need to apply two filters:Filter 1 on the Tasks table to select the customer. Filter 2 on the Customers table to retrieve the hours sold. Is there a solution to avoid having to filter twice?

I have been trying to develop a formula to output the amount of work hours between two date/time fields. This is for a base that has Time Off requests for employees.I have a field with a start date like this (9/16/2024 10:00am) and a field with an end date like this (9/28/2024 3:00pm). My team and I are really really disappointed that two-way sync is locked behind Enterprise.  We've been waiting for that feature since it was announced last October.  In the blog post they said "Two-way sync is currently in limited availability for Enterprise customers. It will be available more broadly in early 2023," which, at least to me, implied that it would be available to more than just Enterprise.We have a lot of pretty complicated workflows here, and a few hacky workarounds to make two-way sync happen and it's a massive headache.  Two way sync would help us a LOT and it's fking infuriating that it's just, not an option for us.  We can't afford the $10,000 a sales rep told us it would cost to use Enterprise, plus we were told there's

Up until yesterday, when I changed a filtering option, the table would automatically update. Now it doesn't and I have to hit apply to see the changes.I use filtering a lot to test my data - I look at a summation field and check, for example, what is the result when field X >1? >2? Etc. With the filtering dynamically updating whenever I changed it, I'd get instant feedback. Now it's a real chore, not only do I have to hit apply, but the filter box goes away and I have to reopen it, go to my filter choice, and enter my next value to test. Am I missing something? Is this an intentional update? Thanks!

I have created a record review interface to review projects, projects tasks, and click into the task to mark it complete. In my interface it shows my list of projects on the left hand column, with the selected project data in the main section. Within this project there are assigned tasks which display on the interface. I need to be able to display these sorted by order. I am not seeing the functionality to do this. Is there a way to have the "project"  "tasks" display on the interface based on their "order" assigned to them? The tasks are setup in a "tasks template" base. So that when I create a new "project" matching a "type" of project, an automation runs and it pulls all the tasks associated with the project. Because these are pulled via an automation, they are called at random and not sorted in any particular order.  I was thinking I could break down the create tasks step into multiple steps filtered to only call "order" = 1, "order" = 2, "order

Created a simple form to submit a work order for repair services. User selects services needed from multi-select field. What is the best way to extract the services and create a line item for each service selected so that I can auto populate an estimate in quickbooks?I was thinking about creating a new table called "billable items" and have a script run when the form is submitted to create a line item for each invoice while still including the customer information submitted on the form in each line item.  Example Form SubmittedAirtable record createdscript runs creating 1 record per service requested in a separate tableeach line sent to QB for estimate creation Will this work? HiI'm using the Resource Allocation template that Airtable created as a guide for my own version of a team resources tracker. Problem is, our jobs have many different levels of effort required depending on what's being requested. I think I have it set up in a decent way to allow for that, but in testing, it's looking like it's too cumbersome to have someone fill in the estimated amount of time required EVERY single time the job comes in, especially for revisions. For example:Initial layout of the job may take 8 hours. When that same job comes back in for revisions (which can be numerous times) each time the amount of effort required will vary. Could be a quick fix, 15 minutes. Could be a partial re-do, 3 hours.  Any suggestions on how to best automate populating the time required field, for each time revisions come in? Hey All.I have an interface setup and there are fields that I only want visible by certain users.  There's a collab field with certain members assigned to the records.  I thought this would limit the field based on just those collabs, however everyone can still see it, including me.  The idea is for example, fields with Ed's name visibility is filtered by Ed, and Julie.  They are the only ones that should see it.    Any ideas?   

Hi all! I have a two-way sync enabled between two bases. On the source base I have enabled edits from the target base, and I am able to add individual records on the target base and have these show up on the source base. However, the Import CSV extension shows an error that says I cannot create new records in the target base.I am 100% sure it's not a settings problem in the sync because I am able to add individual new records on the target base. Can anyone advise? Is this just a bug on the extension?Thanks in advace!Alex

I manage an instance of SF at a company of 50+ employees. I would like to build an airtable base that generally mirrors it, but is better, and then establish a sync between the base I build and Salesforce. Has anyone done anything like this? Was the documentation helpful enough for me to rely on it to do a project like this?

Hi, I coud use some help on what I think is a relatively simple few concepts.I have a base called "Sales Pipeline" where I am tracking:Deal Name (Acme, Inc)Pipeline Stage (intro, qualified, opportunity etc)Opportunity Status (active, lost, won)Let's say there are 100 total records, each with a Deal Name, a Pipeline Stage and an Opp StatusI'd like to be able to: Calculate the Intro to Qualified conversion % (so if we've had 100 records at the "Intro Stage" and 62 have converted to the "Qualified" stage, then we should show a 62% conversion)Same for Qualified to Opportunity etcSimilarly, I want to be able reflect the Opportunity Status conversion % as well. So for example, if we have 100 records that entered the funnel at the "Intro" Stage, and 62 converted to "Qualified" but since then 32 of those have an Opportunity Status of "Lost", we'd really only want to reflect an Intro > Qualified (A

I paid the annual $240 fee that covers me from July 2024-2025 but in August I was charged $461. Is there both an annual membership plus collaborator fee? I'm not understanding the remaining time/un-used time and why I was charged so much. We have tried to request a refund as we never intended to pay this much but I was told it would only be credited to our account? How can I resolve this? We had 1 additional collaborator that I removed to make sure so we now only have 1 collaborator (myself) on all bases. Anyone experience something similar?

Hi Everyone,I'm very new to Airtable and anything like it. I am trying to create a base that captures our firm's new clients and tracks their onboarding process. The problem I'm having is that a new client can go through different/multiple processes depending on the service relationship(s). For example, one client can have 3 different service relationships at the same time and all 3 may share multiple onboarding stages but also have stages that are distinct to the service relationship.I would like a base where I can enter in the client's name and select the appropriate service relationship(s). Each service relationship will have it's onboarding stages, with the correct assigned staff to complete the task. Each service will also designate what forms are required. Everyone can see where a new client is in the process for situational awareness and also know when they have a task to complete.
