Hi, I'm new to automations on Airtable and am facing an unusual error:"Name is "foo", Invalid filter on Email (Invalid choice name or id: foo@bar.baz)"My "Find records" step has two conditions (OR), attempting to match on "Name" or "Email".Here you can see a successful test, when a match is found:It is also successful when no match is found, BUT when only "name" is used, and not both name and email, finding 0 results (expected behaviour).  BUT when adding the email condition bac, when there are no matches, it gives the error: This seems like a bug to me, can you advise? I’ve added Multiple Select field to my base. In the Fields section on the API page it displays all the Possible Values this Multiple Select field as an array. Is there a way to grab this Possible Values array upfront or do I have to loop through the records and build this array based on each record’s selected value(s)?

I want to have a select field with a couple of options for clients that need a subscription. Like: "1 month subscription", "2 month subscription", ... . This would ideally convert the answer into a 31 day duration field that can then be used in a date dependency to calculate the end date for the subscription. Is this possible?I already figured out that i can convert it to duration using a formula field but then i can't use it in a date dependency...

To any formula ninjas, A column has multiple keywords/values. I need to add a pre-fix before each of the values. From: column: Colour values: White, Black, Blue To: add the prefix “Colour_” to each one of the values in the colour values: Colour_White, Colour_Black, Colour_Blue I created another column with the prefix Colour_, and then a basic concat, but the result is (of course): Colour_White, Black, Blue I don’t know how to add the prefix to each of the values individually, and if concat is the right formula. Detail: not all columns will have a value, so need to consider an empty cell. If anyone has a good idea… much appreciate it ! Christie

Hi,I find myself needing to change at least single select values, and would like to know if there's a way to do that without breaking automations and interfaces?I e.g. have names of event types that I need to change, for example from "Discovery" to "Discovery call" or status kind of values like "Ready" to "Ready for invoicing". Any of these are used in interfaces and automations as discriminating variables to either activate automations or filter what is shown.When attempting to edit one, I get a warning of dependencies, but I can't understand whether the update would actually break the listed dependencies.Thankful for any help how to do this safely. I have a ton of changes to make....Rgds,Björn

Hi, we track which topics will be posted to social media mainly in calendar view in Airtable. Ex. Have "receipe" show up every Wednesday on the calendar instead of having to input the date manually. Any suggestion on how to accomplish that? 

I’m comparing two currency values in a table, and attempting to flag if there is a mismatch. The way I’d do this in gSheets is pretty obvious: =IF(field1 = field2, TRUE, FALSE) - then conditionally format on TRUE or FALSE to get a visual indicator. I actually like that there is no range-based conditional formatting in airtable, since these are meant to be DBs - but I still think a coherent display of true/false values (As a checkbox!) is reasonable and I shockingly don’t see a way to do that here. Yes, I could do something idiotic like represent it with an emoji, but that’s a nasty hack if I want to query for items in my table whose cost-match is FALSE. Thanks!

Hello! My gmail automation email is going to spam. I created an auto responder using gmail and airtable automation. All my emails are going straight to spam. Is there a fix for this ?

I am looking at a way to deplete inventory of items when adding a kit to inventory. For example:I have 1 kit that contains 2 A's 4 B's, and 1 C. SO when I add a kit to my inventory, it removes 2 A's, 4 B's, and 1 C. How would I make this work? Thank you for any help.

Do some templates simply have additional functions that cannot be replicated?For example this sorting function: Or the ability to call up a form without being redirected to a new URL.Or the option to choose between list and timeline. I would love to have these functions.BestMirko 

I have some interfaces that would be so much cleaner and user friendly in the new interface formats if there was a way to show summary details, and then add a button action that opens a side sheet for detailed view/editing of additional data.Is this possible, either through current feature sets or workarounds? I know i can open a side sheet if there is a linked record to click on, but in some cases there is too many linked records so i want to hide them and be able to open sidesheet exposing all details of those linked records as a view. Adding them as a view within main interface makes it clunky.

Hi all,When someone submits a form, I already know we have a relatively empty record that exists for that submission. I want an automation to do the following:Trigger: When a form is submittedAction 1: Find a record by matching phone numbers in the table to the form submission.Action 2: Update the record in the table with the new information submitted on the form (5+ fields, some of the fields are drop-downs and some are free text). In my test, it all seemed to go well, and then when we actually submitted something, it stopped working.

Hello,As the title implies I am looking for an automation to catch records created by a form and notify via email when there is a discontinuity from the last submission. For example if the miles entered on a particular vehicle in the last submission were 101 but the next submission starts at 101.3, an email is sent to notify of the discontinuity.Thanks!

I have a script that I'm having difficulties with. The script is part of an automation block which is triggered by a new record being added to a table called Projects. This record in the projects field has some info about it, (how many episodes, series number, etc) but crucially, has a multi-select field. The automation is supposed to look at the trigger record, which has a field for how many 'episode' records it should create, and then makes the episode records and links them back to the project. It is supposed to also copy the multi-select entries that are in the triggering record and make them the same in the newly created 'episode' records. But it seems to be failing at that, and I'm getting an error: Error: Field "fldYr1BVOeRj2DLLz" cannot accept the provided value. at main on line 43 Can anyone see from the script what might be the issue. The field mentioned above is the 'Elements to create' field in the episodes table. Here's the script: let inputConf

1. Say you have 2 pages in Airtable interface (page 1 and page2)2. The actions a user needs to take are located in different 2 grids,  respectively located on page 1 and page 23. Currently we need to set the filter manually in Page 1 and again manually in Page 2.Is there a way/workaround to retain the filter parameters set up in Page 1 when navigating to Page 2?Apparently we cannot pass parameters to filters via URL parameters either 😕😕

If I have Filter Tabs enabled and I click 'Add records,' if I don't manually populate the fields that the filter is using, the record is filtered out of view immediately after it is created.It might be useful to have the fields and values specified in the current tab's filter automatically applied to the new record I created, at least as an option. I think in many cases this would be a more intuitive behaviour for users.

I have a dropdown in an interface form to select a record - is there a way to sort those records? Right now they are sorted randomly...

I have created a timeline that summarizes the data. Different ranges are colour coded based on conditions like less then 50 is light blue, between 100 and 200 is orange and anything above 200 is red. This means that values between 50 and 100 are not coloured.  The values are based on calculations in the grid view and sometimes they produce Infinity. This is desired as we want them to show as infinity instead of blank when people miss doing the data entry and we find the infinity makes this very obvious in the timeline view. Is there a way to define a condition that when the value is equal to infinity is become purple? 

I have two tables in my Airtable database: "Interfaces" and "Participants Backend V1". In the "Interfaces" table, I have columns like "int_Email", "int_Name", "int_Dance Course", and "int_Today's Date" (Ceckbox). The "Participants Backend V1" table contains columns like "bac_Email", "bac_01.01.2024", "bac_02.01.2024", etc... "bac_31.12.2024"I am looking for a script that does the following:Look through every row in the table "Interfaces"When a row in the "Interfaces" table has the "int_Today's Date" checkbox checked, the value in the "int_Tanzkurs" column of that row should be read.This read value should then be entered into the "Participants Backend V1" table in the row with the same email and the columne of today's date (for today it would be the column "bac_01.05.2024").If there is already a value in that cell, the new dance courses should be added with commas separated.Does anybody have a recommendation? Hi! Thanks for any help.Not sure what is causing this. I set up an automation to send an email when a field is updated to a certain value.The email is sent but the data from the specified fields are not included and there is an error. Here is the email:-----Subject: New Potential LCR:  - $ - #ERROR!This was just added as a planned LCR expenditure.Estimated Amount: $ Estimated Date: #ERROR!Vendor: Vehicle:-----So there should be data pulled from the fields for each of items. I also don't know why there is an error.The data in the actual table records is there and seems OK. Here is what it looks like:So the data exists, but it's not included, and the estimated date is generating an error. Otherwise the email is being sent.Thanks for any help! 

Hi all!I've created an automated email and am trying to include our company logo as a footer.The code I've used in the input is: <img width="200" height="50" src="https://www.the-page.co.uk/psoostoo/2022/05/The-Page-LOGO-2048x486.png">In the preview, this works perfectly (see image), but when I ran a test to my own email address, the image didn't render and I just saw a grey box (see other image).Any idea on what I'm doing wrong or what the issue may be?Thanks!

Hi there— Grateful for your help in figuring this out.I have a single select dropdown field in one cell. If a user selects an option in that dropdown field, I'd like the cell next to it to replace the text based on whatever is selected. So in the screenshot, if someone selects "Brown" in the dropdown, I'd like the cell to the right to show just the text "Color Theme D". Is there some kind of IF statement or formula I can use in that new cell?
