Hi everyone,I'm relatively new to Airtable, and I need to automate a simple report that aggregates metrics within an Airtable base then emails it to users. Here's some examples of the performance metrics I want to calculate:Total A IDs generated (there are multiple kinds of IDs)A ID "win" rate (i.e. when IDs = A,  and winner = TRUE)CTR increase per minMost winning ID B/C/D -- (ex: D by XX% over B and by XX% over C)Total testing time: XXX minsAvg testing time: XXX mins/testI've setup the initial framework of the automation (i.e. sourcing the table and emailing it users), but I'm struggling to aggregate the metrics that I want sent out. Right now, my rollups are only working on each row, instead of aggregating the entire column. When I try adding a SUM or COUNT formula at the bottom of each column, it doesn't work. Any assistance is much appreciated! 

Hello! My team and I are currently trying to find a way to when a faculty member already planned a trip with us before the fields that they had filled out last year, that all of that information gets repopulated in a form and if there are any changes, that they can look through the form and fix anything that is needed. We currently have a form where it asks whether or not it is a repeated program. We want to have an automation that triggers when that form is submitted if "Repeated Program" is Yes, that whatever program they choose, that old record repopulates some of the fields into a different form and sends the link to that same leader for final submission.   You can ask any questions if you need some additional clarification!   

I have an automation to run script when a unit enters a view. The script is working (in general) but not returning the value it should. The script looks at an occupied unit from one table and using a set of pre-defined parameters, makes a suggestion for a vacant unit from another table that it could be assigned to. Hello,I am trying to move all my content from my Microsoft Excel into Airtable. In my excel sheet, I have a column of hyperlinked titles linked to the 2100 of my articles.I tried to copy and paste the hyperlinked title from Excel into Airtable and the link didn’t transfer over.I am trying to figure out how to get those hyperlinks from Excel into Airtable without having to manually click on each of them and then copy and paste the URL into a cell in Airtable.1) I saw this thread here about using FORMULA TEXT to extract the links from the hyperlinks, but like the guy in the thread experienced, I too am getting N/A.2) I also saw this thread here and the last entry was Oct 9, 2023.  There was mention of a script but i dont' quite understand it and apparently it only works for 50 records.. and i have about 2100 records.Is there any recent solution to this? thank you,Matt

I looked for other solutions on the forum and either I'm too much of a novice to know how to solve it or it didn't work for my problem. I have a rollup field that is collecting multiple dates. I'd like to have it only return the earliest date in the list.  Is that possible?  I tried using MIN(values), but only got a 0 in the field.  Thanks!

Hello!I'm currently building an interface where I want to be able to pick a record, open the record detail for a specific linked record, click into one more record detail for a 3rd linked record, and then click a button to establish a link back to the original record in the interface. I'm able to have that button automatically populate a very specific record link, but am not able to have it dynamically change based on the actively open record in the original interface. Making the button run an automation also doesn't work, because the automation can only be passed the information from the deepest record detail view I go to.To explain all of that a little more specifically, I'm building a base to build shipments for customers. Each shipment will be based on a template, but will have different specific contents (each may have a shirt, shoes, or hat, but then you can choose what size based on the original templated shipment). We noticed today that a step in our Automations that sends an email if any of three fields are not empty is broken.  Has anyone else noticed a change?  These fields are not checkboxes, but Airtable now is complaining that they aren't.  We have been using this on about a dozen automations for over a year and suddenly they are all broken. 

Hi everyone,Since the storage for my attachments is limited, I've compressed the images and uploaded them on Airtable, and stored the high-quality ones on Google Drive. Now, I want to add URLs to shared Google Drive images so they can zoom in on the image (a function that Airtable is currently missing).Because there're records that contain multiple attachments, they will have more than one URL. I can add multiple URLs in a long text field but they display as lengthy URLs and don't look nice. Is there any way to display it as multiple buttons?Thanks in advance

I have a series of Interfaces that all start with the same record picker.  I'd like to pick the appropriate record in the record picker of the first interface and then pass the value I've selected in the record picker to the remaining interfaces so that I don't have to pick it at the start of every interface.  Is there a way to do that?

Hey all! I have a problem that I hope you can help with. I have a massive amount of data that I need to put into Airtable that I received in the below format. However, I need to put each individual instance into a linked record field in AT, so the 1-5, will need to be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The amount of data I have will take me months to manually import one record at a time. I am hoping to create a formulate that will pull out the hyphenated numbers and return a value of GKM5L1, GKM5L2, GKM5L3... etc for the first line so that I can copy and paste values into AirTable instead of entering manually. I would really appreciate any help! Hi! I am struggling to come up with a formula for this problem I am having:I need to create a formula on Airtable that will list all the Sundays that fall between a field called Created Time (date), and another called Start Date (date that is after the Created Time).For example, if the Created Time was today: 03/19/24And the Start Date was a month from now: 04/19/24I would like this formula field to display the following: 03/24/24, 03/31/24, 04/07/24, 04/14/24If any of those 2 dates are a Sunday, they should be excluded from the formula.Can this be done? Anyone have any tips on how to do this? I am trying to find a workaround as Date fields aren't very dynamic when used in Automations, and would like an automation to auto-populate a linked record field (within my "Events" table) with all the Newsletter emails I have on a separate table's calendar for Sundays.

Hi there!I have two tables - 'Events' and 'Volunteers'. I would like to assign volunteers to certain events, so I have a Linked Record field in the Volunteer table, allowing me to associate certain events with certain volunteers.Back in the Events table, I'd like to divide these volunteers into Teams A and B. How do I create a Linked Record (or dynamically filled multiple select dropdown?) for each Event with *only* the Volunteers assigned to those events appearing?I can create a Linked Record in the Events table where all the volunteers appear, but can't find a way to condition the list and limit it to only those who are already linked with that Event.Hope this is clear... Put another way:I have 10 events and 100 volunteers. Each event needs 10 volunteers, split into two teams of 5. Hello, I have a table with +400 records, and I want to ask a question about a “Multiple Select” column. How can I upload (or paste) separate records that I have in a CSV file, and put all of them as different categories in a “Multiple Select” column? The context of this is that I have a Form in FormAssembly and currently in the Multiple Select column I have countless records of unique categories, that include records that merged several categories (we had pre-defined 12 options). Here is a screenshot of how it currently looks I’m trying to solve this in a separate Spreadsheet where I created a CSV file with this column, I separate it but with formula and manually into different columns, and now I want to go back to Airtable and organize the “Multiple Select” column. Does someone have any advice for how to do this?

I'm debating on changing a single-select field to a multi-select field, but I'm uncertain on the effect it will have on all of the dependencies.I have a Progress flow that follows cold leads (potential investment deals) into committed investments, where we then put the deal into either a 'Syndicate Investment" view or a "Fund Investment" view, but some deals have both investments. SO, in the view prior to putting them into one of these investments, i'd like to change the single select to a multi-select that will allow me to put 2 tags on select investments where both the syndicate and fund will invest, thus moving the deal into both views. Is this going to screw up my full flow process? 

A noob here with Airtable. I've been looking for a way to consolidate data automatically between two tables.I want to match sales data from store into product database. At the first table I have product properties database. At the second table I have sales data from the system. They share in common the product code.The first table looks like this:Product code | Product name | Product units sold | etc...The second table looks like this:Product code | Product units sold | etc...Problem: As the sales data is imported into second table with DataFetcher extension, it is not easily connected with other product data. I'd like to somehow combine this data automatically, so that when browsing the first table, it would fetch the units sold information to each product based on the common product code. I would imagine the solution to be running an automated script? The script would be like:if [the product code in table 1] = [the product code in table 2]then set [the product units sold in table 1]

I'm working on tracking progress for multiple offices and their checklists. Currently, I have two tables - 1 with the Checklist and 2 with the Progress Report. The Progress Report is setup where the first column is the office name and the linked record field/column needs to select multiple records. There are 22 offices with around 25+ checklist items. It has been super tedious going through each line and added the linked records one by one. Is there any way to select multiple records at once to add it to the linked record field?

I've got a little script on Zapier where if somebody registers for a Zoom meeting, we add them to Airtable. To avoid duplicates, I search for to see if we already have a record for the registrant with a query like this:OR({Email 1} = "{{email}}",{Email 2} = "{{email}}",{Email 3} = "{{email}}",{Phone 1} = "{{phone}}",{Phone 2} = "{{phone}}",{Phone 3} = "{{phone}}")However, if Airtable doesn't find the email in any of the three email columns and the {{phone}} is blank, then Airtable will return a result for a record with a blank phone number, which is obviously not what we want here.Is there any way to construct a query that will not return a match for an empty phone number?Thanks!

Was playing around with the new function for dynamic linked records and was intitally very excited about it, but am wondering if there's something that I am doing wrong. After setting the dynamic filter, if I try to look for records that were not filtered when i try to add a linked record, I don't see those records (aka working as intended).However, when I copy and paste a name of a linked record that I know should pass the filter into the field, it shows up there. In my use case, I am using an automation to copy and paste from one field into a linked record; is there a way to only paste the ones that are allowed in the filter for linked records? (seem to have this issue regardless of whether its a static or dyanmic filter and not sure if its a bug)

Not sure how to even ask this - below is a nice calendar view with tasks on it that have durations set for them.  I don't need to set durations for tasks, but I do want to have "successive" tasks shift by the same amount as any "predecessor" task that I drag to a new place on the calendar as I reorder things.  So if "Task1" is currently due April 1, and "Task2" is due April 15," any change to one should change the other equally.  The commonality between the tasks is a project or client name, and all tasks live in a table called . . . wait for it . . .  "Tasks."The example below is from AT itself:  Collecting Base Metadata - Universe (airtable.com) which was not really what I wanted to do.  Traditional Gantt views are just unreadable to me.  Calendars are.  I think I'm kind of looking for a Gantt-displayed-on-calendar sort of thing?Thanks!

Hey! I'm trying to figure out how to add a portion to a formula that would ensure that it's set for 90 days after a particular field, or before June 1st. The current formula pulls from a date field for when they registered (Date Registered), and adds 90 days. How would I add a restriction onto this formula so it's 90 days, or until June 1st?  DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Date Registered}, 90, 'days'), 'MM/DD/YYYY')

I have a date field in my table named “Date Paid”. I would like to determine the week number of the month that date falls into in another field. Example, 2017-11-01 falls into week one of November, 2017-11-06 falls into week 2. Is there a formula that will do this? I know in VBA I can write a function to do this but want to do this in Airtable. I’ve been able to determine the month “Date Paid” falls under pretty easily with, MONTH({Date Paid}) but don’t see any built in functions for week number of the month Thanks for any tips you can provide for this!

When using Calendar view, I really need to be able to look at “This week” on the first line, and the next 2 or 3 weeks. This is easy on Google Calendar, I have a “3-week” custom view set up on it. As long as I’m set up on 3-week view, I can see “This Week” as the top line and the next 2 weeks. Right now, I’m at the end of January, and I need to see “This week” on Airtable along with the next 2 weeks of February. All I can find is the 2-week view, which only shows me “this week” and “next week” and that’s not sufficient for the way we schedule our tasks. It would be even better if I could do this with a total of 4 weeks (this week, and the next 3 weeks) but seeing a total of 3 weeks would suffice. Any help? Also, any possibility of a scrolling yearly calendar that would show 3-4 weeks at a time, but give me the ability to scroll one week at a time? This would be even better.
