Hello allI know there is no "one size fits all" answer to this question - but I am desperate to get it resolved.Keen on anyones ideas / thoughts on a front end solution for Airtable.  At the moment I use lots of shared bases - which does the job, but I would love other users to be able to edit and comment on records.Requirements are :Ability to edit / update / add Airtable recordsAll data / backend to be stored in Airtable Needs to look clean / classy / professional / snappy - but I would be creating a functional website used to manage projects - not necessarily sell thingsAbility for users (that I invite) to be able to log in and add comments   Only up to about 10 users.  Log in process should be very easy (I like Glideapps method of using an email pin)Grouping a list of data essential (ie - grouping by category / type) - just like you can in an Airtable grid view.Scaleable - initially

I am working on an interface for my installers to use in the field. I'd like to add a way for the installer to upload photos. The twist is that I'd like to only have my installers on as commenters, not editors. Is there a way I can set a button to allow the installers to upload a photo to the record?

Ok, this may be super basic, but I really need help here. I've got two sets of data: 1. Google Analytics2 aHrefsThe Google Analytics data shows values like traffic, user engagement time, pages visited per session, etc and gives all of this for a single url. The aHrefs data gives data like keywords, keyword difficulty, search volume, etc, but instead of showing all of this data on a single url, it will give 50 of the same url (this is an arbitrary number) because aside from the url, all of the other data is unique. What I would like to do is combine all of that information into a single URL, So if there is one url, it will show me all of the different keyphrases it is ranking for, an average of their difficulty, etc. I need it all in a single record. So far, I've tried de-dupe, but it won't merge the different keyword values into

Hi everyone, I created an interface form to collect data for a program application. One of the questions is a date field that asks the applicant to select a date for an event. When clicking on the date, it automatically opens up a calendar widget which is not very user friendly because you have to manually go back month by month to find the necessary date. Is there a way to disable the calendar widget from popping out? Thank you!

I am trying to set up an OAuth for Make, as API keys are no longer available to use, and it says not to give Personal Access Tokens to third party companies.I do not understand what the 'OAuth redirect URL' is supposed to be, at the moment I have tried the web address for Airtable https://www.airtable.com/, https://airtable.com/oauth2/v1/authorize, the web address for my Airtable base, but no luck. I'm not sure if this is the issue?I have used the same name and have copy and pasted the client ID (deleted from the screenshot for privacy).The error message I am getting is: This third-party app failed to properly construct a request to Airtable: invalid client_id or mismatched redirect_uriPlease can someone help?I have used API

How can I give users who don't have AT license, the ability to add/update/delete data?1. Obviously I can build a form, but that only allows adding, but no update/delete.2. With interfaces, I can build full access functionality, but it is disabled for non-licensed users, giving them only view-only mode.What am I missing?

Hey guys!Quick question on best practices for Base sync, I currently have multiple views for each base sync but wondering if it's better to have all syncs under one view.Example:Base Clients pulling from table Companies has separate views to sync to Internal Department Base 1, 2, and 3 (SYNC - Department 1, SYNC - Department 2, etc).I have done it this way to be able to quickly view where the synced data is going, but often I find I am syncing the same exact data. So is it better to have all the same data syncs pulling from one view?Our airtable performance speed has also started slowing down and I'm wondering if this is a way to help speed things back up.Thanks!

I have a number field, no formula related, just simple number field. I have been trying to type 0210, it shows 210 instead, the leading "0" is automatically missing, is there anyway that I can keep the 0? thanks

Hello,I want to hand executive leadership a simple tool to use as they are not familiar with Airtable like our Project Managers are. The workflow I am hoping for is a Gantt chart, that would auto filter when they select a record to look at. If I have a list of project records, each project has different teams assigned to it, often multiple teams. If someone clicks "Project A", I would want the Gantt to auto filter to only include projects that have the same teams as "Project A". Then a simple way to reset the filter to move on to "Project B", then it filters to only show projects with the same teams as "project b". The idea is to see when projects are running from start to finish, and to be able to compare a new project that uses the same teams so we can time slot the start/end of the new project better, based on team availability. Thanks!

I am struggling to figure out an IF/THEN statement that includes an OR. Here is what I'm needing it to do.I want to say "If there is anything populated in Column A, I want it to pull it into Column C. And if there is anything populated in Column B, I want it to pull into Column C, as well." Here is my current formula       IF(OR({DMSID Formula},{EG DMSID Formula}),{DMSID Formula},{EG DMSID Formula}) This is pulling in "Column A" (DMSID Formula) into "Column C", but it is not pulling in "Column B" (EG DMSID Formula).  Any suggestions??? Hi,I would like a new field that tells me if a date has passed on an old field, called due date.So I would like the new field to say 'Yes' if the date has passed, 'No' if the date has not yet passed, and blank if no date provided.Going around in circles with this one so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

@Bill.French @ScottWorld I have installed the maps extension and successfully set up a field with the static map API to generate a static map based on an address and populate an image of that map as an attachment in a field for each record. How do I get this to run automatically when a new record is created or a new record enters a specific view? I have tried using the script from the extension in a script automation triggered by an event (new record, record enters a view etc.) and it doesn’t like the script from the extension

Hello all – Is there yet a way to access (i.e. read/write/update) a record’s fly-out comments via the API? We have another app in which there are comments that we want to merge with the appropriate record’s comments in AT. If not, is it anywhere on the roadmap? It totally affects how we plan this integration. Thanks!

Hi - I use this formula to figure out when to follow up with applicants: DATEADD({Initial Email Sent}, 2, 'week') But I'd like to have it return a different result (1 week vs 2) when my applicants are getting fast-tracked. I tried this: DATEADD(  IF({Send Initial Email}, "Initial Email"{Initial Email Sent}, 2, 'week',"FastTrack Initial Email",

I need some way to log (or view) records that have been recently commented on (by me, ideally, but by anyone is probably OK). I go through a base and look at my employee’s work, then ask her questions about it – need to find a way to follow up on those requests I sent via comment so I can see if they have been resolved. Open to some sort of automation/trigger/integration (zapier or whatever) but I can’t seem to find a way to make it happen. Is this possible? I know i could create a separate “comments” table and do it that way but I don’t want to. Thanks!

How can i auto-fill a linked field?i have 2 linked tables in Airtable: CONTENT and CONTENT TYPESIn the table CONTENT i have two linked fields CONTENT TYPE and WORKFLOW In CONTENT TYPES i have the two "originals" of CONTENT TYPE and WORKFLOW If i select in the CONTENT table the linked value CONTENT TYPE and this CONTENT TYPE has a DEFAULT WORKFLOW (i.e. cell is not empty) then the WORKFLOW field in CONTENT table should auto-populate with the DEFAULT WORKFLOW value.Basically only if there is a default workflow (cell not empty) of the Workflow column in the content type table, then this value should be auto-filled on a linked field in the CONTENT table. Hope this makes sense? I know this can be done with an automation inside airtable. but how?

Hello! I have a rollup column that looks fine in the original base, but when synced to another base some of the cells seems to add extra information.For example, in the original base, a cell in the column will say "Person A, Person B"In the synced base though, the same cell will say " , Person A, Person B" instead, as if there's a blank record ahead of the rest of the list.This doesn't affect all cells in the column, just some. Would someone know how to make the column behave correctly in the synced base?

Hi,I cant for the life of me find a formula to I have 3 date columns in each record, only one of these will be populated per record, i want to create an additional single column which would auto populate with the date from either of these 3 fields so i can format it to a week number (and YY of possible).Is this possible to do and if so can anyone help with the formulae for this please?Thank you so much, Sarah 🙂

Hi, I'm really new to Airtable. I was wondering if there was a way to add a button to make fields editable for the Record Detail template. Basically, I want to be able to edit and update the current record on the Record Detail.

I have a table and each record includes a name, address, email address, phone number, and relationship. The relationship field is single select, and it consists of parent, student, donor, alum, and staff. I want to generate a report that gathers all of the records that are students and creates a report of each student's name and email address. How can I do this?

Can someone please help - I’m not sure if a formula, rollup, lookup or another option is best for this scenario. In order to job cost correctly, I do not need the duplicates of the payment amount, as it will show more was paid. I see a way around this by adjusting the amount due, however, with multiple people entering data, and checks being cut differently, based on 3rd party financing department details of payment are not known until the check is cut, typically 30-days after the invoice is received. When a contractor submits an invoice and it is paid as a partial payment - I am currently entering the information twice to keep up with the accounting end, however, as you can see from the example below it looks as if there is still a balance due, when in fact the invoice is closed out with no balance. I use Airtable for my accounting program. My goal with this post is to discover how I can allocate specific and different values from one payment record to multiple linked invoice records. The intent is to provide an unpaid/open balance which is simply the invoice value less the APPLIED payment. Currently, I have only two tables set up for this base. I am wondering if having a third linked table to address the application of different amounts going from one payment record to multiple invoice records will solve my problem. Background: In my base, I have two linked tables. The Invoice table consists of invoice records. (In the Invoice table, one record = one invoice).
