id like to format my "price" field as follow : 100€ not €100How ? 

I have been using Airtable and created a column in which I have added links to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram profiles. I manually added the follower count, but I want to know if it is possible to update the follower count automatically for these social media platforms in real-time. Can you please help me with this?

Hi everyone,An interesting Restriction / Bug I've found but unsure if anyone can help?I have a basic list view that lists Tasks, with associated Subtasks as drop downs by using the 'Levels' setup.With this basic, 2 level setup I now can't Group my Tasks by Status?  Anything I add in the 'Group' option on the right (no matter where I have selected on the window) only affects the Subtasks that are nested, not the parent TaskAny ideas?Thanks!

Hi, I have researched the forum but cant find the problem to my solution. Every time a record is updated in UseCases, I calculate a field call Environment_textual (example value would be "Negligible risk").I have another table called Environment_pics where I store pictures for each rating (e.g. there is a pic for "Negligible risk"). I want to create an automation which takes Environment_textual and copies it over to the linked field, so I can the picture in the UseCases list.I get an error for the last step.Should I copy the result in the linked field in UseCases or in the linked field of Environment_p

Hey my Gmail automation appears to be set up correctly with a publicly hosted web image that should send in the body of the text. It works in the preview but when I send the email it doesn't show. Could anyone point out where I'm going wrong please? The subject and body of text pulls from my airtable and sends in the actual email, then I use (<img src="image web address">) to attach the image (This does not send). Does this need to be configured in a particular way to send via Gmail that I'm missing? Cheers! 

Can someone help me figuring out how I can copy all the options in a single select (my example has 5 options, but assume a have a sigle select with 1000 options), and paste it in another table, as a regular text field? i need this because I want to create a db with all those options, and use link record.. as this info is in many of my forms, and get updated regularly , thanks! 

Hi All,I'm having difficulty automating a task that I need for my database. Essentially what I'm trying to do is to have a default value in the "Link to Field" selection, which is then removed when another option is added. The data is currently pulled in from another table using a 'Link to Field' column, I currently have the automation working to add default option back when options are removed but having difficulty creating the script to remove the default option when a second option is added.Below is my current code, which pulls the current options from the cell and checks whether they are the same as the field being updated, which then passes those choices to an updateOptionsAsync, from which my understanding is the wrong function to be calling.Any help would be greatly appreciated!! let inputConfig = input.config();

I thought the AI search could be a potential game changer, however they don't want to switch it on before they have an idea about cost.We've been trawling the Airtable AI and billing section, but so far haven't found where it says how much credits the search functionality takes. Does anyone know?

Hi everyone, I'm building a personell planning Module where you have your Project and you can assign workers to the project for certain time periods. The basic Idea/Tables behind is: 1. Projects: All info about the project. Start & end Date coming from "timeslots"2. Timeslots: Can be either a project or work term. Work terms are linked to projects. I then set up a timeline view and see my project and am able to plan out work terms beneath it (grouped by project, sub grouped by type). This is all nice and well. However there is one fundamental Problem: If I group by Project, sorting by date suddently does not have any effect anymore. Ideally I want to have the current projects at the top and the further down i go, the further they are in the future. But like this I have lots of projects inbetween that only start sometime in the future. Is there any way I can so

Probably a niche use case but wondering anyone can think of a way to make this happen.I'm trying to use airtable to organize some wire and cable take-off quantities and routing for a large scale construction project. The main entities (tables) are wire/cable, conduit, and pull/junction boxes. The boxes are like the nodes, the conduit link nodes together, and the wire runs through the conduit and boxes from an origin box to a terminal box. There may be many levels of branching. Possible that there is some spider-webbing as opposed to just straight branching but not positive yet (rare if so).I have the table setup so that there is a record of conduits, with an "origin" and "destination field each linking to the table of pullboxes. Hi all, I have the following issue:I have 3 different Interfaces: WorkTeamProduct RelatedEach with multiple Views. The "Team" Interface is more like team internal.So I want to share the "Work" and "Product Related" Interface with most of the company via a link. However, as soon as I select more than one Interface, the "Invite by link" option is gone. Is there a way to do it? A colleague with the free plan mentioned that he is able to share multiple Interfaces at the same time. We didn't figure out what is different though. Would be little bit annoying/confusing if everything has to click on 2 links. Single Interface selected: Multiple selected:

I have a CSV file delivered weekly with information about grant opportunities. I've been importing this file into Airtable, however, many of these grants include multiple submission deadlines throughout the year so I'm struggling to find the best way to be able to use the submission deadline as a true date field for sortability.The CSV file has a text-formatted column for dates. The cells also include "Submission: " before each date. I was planning on find/replacing out the "Submission: " text and then formatting the text as a date, but some of these cells actually contain multiple entries. Hi,I have a table called Launch Calander that I link records from other tables like Email task, Website tasks and Digital & Print tasks.The lookup fields for all the other records show fine in the Launch Calander except for Email.I've tried deleting the linked record for email and starting over by creating it again from within the Launch Calander, then creating Lookup Fields and making sure they are linked to the Email Linked Record. Yet, nothing shows up.

Hi community, I’m building up automation with Gmail sending records to the mail address of the person who filled out the form. I used the Rollup field to pull the email address from the other table. I’ve run 50+ times testing trigger and all the steps which showed no error, but it never succeeded while actually performing the automation after submitting the form. I am mapping out the content in an academic program with the following levels:Program ObjectivesCourse ObjectivesModule ObjectivesAssessmentsI have a separate table for each of these levels.Starting at the bottom, an assessment in one of the courses is connected up to one more Module Objectives. Each MO is linked up to one or more Course Objectives. Each CO is linked up to one or more Program Objectives.I'd like to visualize these connections. It seems the flowchart extension is what I need, except it only works with self-linked records. In other words, I would need to combine all 4 levels into a single table. This is problematic because I need the levels on separate Tables. I considered copying/pasting the primary fields and the fields that link each to the other level over into a new Table that I could use for flowchart purposes. I've used Airtable for several years and have a workspace with approximately 80 bases.  Prior to one of the "upgrades", I had organized my bases in a way that was easy for me to find which base I was looking for and that made sense to me.  Now that the workspaces are sorted by opened by you, alpha, or last modified, it is very time consuming to find the particular base that I am looking for.  The "upgrade" may have been great for many people, but it was horrible for me.I have looked and can't seem to find a way to manually sort my bases so that they stick.  I suspect that this is no longer an option for me.Does anyone have an answer?I tried to contact support, but it has been several weeks and the only communication that I received from them was asking if I had received an answer yet.  Of course, I had not, because no one had answered. Thanks! 

I need to be able to export a airtable views from the mobile app. Do I have any options?-It doesn't appear that there is any functionality for this currently in the app- It doesn't appear possible with automations- There doesn't appear to be any extentions that do this- There are third party apps, but as a small charity we can't really justify paying for one for this use

Im trying to set up a BOM (Bill Of Materials), but i have thousands ind different categories and subcategories. I though it could use the use the new dynamic filtering in the the link fields, but as there a many seperate sub categories depending on the material it ends up being quite messy.So I thought I maybe can rig something up in a script extention to have the user run through a bunch of questions to filter out all the irrelevant records to finally be asked to choose from a narrowed down list (as if the user would be choosing records from filtered view). Is this possible with the script extention?
