When using Calendar view, I really need to be able to look at “This week” on the first line, and the next 2 or 3 weeks. This is easy on Google Calendar, I have a “3-week” custom view set up on it. As long as I’m set up on 3-week view, I can see “This Week” as the top line and the next 2 weeks. Right now, I’m at the end of January, and I need to see “This week” on Airtable along with the next 2 weeks of February. All I can find is the 2-week view, which only shows me “this week” and “next week” and that’s not sufficient for the way we schedule our tasks. It would be even better if I could do this with a total of 4 weeks (this week, and the next 3 weeks) but seeing a total of 3 weeks would suffice. Any help? Also, any possibility of a scrolling yearly calendar that would show 3-4 weeks at a time, but give me the ability to scroll one week at a time? This would be even better.

Is there a way to build a Calendar view that allow us to scroll 1 week at a time through a 3 or 4 week view, using the scroll wheel on the mouse? You need a large monitor for that to work but I have a 42" 4K so that’s not a problem lol. I am a rookie here so if this is a super-simple answer, forgive me lol.

Hi everyone! I am creating a directory by linking a shared Airtable view to a webpage and most users will be on mobile. I would need external users to have the ability to sort and filter within the Airtable view when using a mobile device, similarly to what is currently doable on the desktop version. Is that possible? **3/18 UPDATE: AT support was unable to find any evidence of why this happened; we were also unable to recreate the events and have it happen again. The ticket with them remains open; best guess is that it happened during the same time as a service outage (there was one that affected rich text fields around the same time.)We have a table in a base set up as a simple ticketing system, nothing fancy.Users update a long text field with any actions/updates to the ticket in question.All users who have access to the base access the same way (grid view), though they each have their own view set up.We utilize the '@mention' feature to notify the responsible party after certain actions, and when they become responsible.We've noticed that any time someone enters new information in the long text field and '@'s' someone, the record removes all previous '@'s'.I've watched this happen in real time, and am confident that the system (Airtable) is making these changes, and not the human user, even thou

Hello. I have two tables. Project has a date field "submit date." It is linked by the "Project ID" field in Project to the "Project" field in timelines.. Linked records in the "timelines" table vary on category (color team), with one called "submit.". Each timeline entry has a date associated with it. When the "submit date" is updated in Project, it should update the "submit" entry for that project with the new date.I am having difficulty making an automation for this.Step 1: When a record is updated. Step 2: Find records. Find records in the timelines table where the color team is "submit" and the project matches the project from the Projects tableThere is something wrong with this step but I don't know what it is.Step 3: Update recordThis would update the submit date in the Timelines table, but I can't seem to get there.Could I get some advice on how to finish this automation?Thanks! 

I've created an automation 'When webhook is received..' -> 'Run Script'.  Inside that script, how do I add arrays/objects as inputs to the script received from the webhook?Here is an example payload:{"AccountId":"820","MessageType":"ContactModified","Parameters":{"Contact.Id":"73953","ProfileChanged":"True","Action":"Created"}}As you can see, 'Parameters' is an object with different keys, depending on what the 'MessageType' is. I just want to accept 'Parameters' as an object in my code so that I can make different decisions.From what I can tell, AirTable forces me to statically map the input. What happens when $.Parameters.ProfileChanged does not exist, but I've told AT to use it?

I have a paid account that I need to move to a free account. I created an inventory for a client that I don't want to lose access to, but that I don't need to update or change at all. It has more than 1GB of attachment data that I don't want to lose, but don't need to actively use. What will happen if I switch to a free plan? Will I just lose the ability to add anything, or will I lose data entirely or partially? Thank you!

Hi, just trying to get some advise on how to start creating an inventory managements base on airtable. We provide kits with have their own unique indentfying number - and each kit contains devices which we record the serial numbers of - they belong to each individual kit. Is there a way to build this out so that the Kit ID "contains" the unique devices? But still make them moveable and flexible ? We also will need to track stock that has not yet been built into a kit - but all with have unique serial numbers. Many thanks for any insights! 

Hello, I’m trying to learn basic scripting. I’m following some examples to get started and build a useful function, however I’m hung up pretty early on. I’m trying to pull all the entries for one specific field in a view. However, when I do this, my efforts keep ending up giving the “id” and “name” column, but not whatever I specified as the field. Hi you’ve got those great Extensions (made by Airtable) like Chart Extension and Pivot Extension but in the Interface Designer, making Bar Charts for example has substantially less options. It is actually quite annoying to create a Dashboard in the Interface perfectly knowing, that a better, more insightful Dashboard remains hidden inside the actual Base. Thanks!

I'm a new enough user that I don't really know if this is a Base Design, Automation, Sync, or Formula question - apologies.I use Airtable to manage a golf travel business and I have one Base that is a client list with 2 Tables (Names and Past Trips). The Names table has 20+ fields/columns. I also have lots of additional Bases that I use to manage the individual golf trips.I would really like to pull in information from the Client List Base to each of the Trip Bases. For example: I have a Roster table in each Trip Base where I list all of the travelers in the first column but I would also like Airtable to automatically pull in each client's Email, Phone Number, and Handicap Index from the Client List base (since they are all tracked in Fields in that Base).Is this possible with the free version of Airtable? And if not, is it even possible with one of the paid versions?Thanks very much for any suggestions.

Hello - We have a table of home improvement companies and we use the multiple select feature to indicate what services they offer. There are 82 services under the select feature and we add as many as the company does. For example, Best Painting is tagged for "Interior Painting" "Exterior Painting" etc. During a bulk upload, we use the website as a unique ID, and we want to add services to existing companies without replacing their old ones. Best Painting is on our bulk upload list, and we want to add "Cabinet Painting" to their services. When we do this using the CSV extension, it always clears and replaces the existing services. We have merge records toggled on and it will say "1 record will be updated" - but it always replaces instead of adds. Any tips?   

I'm using this formula in a Deadline Alert column: IF({Deadline} < NOW(), "Late", IF(IS_SAME({Deadline}, TODAY(), 'day'), "At Risk", "On Time")) I have a separate Status Column to mark tasks Done. Is there a formula to show "Done" (instead of "Late") in the Deadline Alert column when "Done" is selected in Status?

I’m trying to implement it on one of my bases but I’ve hit a bit of a snag trying to make it work in my use case.Here’s the deal: I’m with a company that handles housing for employees on a certain project. The employees work in rotations, being on the project for three months and then off for a month, before coming back again. To keep track of apartments and maintenance, we have check-in and check-out forms. The catch is not everyone fills them out because there are just so many of them, and it’s tough to keep track.Right now, when filling out the forms, employees pick their name (which links to our Employee table) and their apartment (linked to an Apartment table). After they check in, their name gets linked to that apartment, and it gets unlinked when they check out. Tena Koutou! I got momentarily excited by the received webhook trigger in automations (old news I know, just got round to it seeming like a time saver!) only to learn that there is limited access to nested data within the json payload… I’m sending a payload via webhook from Typeform => Airtable. Works great. I just can’t access the nested data I need. super frustrating. Seems like a fairly standard issue feature to be able to access nested data within a JSON object. Has there been any update to this? Anyone have any work arounds that dont involve third parties? I’m happy proxying the webhook through vercel serveless function but just seemed like a quick win to manage it in airtable. Any advice hugely appreciated! Luke

I've seen a few posts about using Stripe but we're hoping to use Square.The form is for a paid event and needs to collect a little bit of information before taking a payment to accept the booking.Again, I'm aware some folks have achieved this with Stripe and Zapier, Make or Fillout. I'm wondering if anyone's used Square?I want to really reduce friction here and make it as simple as possible, and I want to embed it into my website. So I'm essentially creating a checkout process. Can anyone help? Even just as a recommendation as to which of the automation tools would be the best bet here would be useful.

Hi, I have 3 Fields “Name” “Results” “Position” I will like to compare the values in “Results” Field and position it from ‘1st - last row’ (Field “Position”) If “Field Results” Row 1 or Record 1 is > Row 2, then Row 1 = “1st” else If “Results” Record 2 > Record 3, then Row 2 = “2nd” else if “Results” Record 2 = Record 1, then Row 2 = “1st” What I want the “Position” Field to do is, compare if Results Field Row 1 is Greater than Row 2 then Position Field Row 1 is equal to “1st” And if Results Field Row 2 is equal to Row 1 then Position Row 2 will be “1st” Or if Row 2 > row 3 then Position row 3 = “3rd” Finally if “Results” Row 1 = Row 2 then both "Position Row 1 and Row 2 will be “1st” But “Position” Row 3 will be “3rd” What formula do I use to achieve this? Hi all – I’m brand new to Airtable and super excited about what it can do for our business. Has anyone tried migrating from the Streak CRM (which embeds within Gmail) to Airtable? Although I love Streak, it can get clunky for ongoing and complex relationships – and I think Airtable will be better suited to that. If any experienced Airtable users have already done this, I would love to learn from you!

I plan to use the students' emails as the primary field in the "reports" table. Since the same emails will already exist in the "applications" table, I want to link these primary fields to the corresponding emails in the "applications" table.
