Hey, is there a way to separate files in an attachment field in airtable?Currently we have customers submitting photos into an attachment that automatically creates a new airtable record. These photos are stored under the one attachment field in airtable. I'm wanting to create an individual record for each file/photo in a different table called photos. For example; a customer submits three photos in one attachment. I want this to trigger an automation that creates a new record for each file within the attachment field. I've attached the code I'm trying to use with no success. Is there a way to do it without code?

I’m trying to setup an automation to email someone outside of my organization. I get a message saying that’s not allowed on my plan (Plus) but it doesn’t say what plan will allow this. I just upgraded in order to do this… I don’t want to upgrade again without knowing for sure that the next plan will make this possible.

Hi, I’m trying to automate creating an invoice on Quickbooks Online by a button press on Airtable through Integromat. While I’m successful in creating an invoice, the invoice is created for a Customer in Quickbooks. However, I want the invoice to be created for a Project of a Customer in Quickbooks, which is what I’m struggling with. Here’s the workflow: Have a Projects table and an Items table in Airtable. Create Invoice button exists in Projects table. On button click an invoice is created for all the items from Items table associated with the respective Project. In Quickbooks: Customer exists. Multiple Projects exist under Customer. Problem: Unable to map the invoice created to a Project in Quickbooks Any ideas, tips or solutions on how to achieve this? Thanks!

I have created automations within Airtable so that when a box is checked in one table, all of the production tasks will be created in another table. My question is, sometimes the title for an event will change in the first table. How can I get that change to be automatically reflected in the production tasks found in my other table? I have tried several times without success. Thanks for the help!

As of today I cannot edit or create and fields in my Airtables. When I try and save edits, it loads for about ten seconds and then gives me an error and tells me to refresh. If I create a new field it looks fine for about ten seconds and then it forces me to refresh. After refreshing any changes are gone.This happens in my web browser and the AirTable app. I have tried restarting the browser/app, restarting the computer, etc., but nothing helps.Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi,I want to search for 1 item in a table which contains multiple items in a cell - apple, banana, grape.The filterByFormula with the = only works if there is only 1 item in the cell.  If they are multiple items, I get an error.I tried using "contains" and "like" but they don't work.  What should I use?ThanksSteve

Then automatically changing their status I have my trigger set up, If a record has a scheduled date that was one day ago and the status on it is "booked"I want to then update anything under these conditions to "completed" I am having issues setting up the "updating" feature.  

We have a database of transactions that is monthly via csv import. This contains information like transaction id, amount, duration.Most transactions are simple one-time occurrences; however, some transactions happen over the span of months.For these long duration transactions, we apply a partial payment at day 30, 60, 90, etc. until the final payment which is a remainder of the total transaction. The issue we run into is that the transaction length and amount can adjust part way through.For example, transaction A has a value of 1,000 and duration of 40 days. Day 30 has passed and day 40 is in the future so our system flags this transaction for partial payment.Calculating the day 30 partial payment is simple:Daily rate * 30(1,000 / 40) * 30 = 750The issue happens when we import the following month's transaction data. transaction A imports again, but this time it has been adjusted to have a duration of 43 days and value of 1,100.

I am trying to create a scoring system using Airtable where judges can score a team (with the different metrics in columns). What I have done: Created 3 different tables for each judge Each judge’s table has a list of all the teams (teams are populated as new records across all judges’ tables automatically using external software) Judges can manually key in the score for each metric and an overall score is automatically calculated in the respective record What I need help with: However, I want to create a new table which gives a summary of the overall score for each team for each judge (i.e. looking across a particular record, I will be able to see the overall score for judges A, B and C). I'm trying to run a script with 4 inputs, one is a Users name and the other three are lists of users labeled Junior, Mid, Senior. I want to return Junior, Mid or Senior depending on which list the User is in, the user will always be in one of the lists. I copied the Project management Airtable Template and I see Manual sort as a field type. This is not available for me on any other bases. Is this a new field type?

I've uploaded all of our assets to the table, creating different fields to help tag them. We're using another table within the same base to plan our social media content.How do I pull in the image from the DAM table into the social media content table? I was just uploading as an attachment but would like to pull in from the DAM, so if it changes, it will automatically change within the social media content table.

Hello,I'm currently working on setting up an email system for sending bulk messages to suppliers. I've discovered that I can utilize automations to enable Airtable to automatically send emails to suppliers based on the information in my table. Additionally, I've set it up so that it sends a follow-up email one week later using the date field.However, I'm unsure if it's feasible, but I'm wondering if there's any method, whether it involves additional tools or any other means, that would allow me to check if I've received a response from the email or domain and incorporate that information into the automation process?

For our project management team, I want to create an Email Digest Automation where Every Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 1:00 PM for example, if there are Rush or High Priority Tasks coming up (Final Due Date) tomorrow, the email sends to those to who are responsible for each tasks. So far, I have Trigger : At a Scheduled Time (Every 1 Week on M,W,F)Action/Logic: Find Records (Where Final Due Date is Tomorrow)Action/Logic: Send an Email. -> And this is where I have issues. I don't know how to set it so each person who is responsible for each tasks receives the email, instead of sending it to everyone as a whole. We use "Assignment" fields to determine who is responsible to each task, but not sure how to integrate that on the automation here so let me know. 

Hi all - I work for an image retouching company and have a table in my base named Assets. These are all images that get linked to projects in a different table. Some of my projects have up to 50 assets. I have been adding new thumbnails for each assets and then copy and pasting the file name for each. I want to be able to drag and drop the thumbnails into a field to batch upload them -- and populate the thumbnail into the "Thumbnail" field and the file name into "Assets" field. I would not be uploading more than one thumbnail per asset. Here is one catch: I need this to happen on the interface level, not on the base level. The base contains sensitive financial data that cannot be shared with everyone. I was able to figure it out on the base level but need all of my colleagues to be able to batch upload as well via interfaces.Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,When we originally set up our Airtable SSO integration, it was set to match against the user primary identifier (we call it a netid) instead of using the email field. Let's say my netid is d39562b. When I log in with SSO, my account email address looks like: d39562b@dartmouth.edu.However, if I don't have an Airtable account, and someone sends me an invite to join a base or workspace, the email goes to the email address which is my "real" one - joseph.montibello@dartmouth.edu. Then if I accept the invite, my account email address will be that form (joseph.montibello@dartmouth.edu). If there's no existing account with that form, it will create an account for that.So my problem is twofold:When a user gets invited to a base or workspace, Airtable sends email to an address (

Is it possible to pull data from Harvest into Airtable? Specifically I am looking to transfer costs (Time and Expenses) in Harvest into two fields in my Airtable base. I do not see this functionality natively available with Zapier or Make, but am curious if anyone has found a solution. Thanks in advance!

Hello all 🙂 I've been staring at this and I am sure it is right in front of me but can't see it. I have a table of scenes that have their filming date defined by a lookup field (I link backwards for print result purposes - if you have seen my other posts DocsAutomator saved my sanity)Now the problem is of course that the linked filed doesn't ACT like one, so I cannot sort properly by date. I can group all the same dates together but they sort alphabetically, not chronologically. How do I accomplish this?

I have a table built in Tableau that appears fine on screen, showing the currency fields with 2 decimals.In the past i had to export as crosstab csv and then use CSV import extension to update records in Airtable. Now i want to just use a directly synced table from the Tableau integration, but it is not working. 1. Biggest issue is currency fields are importing as rounded whole dollars, losing the decimals.2. Also noticing that currency fields are coming in as text field and unable to convert to currency field. I have tried changing the number format in Tableau using Number (standard), Number (custom), Currency (standard),Currency (custom), and Automatic. Nothing works. Any ideas? 

 Hi all,I've been using Airtable automations in my base with a conditional trigger setup that has been functioning quite well. The automation is designed to send an email when specific conditions are met: namely, when an event is 20 days away and matches a certain status. This triggers an email to be sent.The issue I'm encountering is that these automated emails are dispatched at midnight, which is not ideal for my needs. I'm wondering if there's a way to adjust the timing of these emails so they're sent at a more convenient hour, rather than right at midnight. My automation relies on the conditions being checked daily, hence the timing.Does anyone know of a workaround or method to either:Schedule the email to be sent at a specific time after the conditions are met, rather than immediately?Modify the automation in a way that it checks for the conditions at a different time, not necessarily at midnight?

Hey Wonderful Community! I am currently having an issue with a formula that I am trying to show as a progress bar. Here are the specifics: I am calculating the percetage of time passed between a start date and an end date. The formula seems to be correct: ROUND((DATETIME_DIFF(NOW(), {Start Date}, 'days') / DATETIME_DIFF({End Date}, {Start Date}, 'days')) * 100, 2) However, when I go into the "Formatting" section of the Formula Field, it gives me a very large percentage which seems to be incorrect (in this particular case the preview shows 345600% but in the formula section, the preview shows 35.56%.
