Suppose you have a series of records that include zip codes. There may be many of one zip code and a few of a bunch of others. How do I get a list of the frequency of these zip codes? So 14757 occurs 6 times and 14722 occurs 9 times and 20021 occurs 3 times, etc. I want to get a list of the zip codes by how often they occur and if possible a count of that frequency.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Scott

I expect this is beyond what Airtable / 3rd party automations can do but if achievable this would be an absolute game changer for me. I would like to create three fields. Field 1 (Single Line Text) / Field 2 (Attachment) / Field 3 (Attachment).In Field 1 - I enter the name of an employee. In Filed 2 - I attach a multipage pdf. Then in Field 3 - I get the multipage pdf with the individuals name across it as a watermark.I've tried programs Zapier, CraftMyPDF, pypdf but hitting hurdles throughout. Any ideas are enormously welcome.     

So full disclosure I do not have a ton of experience scripting, but I have built quite a bit of stuff in office script with the assistance of chatgpt and a lot of follow-up questions/research to understand what CGPT did and why it did or did not work.Did the same here trying for my first scripting automation but I am kind of stuck on an issue early in the script. The intent is that whenever a record is created or updated, the script should grab ALL records in the table that have the same values in two fields as the new/updated record. IE if a record with training type "CPR" and employee "Steve" (both are linked record fields to other tables) is created or updated, then the script should retrieve ALL records in the table that have CPR and Steve in the respective fields. It should then look through those found matching records and find the one that has the maximum (most recent) date in the date field, and checkmark that record. I have a Table, called Production Sheet, and each production "day" links to a master Batch sheet for that week. There can be many production days pulling from a single Batch Sheet in another table. I can link to the batch sheet just fine. What I would like to do is have the batch sheet show all of the linked production days, which would be separate entries in each of the production days. I thought this would be simple by running an automation, when a batch sheet is linked on the production sheet, by finding the batch sheet that matches that date, and adding that production sheet date to a field in the batch sheet. Of course, this would need to concurrently add to that field and not erase it, as multiple records would be added daily throughout the week.

Why? It seems to offer a bit more flexibility for changing field names in Airtable, so they update automatically when referenced in MAKE. I'm building a PTO request workflow in Slack which adds a record to an Airtable. Airtable then automates some downstream steps which will post the PTO to a shared Google calendar etc. It was working fine. I wanted to make some modifications without messing with the original workflow so I duplicated the workflow itself as well as the Airtable. The Slack workflow duplicate allows me to choose that duplicated airtable (I added it to the integration in Airtable) but it simply won't work when I try to run the Slack workflow. Slack throws "The service used for this step isn't available" when I try to run it. I deleted the Slack integration in Airtable and re-created it with a request from Slack to no avail. I also tested deleting the copy of the table to see if the error changed, and it did- Slack would say "The user doesn't have permission to use this step." instead. A brand new airtable base fr

I’m trying to figure out if AirTable can solve equations with unknown variables. For instance, a break-even analysis based on data in the table. (Revenue per unit ⨉ Units sold) − (Fixed costs + Cost per unit ⨉ Units sold) = 0 (200 ⨉ Units Sold) − (1000 + 100 ⨉ Units sold) = 0 Where Units sold is the unknown variable (“x”), and I would like to know the value of “x” where the equation returns 0 (break-even). A normal equation solver would give: (200x)−(1000+100x) = 0 x = 10 So, could I get “10” to display using an AirTable Formula? Thanks!!

Hi all,I have created an automation which takes an action based on whether a value (a list of dates, via a lookup field) contains today's date (via a formula field). Both are formatted to only include date and not time. However the action is not working because the value returned for the first step is [object Object], rather than an actual value (the list of dates). Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi,  I'd like to create a "Business Health Check" Dashboard, and I'm thinking Airtable might be a good way to do it,  but as a new user I'm not sure how to start. Basics:1. Dashboard view:   Show changes to each category over the past few months (line charts most likely)2. Form:    Owner would fill this out weekly with data for that week3. Data/Questions (this is where I'm not sure how to lay the data out for the questions, or to record it in a way that the charts could use it).  Question examples    - Time Period (Date 1 to Date 7 - usually a week - ie Mon-Sun)    - Booked for how many days out (likely do this as a number field:  1,2,3,4 .....     - How many new inquiries did you get from x source this week?  Number field    - How do you feel about business this week?  - Drop down selector - Not Good, Good, Indi

My airtable account does not let me generate an API Key, instead it pushes me to creating a PAT. I have used a PAT and successfully linked to Make.com however as far as I am aware I need an API Key to integrate Airtable with Voiceflow, so does anyone know how I can overide what it is saying and generate one. Or can someone help show me how to use the PAT to link with Voiceflow.

1. The Date Time Button in the filter when we select a date the data is not the same in the table where it is linked? When we select the past month, the value of the data is not match in the table when we filter it2. Can we do math operations in a table that is not in the same row but in different row?

I’m starting using AirTable and VoiceFlow. Hi,I have a table named "Customer" whose field is "Address"I also have a table named "Invoice" where the associated fields are "Target Customer" where it is linked to "Customer" table and it can linked to many customers; and "Latest Address" which is a roll up field.In my case, i only want to retrieve the last address of the last linked customer. So if i have ["Customer1","Customer2"] in "Target Customer", the "Latest Address" must be Customer2's address only.How can i achieve this?Note: Customer1 and Customer2 are not related to any created time or updated time or any min max value. Hi there,We have a number of users who have interface only access (i.e., no base access). One of our pages uses a 3 level list. When they attempt to add a new linked record/new row through the interface by using the + icon (e.g., a task or action), they get a permissions error. Any insight about why this might be happening would be helpful. 

Is it possible using a formula or automation to compare two multi-select fields and show which items are missing from the 2nd? I'd like to have a 3rd field that would show just what was missing from the completed list. 

The "Add record" and "Add milestone" controls are disabled in our Gantt view. Removing all filtering, all grouping, and disabling/re-enabling "Use milestones" in the view's settings have not helped.'How is this supposed to work? 

Is it possible send an Airtable form without the Airtable cookies (disable the cookies)? We don’t want to save the forms's information in the cookies, when it’s not necessary.

Hello! I'm creating an Airtable base to manage book club meetings. I have a column for the meeting dates (DD/MM/YYYY) which take place once per month. I'd like to have a "Reading Status" column that uses a formula to create the following labels:"All Done" for meetings where the date has already passed"Up Next" for the upcoming meeting"Not Yet Read" for future meetings that are not the next closest meetingI am new to formulas and struggling with how to set this up. I would like to use a content calendar to create a mockup or preview of my instagram grid based on the dates and images in a record, so that I don’t need to go outside of airtable to preview it. Has anyone found or built a solution that does this?

I have a base that is mostly photos, with reference numbers on each one. Because the photos are the "main event", I am trying to use gallery view to print and/or save as PDF.However, I find that cards often break across pages, and sometimes leave the photos invisible. See example, attached.Is there a way to make gallery view print so that cards do not break across 2 pages? Hi All, I want to create a bibliography. I have all the pieces in different columns and want to use the concatenate formula to pull them all together. However the Title of the book needs to be in Italics, how do I carry over the italics from the cells, or adjust the formula to make only the title Italic? Author Surname, Initial(s). (Year) Title. Place of publication: Publisher. This is my formula: CONCATENATE({Author(s) Max 3},"(",Year,")","."," “,Title,” “, City,”:"," ",Publisher) Any ideas?

Hi! I already created and published a form that has received entries. I realized I need to add another question in the form so I added the question in the form, and added that column manually into the base that collects the data. I published the form, but answers for that added question doesn't show up in the Airtable base where it collects data. Where am I going wrong? I made sure to add the column with the exact text in the same order as the form. I also published the form. I can't see anywhere else I need to make changes in order for this response to reflect in the base data. Any advice?
