Hi! I have data coming in from a webhook to Make. I am trying to create a formula in Make to search Airtable for number of times an email appears in a field on a table and limit the number of submissions to Airtable. For example, I want to limit the rows to 5 for this user based on email. When the user submits data via the webhook, I want Make to do a search on Airtable and count the number of time the email appears in the table, if email appears less than 5, allow data to be submitted. If more than 5, give an error or prevent data submission. Here is the formula I used. 8.FIELD__KPZIT488X is the value from the webhook for email."{{8.FIELD__KPZIT488X}}"={Email}I have tried to do this with forms, but no luck. Trying to see if it can be done with formulas on the backend.

Hello,I am building a Scheduling tool for my company and a feature we do for our clients is "Scheduling Optimization", where we map out their schedules and look for ways to cut down on headcount, merge shifts, etc.I was hoping to use the Timeline View to display the schedules with both date and time taken into consideration, but despite the "Day" view having an hourly breakdown, it still displays each shift as an "All Day" event: I am aware that the Calendar View does this properly, but the problem is the orientation; I'm often working with events that are 100+ staff per day, so the Calendar View is somewhat unusable:The Daily Calendar view is a little better, but I need to see these records from a weekly view in order to properly assess possibl

Hello, I am setting a legal case tracking base and I am trying to do something where:1: When I input the date of incident, it automatically calculates two years from that date2: I would like to have a table that also has a countdown until we reach the Statute of Limitations. Ideally, it would look something like: Date of Incident (03-11-24), Statute of Limitations (03-11-2026), Days remaining: 365I attempted the Datetime_Diff between the two, but it just gives me the number of days between the Date of injury and SOL, so I think I can omit the Date of Injury and just have a running countdown so that every day when I log in, the day is one less remaining in the column that is counting down. 

Is there a way to append data in a field? Let's say I have a long text field called "Campaigns" which will contain the different campaigns that a customer have agreed to through our emails. Is there a way to preserve the previous text and basically add the new text to the field?

Dear Community,I hope someone can help me with the following issue...I have an automation sending out an email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. The attachment(s) come by lookup from my "inventory" table. Now, as some inventory items may have the same attachment (eg. an invoice covering several inventory items/lines) I consequently get several same attachments pulled to the "shipment". How can I tell airtable or my automation to ignore files with same filename when sending out email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. It's hard to explain, but I hope someone will see my issue. 🙂 Kai 

Would it be possible to activate an automation in Airtable (send a form), with a trigger in Figma?Every time someone gets tagged in Figma, the form should be send to the tagged person. 

I want to create a "sheet" timetable that creates new dates using a formula based on one date that is inputted. I know there's probably a better way to say that so please disregard my ignorance. Here's what I want to happen...I input the "Class Start" date and all other dates are created using formulas. Here is our current sheet.Is this possible in airtable? I imagine there is a work around. 

Hello! I have a large set of dates that are a partial year and month, and would like to convert this to a final date of the month format. Afternoon, all,I have an automation which fills in a select field based on a linked field's id.If the item doesn't exist in the select field already, it automatically creates a new item in the field.However, every time the new item is created by the automation it's blue. Every new item is always blue.Is this a bug? When we add them manually (which we don't want to do - hence why we automated it) they are colourised.Here is the field,Any clues, or help much appreciated. Thank you.Best, DanC 

Hi everyone,I'm sure you've all heard about Air.AI or have seen a video discussing it.I'm currently attempting to work with Air.AI, but I've hit a roadblock, where I have to interact with my agent. Whenever I try to communicate with my agent, the webpage prompts me to upgrade my Twilio account from the free trial. Air's tech support mentioned that I can use any plan other than the free trial. However, my budget is extremely limited, around $100 per month, and I'm not familiar with Twilio's pricing. Which Twilio plan would be the most affordable while still being usable for Air.AI cold calling? Ideally, I'd like to allocate $1 per day for Air.AI, which totals to $30 per month.Which Twilio plan would you recommend that fits within my budget?I'm a complete beginner, and I greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to assist me. Hey community, I'd like to export all my airtable data (including files) which turns out to be trickier than (at least) I hoped: I understand that there is a CSV export function. The main issue for me here is that the file(s) are stored via the expiry link which makes it... not really (re)useable.Therefore, is there a way to either transform the expiry link into a permanent link or be able to download the complete data?By complete data I also mean keeping the relations: I noticed that there is a way through zapier to export all the data (as files) but they would then have to be linked to the record manually again (from my understanding). Any input is highly appreciated!Thanks, Michael

why does a 'day date' formula, based on a 'start time' return a day as the day before, when the start time is before 8am? Here is my formula column which is based on my start day/time fieldDATETIME_FORMAT(Start,"D-ddd")

We keep our org chart in Airtable. It includes who Person A reports (as a link to another record) to as well as their contact info and photo.The automation I'm trying to set up would remove the manager that Person A reports to when the manager leaves our organization. We have a status that is "No longer employed", so I'd like the automation to be triggered by that and then remove the manager from any employees they're assigned to.I can get to a certain point, but I keep setting it up in a way that would just update the manager record rather than the folks they manage.TIA for the help!

hi there!A newcomer to Airtable and really excited to explore and see how I can build a robust system for my use cases. I manage a construction company and am trying to build a robust PM interface to handle the various activities that happen during pre-construction, in-construction and post-construction. There's a lot there but one important aspect is the idea of automating a status report to share with the top management.Currently I build this manually in email and share with the team. This includes a genera summary of activities during the week, any red items (tasks that have been delayed) and then a list of open items and their last activity.Assuming all these items are logged in a table with their activity logs in comments (unless there's a better way), is there some way to automate this report to be generated and emailed end of each week?Thanks very much for your help and advice!

Hi all,I have formulated columns Apple, Orange, Banana, and the formula produces "Y" or "N" values. I want to create another column that will return the name of the column if their value is "Y". Is there any way to do this?I have tried nested IF formula, like IF(Apple="Y", "Apple", Orange="Y", "Orange"...), but the problem is they just return one value, but I want all the columns as long as their value is "Y".Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have an issue with emails being rejected from an airtable automation? There was a migration from a different hosting service we used our mail servers on I have disconnected and cleared the cache and reconnected the account but the same issue is happening as the email was the same but the hosting changed I am not getting this issue it seems like from other 3rd parties I was using. This was not doing this before there was no issues sending emails from outlook in connection in airtable so I have no idea what is happening   

Creating a CRM and I was hoping to create a master interface to act as a management dashboard and draw from multiple different bases. Is this possible? or does all the information have to be in one base under different tables?

Hey AirTable Community! I am having trouble with Automations. I have my trigger (When a new record is created). When selecting my Action (send an email), I select all the fields I want to display on the email, but when I test it, it’s only pulling certain values, but most of them are left blank, even though the cell has actual information on it (linked from another record & tab) Any solutions to solve this? Thanks!

the one thing that is missing for me from Airtable which I thought the new Interface designer and feature will solve, is that it will actually save the exact state of my table when I’m sharing… for example: I have a table grouped by a column that has 7 values, and I’d like the table to start with all of them collapsed for viewers, so that they can see a summary of the key value. 2nd, the width of each column. I figured that if I change a column’s width while in edit mode, it should stay that width when viewers see the table… and currently it does not. with these 2 things not supported, I don’t see much value in this whole feature… are there any plans to add this?

Hi there I’m not even sure I’m asking the right question here because I know nothing about coding and I’m aware I’m going to need a script here. I have a table with data in it that I want to use to populate a Contract Proforma in Google Docs that I’ve created through Integromat. I’ve managed to get it working through the Created Trigger that comes automatically in Integromat but I’d now like to be able to make it happen by clicking a button in the Record in Airtable. I think this is done via Webhooks. I’ve generated the Webhook in Integromat but I don’t know the code to use to get the correct data sent across. Thanks in advance
