I've tried to create such an automation:When one updates the value of field 1,if this value matches that of field 2,input a static value into field 3!How do you let people do this?Because AirTable doesn't let us set this condition, I've done this:a. added a hidden field with the formula: IF({field 1}={field 2}, "1")One can input any value after the condition / first comma.One can add an "else" output after a second comma.b. set the condition: If this field 4 has the value 1I've added step a because some service providers make service users do costly work.Service providers are supposed to do the main work. This is a part of the main work.

I am an experienced programmer, new to Airtable.I have two tables, one a 'triage' table where some client information is entered. When the client passes certain criteria I want to add the client information with some additional fields to the 'client' table.The first pass at doing this with a button that builds a url to a form connected to the client table does work.There are two issues - the button can be pressed multiple times, adding the client more than once. Also if the user is in the Airtable app it launches the web version which is disconcerting.I have experimented with a script that tests a two state Single Select field (changing it from "New" to "Added to Clients"). However I cannot see how to launch the form from the script. Is this possible? 

Hello everyone,I am actually building a carousel using the Web API. I am going over the documentation and I cannot find a way to do what I want. I am trying to get the previous and next row with an id of one row in a filtered table.For exemple, I have the following data:ID |    Name    | Category1   |       D         | CategoryZ2  |       B         | CategoryZ3  |       C         | CategoryLIf I want to get the previous element and next element of B when the table is filtered by the Category column and Name column. In this case, the previous element is C and the next one is D, How do I do that using the Web API?The only thing I could maybe think of is a way playing with the "offset" parameter. Maybe I am missing

So I'm basically building out a progress tracker to track sales.  Once a sales rep lands on the interface, I want them to only see their own record, and nothing else.  Any way to do that?Just to clarify, the Sales Rep looking at the interface should only be able to see his own record in the interface. Cheers!

Is there a way to create a link to a form with pre-filled information? For example, I want a button in an interface that can go to a form to add a bug linked to whatever the user was looking at in the interface, so that the link is already set when opening the form.

Hello.  I'm not a developer but I managed to create a button that when clicked sent a webhook to Make to run a scenario.That process has now broken because of the whole API thing (which I don't understand).  Can anyone tell me how I make the button send the web hook now?  I've created a Personal Access Token but I don't know what to do with it and I'm not even sure that's the right solution.Thanks in advance

Hello,My subject might not be entirely accurate. Bangin my head against a wall for a few days now.  I haven't been able to find the solution to my problem here, and I feel like there really must be one.  I'm trying to come up with a way to quickly calculate what individual contractors should be paid for events, and display as a grid or list or interface that is easy for the person entering "payment requests" to read. I am building out a job board on webflow, and I had a workflow where a user would fill out a form to submit a new job, form data would go to Airtable, then from Airtable back to the Webflow CMS. Does this make any sense? (Using Zapier). Or should I just move the data from the Webflow form directly to the Webflow CMS? Thoughts?

Hi there! I’m trying to use the IF and DATEADD formulas to calculate a Project Start Date based on whether or not a Launch Date is entered for a record. If there is no Launch Date entered, the record field should be left blank. Here is the formula: IF({LAUNCH DATE} = BLANK(), “”, DATEADD({LAUNCH DATE}, -16,‘week’)) What I am getting is a date string (2021-10-18T00:00:00.000Z) instead of the Friendly Date format. Hello, I want to have a merged table consisting of entries I manually created plus entries with the same data structure that i fetch from an external data source via API.The external source could be updated in the future and ideally I'd want the records in the table to update as well. Hi everyone, I'm really bad with the formula field!I'm trying to create a formula that prints "OK" if each user that I added has an active status; if some users have inactive status, print "not everyone," and if nobody has an active status, print "nobody." My problem is that the formula is based on info from another table, but I need it on that table.Those are my examples of base: I'm trying to add this formula field to the Report Table. How can I add just one button on a table and that button be able to include an automation?I have an automation and I need to add this automation in a table with a button. Just one button that works for all records in the table, not one button for each record which is what you can normally do.

Hi Community,I am pulling information from multiple records in a sync'd base into one record in a new base. By doing this I getting multiple images associated with this record, which I love. However some images are associated with multiple records in in the sync'd base and therefore multiples of the same image is added to the attachment. Is there a way to remove the duplicate attachments without having to do it manually? Making sure all attachments are unique.Thanks!

Hi!  Using an automation designed to send and collect wedding rsvps via a form - I customised the automation to use it for our events company.The automation uses a CRM/Contacts table, a RSVP table to collect the new responses, and a form linked to the RSVP table. A personalised link in the CRM/Contacts table is sent to each contact. This link (image attached) is a form prefilled with their name and details, and few empty fields for them to complete. The data entered into the form > feeds into the rsvp table > then updates the CRM/Contacts table records.The problem we're having is invited people are forwarding their personalised links to others for them to attend the event. Inviting new people isn't a problem - the problem is the new person overwrites the existing data/user in the CRM table (unlike a wedding where guests don't invite other guests). I have to manually go, roll back the data, and create a new record for the new person.To c

I have an Automation that triggers when a new pdf has been added via Documint.  It sends an email with the pdf document that has been added as an attachment.  The issue is it is sending all of the attachments in the field and not just the one that has been most recently added. I would like to know how I can send just the last attachment that has been added in the field and ignore the existing ones.
