I have tried on numerous occasions to cut data from excel and past into Airtable table but keep getting an error.  It is a rather big table but I have done the same operation with earlier data and had not issues.  What:s going on?  See error message below

Hello, I have an automation to send an email everytime a record is updated. The team will go in and make multiple edits at a time and they would like to receive one email at the end of each day with the updates, rather than receiving 20 emails in one sitting. When I try to schedule an email, it doesn't let me reference back to the "updated record" that I need. But trigger by "when an update is made" doesn't seem to allow me to batch emails. Any ideas?

Hi, I want to create an automation that updates "Table B" when a new record is created in "Table A""Table A" contains customer information; some are new customers, some are returning customers. Returning customers will have multiple records, new customers will only have one."Table B" is linked to "Table A" and has a rollup field which identifies the most recent record for each customer.Each time a new record is created in "Table A" I want it to link to an existing record in "Table B" if it is a returning customer, or create a new record in "Table B" for new customers. The end result will be multiple customer information records in "Table A" showing all entries for each customer and one record per customer in "Table B" showing only the most recent entry.I'm sure this is straightforward but each time I try I just end up with a new record in "Table B" for each new record in "Table A."Please can someone help?Thanks

Hi,For one base we have created automations with Slack and email updates for stakeholders, where we want to show thumbnails of images (within an attachment field) in those updates. I only get those attachments as url's linking to the image, but I really would like to have those images as thumbs in those updates because it will clarify a lot in those updates.I already looked into the display option as shown below, but when I switch to thumbnail, it gives me an error message. So i'm kind of lost with this.Can someone help me in fixing this? Thank in advance!

I'm trying to make an automation that will update a field to say if a step is Completed, In Progress, or Not Started based on four checkbox fields.I'm able to get the field to correctly state when it's not started (when none of the checkboxes are checked) and when it is in progress (when any of the four checkboxes are checked) but I can't seem to overwrite the "In Progress" option when all four checkboxes are checked. I understand why this is happening as technically even if all four boxes are checked the conditions for "In Progress" are met but is it possible to have this condition not be active if all four of the checks are present. Or is there a way to have sequential automations so it could first check if all four checkboxes are checked and if not only then look to see if it's "In Progress"?I'm very new to automations so I figure there's a way to do this so any help would be greatly appreciated. 

We use a daily report of hours worked (we manage all our timesheets via airtable) that is based on Finding Records from the day before (or 3 days before on Mondays). My goal is to be able to title that report (which is created to Google Docs and then shared with admin) with the date for which the timesheet was generated (today is the 8/30, but the timesheets in question will be from 8/29). Is there a way to only reference one of the records for this purpose instead of inputting the whole string from ‘Make a new list of… Field values’? Any suggestions on how to get the right date in the title without repeats would be great, thanks!

I’ve been researching the community board for posts on exporting attachments while preserving their association to the correct column (field) and row (record). Is it correct that: as of December 2020, AirTable does not support this behavior directly however, there are third party integration tools which serve this purpose ? If AirTable doesn’t do this directly, it seems like a very significant defect/omission in the product. Thanks for any guidance on this topic.

Hi,I'm trying to set up an automation that generates tasks with due dates. For example, when I create a project with an overall due date in a "projects" table, I plan to create a record in the "tasks" table with individual tasks and due dates calculated from the project due date.So, I'm trying to get the task to calculate its own due date based on the "Send Date" field in my Projects table. I have the following formula that isn't working.I have also tried -21, "days", and a few other solutions others have seen, but I continue to get an error that says "Could not convert string to date" -- any ideas? 

Hi, I created a form in airtable so people could populate their information directly for me into my grid view. However when I sent the form, people had to ask for access - which access do I grant them? And they were asked to create an account - I did not select ' see who submitted a response to the form' at the bottom so not sure why this has happened. I have made everyone an editor but am now being told that I have too many editors for the free plan. Have been looking around but there seems to be no simple answer to this? Thanks, Lucy

I see this question has been asked and answered before Airtable updated their plans/billing structure, so checking in to see if anyone might have a solution.When creating a "send email" automation, I'm getting this message: On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails. Contact your workspace administrator to upgrade.We are on the team plan and I confirmed in the documentation (https://support.airtable.com/docs/send-an-email-action) that I should be able to "email 100 unique non-collaborator email addresses per day."Any ideas why I'm running into this and how to fix it?Thanks!

Hello, in a automation on Airtable I set up a trigger that, when someone submit a form and create a record in a table named "customer", Airtable run a script that have a vlookup function that read a "Program code" value and insert the "Program Name" from "Code" table. If the vlookup have a correspondence than the value of the cell is equal to the "Program Name" if not the cells value is "Not found".After this action I set up a script that wait 20 sec. in order to wait the update of the data in the record and then I put a condition that:If the "Program Name" is "Not found" then send an email "Code not found"Otherwise (and then it means that "Program Name" have the name of the program) then send another email with the landing page and other info. If I test manually this automation with the function "Test Automation" with a selected record  this action work correctly. When I remove all filters and show all fields, the "Download CSV" option is not available when I open options by clicking the view carrot. What am I doing wrong? - Thanks in advance.

Hello,This feels like a fairly simple question but perhaps not so.  I want to be able to have users select a record on Interface Designer, and then be able to click into that record to open up more information about it in the sidebar, as opposed to manually putting grids or fields from that record into the Interface page itself.  If I put the primary field connected to the record picker onto the interface page, it shows as text and isn't "clickable", and you can't make it such, or at least as far as I've found.  Any ideas?Here's a quick snapshot of what I'm trying to achieve.User picks an invoice, has access to the attachment and the invoice line items, but can't "click into" the invoice record to see other details.  I'd like a field right below the record picker that allows the user to open a sidebar for that invoice record.  

Hey,I've started using Airtable recently and have now run into two issues, that stopp me from really using it fully. One of them is:I use Airtable to track deliveries. We get orders which usually contain a series of Deliveries, 99% of the time containing identical items but with different order numbers and delivery dates.I'd love to have one form where a I can put in such orders, which fields to put in as many orders as needed, each creating their own issue upon submitting the form.Is that possible with Airtable and/ or Fillout for Airtable??? Second problem: I need to have items for the deliveries created. I have Inventory items, that already exist. But since items within deliveries get serial numbers, notes, etc., I can't just use them, I need to create ´Delivery Items out of Delivery + Inventory item. Hi !     Coleagues, I have a project in AirTable in a single table with 174 rows and 11 (eleven) categories that I can group these rows.     Each of these 174 tasks has its own "Start Date" and "End Date" column, with date format in it.     I want to know the earllier "Start Date" and the latest "end Date" inside each of these modules, when filtered by them.     (The objective is to show a timeline filtered by these "MODULES", using these fields with this formuila that identifies the earliest and the lates dates... I'm open to other approachs).   I achieve the first step with these two formulas. I’m trying to use the (new-ish?) “When a Button is Clicked” automation trigger. The button is on an Interface in the same table as the Automation. On the automation, the trigger’s configuration instructions are as follows; This trigger is not currently associated with any buttons in an interface. To connect: Open an interface Create or select a button Select “Trigger an automation” under “Button Type” in the properties pane Choose this automation from the list In the interface, I have the “Button type” set to “Run Automation” Under the “Table - Source” it says “Unconfigured Source,” with no options for the source. The Automation option is grayed out. So it seems like the button can’t find the Automation, but the Automation can’t be turned on because I need to fix the configuration…

Hello, I have a problem. I have a client table, a sector table, and a date time table. So I'm linking a client with one sector and some dates. What I need to do is another table to set meetings. I need a form where a company can write the company name, and then choose a sector but only show those dates from a specific sector and the company needs to be able to choose one date from those dates from the sector.  

We have a master table to track all bookings made on our platform, There is then a table for each partner location we have, I would like to automate the updating of the individual locations tables when a booking is added to the master list. Example, Booking 123 is added to master booking list for New York Store, -> Finds table named New York Store -> Adds the new records details to this table

I am using Air Table to capture costs per garment style and there are 12 versions of the costs that are available to use based on importing tariffs and shipping modes. These 12 costs are hard keyed into the base. I would like to be able to make the choice on a tariff rate and a ship mode and have the cost autopopulate into a new cell so I can link this elsewhere in my base. Is there a formula that could be used? 

I'm trying to create an automation that when I update a record then it also updates another record in a different table. I've watched several videos on Youtube on how to do this and it seems pretty straightforward enough.I created the trigger, tested it and it works fine. But the Action is where I keep running into the "Received invalid inputs" error. This is mainly due to the Record ID that's causing the issue it seems. It seems I'm not alone on this issue. I searched on here for answers but it's still doesn't help. What am I missing?Would be great if this Record ID process was simplified since Airtable doesn't show the actual Record ID itself on the tables and records.

I am trying to separate the values in the "ADKAR numerical value" column so that the first number (2) is inputted into the "Awareness value" column. Then so on where I input the next number after the comma into another column, etc.Any help is greatly appreciated! 🙂
