Am I missing something or Airtable does not have an input method to select a user (aka Collaborator)?What I want to do: create a script that first asks to select a user.I know I can create a workaround (below) but that is not my question... is there really no Collaborator input?(we are also missing a Date input since at least 3 years apparently - only solution is to parse text... for real?)Automatable workaround, for those interested:create a table, call it "Users" or somethingset two fields, Name (type: Formula)

Hi Community,I am pulling information from multiple records in a sync'd base into one record in a new base. By doing this I getting multiple images associated with this record, which I love. However some images are associated with multiple records in in the sync'd base and therefore multiples of the same image is added to the attachment. Is there a way to remove the duplicate attachments without having to do it manually? Making sure all attachments are unique.Thanks! 

I am trying to add a button in the interface designer to open up the address in google maps. I want to pass the address and city field to google mapsSo something like:"https//google.com/map/place/" & {Address} & {City} I can't seem to get it to work. Hi!I've been looking to see if it's possible to have the JIRA Cloud Extension automatically pull down to a defined table within a base at given intervals rather than to have to manually click the "Pull from Jira" button.Was looking at the automations functions and it didn't seem like it was possible. Any ideas or is manual the only way?

Hi!  Using an automation designed to send and collect wedding rsvps via a form - I customised the automation to use it for our events company.The automation uses a CRM/Contacts table, a RSVP table to collect the new responses, and a form linked to the RSVP table. A personalised link in the CRM/Contacts table is sent to each contact. This link (image attached) is a form prefilled with their name and details, and few empty fields for them to complete. The data entered into the form > feeds into the rsvp table > then updates the CRM/Contacts table records.The problem we're having is invited people are forwarding their personalised links to others for them to attend the event. Inviting new people isn't a problem - the problem is the new person overwrites the existing data/user in the CRM table (unlike a wedding where guests don't invite other guests). I have to manually go, roll back the data, and create a new record for the new person.To c

I have an Automation that triggers when a new pdf has been added via Documint.  It sends an email with the pdf document that has been added as an attachment.  The issue is it is sending all of the attachments in the field and not just the one that has been most recently added. I would like to know how I can send just the last attachment that has been added in the field and ignore the existing ones.

Is there a setting to only receive notifications if someone is "@" ?Currently seems like in our interface, once you get an "@", you are permanently watching that comment thread for all future comments. we do NOT want that. so ... Is there a setting to only be notified if you are "@" in that specific comment? OR ... is there a way to unwatch the comments from interface?OR ... is there an automation or API to constantly run to unwatch comments?OR ... a script to unfollow?

I added collaborators to my full workspace. But actually want to give them access to specific bases. Is there a way to change this permission, without removing them from the workspace and then re inviting them to specific bases instead? I have searched everywhere. I feel this should be easy and visually blatant. Yet, I’m stumped. Thanks

Hello, I recently created a weekly report using the Extension feature's Page Designer. Now I want to send this report every end of the workweek (Fridays) using automation, but could not see a straightforward way to do so. 😞 I have to manually export the report to PDF, manually attach it to my Gmail and manually send it to stakeholders.Does anyone have a workaround for this?

This feels like it should be so simple. I've got a form with roughly 30 questions on it, and I want to use Page Designer to create a PDF of each response that I can then email to respondents. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get a simple grid in Page Designer that shows the responses. The only clue I can find is that if I add a Linked Records element to Page Designer I can choose Grid Mode, but I don't have any linked records in the table, it's just collecting the form responses as they come in. I'm in the process of building my base for my business (I'm a literary agent) - I've recently discovered how useful views are and now have a much better sense of what I'm doing but I have a query and I'm wondering if there's a better way to set this up or if I really just have to duplicate these fields (I'm asking because i've seen a couple of posts that say you shouldn't ever have to duplicate fields...)So, my primary filed are the titles of each book under my agency. Using Gmail for sending emails through automations, has anyone managed to insert a checker that then tells you if the email was opened, viewed, correctly received, etc.?

I want to create an IF formula that converts a single select to a multiple select.For example, in column 1 I want the value 'Primary Care Physician' to turn into a multiple selection of 'Internal Medicine Physician' and 'Family Medicine Physician'. It seems like the default formula output is a single line text, but is there any way to convert it to a multiple select list so that the data is actually stored in a list format?
