Hey everyone,So i created an automation that email to texts a group of individuals when certain criteria are met. This is a large list of people (sometimes over 100). This works flawlessly unless someone changes their carrier... or their phone number and I have to wait for the automation to fail to see which email to text address is incorrect.This is fine however it will not send to the remaining valid email addresses it just halts the whole automation. I'm hoping to still have the automation fully fire even if one of the email addresses is invalid. Is there anyway to do this or is this a limitation of validating email addresses before sending within airtable?

I need to be able to total up sums per line from an original start date for a full year after.Example:  Original  start date                   Amount paid-1, amount paid-2, amount paid-3, etc.                  This would be calculated for 1 year, then we would have a new date to calculate the 2nd year.                 Each customer will have a separate start date so the formula would have to be connected to the start date column.              

I have five tables, each with a list of contacts. I want to identify the contacts who appear on more than one table.  One setup is: When a contact appears in two or more tables, I want to add this contact to a new "cross-check" table. The new table will have a record with the name of the individual, and the tables this name appears in. This has proven to be really cumbersome to automate.I just need some simple setup that enables us to easily see who appears on more than one table, and flag when a new contact is added and that person is already on another table. Any creative ideas for this?Thank you in advance!

I have a Sales Pipeline base, and have set up an automation to run based on a change in deal stage (to "closed-won"). This creates a new record in my Master Customer List airtable. When I filter my Sales Pipeline base and then unfilter, the automation assumes that the unfiltered "closed-won" records are new and therefore should create new records in my Master Customer List airtable. This is causing issues with mass duplications. Is there a workaround for this? 

[First time Airtable user] I am working to create a master database of contacts linked to their segments in the industry. And in those new tables I want there to be more information on the companies. Table 1: Master contact list I want this table to hold all contact information of the person including if their company that they work for is in the Top company list on other lists that I have. These lists are detailed statistics and information on each company in my industry. Other tables I thought I might have are: Clients, Topp Supplement Companies, Top Raw Material companies, etc. I need help in organizing this data to where if I go to a person. And I know they are the CEO of X company, then I can see if that company is in the other lists I have (maybe in another table?) and from there I can see all of the information I have on this company and having all of this linked… If this makes any sense at all please let me know and if you have any suggest

Hi there! I have a form that generates a single record that has multiple attachment fields. I am trying to find a way with either a script or an automation to pull all the different attachments together and print. (Maybe an automation trigger that collates all the attachments into a singular pdf and a prompt to print..?) Any suggestions? I read through some very sophisticated responses that @Jeremy_Oglesby  @JonathanBowen gave to @Matthew_Hilshor back in 2021 for a question titled "Moving Attachments"- do you guys have any ideas?

We're looking at purchasing a cheap laptop to keep onsite, but it would be so much easier to have ONE iPad, which we can easily get donated. I was searching about whether we could use chrome to view our interface on a chromebook, and I came across the above article that was posted yesterday. I have messaged support, but though I'd check here as well. The airtable version in the app store is 2 weeks old, and I am still getting the "view on desktop" message.  Looks like google play store was updated on 2/14...guess I need to wait and download it on my kid's android when she gets home from school 🙂 

AirTable acknowledges that users like to create many views. What they do not understand is that while yes, views are critical, we are forced to create more views than we want for one key lacking feature (bug IMHO):"Grouped by" view on “Multiple select” field does not separate the individual valuesE.g., if a table has one record with “Product1” available in “USA” and a second record with “Product2” available in “USA”, “Canada”, then grouping by availability will currently yield two results, “USA” and “USA, Canada”. Instead it should show “USA” with Product1 and Product 2, and “Canada” with Product2.USAProduct1Product2CanadaProduct2Of course, this gets much worse in real-world examples where you have larger numbers. I'm trying to move attachments from AT to Google Drive using Make. For some reason when the scenario runs, the files that get created in Drive are invalid. These are small png logo images and when I try to open them in Drive I get an unrecognized file format error. Here is my Make setup:Is the AT attachment URL field the correct one to be using?

Is it possible to have live market data from multiple crypto exchanges imported into my Airtable via API? (Binance, KuCoin, Coinbase, etc..)I am trying to create an app that utilizes this data. Unfortunately, I failed to get this done myself.The data I need to have live data for are "Symbol," "Ask Price," "Bid Price," and "Trade Volume."I would appreciate if anyone could provide any guidance. 

I am trying to figure out a way to generate a bar chart of our active customers.Each of our customer records have a "start date" and an "end date" when they were active. I can easily graph the "start dates" (see attachment) but this doesn't show our cumulative numbers including people who are still active customers. If someone stops being a customer, I still want them to be counted for the years they were active, but not from their cutoff date.The closest I have come to doing this is by linking to another table that has a list of years and basically manually adding customers to years they were active, but surely there is a better way to do this. We have hundreds and hundreds of people. Maybe there's a formula that can do something clever, dunno.Ideas?

Hello all, We use Airtable to manage our auto export business, mainly for keeping track of documents in/out and car movements from one warehouse to another. I’m trying to create a table where we can keep track of where / when / who happened to the docs It is linked to our Master table which has all the main vehicle info (vin / make / model / customer / price…etc) , but our Master table has a “stock number”(autonumber) as Primary field. When I setup a new table called Doc Tracking, then Link to Master, when you add a record, it only looks up the Primary field, but not able to search by partial vin. It’s kind of cumbersome to enter by “stock number”, which we only use for filing purpose. we always go by the VIN for everything else. Is there a way to define which field the “Link to another Record” looks up? Thanks

Hi, My team have being using the Airtable and the Kanban view for almost two years now. We have for a while lacked/cant set up a link between two tickets on the board. Just a simple link, so we don't forget an input or task.Is this possible? and how would i set this up?thanks! BestM 

Hello, I have a question that I am having trouble finding an exact answer for; my company manages week-long events at a large scale and I'm trying to determine how much it would cost to allow several temporary collaborators on a specific base for a week.I know that Airtable bills per user prorated by day, so does that mean if I bring in 5 users for 5 days and the monthly cost is $24/month, would the answer be $0.80/day per user*5 users*5 days= $20 total added to the invoice? I hope this makes sense, let me know if you need any more context! 

Hi, I’m using Airtable to manage my library. I was hoping I could use it to automatically calculate the due date based on the date I loaned the book out. For example, if I loaned the book on the 5th of October, I want to add 14 days and have a column saying 19 October for due date. How do I do this? Regards

I'm pasting a single-line text field ("Whisky Name") into a linked field ("Link to Summary Page"), and it used to paste all the names across into the linked field. The action was that if a name matched with an existing one, it linked it to the existing one and if it didn't, it created a new line in the summary table.When I pasted all the single-line texts across, it matched the existing ones and left all the ones that would be 'new' items blank. I know this because if I manually select the link cell, type in the name (nothing shows up), and 'click create a new record' it works. In that case, if I have a duplicate further down and I try the copy-and-paste method, it works because it now has a match.Has something changed?

 Hi, this should be really simple but there doesn't seem to be a way of displaying percentage of a total (fields meeting certain conditions).Basically I have a list of leads. Each one is labelled as "converted to customer", "converted to partner" or has a blank field.Instead of just counting the number of records meeting the conditions above, I would like to know the percentage of conversions to customer and conversions to partner,  and display this on an interface page.Thanks. 

I have a pretty basic automation that when a record is updated, a separate record in another table is updated with information from the first record.My problem is, a lot of the fields (which are populated through a public form) are optional and so many are blank, and this causes the automation to fail. It seems really strange to me, as I assume this would be a very common occurrence and that Airtable automations have no way to deal with it?I would like my automation to run and for the populated fields to update, and for the fields that have no value in them to either be ignored or to update with a blank value (it really doesn't matter which). I have trawled the internet looking for this solution but can't find anything.Any ideas?

I am creating a form for our website that I will need external users to fill out. I want to minimize user input error so I have created a table with state names/abbreviations to link to the form. When they start to fill out the state it populates options they can pick, but is there a way to make this look better by eliminaing showing where the data is going (it shows 'Leads' the table where it is going and I don't want customers to see that). Or is there a way to easily upload the state abbreviations that I have in the table without manually entering them all as a single select drop down option?Last question, I love the look of the interface form but from what I can tell this is not something you can share with outside airtable users via our website? Other than having them creative an airtable login, is this correct?

I'm trying to figure out a way to have some sort of pop-up window with filtered records based on certain criteria or simply just show a filtered main view.I've managed to create an automation based on a certain amount of days + a certain status. Works fine when I test the automation but I'm not entirely sure how I can show this within Airtable.The idea being that these customers are a priority so our sales guy needs to focus on this task first

Hello, I have a table with attendance records (which meeting participates complete via form), and each person chooses their 'team name." There's another field with "session" that is a dropdown (these are monthly meetings, so choices are November Monthly Meeting, December Monthly Meeting, January ..... it's a program that runs Oct - May, 8 months.)I have a Teams table and set a rollup field for each month that tells me how many attendance records their are, and restricted it to that one month. I did this for each month, so that will tell me how many people attended each month. However, besides the number I added another field for each month with a status. I am building an automation to turn the status to "attended" if the rollup field is not zero. It contains a persons name, contact details  product and product reference, etcSecond table is a list of vendors/suppliers that have that particular product with product reference. The data is not entirely clean (structured) on the "new leads" table as the leads contain messages/text containing the reference number within it. First question: Is it possible to group and filter the new lead table with the vendor list in a way that would show the vendors that could supply to the following lead, using the product reference.Example:Lead Column: New Lead - Hi i am interested in "Item 123123-001" Vendor Column: Reference: 123123-001Would and could i need to use a formula to identify the reference within the l

Without the option to select multiple records, we are required to set dependencies to move more than 1 record at a time. We need the option to click/drag to highlight the records we want directly on the timeline, and then grab and move them all at once.This is available in the non-interface Gantt view. Please make it available in the Interface Timelines too!
