Hello all!I use airtable e.g. for recording and analyzing event data. In event data i have "start" date and time, and "end" date and time.When I set the filter "the past number of days" (e.g. 30 days) to the event data, it would appear that the current day + 30 previous days are included.Today (10/6/2023) when I apply that example filter, the events of 9/6/2023 are included, even though the current day + 30 days have passed since thenIs this the way it's supposed to work or am I doing something wrong?

I have several used cases that I’ve been able to manage well with cloud functions. However the only use case that I cannot find a way to manage is how to update my firebase database when a airtable record is updated, I can use zappier to keep my db updated when a new record is created, but there is not support (as far as I know) from update records. Has anyone crossed with this case?

Hello. Still fairly new to Airtable and working to better understand formulas. I'm looking for input on the following.We have a rental space where rates are set based on duration (up to 4 hours, up to 6 hours, all day). I've set up a table for Rental Rates. Separately, I have a table for rental details, and this includes a duration field ("1st Day Duration") calculated based on rental start and end times.I'm trying to figure out how to create a formula that calculates the correct rental rate based on the duration and then pulling the correct rental rate. So for example, if a duration is 3 hours, the fee would be $x (since that's the "Up to 4 hours" fee). But if the duration is 7 hours, the fee would be $x since it would be a "Full day" rental.One other variable. I'm not sure how to plan for future rental rate changes, so that when rates change existing entries do not change (only newer entries). I'm assuming this starts with a date variable tied to rate increase

I have a series of formulas and automations set up to automatically determine a project's "project number". So I have hundreds of records in my "Projects" table. A dozen of them might have the same exact project number. This comes up pretty often.I want to create an additional field, that just automatically links all projects that have the same project number as each other. What would be the best way to do this?I have a feeling this might be a job for a script but I have no experience writing script. I've tried with chat GPT but got so many errors I wasn't able to make any progress.Thanks in advance for any help!

hello!I have a simple automation that finds a value in one record, finds the match in another table and links it in the source table. Hello all! I am trying to figure out if it is possible to use a regular spreadsheet view to input data and then use that view to export to a custom template PDF/CSV/Form. For example, I have a master list I am trying to see if I can export into two separate custom templates. One would be for client information and the other would be for our information. I am looking to see if I could create two custom templates that certain fields would be linked to the master list. Those fields would only export to the template that I have chosen to export to. All of the information will be pulled from one master record and exported to different custom templates.

It is essential for my job to be able to collect data with multilingual forms, but then aggregate the results in the same answer field. For the survey part, Airtable allow very conveniently to reformulate the questions in the form view in as many languages as I want, and that is a no brainer.Where the things get complicated is when the survey includes a single or a multiple choice question.For the single choice, I've found a very practical solution:Insert all the possible answers in all the languages in a single choice field, then generate as many form as the languages and for each one filter out all the answers that are not in the correct language. Finally, aggregate all the answers in another field with a SWITCH Formula, as shown in this example here:

Integration with make.com + airtableI want to automate posting on different social media channels based on information in an Airtable database. After each successful post, I want to update a status column in Airtable to reflect which social media platform the post is live on.The issue I'm facing is that the status column keeps getting overwritten, so only the latest post's status is shown, instead of all the platforms the post is live on.I've tried using this command:{{merge(6.Live Status; add(emptyarray; "Live - FB"))}}The command works when there's pre-existing data in the Airtable cell BEFORE the router. However, it fails to recognize the updated status created after the router for each post. It seems to only read the Airtable data from before the router was introduced.Can anyone help? see attached screenshot for the scenario. Thanks

Volunteers are attending some sessions and working other sessions. I have a field for each volunteer's Attendance Time Slots, another field for Work Time Slots, and a third field called Conflict?. There are several (up to five) time slots listed in the Attendance column and in the Work column. I'd like to check to see if ANY one or more of the time slots in the Attendance column matches ANY one or more of the time slots in the corresponding Work column for that volunteer. If so, then I'd like the output in the Conflict? field to be "YES" (otherwise, "no"). In other words, I need the Conflict col

I have three tables: People, Time, and Projects (which is synced from another base). In the Time table, there is a list of time entries. Alongside other fields, each entry is linked to one People record and one Projects record.What I would like to achieve is a List view of the Projects with the following structure:- Project (sum of all time - this I can accomplish with Rollup)--- People (with the sum of time spent on the particular project)------ Time entriesHowever, it's not working because there is no direct linked connection between People and Projects. Wondering if there's any way to make this work...I have a formula field that pulls info from multiple fields & concatenates it all together to create an email (content) to be delivered to the person associated with that record.I want to include a Loom video gif in these emails. (To be clear: This is one shared video link/gif which is going out to everyone. Not unique videos for each person.)Is there any way to do this within Airtable? I'm aware that I could simply paste in the Loom URL. Is it possible to make an extension that specifically deals with the Form view, namely to add new form field types? I'm looking to try and make a linked record field that allows you to create new linked records, but everything in the Blocks SDK API mostly seems to revolve around manipulating the base itself, or making an extension-only view of a base's data.Is this not possible? Is something like miniExtensions just building a whole new form view from scratch? (Note: I have looked at Fillout, but I'm mildly concerned about data privacy and would like to see if it's feasible through extensions alone.)

We are currently opening prefilled interface forms via url but have noticed since the forms upgrade if you open more than one form at a time it copies the partially filled form results.Our use case requires us to have more than one form being used at a time on the same browserIs this a Google Chrome issue or an Airtable issue?Is there anything I could add to the URL to clear any cached data every time a form opens?I know there is a clear form link at the bottom of the form page but didn't need to do this on the old interface form setup?Any help appreciated 

Hi,It's been several months since I've done this, but basically, I'm trying to send an automation from a clicked button in an AT interface to a Make webhook that I've created. The automation so far was when a button is clicked > run a script. I've been able to successfully pull in a test record id via the "when a button is clicked" stage -- my field is named "rec_id" with the autogenerated formula and that works fine.FYI--when I hardcode the rec_id in there with the actual value, it works just fine with significantly less code. But with the code below--whenever I get to this step below, it just doesn't work. Can anyone help? Thanks!let recordID = input.config().rec_id;

So, for learning purposes, I have a next review date I input when I create a field.I've set up an automation to email me the matter of the field when the review date arises. I also want to setup an automation to increase the next review date by 3 days when the date arises.How do I do this? I can also see a specific date option in the date section of the automation.

I am trying to implement a button for each record in an interface that increments a field in the record. I can get this working in grid view with a button field and a script. But when I go to the interface, all the buttons are disabled.I can get this working in an Records Review or List layout interface with a interface button element and an automation with a script in it. But the user has to click on each record to open the record detail view to see the button. Is there a way to put an enabled button visible for each record in an interface? 

We are looking using a Timeline or perhaps Gantt to assess producer workload at a glance. I have a Gannt and Timeline working at a basic level but need additional detail.I would like our team to input milestone dates into the base spreadsheet for each project line, to have those milestones show and update in the project blocks in Timeline/Gantt. Is there a way to include Milestones from date columns in a spreadsheet?Thanks

I hope all is well!Sooooo, Im wanting to create a smoother process for sending out invoices to my sub-contractors for a work week (Mon- Sun). I have come across a bump!Let's pretend this work week is Feb/12 - Feb/18 (Mon-Sun)So I have two tables:1. Booking Details: ignore the entry at the bottom, it's not part of the pretend work week2. Payout Details Now, The info from table 1 contains a job record: who worked it, the price, the date, etc. In this case, all those jobs were worked by "test@gmail.com" (one person). These jobs were done in different days but in the same Work week of Feb.12-Feb.18. Table 2 is supposed to put all the jobs together

My base is gone along with my spreadsheet. I emailed the support team a few days ago. Haven't heard back yet. Any idea how long it typically takes to hear back? 

We are trying to integrate SendGrid in the Airtable Extensions. I created a new API key in SendGrid and verified my email, however, upon trying to finish the integration, I get the following error: Invalid SendGrid API key or sender email address. Any suggestions? I have already tried creating a new API and re-verifying the email.

I have two buttons on the same table, each triggers a script and then sends a webhook to a third-party service. One works and the other does not. During the debugging process, I copy and paste the exact same code into the two scripts, and one works, but the other always says "O: TypeError: Failed to fetch at line 10" and that's the line that triggers the Webhook. It's rather strange given the two scripts are identical. Is there any limitation that one cannot have two scripts within one table? I'm creating a webhook that fires when a specific field in a record in Airtable is updated using the 'Create a webhook' endpoint. Doing so returns the default 200 response with the id of the new webhook in the response. The issue is that the webhook does not fire, and when I call the 'List webhooks' endpoint, I receive a 404 response with the error message "NOT_FOUND."I made a screen recording in Postman to show what I mean. Is this a bug?For additional context, after creating the first webhook, I successfully triggered it. However, I wanted to make changes and attempted to delete it so that I could create a new webhook. Upon calling the 'Delete a webhook' endpoint, I received a 404 response, after which point I was no longer able to trigger the webhook.
