Relatively new to scripts, but I think I am starting to get the hang of it.Basically, I am trying to convert a currently overloaded automation into a script for easier maintenance and better customization. Overly simplified automation process:If record is updated > set [Ticket Status] = [Status] for that recordThe script so far: let table = base.getTable("Quick Adds"); let inputConfig = input.config(); await table.updateRecordAsync(inputConfig.RecordId,{ "Ticket Status" : inputConfig.Status }) console.log(`The value of Status is ${inputConfig.Status}`); If I remove the "await" line, everything runs and it outputs the status value. When I run the script with the addition of updating the second field, I get a "Error: Field "fldjRCz6y0ku2XxIY" cannot accept the provided value." for line 3.inputConfig.

There are a few options to fill in external forms by filling them with the data coming from Airtable. I mentioned earlier Selenium https://www.selenium.dev/ but it has a high learning curve and working with code.There is another more user friendly app Katalon based on Selenium https://katalon.com/ , but still requires working with code and this requires manual loading of CSV.There is Axiom https://axiom.ai/ which is quite good but pricing is quite high to get Make or Zapier integration, although the lower tear works with Google Sheets.And then there is https://browserflow.app/ which works via Google Sheets The main issue I have is how

Hi Everyone, I want to create multiple forms to gather contacts for different reasons - Subscribers who want our newsletter Those who want to download our resource Those who fill out our profile form All of the forms capture Name, Email and then they have different fields. I want to keep all these contacts in the same table. I was hoping to have one table with 3 different form views. The issue is, I want to track how each contact came in, and I can’t figure out how to tag the submitted responses by the form they submitted. Instead, I have these split across different tables and I manually tag each, then copy/paste new responses into a master list. Am I missing something obvious here? I keep all the tables structured the same so the copy/paste to master is easy.

I am in search of a roadmap to becoming a certified expert on Airtable. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?Would be greatly appreciated. 

I am currently developing a restaurant app in Bravo connected to Airtable, and I could use some assistance. I've created a script on Airtable that selects a random record from my database of restaurants. The objective is to display the image of a randomly chosen restaurant from Airtable when a specific button is clicked within my Bravo app.I'm facing two challenges:I need to make an API call to my Airtable script, but I'm unsure how to obtain the API URL for the script. In the image enclosed it's said "your script code (including any sensitive data or API keys) will be visible in shared base links" but I don't see the result of the Airtable script in Bravo. Is it due to my billing plan?I'm struggling with data binding to trigger the event in Bravo and execute the script.Your guidance on these matters would be greatly appreciated. We have a table called Documents and I want to use a formula that pulls the name of the file in the {Attachment} field in order to provide the Name of the record. I've been using the LEFT({Attachments},FIND("(",{Attachments})-1) for this purpose and it works great, but I've now found that if the name of the attached file contains a comma, then the formula name adds a quotation mark at the beginning of the name. So now I'm trying to combine the SUBSTITUTE and FIND formulas to:1. Look at the name of the attached file, and if it contains a comma then replace it with a hyphen (eg. 'Ocala, FL' becomes 'Ocala-FL' )  2. Then use the name of the attached file as the name of the record without the URL at the end (using the FIND formula). Another acceptable option would be to just remove the comma from any

Is there any way to be notified when a base has no new records in a period of time.I'm creating a base where managers need to leave a new record at least once every 30 days.  I want to be alerted when they have NOT left a new record since the last one was posted.Anyone know of a way to do this?

Hi there,In the last few months we been happy with getting an email on each new lead being created in one of our tables. The email contains all the needed data relevant for our sales team. BUT i'd really want that email to contain an attachment which is a .eml file (email) which is populated specifically with the records data. How can i accomplish this?Goal is to minimize errors when our sales rep copy/paste the data from the email. 

Hello,Looking at the current Airtable fields API, there doesn't seem a way to view or modify the filters for count and rollup fields. If I look at the field options for either of these field types, this does not seem to be supported. Is there a possibility to create a rollup field with a filter programmatically, and/or to see which filters are applied on an existing rollup field?If this is currently not feasible, do we know if there are any plans to implement this in the future?Thank you in advance.

I have embedded a “grid view with grouping by date” into a page on my website. When I view it in a browser on my desktop it looks fine. But when I view it in a browser on my Android phone (mobile), the grouping does not show and there is no menu bar at the top of the grid view. Hello Airtable Community! I am relatively new to the platform and looking to build a solution to track work relationships and contract info for individuals as part of an organization. Right now, I have multiple tables, one for each "level" or "grouping" of employment (Regional Directors, Program Managers, Program Associates, Country Staff, Consultants, etc). I also have tables for each level of organization (region, country). I have them linked to one another to show relationships (so, for example, each record in the Regional Directors tab has a column for the region they direct, the countries in that region, the program managers in their region, program associates in their region, country staff in their countries, etc, all pulled from the other tables).I have found that these separate tables are necessary because each class of info has different fields that it needs. Hi all, I have a tracking base for our student organization.  It keeps records of each student involved as well as their involvement (ie attendance, rsvp's, even leases).I'm working to create Interfaces so the other staff members can have a more visually appealing way to view the information.  They are very overwhelmed by the data side of the base haha.  Here's what I'm hoping to do:I have a List Interface page for the students.  Each student record can be clicked into.  In the Record Detail screen, I want to include the fields that link to the various attendance, rsvp, etc records - these will be view-only, just for reference.  But some of these will have a LOT of records linked in them (for our more active members) and that would be overwhelming.  Is there a way to limit the number of records to, say, the last 5 attendances with a little button to load more if they want to?So far, I have tried viewing that field as a List whi

Hello, I'm trying to merge a CSV but the field that I need to map to is not available to select. I can't select the field I need as the merge field. It is not one of the options in the "choose a field" drop down.

I have a Teams plan and recently discovered that you can only have 50 Automations per base (I don't know if this is a plan limitation or not, just providing details). NOT a limitation that I've ever seen displayed anywhere on plan details or comparison pages.So it's a bit frustrating after investing a lot of time and effort into building out my base (including nearly 5k VERY detailed records), with lots of additional work in the pipeline to expand the base's capabilities, only to find out now that, as is, it will never be able to do what I need it to do. Development has come to a screeching halt because I literally cannot create an additional Automation...To resolve this, (I'm thinking) it will require a completely different approach to my base design. Instead of keeping everything under one base, I'll need to split tables off into their own bases. I guess I'll have to MANUALLY 😠 re-create all the Automations related to that table into the new base

I am using an automation that uses a script to append a record to another table's linked field. Dear Community, hope someone can help me out with this!The formula below indicates based on {Check in date} and {Check out date} how many months a booking of a rental apartment is actually in the current quarter. However in this formula, when the check in date is higher then the 17th of the month in gives one month less. So lets say check in date 17th of October and check out on the last day of December, it gives 3 months. Anything above the formula gives 2 months. However, this is not correct. For any date above the 17th of the month it should also give 3 months as the booking falls into 3 months of the quarter. Obviously if a new month start then it should give 2 months so 1/11 till 31/12 is 2 months. Can someone please help me write a correct formula for this?The formula below was created by Airtable support, but incorrect and they did not want to help me further! Thank you so much!!!ROUND

Hello, I have a table where I keep my website’s customers email addresses. I would like to create a random and Unique IDs for every email that I add to the table. Also, if the same email is entered more then one time, the ID should be the same as the first email. Is it possible to do something like it on airtable? Thanks

Hello, I am having a table in Airtable with Subscriptions. Each subscription record has its subscriber data containing the following fields:First NameLast NameAddressZip CodeCityBut each subscription can be assigned to a person more than once. So persons can have several subscriptions at the same time. I want to create unique IDs based on the subscriber fields from above (first name, last name, address, zip code, city). If there are subscriptions with the same person, the Unique ID (of the subscriber) should be the same. So basically I want to avoid duplicate people having a different ID. They should have the same ID.How can I do this with a formula? Thanks a lot for your help, Michael

Hey all I've created an automation where when a form is submitted - a record is updated. However! Sometimes there isn't a record to update, so it needs to be created first. So I need to create a process like this:WHEN a form is submitted AND record exists UPDATE it. IF record doesn't exist CREATE itBut the automation is getting stuck on the first part and fails to run into the second. I've taken a screen shot to show what I mean. How can I fix this?Thanks!

Hi, I currently have this formula as part of a Task Days Remaining column: IF({Due Date}, DATETIME_DIFF({Due Date}, TODAY(), 'days'))Is there a way to update the formula... so that when another AT column (i.e. a task completed "checkbox" field) is marked complete, the value in the Days Remaining cell turns to a ✅... or even turn blank?The reason I'm doing this is because even after I mark a row (task) complete, the numerical value in the Days Remaining cell becomes a "-" number (eg. -3). So instead of seeing lots of - numbers, I'd prefer to have completed task cells become blank instead (or ✅ if blank isn't possible). Thanks in advance!Christopher
