HiI am new on Interface, and I need to know it the thing I want to do can be done and how.  I have a database with thousands of records o cases we are working on.  I need to be aware and in control of several situations, each record is about a case and every case needs start with a formal notification to the a 3rd party, so in the table there is a field with the notified title and 2 posible answers yes or not.In my interface I want to see how many cases have not been notified,  I know I can create a Page in the interface with a record summary and a filter, an then create a button on the interface to open the record summary page.  But, what I want to do is not only see all the cases that are not notified, but also have the possibility to open each record in a diferente page, and work with the record, like edit the fields.  Is that posible? 

Hi folks, It's just a simple question that I wasn't able to find an answer inside Airtable documentation. Is there a maximum number of files allowed in an attachment field? Or is it tied to the max size limit of 5GB?Thanks

I am trying to create an automation that will update a record. I want to add a linked record from one field (Field A) to a different field (Field b). Field A will have only one linked record in it. Field B allows multiple linked records. Right now, whenever i update the record with the info from Field A, it either overwrites everything that was in Field B or it creates a new linked record that merges the info that was in Field A with the info that was previously in Field B. Is it possible to automate this kind of update? thanks for any help! is this possible?

Hello My department is trying to decide whether to move forward with Airtable or not and the feasibility of the items below would help us decide. Is it possible to do the following in a native airtable form? If so, could someone please tell me the specific steps I should take? I’m currently using the trial version. Unfortunately I can’t use any third party integration but I can use the extensions currently offered within airtable.1/ Can Airtable auto populates fields whenever a selection is made in another field?I thought “link to another record” was it but apparently it isn’t.There are project IDs that the form submitter will choose from a drop-down that are linked to specific tasks, owner names and other values that need to be auto-populated whenever said project ID is selected 2/ Is there a way to create an automation between my form and main excel spreadsheet in Airtable

I have a table from Base A that I've synced to Base B. I no longer need this specific table in Base B, so I would like to delete it. If I delete the synced table in Base B, will it also be deleted in Base A?I checked different threads and couldn't find a definite answer and I definitely don't want to proceed until I know for sure.  Thank you!

Hi there,I'm working on an integrated communications calendar for the upcoming year, and there are some dates where we do not want multiple communications going out. So, I'm trying to figure out the best way to either black out the date (i.e. if someone enters the date no comms should go out when creating a record or filling out a form to create a record, they are forced to choose another date), or at least have a prompt that says "no communications this day, please select another date." Unsure if this would be a function, automation, etc. -- slightly new to Airtable, so any insight would be helpful. Thanks! 

I have a multipart task that I think can surely be accomplished with a few formulas. I looked around the forums for a while and I think I have an idea but I haven't been able to put it all together yet! Basically I have lookup field collating all the dates that a certain client has ads scheduled across multiple products. For our scheduling purposes, the first of each month have a "- [Month]" text added. I want to identify the first date among this group of dates, for a notification automation to let the team know when this client's contract starts. Using a Formula or Rollup field I can transfer that into a string separated by commas. From here, my general understanding is I need to:> Strip out the text so its just dates (I tried REGEX_REPLACE but it also removed everything after the first instance of text. Hi Does anyone know of a way to ‘Filter’ a ‘Date’ column by something similar to “this week”? Basically, I’m just trying to create a Grid View that shows - via a Filter - all enquiries that have been received ‘this week’ (which is from Monday through to Sunday of the week I’m looking/accessing the View in). Hey there!I am very new to Airtable. I wanted to connect PowerAutomate to Airtable. I want to use Airtable as alternative to Google Sheets. I created a token in the settings, used the table and base ID (pulled it out of the link like described in the Airtable Documentary) to configure the PowerAutomate step. Then I got a connection prompt asking for the API and a Name. I entered the token I created in https://airtable.com/create/tokens/new and then, tested the flow. Everytime I did that I got the Error: "Authentication required". I thought maybe its because airtable wants to remove API's completely but I am pretty sure I am just doing something simple totally wrong. How do I have to do it right? Best Regards

Hello, I have posted about 15 questions this board and I have always received a solution my problem. So thank you all very much. I think I have a really tough one this time. I have a base to manage memberships and donations and legacy gifts for a not for profit. There are 6 membership levels with specific dollar amounts attached to them. So all is well as long as a person pays an amount that corresponds to an existing membership level. But when they pay an amount that is not a preexisting level, I have to assign the difference to a donation.I have a Currency field that records the actual amount paid. I have a formula field (thank you Alexey_Gusev) that shows the membership level closest to the payment amount. For instance, $35 would show as an Individual membershi which is set at $25. I need to then add the remaining $10 the donation field. The next level is $45 for a Family level. To be completely honest, I have no idea where to even

I have the following tables:WorkflowsStepsWorkflow RunsStep RunsThe Workflows table contains a list of workflow names, e.g. "New client onboarding workflow".The Steps table contains all the steps within each workflow and I have a link back to the workflow table to know which step relates to which workflow.I have automations in place so that when someone wants to run the workflow it will add a record to the Workflow Runs table and then another automation that will pull all the steps from the Steps table and add them to the Step Runs table linked back to the relevent row in the Workflow Run table.This has allowed me to create an interface where anyone can see the progress of the Workflow Runs and Step Runs that they're assigned to.What I'm struggling with is how I can add unique sub-steps to each step similar to how it is done on the dedicated workflo

I have an expense base.It has two tables - All Expenses and Budget.The All Expenses table contains a form that is filled out by anyone submitting an expense. It will categorize based on program, sub-program, and category within that program.The Budget table contains every category of budget items. The overall program, then the hierarchy of sub-program and category within the program.The automation I created triggers upon the creation of a record in the All Expenses table via the form. It is set to find records that match in program, sub-program, and category. Once found, it will update the budget item record in the Budget Table. I have the free version of Airtable and am trying to find where I can see my data usage per page. I was told to look for my workspace settings page, but I cannot find that. Also. I keep getting a message that I've exceeded my record limit, however I am still able to upload attachments. Anyone know where to find your data usage, and has anyone gotten record limit warnings even though you are still able to add attachments?

Images to make it easier to understand. When a record gets the single select category “Investment from private”, this automation triggers. This is synced directly from my business bank account every day. This is the record i want to update: Thought i had it covered with this automation: Buuuuut the automation overwrites the linked records instead of adding to the end of it. Is there any simpler way to deal with this? Do i have to use a script instead? This is for a client that deals with tons of transactions and i have to make a separate table categorizing cashflow.

After a record’s field changes from ‘Stage 1’ to ‘Stage 2’ I need to print the record. When it changes from ‘Stage 2’ to ‘Stage 3’ I need to print the record in a different layout. The Page Designer Block seems to do a great job creating the print layout, but I don’t see a way to trigger it for the record I’m editing (instead of searching for the record within the Page Designer Block). I also don’t see a way automatically trigger these prints. Is it possible? Any advice? It seems like external tools like Webmerge and Zapier might be involved, is that the case? Thanks, Mike

Hi there;I'm very new both to Airtable and formulae, so I hope this is just a beginner's issue and is not a function or possibility currently beyond the possibilities Airtable provides.I have a formula field (Sim Required?) that I would like to populate a green checkmark from a combination of possible options in the multiple select field (TikTok / Instagram / Router).The multiple select field has 4 options:TikTok 1, TikTok 2, Instagram and Router.I would like the green checkmark to appear under these conditions:TikTok 1 only is selected.TikTok 2 only is selected andBoth TikTok 1 and TikTok 2 are selected.I've managed to have the checkmark appear only when TikTok 1 is selected; when I try with only TikTok 2 or a combination of 1 and 2, the green checkmark doesn't appear.Thanks for any help you provide,

Hello beautiful people.I have a table with 100 kids channels maybe more in future. as we have different territories we push our channels to, we needed to shuffle those channels according to the territory. so manual adjust is needed. The main request here is : to be able to change a channel order Manually like I wanted Tigilli channel to be No 1 instead of 5. Now I have Smurfs TV as 1 , it should update to no 2 and Disney Plus channel is there is No 2 , it should update to No 3 and goes on till the end of list.As Logic : when I change the order value in a #Order field what should happens is all other higher values including the same older value that i have changed should update (+1) the numbers order sequentially according to that to still give me 100 channels with the new order.
