I have a column that has strings of option lists, and I would like to extract only one option "COLOR=" ,between the comma & " "(space), from them. These option lists sometimes include different language letter so It must extract english only.Here we have four examples of the string that shows the pattern.COLOR=WHITE 화이트, DETAIL=NONESLEEVE=SHORT 쇼트, COLOR=SKY BLUESLEEVE=LONG, COLOR=GRAY, TOP=DOUBLECOLOR=LIGHT YELLOW 밝은 노랑=>>>> I would like to see >>>>COLOR=WHITECOLOR=SKY BLUECOLOR=GRAYCOLOR=LIGHT YELLOWI tried REGEX-EXTRACT({option column},"COLOR=[a-zA-Z]+.*[a-zA-Z]+)"but obviously it includes after comma as well. something with '*,+' was recommended but do not know how to combine these..Thanks for the help in advanced!

My automation has to update the Currency field with the formula field value. The formula field contains a number formatted as currency.When testing automation I receive an error message "Fields" could not be converted to a string that I can not figure out. The updated field is currency (which is basically the number in fact) and the source field is the number as well.I will appreciate any ideas and hints on what's the problem and solution

Hi all, We are looking to find out if it is possible to create a table view that follows the pattern in the screenshot. We tried using lists but it only gave 1 layer of information, for the second layer there needs to be a new Table of contents, however, all our content is located in one master info sheet that is populated from a form. How can we achieve this view? Also maybe there is a way to create a personalized UI ?Thanks

Hi, I have two use cases to solve: 1. (To simplify) the base is made from experiments (that contain) Sessions (that contain) Observations. Each experiment is matched to multiple codes. I have to create observation in context of session and assign code from experiment sets. 2. A session can contain one or more person. I have to assign a specific person to observation, it will be easier if I can select from persons that are related to the session.I'm quite new in Airtable. Is there a way to solve this two use cases? 

Hi everyone!I'd need help creating a formula that adds a number if there is one or more duplicate of that record.Example: if i have two record 'maria', one should be 'maria-1' and the other 'maria-2' or similar.For now i've tried a workaround using autonumbe, making a formula {name} & {number} but so they're not numbered sequentially by duplicates, just by the table order.Any ideas?

I've created an automation to link the submissions of two forms together based on the email a customer inputs. Presuming that they input the correct email in both forms without typos, it will link them no problem.I've just noticed today that if one email is all lower case and one has an uppercase letter then it won't connect the two even though it's spelt exactly the same.I understand there are formulae that I can use to correct the case, but I want to manage this through the automations. Is there a way to create a find record condition that is "Where *email address* is *email address*" that isn't case sensitive?

We have several bases that we need to synch to a primary base. All fields need to synch except one. We have downloadable files that we need to change out for each synched base, but cannot edit them once we synch once we do this. Does anyone know how we can synch our bases and leave that once column editable?

  Hey guys,I just started using AirTable today and i'm going crazzy on how to set up a percentage formula.I have column A which is named goal (set up as number), column B, which is names Actual (also set up as a number field), and column C which is the variance of the two. I'm trying to create a 4th column which would show me the variance in percentage and would be great if I would be able to also show it as a progress bar. Now, I have figured out the percentage bar, but how do I get the actual percentage instead of me having to calculate it every time?Is it actually doable?I have included a screenshot so you guys can better understand me 🙂Thank you everyone!

I have TWO workspaces using the PRO STARTER PACK.Yes, the mysterious product no one has heard of. It was a blog post that's now vanished but you can read about it here: https://community.airtable.com/t5/other-questions/how-to-add-users-to-quot-pro-starter-pack-quot/td-p/129452 It was a dream come true. 5 seats x  350.00 a year all in. I loved it because it's basically just OLD PRO with an extra 100.00 fee to get four seats thrown in.I have NO idea how many people got access to it.NEW PRICING:I for ONE love the new pricing because I wanted a SMB version of Enteprise.That said, I have no idea what is happending to PRO STARTER PACK.I asked in the last community call, but I was only told answers would be coming.

Hello, I'm trying to integrate Airtable with the Flexera SaaS Manager tool to capture details regarding usage and license in Flexera. I went through the steps of generating a token and landed on a page that says I need to grant Flexera Access. However, the "Grant Access" is not active - or if I click on it nothing loads. Can someone please help me? 

I have a base to manage volunteers and volunteer events. There's a Volunteers table to store volunteer information (name, email, phone, etc.). There's an Events table with details about volunteer events. There's a table called Volunteer Signups that shows which volunteers are signed up for which events.I use a form to register new or returning volunteers. The form fills in the details on the Volunteer Signups table. An automation then creates a new record in the Volunteers table if the volunteer's email is not in the system yet. If the email is in the system, a new Volunteers record is not created.Returning volunteers will then have multiple events listed on the Volunteer Signups table, one for each event they have signed up for over time. I want to have a linked record in the Volunteers table that shows only the most recent event they have signed up for. Right now I'm only able to show the first event they signed up for, not any subsequent events. What do I need to ch

I have built an Airtable structure that utilizes the Created date/time field type to track when a record is added. This Airtable solution will replace an Excel version of the same data. The Excel version contains 2 years worth of data with it’s own creation date column. When I come to import this data into Airtable, the Created date/time field is going to return a value of the import date/time and rightfully, not the real creation date from Excel, This means when I develop charts such as Records added by month, the imported data will always be linked to the import month. I will not be able to use the Created date/time field to analyse the historical data. What is the best way to only have to use one creation field date (without the user manually choosing the creation date on a form) to track the actual creation date of both historical and current/future data?

Please helpppI have multiple linked records inside a single record that I would like spread out into seperate rows with all the other information copied over. Something in my automations or my linking isn't right, but after two days of arguing with it, I need some help. Thanks!

Hello,We are currently at 38,500 records. I'm curious how others are handling their data once they hit 50,000.Do you duplicate the base, delete all records and continue on (thus leaving all your fields, automations intact)?Looking for suggestions.Thanks!

Ok so here's the main formula I'm trying to use for my "Monday Pay Hours" fieldIF({Monday Start} = BLANK(), 0,DATETIME_DIFF({Monday End}, {Monday Start}, 'minutes'))/60-0.5This gives me the exact hours worked, minus a half hour lunch break It's almost perfect, but what I need is to tell it that - IF the formula all the way up to here: IF({Monday Start} = BLANK(), 0,DATETIME_DIFF({Monday End}, {Monday Start}, 'minutes'))/60equals less than 5, then don't add the last step of subtracting the 0.5. 

Hi Community!I'm setting up an automation to remind users to update their records. So the idea is to send email reminders in 3, 6, 9 and 12 months since the last update.I'm using an automation triggering by a formula field that simply calculates the number of months since the last update was made.All good there!However, some emails are invalid (user likely entered wrongly), so I'd like to avoid trigerring the 6-, 9- and 12-months reminders if the email is invalid.My logic right now works like this:Triggers if months passed = 3 AND email is not checked as invalidChecks email as invalidSends emailUncheck email as invalidThe idea is that if the email fails to send (step 3) then the process stops, step 4 never occurs, and the email invalid is left checked. This works nicely.What doesn't work is if the email is sent! Because step 4 updates the "Invalid email" field, which is also in the trigger,

Hello,Given that airtable cannot filter linked records, is there any way to access the limit record selection to a view from an interface such that the user can switch between views as needed? I have also put in a feature request to filter linked records but in the mean time maybe someone knows how to switch views from an interface? Thanks in advance! 

Hi there - We are setting up automation to find records that meet certain criteria -- either via a view or several 'Find Record' set-ups but the 'Find Records' is stopping at 100 records.  What is the best work around for this?  Thanks! 

Not sure if any of you have received the notification that if you're on the pro plan - your automations will be halved from the aldy restrictive 50,000 per month to 25,000 per month (also No more multisource syncs, API limits of 100,000, halving of attachment storage space to 10gb)? Also the support team seems to be not active since the pricing plan was announced - all my emails get diverted to a cliched auto reply when in the past a warm body will be manning the email and helping to resolve the issue. Isn't it industry practice to pmaintain current users on their own legacy plan? The new pricing and lack of support is making us consider other platforms instead
