I am receiving an error when testing a twitter automation. Trigger: record is created Action 1: find a record with conditions (character count=good, status =approved) Action 2: post tweet of only that record Error on action 2 test that twitter is missing the status parameter. I got a twitter automation to work the other day using similar steps, except that it was tweeting ALL records instead of just the most recent one. (Secondary issue) Question: how do i fix the status error? I’m a beginner. Please speak beginner language. Thanks!

Hello everyone When I try to connect Twitter to Airtable it says: The account being added is already logged in. So when I log out of Twitter in my browser, it just logs me in a small window and it’s not really being added. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. Having some issues integrating airtable with Twitter. I know there is already something set up in Airtable to post Tweets but I don’t want to be limited with the attachment file sizes that are imposed. I would like to automate posts to Twitter so that they send out both when “Ready to Publish” (status field) and at a specific date and time (date field with time). I note that in the triggers, it allows for date but the most specific it gets is “today” and does not include the specific time. Will it still post at the correct time if the automation is running or is this not possible in Airtable yet?

Hello! Since Airtable has discontinued their native Twitter integration, I have been wrestling with trying to get a script to work within my automation that directly works with the V2 API from Twitter to post tweets within their limited free tier. Most examples on how to approach it with javascript seems to involved a couple of dependencies we can't use within the Scripting action, so I am curious if anyone has found a way to write a script that will work with the latest spec of the Twitter API V2?

I am creating a database to which hobby enthusiasts can contribute by filling out a form. Think of this database as a sort of wiki.I am using Airtable in conjunction with pory.io to display this database for access to the public.Since attachment space is limited, I was thinking about using external images. This is doable by making a URL field, then setting the image on pory to the URL field.The problem with this is each row of data can have many images. How do you provide images without having to create 10+ URL fields? My base is already a mess and I am currently trying to work on the best way to go about collecting and presenting data.Images are a vital part of this database, sort of how product images are vital for a product page.I was also trying to implement a tinypng script I found on the internet (for making file sizes smaller), but it deletes all but one image when it runs. Hello guys,My main concern is whether, after deleting a record in Airtable, its Record ID will be reused for any newly-created records in the future. Is there a way to jump directly to an interface page from the record currently selected in the data table.IE, when you select an interface, it displays the data from the currently selected record.

So I was able to write out a simple formula in a table to see what percentage of the people in that row participated out of the total number of people in the table, but I had to manually enter the total number of people - the formula looks like this - ({# of Participants}/433)*100 It works, but the issue is that every time we have more participants, I’ll need to update the 433 number. How can I get this to update automatically every time a new person is added to the total? Thanks!

I’m trying to setup a simple API but I’m not exactly sure what APIs to use. I want to check for a unique value in a field (userID) and return the RecordID. If recordID exists, overwrite record with new data If recordID doesn’t exist, create new record with data At the moment I’m stuck on 1. I’ve tried List Records, using filterbyFormula & the API Encoder tool, Retrieve a record, I just can’t get the single results returns like I’m after. Can someone please provide me with an example API request to for number 1? If you could help with the others that would also be really great but at the moment 1 is where I’m stuck. Hi all! I'm hoping someone may be able to help me! I'm trying to create calendar events in our Outlook 365 calendars from an automation on our base that include links and the ability to Markdown.But, hyperlinking is not working the way it works when you're just "sending an email" through automations and neither is any of the markdowns. Is there a work around for this? Or has anyone else been able to figure it out?

When I’m searching for an existing record with a linked field, the search field only searches the primary field (in my case it is an autonumber). Is there any way to search across other fields as well? For example I have another field that is a text field and contains the name of the request.

Hello community When you are creating a new record using a form, you can search for other records to be linked to the one you are creating (if you have a linked field). I have been reading the different previous posts and I understood we can only search by the primary field. So, in our company, we set up all primary fields as a concatenation of different data, let’s say “Location - Name”. In the search bar to identify the right record If I type Location A, I got all the results with Location A - working fine If I type Name A, I got all the results with Name A - working fine But if I type Location A and Name A, no more result at all Is there a way to search for several words or just letters in the search bar? Hi all! I need users to be able to re-relate records between two tables (for which I built a nice interface). What’s the best approach to make the re-linking as easy for humans as possible? I recently switched out all my primary fields to be the UID instead of something human-readable but non-unique because the hunan readable format was non-unique and led to duplicates. So I was thinking the best would be to be able to filter the “link-to” dropdown via a different field than the primary field, but that doesn’t seem to be possible. Suggestions?

I am working on an invoice in the Page Designer extension and having trouble adding multiple line items. Company A has multiple line items in by Base. The unique identifier is the Company Name "Company A". In Quarter 1, 2023, Company A used 3 different hotels, and has 3 different revenues. I'd like to list on the invoice each of the hotels and their coordinating revenues.Company A, Hotel A, Cost ACompany A, Hotel B, Cost BCompany A, Hotel C, Cost CI'd like to add all of these to my invoice, but right now, only the 1st line is pulling into the invoice.Help! I have a collaborator on an interface with editor permissions. He can not create a new record (get's a message he does not have permission). Editors should be able to create records. What could be the issue?Thank you for your help.

 I want any record in the "Student ID" field to be copied into the linked "Student Names" field so that the student's name is pulled anytime an ID is entered. My automation works when I test it but nothing happens when I enter new records.  

I have a field of long text, and I set an automation that could help me send a notification Email to my collaborators after I update that field. However, the trigger would be fired several times, when I was still typing(no matter using when the record updated or when record matches conditions)Is there any way to make the trigger only be fired after I finish typing? Goal: Sync data from Google Cloud Platform with AirTable every 5 minutes.Problem: Some of the data syncs but not all the data. In other words, what is reflected in AirTable does not always match what is in Google Cloud Platform. The problem does not happen all the time which makes it difficult to troubleshoot.Any clues or links to figure out how to fix this issue are greatly appreciated. Hello! I am trying to figure out a formula that grabs a start date when a previous task ends. So in row 2 the Task Dependency is DEC:Project Setup. In row 1 you see the task is DEC: Project Setup with the task due date being 5/13/2022. I want to create a formula that takes this due date and puts it as the Task Start Date in row 2. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

I am trying to set up and “Address Field” that has the full address, ie: “1234 Summerset Dr.”. How can I sort that field A-Z without it just sorting by the number portion of the address? Thank you in advance!
