https://www.honeycode.aws/features Amazon just launched their No-Code app development platform. This is big news. Microsoft has their Power apps platform for quite some time now. But when AWS launches it, instantly the developer and creators community will love it. It’s also very very affordable compared to all other similar products. Airtable and HoneyCode do not compare head-on-head. Since Airtable is database first and an app maker second whereas HoneyCode is just the opposite. But AWS launching this is a huge move in the industry of no code apps. Please share your thoughts on this!!!

Hi, does anyone know why when you create certian interface views following the initial wizard, you cant then add new elements. You only seem to be able to do this if you build an interface from a blank canvass.

Hi,i would like to generate a document with data from 3 different tables.Let's say :InvoicesEventsServices1 invoice gather different events and each event have different services.For standard Invoice, i use the BATCH "WORD" MODULE on MAKE with success.But it does not accept LOOP of LOOP.I also tried to create a master json inside Airtable following the json model for the WORD module (exemple here) with LOOP of LOOP, with no success yet.Have you ever done this ? if yes, with which tools ? 

I'm running the latest App store version (10.1) on my iPhone Xs. I used to be able to rotate the phone (w/ system orientation lock disabled, of course) and have the base view (records list) in the app rotate to follow OS. Now it no longer does. Have they removed this feature?

Hi everyone, I have a bunch of records and have used the QR Code Generator extension to generate a QR Code and save it to an attachment field. The problem with this is that each QR code has the same filename (as there’s no option to rename the file), this makes it very confusing when downloading them all. Hello! I am trying to create an automation that conditionally checks to see if a user is tagged in a text field. Trigger: When a record is updated, watching field called "Internal Notes"(Internal Notes is a Long text field with rich text formatting enabled)Condition: If Internal Notes contains @Honey Bee(Honey Bee is a real user in my base, created for testing. Hi All -I've been battling with this issue for two days.I would like to send an email (via gmail integration) to a user when a record matches a condition.  I've connected everything and almost all of it works except one thing.  I want to include a url for the recipient to click if they need to update any information but it does not populate.That URL is its own field in Airtable.  I use the + and choose the data and see it in the email properties.  However when I preview (or test email) the url is never there.  I have tried different formats for the field (short text, long text, formula and URL) - none of them work.  If I hard code the URL (arbitrarily selecting on from the table), it displays correctly.  I've tried it just as text or as a clickable link using the syntax on the Airtable help pages. I've been able to similarly replicate this using the Twilio text integration (i.e., no url there either.)What am I missing? T

I’m currently running a script that creates a set of records. There are 67 records that need to get created. Usually it works. However, sometimes only a portion of the records are created. If I run the script a second time it works. Why does this happen and how do I resolve this?

So it's obviously quite a shock getting the email yesterday, the 23rd of August with the massive downgrades to the Pro Plan (Team Plan). However, this post is not to nag on the obvious downgrades which are going to affect how some current systems work. How I see it is some clients will have no choice but to upgrade, at a high expense, or stay on the Team Plan and try and work with the downgrades. My first question that I want to have more clarification on what's offered on the new Business Plan that was not available on the Pro Plan. I feel (hope?) the solution is simple, but I am totally stumped!GOAL: I am trying to summarize the total number of unique values across 4 linked record fields. CONTEXT: I run a coaching business that hosts group coaching sessions (called cohorts) for clients. These cohorts sessions can span across 2-3 months. I currently have a table that summarizes the total number of group sessions for each month / client. In addition to tallying up the total number of group sessions, I also want tally up the total number of unique cohorts that are meeting monthly. ATTEMPTED SOLUTION: I thought that maybe I could create two additional fields (1) that combines all the linked records for the month / client into a comma separated list and (2) a field that then counts the number of unique values within that string of text... but I can't get that t

Is there a way to automate delete an image after the date set for that image. Context this is for a social media posting automation using another source (Make.com with airtable). Only have the free airtable account so it will occasionally say there are too many images, it would be nice if they would automatically delete after posting. Thanks

When I click a button to trigger an automation, I want that automation to presend a blank dialog/popup for a user to fill in - the contents of that being used in the automation.e.g. if I have an end user submit a deal for investment and I want to reject that deal - I want the automation to pop up a "Reject reason" dialog which is then used to update the reject reason field.Appreciate any ideas!

Hi all,I run a small publishing business that is considering using Airtable to manage our advertising database. We have a small handful of users — like around 5 or so — that really NEED Airtable access.I have security permissions concerns, and I know we will hit the record and attachment size limits quickly. Enterprise has a handful of other features we could possibly use.My question — is Enterprise worth it to get around those things? It's a lot of money, but is it worth it?Or should I hire someone to build something for me using Airtable APIs with SOFTR on Pro plans? And then pair it with Google Drive or Box? No matter what, I expect to bump up against record limits. Looking for feedback!

It seems that, even though a channel is selected, the automation is just not picking it up (see second screenshot). Have tried switching to different channels to no avail. Help!I can't get the automation below to change the status of our EE to moved out. I keep getting receive invalid inputs. Basically I want it to be when the lease end date is today or past and EE status is not canceled then it will change the EE status to moved out. Thank you!

Hello to everyone, First of all, thanks in advance for your responses. I want to make an automation via Airtable Automations that changes the content of a text record (actually, add a word at the end) when a checkbox is enabled. For that I have made a new automation, when a record matches a condition  (in this case, when this field is true) and I pretend to run a script action after that, but I don't know what to put in the script.The idea is that when the checkbox is enabled (true), the script grabs the content of the "Event" field, save it to a variable, add a word at the end (For example, "CANCELED") and in the last step update this field with the old content plus the key word. Any idea of how to do this? Hi, I use Airtable to hold all my subscribers data (around 10k and slowly growing) and want to send them a weekly newsletter.I tried Make.com but it is a bit expensive, considering its pricing added to the one of a mailing service, so I was happy to see that Sendgrid had an integration with Airtable. Unfortunately though it won't let me create an account, apparently they don't want my business 🙂 They don't say why, maybe the country (I'm in Italy), I don't know, it just won't even let me open a new account.Does anyone know of alternatives?Thanks

Hi I need your help. I do have a database of records with a number of columns corresponding to each record. Now I would like to send out an email to the database in order to confirm the data they have given in previous communication (original table) and additionally I would like them to confirm their willingness to take part in the competition (checkbox) and approve new consent (checkbox). I would expect to direct them to a form page with some prefilled records (email, name etc) along with new fields (consent). After submitting the form records from original table should be updated. Is that possible and how can I achieve that. Appreciate your help. Greg 

I am working on a base with one table that has a record of all my fabric purchases, their respective lengths and widths. I want to create a my second table as a list of patterns and the length and width requirements for the fabric necessary to complete the pattern and have it automatically pull what fabrics I have that are eligible for the project based on the length and width criteria of the pattern. Is this possible?
