Hi Airtable Dev team.You've royally screwed us freelancers with the latest update to the Interface! 🙎I understand that the idea is that there are now templates but first we had to toggle the permissions to expose the create button. Now! Fields that were mandatory are no longer and many other fields have suddenly appeared.We convince people to use Airtable and now sit with egg on our faces with questions like - "Why is this field no longer there?", "Why can I now see XYZ?", etc.Better QA!

Hi, I need an attendance tracker for a nonprofit organization that organizes different activities throughout the year. I first tried doing a form that our coordinators of each activity would use to report the activity, time, description/impact, and attendance. The attendance is linked to a table that compiles the beneficiaries of the different activities that are run by the Non-profit. We already have some beneficiaries or previous participants in this table and so some of the attendees are already in our records, but when we have new attendees, I would like to be able to generate a new record from a form. I am able to add a new record in the grid view, but not in the Form. I have already tried doing an interface and it still won't give me the option to add new records in both form or interface. I do have a plus plan (not the free version).Our objective is to be able to have a beneficiary registry or a complete list of beneficiaries to

Basically, I have a list of assignments. I need each assignment's due date, day number, and week number (along with other fields). I already calculated formulas so that when I update the day number, it automatically updates the other two "calendar" columns.  My problem is, sometimes I need to "insert" a new assignment before many that I've already done.  So, I need to push the rest of the day numbers/due dates up 1 day to match, but I'd like not to manually change every single day for the rest of the records (this could be hundreds of records to "push" forward).I've searched so many things.  I know it doesn't work like excel where I can do a per cell formula (the one above + 1), but I can't seem to find a way to do this.Also, FYI, there is more than one record with the same day number/due date because I have a record for each subject each day (sometimes more than one per subject). Hi there, I have been searching heavily for some help on what I'm trying to achieve but haven't had any luck. What I am looking to do on Airtable is have an autogenerated number for each line item I add but it needs to have a prefix of 6700. It also needs to start at a specific number, lets say 67006789. Is there anyway to do this? 

Is there way in node js airtable module to query on field Ids and field names, if there is no field Id present in the table , then it should look over the field names provided in the code.For Example , I am looking for field whose name is "event Id" and the field Id is of the same field is "fldtu2298482hs" .. I would include my field Id in the select statement and if my field is not found in the table , the select query should fall back on the field name "event Id"

Hi there,I'm new to the Airtable Community and was hoping someone here might shed some light on a script I'm trying to implement. I am receiving data from a third party form via an AT Webhook. I need to concatenate the image path (ImgPath) submitted from the form when it includes an attachment to create a full URL and then update the PhotoURL field which is set as an attachment in the current record in my AT table . Hi everyone, I am not sure if what I'm trying to do is even possible, but hopefully it is!I am improving my office's Airtable and I have two sheets, for simplicity we will call them "Places Sheet" and "People Sheet" (these are what the records under each are). Under the People sheet, I have a column where one or more Places are linked when relevant. Now, I would like a column in the Places Sheet that shows me which People (ideally through a Linked Record) have that Place as a linked record on the People Sheet. So, in effect, when Record A from the People Sheet links to Record B from the Places Sheet in a specific field, Record B also links back to Record A.I could go through and do this for each individual, but some People have more than one Place linked to them, and there's well over 1000 records under the People Sheet and over 300 records under the Places Sheet, so I'm really hoping I can automate this process.

Hi. I am using Pro plan, which allows syncing between bases.  I've been structuring a lot of parts of our business in one main base.  There is a significant amount of data which needs to be imported from CSVs, for which it is much easier to give direct access to the base to the users, rather than through interfaces, views, etc.  There will also be some sensitive data in the main base, which I do not want to give even view-access to these users.  If you give access to a Base, they automatically get access to all the tables read-only as a minimum. Because of this, I realised it would be better to have a Main Base, and also a base for the Raw Data/CSVs.  I would give any users who need to import bulk data to the Raw Data/CSVs base, and then sync tables from RawData to the MainBase.The issue is that I already have a lot of automations, fields, configuration, etc in Main Base. For example, I have a table called 'Bookings Data'. I would like to

I have an automation where I first create a list of records and sort them by priority, then I put them into a repeating group to run scripts on them one at a time. But, it seems as though the repeating group will run those functions with multiple items being processed at a time, not one at a time.  Is there a workaround so that I can process the items within a list one at a time in the repeating group? Thanks! 

Hey, can anybody think of a way to create a table that consists of a listing of all the records in several other tables in an index format. Something like this: Primary Field Value | Table Name Bob | First Names Goldthwait | Last Names Comedian | Occupations I want to produce a single table like the one above, dynamically and continuously from live data, from a base that contains the following tables: TABLE: First Names RECORDS: 1 Bob TABLE: Last Names RECORDS: 1 Goldthwait TABLE: Occupations RECORDS: 1 Comedian This is just hypothetical data. I know I could this by exporting to a spreadsheet and reimporting but I want it to be automated and real-time. Any ideas?

I'm trying to set up the AirFlow Extension, however it is asking me for an API Key.Since AirTable have depreciated API keys, I'm unable to create one...I have tried using a Personal Access Token (PAT ID) but that is showing the error: "Authentication error - Please be sure your API Key is correct."I also tried to create an OAuth integration but I'm unsure what to use for the "OAuth redirect URL".Any help would be appreciated!

Hello,I'd like to embed a WebView or iFrame into Interface Designer (passing some fields as URL argument). An other option is to display HTML content (not MarkedDown stored in a field).I wondering where / if there is a documentation to code custom Interface Designer components ?I don't want to buy a third party plugin ... As a workaround, I'm considering coding a ChromeExtension to hack that but it's very kludgeMy usecase is VERY basic ... seeing a field containing HTML or previviewing an URL. I don"t understand why AirTable prevent that feature? (or I might missed it ?)Thanks !

Based on the wonderful scripting resources here, I wrote my first script with the Scripting extension to send an email via SendGrid with the user clicks a button field.The email recipient is stored as a field in the People table in Airtable. The email body text is stored as a long text field in the Email Templates field.The template contains several fields from the People table to communicate customized information to the recipient.. I surrounded the field names with double curly braces, but they are not being resolved. The sent email is just the raw text.I think I'm missing something obvious...The reason for doing this as a script instead of using the SendGrid extension is that the extension sends to all records in a view. I want to have a button on an interface that the user clicks as they go through their workflow. It's not something that can be automated. The button should send the customized email to just that record.

Hi all, I'm not sure if my aim should be achieved with a formula or an automation but I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a various payment schedules for different companies which show me the dates each one is due to make a payment - I upload these into Airtable.These payments may fall on a weekend. Where they do each company must make the payment either on the proceeding or preceding working day according to on what is stated in their T&Cs. I have a non-working day treatment field which indicates for each company whether it's meant to pay on the proceeding or preceding working day if the original payment due date is a weekend.How can I make a formula that looks at the payment due date and if it falls on a weekend changes the due date (add or minus 1 or 2 days) according to the non-working day treatment field? Alternatively, am I better off doing this in excel before I upload the payment schedule to Ai

I've created a base table on Airtable.  Then from the developers/API key section, I created a token.  I've copied the Token ID from the personal access tokens section and pasted it directly .env file. Hi team ~ I've created a tracker in grid view to track graphics workflow at our company. I'm wondering if there is a way that I can share the base and have editable cells within (mainly dropdowns, similar to the function in form view) so those without a licence can edit/update? We don't have a huge budget for a licence so can't afford to have everyone as editors. My only other thought is to create a generic login for our staff to use as editors and update as needed. Happy to take on any suggestions! Thanks!

They all have very distinct fields, so I dont believing merged them all into one table would make sense. Each of these entry in a way effects the client's account balance, either with a positive transaction, or a negative transaction. I would like to be able to generate a report, where one can get an account statement per client, for a particular time period.  What this would do is if you say generate it from Jan 23 - Jun 23, it would get all the end of month reports within that date, and show a list of all these distinct transactions, in the form of:

I would like to use automation, to look for a matching bank statement, related to a payout. Hello, I am trying to automatically update the "Bill Date" based on the date of incoming claims. The bill date is based on a start and end date and all three dates are recorded in a different table for billing schedule. How do I create a if claim date on my main table is between the two date in the billing table? In excel this would be simple, but having an issue with looking up on a different table in airtable.
