Need Help please.I have decided to record my workout sessions on Airtable, and I want to customize the "Set" field depending on the "Type" field. My goal is to format "Set" to duration when the "Type" is "Dead Hang". Otherwise, "Set" format will be number.I have tried this formula, but I am getting an error message saying "circular reference". Can anyone help me with this?Thank you

Sometime between two weeks ago and today, my INTERFACE form changed on create (submit) - from having just the create button when click which showed a small dialog that popped up (still leaving the layout behind empty asking 'do you want to create another entry' which I tend to close to now a full fledge white page with the verbiageThank you for submitting the form!Submit another response If I wanted this I would have made an outside form.I have folks entering data into the system - they do not need this.  And there is no way to customize it, and turning it off the submit another , prevents them from getting to the form at all. Please bring back the keep the form present / small dialog option! More so - please make change notices available.  Al

Hello guys,I have created an automation that is being executed when a new record is created, what I wanna do is to get that specific new record in the script, the last one, how can I do that? 

Several of my automations send emails, inevitably I get some bad email addresses and will get a notification in AirTable of a bad email address. Is there a way to incorporate these notification into my automations to alert the person entering information of the bad email?My use case:Hosts are entering Guest information, I want to send an email to the Host that they entered a bad email address automatically.Thanks,Tommy 

Hello!I am trying to create if statements to categorize products.  For example: if the product id is 02568, it will be category a; if its 12487 it will be category b; if 25777 it will be category c, an so forth.  However, each product id number is not the same.  So, category A would have serial numbers like 03577 as well as 06554 and so forth.  Each category starts with the same first number.  First problem is trying to identify in airtable only the first number to categorize.  I tried doing this: if({Product ID #}=0, "A", IF({Product ID #}=1, "B", IF({Product ID #}=

Hi guys,I have 2 columns in Grid view, each with date and time. One is a "Created" column, the other is a "Resolved" column.I am wanting to have a formula to put into a 3rd column / field to work out the business hours between the two other fields. However, I need to be able to specify the working hours start and finish in the formula (having the option here to have 2 shifts would be even better Ie 8-10 and 11:30-16:00), as well as have it exclude certain days of the week (Ie Tuesday, Friday, Saturday). I would also like to be able to list public holidays that it will exclude from the calculation.Thanks 🙂

So I found a formula someone else made that does exactly what I need it to do.  I need to display the dates of certain events as "week of" so I can group the event by the week and see how many posts are made during the week.  The problem with the formula is it makes the "week of" appear as Apr 3, 2023, when I need it to say 04/03/2023.  The formula is:  DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD(Date,1-DATETIME_FORMAT(Date,'E'),'day'),'ll') Can someone help me out?  Thanks! (Field on the left is the date of event,

Hello all. I am hoping to organize my backpacking gear with AirTable. Weight is an important attribute of each item. What’s the best way to add a field for weight? Ideally, I would like to set up the field so it could calculate both lbs and oz. So 18 oz would recalculate to 1 lb 2 oz. Is that possible, or should I just keep things simple and record everything in ounces? Thanks for your help.

Hey I have the utilization setup, I am able to see daily utilization of each user in the timeline view as shown in the image below. How can I get more out of these daily utilization percentages ? Things I would like to get 1. User Average weekly utilization for the current week 2. User average utilization from a specific date to current date3. Average of utilization of all the users

Hello,I have set up a zapier automation that, when an email in my gmail gets a particular label, will create a record in Airtable. Zapier will pass along the "to" email address(es) into one of the fields.  If there are multiple recipients on the email, the info is passed along as email1@test.com,email2@test.com with a comma separating the addresses. Here is my issue -- is there any way for me to set up an Airtable automation that will read those as two separate emails and then link this record with two contact records I have in Airtable?  I can make the Airtable automation work if the email was sent to a single recipient, but it cannot seem to recognize the comma as a separator in order to match/link multiple email addresses with multiple contacts.Thanks for any suggestionsAlex

Hello!I am trying to build something that I don't know how to build, and I think that this community can help!I need to set up an overview of a high school advisory curriculum where I can see several grade levels at once (overview) and then units within each grade level. Then I need to be able to see how those units articulate vertically. For example, we have a digital citizenship unit in each grade level, so I need to see where it exists in the yearlong calendar (scope & sequence) for each grade level (horizontally) so that the person who is delivering that unit is not in 4 places at once. I also need to see that one topic vertically (the details for grade 9, grade 10, etc.) so that I can see how it progresses over the years and make sure we are building on what they did the previous year.Would love to be able to chat with someone to work through this idea - just to get started with set up!   I have a view set up, and I would prefer not to display the primary field in it. I wanted to inquire if there is any way to hide this field within the view. Alternatively, if there are any other methods or workarounds to achieve the same outcome.

HelloI am trying to create some asset management system, and having a play with Airtable to see if i can get the functionality we need I have a table of ToolsI have another table with Field Work, with a start and end date. they are linked together with a link field where people can select which tools will be going on that job. I need to make sure there is some way of flagging a conflict if a tool is assigned to a record on the same dates.this flagging can be either a notification/flag, or refusal to assign tool, i dont mind as long as the users can see that their is a tool conflictCan anyone help with a way to automate this? or a different way to go about it?Many thanks!Kate

I'm trying to migrate some data I have in Google Sheets, to Airtable.I have a table, which is full of reservations/bookings. Each booking has a checkin and checkout date, and is allocated to a property. A booking also has a Status.I would like for each row (booking) to also have a field, Next Booking Reference. In Google Sheets, I had a formula which could find the Booking Reference, for the next booking after this one. I am looking into the possibility to migrate a Google Sheets solution, to Airtable.  One piece of functionality I was doing in Google Sheets was the below. I have a list of bookings. Each booking has a 'ValueAmount', and PaidOnI have an export of BankTransactions. This has information about Date, Description & Total of each transactionI want to be able to locate the BankTransaction automatically, for each paid booking. How this can be found is by taking the PaidOn, and giving it a time window of 7 days, and looking for a transaction matching the exact Value amount. As a condition this would be like: Booking.MatchingBankTransaction = (where Transaction.Value = Booking.ValueAmount and Transaction.TransactionDate >= Booking.PaidOn and Transaction.TransactionDate <= Booking.PaidOn + 7 days.The reason for the 7 days, is because the bank can show transactions later. Using the FILTER function in Google

Hi!I have a date field and a formula field (today MINUS date field) and another formula field that countdown (3 MINUS subtraction between today and date field) - I included photo of these fields. This is because the customs allows only 3 days for import the product. So I want an alert (countdown from when the customs contacted me that the product is at the customs).Now I want to add another date field (let's call it date field #2).I want automation (or formula field) that when I enter date in date field #2, formula field stops the countdown. Is it possible to do that with automation or another formula field? I will be the only Creator (for the foreseeable future) and will make my clients Editors so they can input their responses into fields left unlocked to Editors. The view layout will be the Grid view.I plan on creating a base per project and inside the base having the 1st column as the RFI question for the client (as a multi-line text box), the second as a selection of either "Outstanding" or "Resolved" (per row / RFI). Both these 1st 2x columns will only be able to be edited by myself as the Creator. Hi, I am trying to find a workaround for an issue I have with an AT automation that is triggered by a webhook. I am using 2 system webhooks (I can't control when they trigger) from ActiveCampaign. One is for 'deal created' which I am using as the trigger to create an airtable record. The second is 'deal updated' which I am using to update the airtable record (the aim is to keep the deal stage in the AirTable up to date). I am getting automation errors in AirTable because the deal updated webhook also fires in the same minute as the deal created webhook fires which means that the AT 'deal updated' automation runs an error with the update record upon most new deals. I am planning a workaround and wonder is it possible to restrict the conditions in the AirTable (deal updated) automation to end if an additional condition (field value in the webhook body) to the webhook trigger is not in place, or proceed if that data poin
