Hi, I have a list of people with different positions and locations. I would like to create groups of these records like: * All the people who work in Sales * All the people who are located in EuropeAnd I can give it different parameters and it will sort by the different groups. >> I don't want to create all the groups beforehand. Meaning, I don't want to give it a defined list in case there are job titles or cities that aren't in my list. << Can anyone suggest an automation tool to do this? 

I have one table "Companies" it is related to "Campaigns". When I send a Campaign to a Company I want to batch or else automatically link the Campaign to the company.I see that linked records are not part of the batch Update extension. Example:I create a view of Companies that's 100 records.I have a Campaign that's "Direct Mail Piece 1"I export that list and send mail to those companiesI want to show link these 100 Companies to the Direct Mail Piece 1 Campaign so I know which companies have received which marketing.How can I accomplish this?Thanks!

Here is just one more issue with the disgusting unusable new home page that Airtable is forcing us to use. Before there was a section "Bases Shared With Me" - that was logical, if someone shareswith me but just 1 base not the whole workspace, this base could be placed in any of the Workspaces' sections, so a separate section for them was created - and that was greatNow there is only the list of the shared workspaces and a messy heap of all bases. Now imagine that there are users like me, who have ~10 shared workspaces with ~100 shared bases, while some of them are shared on the workspace level and some are shared on the base levelThere is no way to show the bases that are not in one of the workspace, so if you don't remember the exact name of a base, all you can do is patiently look thru all 100 bases, looking for the one you need.There is not much hope that this will be noticed but at least I give you a chance: please hear your c

I have an automation that will email a specific person when a record enters a view. The view is looking for a status change. Once the status has been changed a field is populated with the user that changed the status. As part of my automation, I’d like the person who changed the status to be CC’d on the email that will be sent. How do I get the email of the AirTable user to auto-populate into an email field?

Hello,  I am trying to use the WORKDAY function to add X amount of days to my start date, however it is populating an extra day but only if I include the time. I don't need to include the time but its the only way I can get the project "duration" to show up on the calendar or timeline view. Can anyone help please? I've tried to add -1 days to remove a day from the start day but it is telling me there is an error. Current Formula: WORKDAY({Start Date}, {# of Days}) Thank you,

I am trying to delete some records from a child table when the parent record is removed. To do so, I have created a view on the child table showing records where the parent link field is empty. On my automation, the trigger is set to be when a record enters that view, the automation fires.  The automation is firing but I get an unexpected permission related error I have not seen before. I am the workspace owner. I can manually delete rows in the UI. This seems simple....what am I doing wrong? Is it possible to get the previous value of a field to compare to when you have an automation trigger because of an update? I am thinking the only way to do this is to hold the old value in a hidden field and then update the hidden field after you take care of whatever you needed to take care of. I think the only issue is a person can make multiple updates to a field before you ever finish the automation so your previous value will be out of date if an update occurs before your first script finishes.

I am trying to automate my airtable to send an email to me and my coworkers anytime someone updates or changes data in any part of the table. However, I want the email to specify what columns or what parts of the table were changed. Is this possible?

If you share a read-only Interface, is the person with read-only access required to create an Airtable account? I wish to share an interface, but I don't want the read-only user to create an Airtable account and login each time they have to view the Interface.

I have a table called “Plans” that pulls in lookup values from my “Contracts” table, which is linked. I’ve been able to add the standard fields from Plans to a Page Creator page without an issue. However, when I try to add a lookup field from Plans, it doesn’t work. I can drag the field to the Page Creator, but the box never gets populated. Similarly, If I try placing a linked field on the page, it appears as a black box with its original field name from the Contracts base. See screen shot below. Any suggestions for getting the linked/lookup fields to work in Page Creator?

I'm developing a complex reimbursement database and need help:There are 7 divisions,  each division has 3 credit cards and each card has 3 reimbursable categories (for example: food, travel, leisure), each division has 8 employees.Each employee has a budget set from the credit cards their division is assigned, For example, Mark from division #1 has $1000 in food funds, $1000 in travel funds & $1000 in leisure funds. What is the simplest way to do the following:When Mark fills out a reimbursement form detailing the transaction(1) He can detail how much of his transaction goes to travel, food, and/or leisure (one transaction can go to multiple categories.)(2) When I go in to verify his transaction I need to be able to see how much money he has left in each of these categories (if he spent more that his remaining budget) (3) Track how much each division, category, and employee is spending/spent.**No

Hi All, I'm putting a Zap together and linking our recruitment ATS with Airtable. I'm adding job adverts that come from our ATS in to Airtable first, and then I can send to another platform via the Zap. I've run in to an issue that I hope Airtable will solve. Our ATS sends job adverts to 3 job boards, so when it comes from the ATS to Airtable, it enters the job advert record 3 times. So it's duplicated twice. Unfortunately the ATS record has a data field that has all 3 job board ID's together so I can't filter the record by just one job board.Is there a way I can mark the duplicates with a true/false or checkbox field using some form of automation? I can then filter them out in another view and use the view to pass on the information to another platform from Airtable via the Zap without any duplicates. I hope that makes sense! Any help would be much appreciated.

I have an automation - on form submission I receive an email.One of the fields in this form is an attachment.  My automation works fine - I receive an email when someone fills out the form, but I am not to access the attachment of the form. It shows access denied

Seeking to identify if two numbers match exactly in both fields, such as 22 matching 22, and not partial matches like 2.  

I would like to separate a look up field (values separated by commas) into separate cells. I have information from Table 1 linked to Table 2 (Junction Table) that is linked to Table 3. Table 3 has a look up field (puling information form Table 1 to Table 2 into Table 3). The values in the look up field are separated by commas. (I am having a problems applying formulas to the look up field). Is it possible to separate these values into separate fields?

I just found out that both SET_LOCALE and SET_TIMEZONE functions returns an incorrect hour, at least for Europe/Lisbon and en-gb as per the below examples:SET_TIMEZONE(NOW(), 'Europe/Lisbon')SET_LOCALE(NOW(), 'en-gb')Both these functions as returning 1 hour less than the correct one.

Hello,I am trying to figure out how to insert an image to Gmail: Send email automation.Image is stored in the attachment field and needs to be inserted into email text as an image, not as the URL.While it is easily done for images stored publicly (not inside Airtable) by using the format <img src="https://.......">, I can not understand from the Airtable Help articles how to do the same with the image stored in the Airtable field.Thank you in advance for any hint or advise.

Hi We have received a notification in our Airtable account that "API keys will be deprecated by the end of January 2024". We have integrated our Airtable and Salesforce account using Zapier tool. Does this Deprecation notification affects the current integration happening via Zapier?. I saw the below comment in Airtable help article that we don't need to do anything, and Airtable will take care of the third party tools(Zapier).Note: We are working with third-party integrations to migrate to using OAuth for integrations. No action is required on your part until they complete the migration, after which you can stop using your API key and use OAuth to connect instead.  Please assist me. "

Simple thing I'd like to do: Display the current date (and possibly time) on an Interface screen (blank template).  I created a field in the base that shows the date, but there's no way to display a single field.  I looked at the text object but there's no way to enter a formula in that object.Anyone accomplish this before?  TIA!
