Hi all, I have been struggling to figure out a way to solve this all day. I am wanting to track checked out laboratory media in an interface graph so that team members who create the media can see how much is being used per week. I’d like this to be automated for the previous week, but specifically Monday through Sunday of the previous week (so that you can check any day of the current week and the numbers would remain the same for the previous week). My plan for this was to set an automation trigger for early Monday morning, that then finds all records within the last 7 days (all checked out items have creation dates + times for the check-out record), and then marks them with a date for the previous week’s Monday, using the Update Record command (which would be found using a formula field consisting of DATEADD(NOW(), -7, 'days'), which will return the previous Monday (because the trigger to pull from this field is occurring Monday morning). The interface would then pull from values wi

Hi all, as of today CTRL-F is not opening a search bar within a grid on my interface page.  I use this feature maybe 100 times a day and its a big part of my workflow.I rebooted, signed in/out, tried a different web browser, no luck.  This is hugely disruptive and I’m not particularly interested in creating a new interface list page with the native search feature.  There are other elements on my original page that I reference ALL the time that won’t be visible with a dedicated list.  Anyone else run into this and find a solution?  I submitted a ticket with support and they’ll get back to me in 1 to 2 days….

Hello, in my department we use Airtable for people to register when they want to attend any of our workshops. Is there a way to connect Airtable and Outlook and have some sort of automation where when someone registers for one of our workshops they automatically get a calendar invite on their outlook calendar about the event?

Hi everyone, I’m currently testing the ai field agent’s capabilities for automatized tagging of records, but I’ve come across a limitation that I seek to overcome with your help: No centralized tag management. When using the field agent for direct ai tagging, I have not found any option to provide tags in a centralized way, similar to how you can do with linked fields for human tagging. There is the ai recommendation option integrated into the linked record field, but this does only add a recommendation for human usage. Is there a way to have it both? The centralized tagging table and ai field agent tagging? I’m considering injecting an accumulated list, of all entries in my tag table, into the prompt of a simple text ai field agent and have it output it’s selection as a list, which hopefully could be linked via automatization features.

So I’m looking to employ a formula to provide a word count for my SEO keyphrases, which range from 2 to 8 words. Below is the formula that I thought would work, but I’ve had no such luck…does anyone have any thoughts as to what’s going on here? Thank you in advance! When using the Airtable JS SDK, it seems impossible to use the offset with select to do proper pagination. The type specifies `number` but any value I pass gives me an invalid value error. The web API uses a string offset that's returned from the request. Since this is TS, you can't use a string value with the SDK. Is it possible to paginate with the JS SDK?

Hi,I have two tables : “clients” and “registration form”. I want to be able to send a registration form to any client no mater if the client is already in my “clients” table or not. (I also have a course table). Lets say I ask for the clients email in the form. If the clients email is already present in my “Clients” table, I want to link the newly created “registration form” record to that specific client in the “Clients” table. If not, I want to create a new record in the “Clients” table with the new client info. Is it possible to achieve this with Airtable or with other tools like fillout? Thank you very much!

Hi everyone 👋I’m trying to find the best way for multiple users to import data (from XLS or CSV files) into the same base — ideally directly through an Interface rather than the Extensions panel.We’ve tried the CSV Import Extension, but: The import mapping doesn’t save across users. Even for the same user, it sometimes resets or forgets the previous mapping. There’s no way to create or reuse “import templates” for different file types or tables. What we’d really like is: A way for different users to upload a file (XLS or CSV) through an Interface form or button, Automatically import it into a target table using a consistent field mapping, And ideally store those mappings permanently (so no need to re-map each time). Is this possible to be done directly with airtbale? Has anyone found a good workaround or script/automation setup that achieves this?Would love to hear if there’s a best-practice approach — either native or via scripting/integration tools.

Hello.I am new to Airtable and I have a question concerning linking to another record. Is it possible to automate this process so that data from every record from a field (column) on the "source" table may be copied to a field on the "target" table? The data would need to be consecutive and ordered by the same ID number used on both tablesI found a JavaScript online that may work, unfortunately, 1) I have the free plan and scripting is not supported; and 2) my experience with JavaScript is limited. When making a list with three hierarchy levels and adding dropdown filters they don’t seem to work. When making lists of two hierarchy levels on the same base the filters do work. Is there something I’m missing or is there a bug?Thanks in advance!

Airtable seems to be suffering a major outage. None of the tables load, and shows an error that starts with “pgl…..”, asking to Refresh the page. But Refresh takes a long time, and the same result.

This is out of my control because it is calling an external API which sometimes takes a bit longer due to high load (OpenAI API).
