Is there a script that can initiate printing of a record designed in the printing extension from an interface? As in, Print This Record?

I am importing three different reports into the same table.  One report’s DOB field provides the date as we wish it to appear, MM/DD/YYYY.  The other two reports provide a DOB format of DD-MMM-YY.  I am using a formula to convert the DD-MMM-YY format into MM/DD/YYYY and then using an automation to move the DOB Calculation into the DOB field.  Some of the converted dates are future years.  The formula correctly converted 23-Sep-97 into 9/23/1997, but 29-Jan-56 became 1/29/2056.  How do I get the formula to create DOBs in the correct century?Some years convert correctly, others not so much.Current formula. 

Hello Community! Has anyone had success printing from the new Interfaces feature? I’ve created some texts and a table in the new Interfaces feature - basically it’s a nice checklist. When I do a basic print - the formatting is way off and my table doesn’t fit on the page. I tried using the app Page Designer, but it doesn’t appear that you can select an Interface to load into Page Designer. Thoughts? Suggestions?

I’m running into an issue where a URL prefill is linking the correct records to the form, but showing them as “unnamed”. I know they are the right records, because when I submit it shows the correct records. This wouldn’t be a problem, except for the fact the the user needs to see which record is which employee, so if they need to they can remove someone that left early, for example. Anyone have any ideas how to have it show the names of the employees that definitely are not “unnamed” and have something in their primary field?We are using Record IDs to prefill the Employees field.Thanks in advance to anyone that has any ideas or suggestions!

Is this scenario possible?I want to automate a task on my team in which a team member would create a record and attach a word doc to it. The team member would then fill out a form which allows them to attach the record they just made (or any record via the dropdown that lists all team member-made records). Once they submit the form, it triggers an automation to send a pre-determined Teams message with the record chosen from the form. I successfully created an automation to make part of this happen, but i can’t get it to attach the record (because the message is static and the attachment is dynamic?) Is there a way to make this work??

I can’t see anywhere which would state if my level has been set as builder or end user?

I can create and update records, but the image upload is not working. Any ideas? 

Hello all,So I have been uploading attachments to a field through a google share link and have made sure to make the file and folder public but for some reason when i click on the attachment it just comes up as a blank screen and says loading but never loads. The share link is fine as when I put it in the url bar it works perfectly. Im unsure what is causing this??

Hi everyone, I’m setting up a project management base with dependencies between tasks. I have two questions: In some cases, task 2 can begin before task 1 ends, but the completion of task 2 does depend on the completion of task 1. There will simply be some overlap in when both start (e.g. parts of task 2 can be started before task 1 begin, however until task 1 is completed, task 2 cannot be fully done). I have set up the dependency as Task 1 → depends on → task 2. However, this then shows up as an error: Task 1 begins before Task 2 ends. Is there a way around this? What happens when you have some dependencies in the same table that are predecessors and some that are successors? Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi all, Any help would be appreciated on this one. I'm working on an automation in Airtable we previously used Zapier for to try and streamline some self-fulfilling on-demand educational resources. The way I currently have it set up is in one Airtable base, but two separate sheets. One sheet has an external-facing form for people to order course content through, another sheet has the content listed by name, in zip files or individual files. The names match the form exactly, and I have tried two different methods to get the automation to grab the content from the form sheet based on the name: multiple select and link to another record. Any way I do this it provides all or none, and won't search by name. The content is currently fulfilling best in an Attachments field in a zip file as it ranges from PDF documents to videos to PowerPoint files. The actions I'm using are 'When a form is submitted', 'Find Records', and 'Send an Email'. TODAY() and some similar functions are broken because they're stuck on Greenwich Mean Time. What it's meant to do is return a value that changes once per day, at the start of the day. It does this by setting the time part of the current date and time to 0 but, because Airtable's internal time zone is GMT/UTC and yours probably isn't, the result of the function will never be the start of your day. Any formulas that rely on it will have flawed results. The effects depend on how far from GMT your time zone is, and how accurate your formulas need to be. During summer in New Zealand, for example, with an offset of +13 hours, it behaves like a YESTERDAY() for more than half of each day. In California it becomes TOMORROW() early every evening. We are looking to reply to specific Slack messages to update product status. While it looks like it’s possible through Slack conversation IDs, I haven’t found documentation on how to set it up. Does anyone know how to do this without an external automation? I checked the following thread from 2 years ago, but it mentioned Make (an external automation tool) - I don’t believe my company will allow such integrations: 

I don’t want to be overly negative as I love Airtable, as do my clients. But can Airtable slow down in integrating new features without proper testing. In the past couple of weeks since developers integrated Interface/data layout into one in the home view, there have been so many bugs in the system. I am all for new integrating and love the direction the company is going. However, don’t be premature about it. Every time I am using Airtable now there are new bugs and I don’t have time to send Airtable developers feedback and examples... It’s hard to keep up (more a clients perspective) with new features, new layouts and new bugs. To the developers, just make sure your ready before publishing new layouts and features please 🙏

Anyone know if/how to change the default behavior of clicking Interfaces when in Data Mode. It defaults to design mode so I need to click Interfaces and then click Open. I could have sworn it took me straight to interfaces prior to the most recent UI changes. 

I am looking for a way to change the way that my shared Airtable base can be shown as the preview when sharing the url, instead of the generic “Airtable, everyones app platform” being shown. I frequently share the base, and people aren’t opening the base, or are wary to because they dont know what Airtable is. Please tell me there is a way to have a different preview shown? Do I need to first embed it in my website? I am open to paying, or outsourcing but I am just not sure how to start! Trying to figure out how to have the Interface “Button” When clicked it will go to the form I built? Do I use external URL?

The automation seems to start, but no emails go out. I need help figuring this out!Details:Using Airtable Team plan on Chrome (Mac). I have a “Tasks” table with columns: “Task Name” (text), “Due Date” (date), and “Done” (checkbox). Automation goal: Send an email to my team (e.g., me@example.com) when “Done” is checked. Automation setup: Trigger: When “Done” checkbox is checked in Tasks. Action: Send email with task name and due date. Problem: Automation runs (logs say “triggered”), but no email is sent. No error messages. Steps I tried: Checked my email address is correct. Tested with a different email—still no email.

hi, does anyone know how to copy a group of records.  It's for selecting materials for our manufacturing business.   If we have standard jobs we don't want to have to select the same group of items (records) repeatedly

I tried posting this question previously but I don't see it posted, so apologies if it appears twice.I have a simple database with two tables, each of which has a few fields.I want to create an interface that shows different list views of one table based on different filter criteria chosen through tabs.I created an interface with eight tabs on one page and was able to configure the filter criteria for each tab. It works fine in the edit mode.When I preview or publish it, only five of the tabs are visible. I thought that it might be there's a limit on the number of tabs on any page, or the length of their names, however when I tried rearranging or renaming the tabs to shorten names the behavior was the same. Only the five originally visible tabs appear, whatever I name them and in whatever order I arrange them. The other three tabs are never visible.I then tried copying the page to another page in the same interface, so that I could experiment furth

Hey folks, I’m trying to figure something out.I’ve got an old CSV doc that I’ve integrated. Unfortunately, it’s a mess and I’m only a “enough to get by” kind of Airtable coder. I’m a bit stumped.So, I’m trying to make a formula that combines multiple cells to make a condensed long text field for mailing addresses (if possible). Unfortunately, many of these individual cells are empty and there are 562 lines of them. There’s no good rhyme or reason as to what is empty, either. Sometimes it’s address 1 and address 2, sometimes there’s a city and state and nothing else, sometimes all of the information is filled out, so making a straight hierarchal system like I’m more used to seeing doesn’t really work.Example:IF(address 1, <all the info>,   (IF(address 2, <address 2 down>,    (IF(address 3, <address 3  down>,)))Here’s my best effort at what I want to do:
