Hello. I am working on a form to list specific medications, the vendor it originates from, cost, qty, etc. I’d like to be able to input the brand names of medications into the form and have the generic names of that specific medication auto-populate in a field below the brand name on the form and in the grid view. I’ve tried creating a separate table and inputting the medication brand and generic names in a list, but I cannot figure out how to use conditional formatting (or lookup) to populate the generic name in the form. Hopefully this makes sense. I’m struggling to describe what I’m looking for. Example: Single Line Text Field: Medication Brand Name - Adrenaline Conditional Field: Medication Generic Name (to auto-populate) - Epinephrine

Hello! I am looking for an advanced questionnaire, either in Forms for Airtable or an integration. I would need it to be in sections (each section having a little header with directions), and an if-then conditional type of response, where if they answer a question one way, the next thing pops up based on that answer.Any thoughts on how to do this in Airtable or what integrations may be best for this?Thanks!  

I am on the free plan. A few Co-workers can add an event to the calendar by submitting a shared form. The Airtable calendar is then updated. That works well. But say they need to delete an event. How can that be done using the same form, or do I need to make a new shared form? 

My organization is implementing a new Airtable base structure complete with integrations with Softr, Fillout, and Make. It’s a complex build that has taken over a year to build. We recently upgraded to Business to take advantage of higher record limits and 2-way table sync. Now I have learned of the limitations of the 2-way sync and I am doubting everything.We were advised to design our operation in two bases; let’s call them People and Things. About half of the tables in each base have been synced into the other base. Here’s the problem:A table in People (Names) is synced to Things The synced Names table needs a rollup from a table in Things (Furniture). A linked field and the rollup are added to the synced table. We need that rollup back in the People base, but it does not sync back because of how 2-way syncing works (records sync, not fields native to in the target base). We have embedded an iframe with an Airtable Interface into our Website. The problem is that the content of the iframe is not updating in realtime once i change data inside Airtable which SHOULD reflect in an immediate change of the iframe (Interface) contents. The content in the Airtable Interface however is updated immediately - only the website embedded iframe is still showing old content.How can i make the content inside the iframe update immediately?

Hello!I am trying to create a field that returns matching values from 2 other fields.In the screenshot below, ‘Budget’ and ‘Offered’ have the same options (multi-select fields). I would like to have the third field, ‘Budgeted and Offered’ that shows the matching options from those fields.   How can this be accomplished within airtable?

I have a record picker on Page 1. I also have a search button, which has an action set to ‘go to interface page’. This point to Page 2. On Page 2, what I’m trying to achieve is a record summary of the record picked on Page 1. Could someone advise if this is possible? If possible, please explain how. Thank you in advance.

In the form, i need to fill in the quantity for each item. Each item will be linked to the database. Each form need to be input quantity for around 10 items. pls see photo below 

I shared on our Wix site the Airtable calendar. All looks good. But if the public clicks on the View larger version link, along the bottom right, it opens larger and shows at the top Using “Reserved Date/time field, customize labels , filter and sort. Filter and sort is fine but how do I remove “using Reserved Date/Time and customize labels. It looks weird and confusing to public. I am on the free plan.

Airtable has come a long way from when I first started where I had to pair it with Excel to get earnings and cashflow projections for my small freelance business. I now have four extensions that give me data I used to have to calculate with Excel, but I’m missing the fifth that would let me ditch Excel completely, and this extension needs the following formula: Projected Available Next Month - Fixed Number=“Left to Earn (negative)/Rollover (positive).”I have the first part to get these numbers and then I have the method to use the answer of the equation to redistribute those numbers in AT according to whether I’m short or flush, but I cannot get that middle calculation in AT.FWIW because my income is so variable, this data lets me even out my earnings and pay myself a regular paycheque. Hi all - I’ve got a calendar interface that shows my warehouses their upcoming schedule. It displays three different event types. Problem is, while all the events appear normally on the web app, only one type of event is showing on the phone app. I’ve double checked all the interface settings, filters, date fields, etc, and everything is correct. Why would certain events appear differently between desktop and phone? Here’s the same month view on desktop vs phone - note the 5/25 & 5/26 FMSC Closed events appearing on both. 

I have automation where if number in employee table is above 6 trigger automation, If I manually select record and run automation it works as it should.. Just not sure why its not being triggered.So employee was at 7, I created another entry using interface, It moved to 8. Automation did not run.  

I’m looking for a way for my client to be able to automatically track his calls and airtable. Is there any third-party integration that you guys know of that would take the calls that he makes and put it into airtable?

Does "commenting" an entry count as a modification regarding the default value "last modified date" ?Thanks !

I am trying to figure out an effective way to share a view with external collaborators. Companies like Smartsheets allow unlimited guest editors for no extra cost on their business plan, but it seems that with Airtable if I want to share my project plan with a customer just to mark tasks as complete we need to pay $10/mo/user for portals, or full price to get them into the company Airtable account. Are there any alternatives here? How have you guys accomplished this effectively?

Are there ways to export on-screen data for the applicable record or child records to a PDF or XLSX from interface designer? I'm aware of the page builder extension in the base, and the download to csv option in the base view screen - but I want my users to stay in interfaces. I'd like to be able to add a button up top that says "Export to XLSX" on a project plan and have an XLSX or CSV document be spawned for download from the interfaces screen. Alternatively it could be emailed or pushed to cloud storage.Is there a way to do this natively? Or only with 3rd party integrations?

Hi everybody, as you can see I try to connect my airtable with my ghost CMS and I click “yes” on the field where it says “include file content, because it seems an existing problemn with Airtable. But whatever I do in zapier, it still an outdated URL. Is there any workaroudn to fix this?

Hi, I’m looking for a formula that will flag when a name is appearing in different columns in the same row. This is to flag scheduling conflicts. Column A, Column B, Column C, Column DParticipant X, Participant X, Participant Y, Participant Z Here is my current formula for 2 columns:IF(AND({Column A} != "", {Column A} = {Column B}),"Duplicate")It works. But when I try to add more columns, it breaks down. Can anyone help? Or is there another method altogether?

 I need help in displaying number of characters entered, and number of characters left in text fields in forms. Something like this:The number of characters remaining should get dynamically updated as the user types/deletes the characters.

Does anyone have a current script that is parsing any emails beiing received in the new “trigger when email received”. Hi there, I’m trying to create an airtable automation script whereby it takes in the Full name of a record and changes only the first letter into uppercase (upper caps). I have 2 forms that a customer fills out - 1 is info about the company, which populates on the company table. The second is for the employees table and it collects info about each employee that works at the company. I currently have the form set up to collect the company info first, then they click “continue” and it redirects to the employee form. They then have the ability to fill out the employee form as many times as needed. I tried using a pre-filled link for this button to auto fill in the company name on the employee table linking the two, but that does not work. Should I be using an automation? Is there any solution for this that does not include using a 3rd app?Any ideas for linking the records is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
