Heya,We have an interface where we display charts from a base. However, I am wondering if there's a possibility to adjust the data incoming from the base before it gets displayed.For example, there's a field that we need to reformat in a specific way before it gets picked up by the charts.

Have a view with many columns, and would like to distinguish individual “groups” by adding background colors to these groups. Can do?

Hey there,First of all thank you for your time and your help 😉I've made some pretty basic automation, when a record matches certain conditions, I trigger the action "send mail" (airtable default one). The field "To" is filled with a roundup type of field which has a formula "ARRAYUNIQUE(values)". It keeps the unique mails attached to the record.My issue is that it works 30% of the time. The failure to run is always caused by : "The "To" input is empty"Which is not, the field is never empty, it always has one or several mails. And it being not empty is a condition to trigger.I can't find what's common to success or common to failure.Any ideas ? 🙂  

The example image for the new Record Review interface shows a profile photo (attachment field?) in a column, next to another column with multiple fields (team, start date, manager etc.). Is there a way to put totals or aggregations at the bottom of (or any where for that matter) a list in Interfaces? I am not using the blank option - I'm using the Airtablke supplied ones because you cannot embed ones created from blanks into a website. They are always at the bottom of columns in the base grids. It is vey inconvenient to have to add things up with a calculator  every time Look something up. Is there an Automation that would do this?Thank, Scott

Hello, I manage two different teams - Team A & Team B. Both of these teams have their own separate base with their own projects. How I capture all of their projects into one grid table without having to do manual entry? I would like to have them sync together since their projects can associate with eachother.

We have a form which pulls the initial data, but there are situations where we need more information. We want to put a button in the interface that connects to a different form, but the url address is dynamic, not static. Ideas on how to accomplish our goal: Make the url address static so it goes to the form each time.Viewer/commenter could openUse an automation button that populates the form and updates the record it was triggered from. Can someone with viewer/commenter access use this button?Create a template that will link to the record, but don't think this data will be able to be pulled for reporting which is not helpful long-term. Can someone with viewer/commenter access use this button?

I'm currently on a trial of it and I represent our organization that wants to use these functionalities to build little dashboards and tools to help our teams and colleagues scattered across the country. I was recommended this service by AI, in fact, when I was asking for specific features I need. It's amazing what it can do and I'm clicking around and building things that are really going to make a difference and be useful.However, I've come across a few stumbling blocks that are quite frustrating. I have set up an airtable form that I will send out to a large audience. I do want to restrict the access to multiple email domains for security purposes but it seems like I can only do just one email. Is it possible to do it for multiple?

Hi all, We are trying to define roles and responsibilities within our organisation. One of the possible models that works really well in Excel is the Responsibility assignment matrix or RACI model. See https://racichart.org/ It is basically a table with tasks as rows and roles as columns and in each cell a marker that defines if someone is Responsible, Accountable, Consulted or Informed (hence RACI) by sdding a letter in a cell. When this table is filled in properly we can give each employee a clear overview of his/her responsibilities. Im getting the hang a bit of Airtable and am able to use it for a lot of our organisational overviews, but I have no clue yet if the above mentioned could also be achieved with Airtable and lead to a satisfying result, or if I should just stick to Excel for this. Would be awesome to hear your suggestions!

I'm using a Repeatable Group with an Update Record inside to take a list of records from a Find Records action and update a field in the found records. When the list of records contains only one record the test runs successfully. When the list of records contains more than one record I get a received invalid input error. I think I know why this is happening.If I look at the Input table after a test I see Record ID listed there followed by a single record id if only one record was found. If more than one record is found then I see Record ID followed by multiple record ids separated by commas. If this is what is being presented to the Update Record action of course this will cause an error. If I'm reading the documentation correctly the input from the Repeatable Group should be a separate Record ID followed by a single record id for each record found rather than a single Record ID followed by multiple record ids. Why is the Repeatable Group not presenting the Record IDs to the Update Rec

I have this code that works well when filtering a field that is SIngle Line Text empName="Dummy Employee"let records = query.records.filter(record => record.getCellValue("Name") === empName); But If i want to filter a field that is a "Link to another record" field, it will not find it.let records = query.records.filter(record => record.getCellValue("Linked Name") === empName); I have a work around where I have a formula field that converts the value in the field "Linked Name" to a string, but i would like to tidy it up. Has anybody encountered such an issue? Thanks in advance   

is there a way to get rid of that irritating warning that pops up in an interface when an action i am taking will hide the record from the view? the whole point of my action is to hide the record from my view. as it is, i have to click off of the record and select a new record to make it go away. 

I have a table with the following fields:Capacity Required - a number Capacity Provided - a roll up sum of a linked recordGap Remaining - the delta between Capacity Required and Capacity ProvidedI have another field called Status that looks at the Gap Remaining and provides a single select option The following are all nested, so will be triggered in order: If the gap remaining is negative, the status is "overstaffed"If the capacity required was 0 to begin with, the status is "N/A"If gap remaining is 0 the status is "fully staffed"if the gap remaining is less than the capacity required the status is "partially staffed"The status field behaves as expected for 1207 records in my table. But now I have a record where when the gap remaining is 0 the status is partially staffed...if and only if one of the values being rolled up is ".10" and only for one specific record. If I change the value from .10 everything works, putting a .10 value in a different record als

I’ve used a Rollup column to aggregate data from another table. There are duplicates in the data being aggregated, as well as blanks. I use the ARRAYUNIQUE(values) to operate on the roll up data. I even created an adjacent cell with an IF statement to test for ISBLANK and it is being returned as being blank. Once I set a filter the Rollup column to not show empty cells, empty cells are still shown. The issue is in the only DB in my account, in the Organization tab.

my kanban is a list of products with different stacks. I would like it so that when a product is moved from one stack to the other, the autmation sends a slack message as to what stack the product is currently moved to.How do I access the name of the stack? I clicked on the blue plus sign but nothing there relates to the stack name. Just the product details.

Dear community, Does anyone know how I can mute this notification? I am building a check in and check out tool in interfaces, when someone has checked out, I want to have his or her name removed from the list with people who are in the building. It works perfectly, only that ugly orange message, which tells me that the changes will hide this record keeps showing up. Hiding the record is exactly what I want it to do. It would be great to have this sorted out. Thanks for helping!!

Hi all,I'd like some help w/ a rollup field.Table A is a summary record for an order and table B has the line items of an order.  Each line item can have a different delivery date.  I'd like to create a rollup field in table A that calculates the difference between the min and max delivery dates of all line items in table B.   This rollup field presently looks like: DATETIME_DIFF(MAX(values),MIN(values),'days').  When I do this, I always get values of 0 returned.  I suspect that I cannot use a datetime_diff function within a rollup but I'm not getting an error so I wanted to confirm?  (I also just tried max(values) - min(values) but that doesn't work either, (also returns 0s).  I'd rather have a single field in my data to perform this function over 3 (one for min, one for max, one for the difference).  Any suggestions / confirmation that this just isn't possible using dates?Thanks!

I've created an automation that follows this schema:The issue is that when it finds three matches in the name, it writes the name as many times as there are matches. I only want the name to appear once.I don't know how to achieve this.Thank you for your help

Hi,I have automated record selection and adding a fixed value to the existing values in a field. or example, adding a new category to the existing categories of a record. now I would like to have this fixed value as an entry from the user through a form or something else and then use the value in my automation. So the user enters the fixed value and selects the records he want to add the value to. How can I make this possible? Is there a dynamic variable that could record the input and use it in the automation?  Thanks
