Hi all, An incoming webhook I’m using for automation is sending an array, and I want to display this as a string. I found array functions for Airtable which would fit my need, but it seems those are not parsed in the “create record” action functionality when configuring this automation. Is there anything I can do to use this property? Also, when I pick the “insert as grid/list” options I get a popup with “An error has occurred”. But maybe I have the field type wrong? So if I can get that one to work that would be awesome too.

i would like to set up a automation to copy the( date created field value ) to another date filed i can do this via a formula but i need it done via a Automation

We are collecting payments with Typeform via Stripe, all responses land into our table. Is it possible to trigger automate refund for a payment from Airtable? Has anyone had any experience with this?

Hey everyone, Is it possible to turn automations on and off from a script? I’m trying to turn them all off automatically during weekends, so messages don’t show up until monday. My caveman way would be something like const d = new Date(); let day = d.getDay(); if (day !== 0 && day !== 6) { //Turn all automations off } Would that make any sense? Or would it be better if I leave my automations on forever and try to script them in order to only activate on weekdays? Thanks in advance

Hi, I am trying to set an incoming webhook to create a new record. When testing the webhook, it doesn’t work. I got a 404 response and the test gives me the following error: “This URL has not received any requests recently.” That is happening immediately after I curl the hook. anybody with the same error / situation?

Hi community, I need your help. I try to create multiple records with automation. If the new record created has the product A and “3month”, you have to create 3 records : 1st record : Add the product 1, product 2 and product 3 2rd record : add the product 4, 5 and 6 … To match the product i have to add when i create record, i create a data base with : Product A : Month 1 / Product 1, 2 and 3 Product A : Month 2 / Product 4,5,6 … Can you help me please ? Hey all, I’ve been working on a Powershell script that creates many text files of various directories scattered on a network. Each text file contains lists of the file content of a network directory, name and extension. I figured I may as well use Airtable to audit each text file - which it does well. But the catch is, I’m not sure how I can actually parse a text file that I’ve uploaded into the Airtable attachments field into a Long Text field. Can this be done via an Automation? It was great when I discovered that I could bulk upload Text.txt files into separate records via the Gallery View Yellow button, simply select a bunch of files and drag it to the button - Excellent - that solved my first hurdle!!! But… now… I’m slightly concerned that as easy as those text files were to upload, I’ve no actual method to copy their content into a Long Text field and then do my usual Airtable formula thing to pull the text data apart. I have a series of views which capture items at various stages in a process based on filters of the dates and values, but I am hoping to get a daily snapshot of the queue sizes which can be exported into a excel report to show the progress and change of any bottlenecks. Is there a way to capture the number of items in a view, and if so for a given period in time? I was originally thinking of using an automation trigger based on a value that calculates which view it should be in, but time triggers do not seem to look at anything that isn’t time related.

Hi, Here’s my problem. I need to build monthly funnel statistics showing me how many candidates were on each step (each step equals some status: new, interview, test task, etc.). For example, I have 25 new candidates (status “New”), 20 of them passed the 1st recruitment step (status “Interview”), 15 of them passed the 2nd step (another status “Test task”), and so on through the recruitment pipeline. Stages are single-select type field. Question. I didn’t find a suitable app to cover this goal, can you please suggest if there is a solution to show us such historical statistics every month?

Hi, I sell box plant with suscription. The customer choose on my website 3 ou 6 month and one on the subscription type : A,B,C,D. The record come from shopify and come to Airtable. I want to create a record by month with the product i have to send : for exemple, for 3 month, 3 records with the product i have to delivery. Dear Airtable Community, I need your help with the mailing automatization. I need to send the same email to mullite people. Here’s my issue: I created an automation of sending out emails which works great. The only thing is that most often, I need to send out the same email to multiple people: I need that emails send automatically to several recipients’ emails that I put into each record. I’ve tried using a long form with “email1@email.com; email2@email.com;” as the Email Address Field, but it only sends to the first email. Could you please tell me if it’s somehow possible to do? Hello, I have two date fields: one set as a date type for content entry/management and the other one for specific time zone display purposes. This works great at in the table view: However, when I want to display those same values (grid view) in an automation email, my formula for the formatted date renders nothing: This is the formula I am using: DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE({Date}, 'America/Chicago'), 'M/D/YYYY h:mm') Looks like this is a related issue: Automations not displaying formula references and date fields. But this does not appear to have a resolution. Thanks for the help!

I am using airtable for a membership database. I have a table for youth and a table for adults. I use a formula to calculate age and when members turn 18 they are copied to the table for adults. BUT every now and then the birthdate field gets copied over incorrectly and I get the most bizarre ages. For instance a test record was copied over with the birthdate 10/1/0200 instead of 2000 so they are listed as being 1,821 years old. And it’s not happening every time. This one happened today but a record from last week copied over correctly. Anyone have any ideas what I should look at?

Hello! I’d like to have a set of single select options that indicate a follow-up timeframe. Example: 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months… I’d then like to have an automation generate what that date would be, where the automation would take the record created date + that amount of time (2 wks, 1 month, etc.) The date generated by the automation would drive a view that looks for any follow-up dates within a week’s time span. I know how to create the view, I’m just hoping that it’s possible to create the automation to update the follow date field based on the option chosen within the single select field. Is this at all possible? Thanks in advance!

With interfaces and Automations on my mind, this old chestnut of local date/time has popped up again. Hey there, I understand the automation "when record enters a view’ will only trigger the first time a record enters a view. But what about the below “When record matches conditions, is any of” ? See picture below of my draft automation: For example If a record is marked as “Send Escrow Email” I want automation to run. If record, is later on then changed and marked as ‘Escrow Opened Already’ I want automation to trigger and run again. Will this happen? I want the automation to re-run because I am using the same webhook trigger into the single integromat scenario

I have a problem with airtable automations exporting the field “last modified time”. I created an autamation triggered by a record update and the action is “append a row in google sheet”. It seems it works fine but there is a problem with the time because on gsheet appears a difference of one hour. For example: it’s 12:00, on my pc it’s 12:00, i change a record on airtable and the the field “last modified time” is 12:00. This change triggers the automation but when the record is copied in airtable it shows 11:00. I really don’t understand why , i tried in gsheet the function NOW() but it shows 12:00 and i tried also the time formatting option “Use the same time zone (GMT) for all collaborators” but it doesn’t work. Someone knows why or how can i can fix this? Thank you very much

I cannot seem to find the right mix of terms to see if this is something already covered. TABLE-A has a number of Tasks in it. There are 92 records. TABLE-B has fields for CustomerName(Linked), Priority, and a TABLE-A(Linked) field. The primary objective is to allow me to maintain a list of tasks in TABLE-A which I can then use to build out a “project” for a customer in TABLE-B. I am trying to figure out how to create an automation that will “For each record in TABLE-A create a record in TABLE-B and associate with a customer of choice”. My secondary objective is to automatically update the project if I add records to TABLE-A, and the count grows from 92 to 100. I would like the +8 tasks to automatically roll over. I have not gone to scripting yet. I thought I could do a “if records appear in view then…” type setup but I am stumped. Any advice would be much appreciated. Hey, I want to sync my base with another endpoint. Thus I created an automation with a trigger on update > than fetch result with post request to other endpoint. The problem is, that I do not get any response. const res = await fetch(url, { method: "POST", body: JSON.stringify(body), headers: headers }) console.log(res.json()) I checked the fetch function with different endpoints, in Postman I do get the response back, but not with the fetch function from airtable. Hi there, In an opportunity table I have made a look up field that collects multiple delivery dates of a product into a single cell. When a condition is changed in the Opportunity Table (to ‘opportunity won’ or ‘sale’) a record is created in the Delivery Schedule Table based on the dates from that cell In the Delivery Schedule Table. The number of records created should correspond to the number of dates from the cell in the Opportunity Table. But no records are created when there are more than one dates. Is there a way around this somehow?

Hi Folx! Here is my scenario: I have an online event business and about ~100 contractors that are assigned events in custom software. All of the events are synced to table 1, and all the contractors are synced to table 2. The contractors are associated with their event(s) via a linked record field. All of this is done automatically and works like a charm. I would like to send a summary each week of the list of events the contractor has worked. I need help writing an automation that will: look up records from view for the previous week create a list of the records associated with each unique email address send the list of records to only that email address Where I am running into trouble is trying to have airtable send only the records associated with Contractor A directly to Contractor A. It seems like I could create a list of all records and send them to all contractors but that is not the desired outcome.

I am using the free version, no apps/scripts allowed. I can use automations, but when I add a button field to the base there is no option to link the button to an automation. Is there a way to fix that and connect the button with my automation?
