I have a column with single select option. Based on the option selected in Single select, I need a particular formula to be used to make calculations in the next column. There are around 10 options in the single select and 10 formulae corresponding to each option. Is there a way in Airtable (using Integromat) to achieve this?

I am trying to create an automation that would add a collaborator when adding a record to the airtable. So each record has a Program Specialist, that is part of a list linked to another table. I want a field where that same program specialist name is also linked to a collaborator for this row. Can automation help this become well automatic? Drew

I want to create an automation that emails a report to the managers on their employee’s individual progress at completing their monthly certifications. In my table, I have the names of the clients, the due dates, a drop-down for marking complete, the name of the employee, and the manager linked as a collaborator. One issue I keep running into is that the automation for sending an email to the manager doesn’t work. Even though I set the value to email. However, the next steps is to make a report that would show all the names of the clients and the individual status of their certifications. This way managers will see the progress of their employees.

I have a view that contains records filtered just by the coming week. Is there a way, maybe with scripting, to automatically advance the dates in the filter by 7 days, so each week the filter automatically updates with the current week’s records? Thank you!

I would like to be able to post to LinkedIn from Airtable using the automations but only when the record is ‘ready to post’ and at a specific date and time that it has been scheduled. Can anyone provide some guidance in the best possible way to do this?

After inadvertently triggering an automation several times recently, I started thinking - it would be great to have a confirmation dialog option where a dialog box could pop up with “Are you sure you want to…?” first, before the automation actually happens (in my case, sending out an email). Alternatively (or in addition to), it would be great to have an option to limit triggering the automation to only once per record, even if the conditions in the record change. Would anyone else use these features?

Hello Airtable community. I am trying to automatically create a revenue forecast in airtable but have gotten a little stuck. The use case is as follows… I create a single record for a project containing overall project value, start date, and end date. I then use a formula field to calculate the number of working days between the start and end dates. All good so far. Now, I want to automatically calculate what the average revenue(value) for that project will be during its lifetime. e.g. if the project is 12 months in duration, with a value of $120,000, I would like to be able to report $10,000 of revenue for each of those specific months. Using a relational database and some code, I would quite easily do this by creating 12 records (one for each month) with a unique key of date and project, with a value field of $10,000. My question is, is it possible to programatically do this with Airtable or, ideally, is there a slicker Airtable way of doing this?

Hello everyone! We have an issue with the Twilio app we added to a dashboard. Sending SMS directly from the base works really fine and that is great!!! However, when we use the alphanumeric sender which is well configured in Twilio, the receivers see “null” as sender. We have entered the alphanumeric sender in the field "Twilio phone number”. The SMS do go out, but the receivers see that they come from “null”. We have tested the alphanumeric sender in Twilio and it works. Is someone here familiar with that issue? Thanks for any response!

Hi! I’m trying to figure out how to extend an automation that works for one record to make it work on 200 records. I have 2 tables, which are linked. Several records from table B are linked to each record from table A. Records in table B have duplicate descriptions, but different codes, so I’d like to set an automation that links all matching records from table B when one record is linked to a record in table A. I was able to make an automation triggered by a field in a table A record, which finds records in table B with the condition being that the description matches, then updates the record from table A with the list of records from table B. This works well and would be simple enough to replicate for my ~200 records. However, the 25 automations limit means I can’t do that. I’m struggling to somehow script this to work for many records as the conditions I’ve entered are the specific code and description for one record from table B. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Is there a way to automatically link responses that come in from an airtable form, to a database that already exists? In my use case, we have a database of customers and their information (including their email address) on Airtable. I would like to send them all an Airtable form to complete. If they also supply their email address in this form, would it be able to automatically link to their record on the database without me going in and linking each one individually? So an automation in the form table, checking whether this email address exists in the database and then automatically linked to their customer record in the database if it does? Hopefully this makes sense!

So my first table is like this: The “Attendees” column was just pasted from a Zoom CSV report. It’s linked to another main “Client Directory.” That’s the easy part. Now I want to see the attendees’ individual track record via checklist like this: It makes more sense visually, but I have to manually check each box and each record. Is there a way to automate these checkboxes? Like if Orla shows up as an Attendee from the first table, it would automatically check off the Oct. 27 column on my attendance checklist? Or is there a better way to do this? I’m dealing with at least 60 attendes for 4 meetings each month. I want like a dashboard of sorts where I can easily see who has been attending or not. I had an automation that when I created a new record of a participant’s information into a time point of our survey (ex. baseline, 3 month, 6 month, etc.) that it would find records with the same participant ID and link them together. I have separate tables for each time point, and the initial automation I had working was “when a record is created in “baseline”, find records in “Master” where participant screener ID is screening ID from baseline, update records in Master with Baseline”. This automation was working perfectly fine for two weeks. I tried to enter some data yesterday and all of a sudden it’s stopped working. I get a message of “invalid filters” for the “find records step” for some reason now. I haven’t changed anything about the automation itself or the tables involved in this automation. When I test the automation, it finds the records perfectly fine but when I run the automation in practice, it says invalid filters. I’m not sure what’s wrong or what to do. Pict

What are the capabilities for managing a new hire workflow? I want to create a 15-20 step new hire process (probably via Kanban View). But from there, I would like to know what automations are possible. As the on-boarding process advances, am I able to send automated emails to the prospective employees? Am I able to send automated emails to existing employees within my current organization who are involved in the HR process? How is this accomplished? Is the standard Airtable account sufficient or do I need a different plan?

What I want to do is trigger the webhook by clicking the ‘Generate Invoice’ button and it will send the data from Airtable to Integromat webhook. Hello, I am curious if the Gmail integration will work with subdomains? For example I am sending out confirmation emails when a user submits a form informing them that we have received their submission. At the current pace I am using our main domain, but I am curious if it will allow subdomain email instead, as instead of info@domain.com it sends it via info@info.domain.com? I recently tried this but instead it reverted to my main Gmail account I verified with. Is there a step I am missing?

Hi, is it possible to automatically generate several new records at once AND give them names according to some kind of a formula? :o What I have: A “Projects” table & a “Sprints” table What I want: Whenever I create a new project, automatically create 10 new Sprints that are auto-named “S1: [project name]”, S2: [project name]", S3: [project name], etcetera. Example: Trigger: new record in “Projects”: “Buy the Empire State Building” Action: create 10 new records in “Sprints”: “S1: Buy the Empire State Building” “S2: Buy the Empire State Building” “S3: …” … …all the way up to 10. Hi, any way to automate this? Table 1 has 1000 “users” with lots of data for each user, including email address. Table 2 has a list of 500 email addresses only. What I’m looking for: if Table 2 email addresses are found within in Table 1 users, I want one of my single entry fields for those users to update in Table 1 from“l “No” to “Yes” Basically I’m trying to mark on Table 1 who belongs to Table 2 as well. I’m trying to use Google Calendar automation to create a sequence of 1 hour appointments in my calendar. I don’t have and don’t intend to create a field in my table that has the start and end time of each appointment entered manually. I was trying to develop a system at which the automation would count the number of appointments that day and automatically place the next one the hour after. Any ideias on how to create a field in the table that counts the number of appointments that same day? With that I could use DATEADD() to increase the starting time of the appointment by 07:00am + number of appointments of that day. Tks in advance!!
