Is there a way to increase the number of allowed automations per workbase? We’re on the pro plan for now. That’s the only thing we need.

Hello, I am new to Airtable and I have been trying to automate a weekly email. My issue is that in the text of the email I want to automate the fields that will be weekly updated. However, whenever I check the “all fields” method, it does not include all of the fields. I tried doing it manually and just by selecting the “all fields” but nothing seems to work. Would someone be open to help? Thank you

setting up an invoicing system for an air B&B, individual rooms are rented for varying days at my house. I want to be able to click the + on my calendar view and add a single day to be billed for. I have a ‘line item’ system set up that works great other than this issue. my problem is that unless i make the event TWO days my quantity field with the formula: DATETIME_DIFF({End Date}, {Start Date}, ‘days’) displays as 0, therefore charging nothing. how can i make one day = 1?

Issue: I have an automation I want to run one at a time on newly imported Contact records that are imported (multiple at a time) via copy and paste. This automation works when if I trigger it with one new record (I’m just duplicating an existing record to check), but fails if I paste in 4 new records (copy and paste). Here’s the setup: I have an Organization Table that has a URL website field and a Contacts table with an Email field. I have formula fields on both tables that extract the email domain @company.com from the Email (Contacts Table) and the probable email/website domain from the website (Organization field). I have an automation that triggers when a new contact record matches conditions — basically when it’s created today, the Contact email line isn’t empty and the single select Import Tag field is not empty (to discern between importing contact records and existing ones). I have created a form, and am setting up an automation so that when someone submits the form (creates a record), my coworker receives an email notification with all the submitted fields. When inserting as “Render as HTML List,” I am unable to edit the order of the list. This results in the email my coworker receives looking confusing and out of order. I would like it to match the order in the form view, or the order of my fields/columns in a grid view. Can this be fixed, while maintaining the HTML list style? (It seems that the list is stuck as the order in which the fields were created… )

Hi, I have a table with products and there is a column that has the category of each product, I would like to have another table but only with the categories that are in the first. Is there a way to do it? Like extract the existent categories from a table? Thanks

Would like to know is there a way to do automation so that I can count how many times I have checked a checkbox? :white_check_mark: The counter (or variable?) should increase by 1 every time I check a checkbox in the corresponding record. It should NOT decrease by 1 if the checkbox is unchecked. :white_medium_small_square: I need this function/automation because I have recurring tasks every week and want to count the times I completed the task. Also, I think there is currently no way to uncheck a checkbox by formula / automation. How can I make my weekly tasks show up to be unchecked when a new week starts? Thanks! P.S. (brand new to Airtable) Hi everyone, I have a form and plan on having lots of submissions in the next few days. I want to make it easier on the client so they know which submissions are brand new. Hypothetically when they wake up and check the chart when there are new records they’ve never seen, it says “new submission” or something similar. Let me know. I am building a simple daily task management automation. I want any task that was not Done to be forwarded to the next day at 3AM so when I start work I have all uncompleted tasks automatically in today’s task list. So far… Trigger When records matches conditions When Date is yesterday And Status is not Done Action Update record Record ID: Record (step 1 Trigger) | Field values | Date Fields: Date | Today() Also tried DATEADD( Date, 1, ‘days’) Trigger test ran successfiully. So I’ve finally decided to go pro with Airtable, so cool! I bumped into a workflow problem, where, for example I have timesheet entries in a timesheet table that each have a corresponding weeknum column, and I’m wondering if it’s possible for an Invoice table to automatically drawout the matching timesheet entries for each week? I can get things manually working, with an error checking formula that also flags if I’ve made a manual mistake - but I’d really like for the Invoice table to be automated based on the timesheet entries table. Is this possible? Screenshots below showing the two tables, fairly simple stuff - fingers crossed I can do this with a little guidance.

When I am trying to make a POST request to the webhook I receive CORS error: “Access to XMLHttpRequest at {hookUrl} from origin {mySite} has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn’t pass access control check: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.” ‘Content-Type’: ‘application/json’ header is attached to my request, I send a valid JSON and it is a POST request. When I use a special extension that bypasses CORS request works. But I need that any user could send the request (it is sent from the contact form)

I am trying to write a script triggered by a record update. I want the script to compare the value that was in the record before the change to the changed value. Depending on what the value was before to what it is now I’m going to do different things. Is there any way, within the automation scripts, to get the field value before the change happened? I have a feeling this isn’t possible but maybe someone knows away.

Hi, I saw a post from Feb/2020 on this topic, but after more than a year I would like to know if we evolve in this regard. is there any way to create the views automatically? I have some events that enter the airtable and if this event is for company A, you must create a calendar view for company A, if it is an event for company B, you must create a view for company B… and so on against. Does anyone know if it is possible to do this?

Hello. Is it possible to create an automation that, when triggered, will update all records linked to a common record? Example: 3 tables- Customers, Entries, Payments In Entries there will be several records linked to a customer. When a customer makes a payment for those entries a record, linked to the customer, is created in Payments. I’d like to set up an automation that updates all the records that are linked to that customer as ‘paid’. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Katy

Hello! I need help with grouping. So instead of easily grouping my linked event dates and seeing the sum beside it. I need to group those dates by the sum ( total number of events within each date). I have read other topics and it states that I need to create a formula or a another field with a count formula, but I am unsure on what the formula would be. I am a novice to Airtable and I’m sure there is an easy solution…I just don’t know :frowning:

I have a fairly complicated script that classifies inbound emails written to my Airtable via Integromat. The script is based on text string matching against the content of the email. Script triggers every time a new record is written to my table and enters a view - ie it uses the ‘when record enters a view’ trigger, and it functions very well. This script processes hundreds of emails per day, and the content of those emails can change at any time, so I’m regularly adding new text strings to my script so it can recognise new variants of the incoming emails it processes. This works fine for auto-classifying the future emails that match the most recent text string update in my script, but very often by the time I’ve updated the script with a new variant I’ll already have tens of matching emails already in my table, and it requires manual work to go back and classify them. What is the best/most elegant way to re-run my classifier script over the existing reco

I can see a way of using formulae with date and time calculations but this is such a convoluted way of having to delay an action from a trigger. My use case involves referencing a synced table - but as the sync doesn’t happen in real time I want to delay my automation until it has. I foresee this need growing. it would be great to see a delay action in automations.- anyone with simple work around or ways of getting this up the priority list ? .

Good afternoon from a relatively newbie! I am working on a volunteer project where the organization is giving away certain items “first come, first serve.” I have created a form for interested people to make a request for an item, but, when the inventory is 0, I want a “pop-up” message on the Form to say “Sorry! That item is no longer available. Please select a different item.” What I would prefer is a conditional lookup for the item field that would not display it as an item if the inventory table says the quantity is 0. Any ideas would be much appreciated! Tim

I have a base that is for “equipment” management. Basically it shows every piece of equipment we have on site and where it is (plus a bunch of other info). When we install a new room, or make changes I would like to be able to update it en-masse without having to search for and change each record. EXAMPLE: airtable: TV1 - Room 100 - serial# 34555 TV2 - Room 150 - serial “blank” New spreadsheet/table TV1 - Room 600 - blank TV2 - Room 234 - 098733 TV3 - Room 567 - 09292 ADJUSTED AIRTABLE after automation TV1 - Room 600 - serial# 34555 (room changed) TV2 - Room 234 - 098733 (room changed, serial entered) TV3 - Room 567 - 09292 (new record created) I’ve been working on the concept of having a table specifically for storing updates, but so far have been unable to successfully “link to” the associated record ID. Hi! I am using Airtable for aback end to my business and have just got a notification that I have exceeded the number of automations I am allowed (I don’t think it is number of runs, I am way off that, it is the number of automations itself - I have 25 in the base but also save backup copies o the database int he same workspace). I was surprised by this limit as it isn’t particularly clear int he pricing plans but have found some reference to it in the help sections. Does anyone know if you can increase this limit by paying more money, and/or any work arounds? Any help much appreciated!! Simon

Hello wonderful Airtable community, I am working on an email automation that will report on student progress through a variety of courses. I have each course listed as a single-select field, then the possible grades listed as the options to select. I want to send an email report that shows these grades: Class 1: {GRADE} Class 2: {GRADE} My problem is that no matter what options I select when building the automation, the GRADE field shows up blank.
