How can a newb find his webhook url so i can have vapi communicate with airtable -   i have this set up in another account and copying all to a new client account - and i can not rember how I got the url to add to vapi?  halp if you can

Hi,In my Airtable, I have a simple Work Order app, connected to Softr.My tables are: Owners, Units, Work Orders. All 3 tables are linked.I would like to automate (autofill?)  “Owner’s Name Surname” in Work Orders  tableWhen a user chooses an Unit (like in WO 6),  Owner’s Name Surname  should be automatically filled (in WO 6 -  “John Doe”).(I can rearrange  Owners  table, and make   Owner’s email   as primary field, if that will help)I have tried different Automations, but I couldn’t make it. Thank you very much. 

I just tried out automating sending some emails with Airtable. Is there a way to remove the Airtable branding? The „via Airtable“ in the from field, as well as the „Sent via Automations on Airtable“ at the bottom? Thanks!

Hi,I have a content management system in Airtable where I could use some automation support. I am attempting to use the new Airtable AI, but it just won't work the way I want it. What I want to do is:Request a new record (requests new content using a form) to be created, it currently creates a Google Doc with the record details on it and changes the status to "assign to writer"I want to have it where if I assign the writer as "AI" it submits the record details to AI (with a detailed prompt I created).Writes the content and places that content on the Google Doc.I have it producing the AI generated content within Airtable using the prompt but can't get it to add that content to the Google Doc and update the database field to "For Review". I don't want to use Zapier/Make if I can help it.Has anyone had success with this or have an idea, and would you mind sharing a shot of your

Hey all, this is my first post, so I hope I do this right! I have created an automation that, when a field box is ticked, a series of Find Records run. Each Find Record action gathers a list of records (people) that meet certain conditions. This is followed by an Update Record, that adds the linked records to a single field. The Update Record step looks like this: Find Record 1 record ID, Find Record 2 record ID, Find Record 3 record ID. This works perfectly unless one of the Find Records comes back empty, in which case the whole automation fails. Two the Find Records often come back empty, so this is a problem. I’ve played around with conditional actions, which is messy but it kind of works until a conditional action has an empty Find Record, where the automation stops and doesn’t move down to the next condition(s). Can anyone think of a workaround? Thanks in advance!

I’m not even sure the correct terminology so having difficulty looking it up.  I am creating a form with timeslots.  I need people to fill out the form and select a timeslot, but once someone has selected one, that timeslot shouldn’t be able to be selected by someone else.  Is this even possible?

I see several posts that are similar to my question, but I haven't been able to find the actual solution yet.  I have a database of all our locations, and at any given time we have about 40 pending locations. I'd like to send an automated email to the listed manager each month asking for an update until the status is changed from pending to open.  Some managers have multiple pending locations at one time so I'd like to only send one email per manager rather than multiple if there are several pending in their area. There's probably a few ways to do this, but for now I have a rollup column on a different table that breaks down by district all the pending locations.Any thoughts?

Current Issue:By default, Airtable automations trigger every time a defined condition is met, such as when a field is updated. However, in cases where changes happen in quick succession, the automation may run multiple times unnecessarily. This leads to inefficiencies and potential inconsistencies in workflow execution. Objective:I want to configure an Airtable automation that runs only after a certain period of time has passed since the last change, rather than triggering immediately with every update. This delay would allow for multiple consecutive changes to "settle" before the automation executes, preventing unnecessary or redundant triggers. 

I have a date field that I am wanting to use to send a slack notification when it is updated and/or changed, however while doing planning I am amending that date field multiple times to settle on the final agreed date - is there a way in which that slack notification can only be triggered once the date is settled and planning has been completed? 

I have 100 people in my database, I want to send an email to each (email is in record) and in the email have a  button (webhook or form) that updates another field in their record. Example: Do you support the project? Button or form could either just have "Yes" (with no click being implied "No") or a form 

Hey all,I’m getting the dreaded “received invalid inputs” but it’s not specific.I have a form that someone fills out to get a “certificate” number in another table.There’s a specific view for the Non-Assigned certificates. There are two tables, one that stores the form’s data, and another that has a listing of certificate numbers and such. Now I’d set it up as such: Then the Find Records settings:  Not sure what else to do???   

Hi there, I’d like to create an automation that, when triggered manually, appends all records that match certain conditions to a Google Sheet (that I then apply built-in formulas to in the sheet). My first attempt was to choose the trigger “When record matches conditions” but that only seems to fire for when a new or updated record matches conditions, not for when an existing one does. How might I set up the conditions and action and then for a trigger be able to just click a button like “run” or turn it on? Is there another way to do this?

Hello!I created a Project Template base that has various phases and steps with our design process. This base will be duplicated and renamed as new projects come in.I also created a separate Project Dashboard base, to be used to get a birds eye view of all the active projects going on at once.In the Project Template base there’s a table with a name, assignee, and project status fields. This grid view is synced to the Project Dashboard.Once I duplicate the project template base and rename it to the new project, is there a way to pull in the new name of the base into the name field?I didn’t see anywhere in the functions to pull in the base name. I was able to generate the base name using the script extension +  output.text(`${base.name}`);, but I don’t see a way of bringing that information into the name field.Thank you for your help!

See screenshots below - I've used the "find records" option many times, and always restrict it to a specific view.  Only this time, and any time I test the find records action anywhere globally, it suddenly seems to stop at 10 records. The description still lists the limit as 100 records, it just stops at 10.  The view in question has 52 records in it. I've even went so far as to test this on older automations which we've since stopped using (afraid to touch any currently running automations for fear they might stop working properly).I've recreated the automation, refreshed the page, re-sorted/grouped records, but have not been able to work around the issue.Has anyone else ran into this?

I have a database and I would like that each time a person registers in the form, if he/she already exists in the database, just update his/her information and do not duplicate the contact (the database contains his/her ID number which is unique). Thanks!!

Hi community members, I’m setting up an automation that triggers based on the date but running into a problem with getting the values of the record that triggered the automation… To give you context, the main table is "Reservation" and contains all details of the reservation. In it, there is also a linked field "Yacht" which points to another table "Yachts". I have also added 2 lookup fields in Reservations : yacht name and yacht model. I defined the input variables but when I want to output them, the linked fields are empty arrays (see screenshots below). Please advise on how to fix it because I need to pass these values via webhook for further use. 

Hey everyone!This is my first post here, so forgive me if it sounds like a silly question. We’re currently working on a script to send an automated message via Slack every time a new record is created in Airtable. We’re using a script, rather than the pre-built Slack automation, as we need more advanced styling options and a button that takes you to a specific Airtable interface page.I have just figured out how to call Name and Address values from the record in the first step of the automation, but I’d like to be able to use these values in the message itself. How do I call the Name or Address in the message part of the script, so that they appear as text?Hope someone can help — thanks in advance!Alan

Hi, I’ve built some automations to send an email when a button is pressed. In the TO: and CC: fields, we use email addresses that forward to a distribution list. Think something like company_operations@misc.com and that will send to 5 people.  For some reason when the automation runs, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. And it’s very inconsistent in what’s causing the problem.  Any thoughts on what the fix could be? (Other than just listing all the people on the distribution lists individually since that could be 30+ email addresses.) Thanks in advance!

Hi!I’m creating an automation that creates a record on another table every time that record is updated in the main table. I want to limit this to whenever the update is by adding something, not deleting. Ex: I have an asset that is being used in campaign X. I’m creating a seperate table when whenever this asset is updated to be used in a particular campaign, the table will create that line. If that same asset is then later used in another campaign it will create another entry in that table so I can track performance per campaign. The issue is that if by mistake I update it with the wrong campaign and then delete it, when I delete it (it counts as an update) and it create another record in the automated table. How can I overcome this?Thank you

My system allows people to sign up for projects and when they sign up, I have an automation running that adds them to the projects table from the users table. The issue is, it’s not allowing that user to be added to multiple projects. If a user clicks the link on a different project, they are removed from the first one. Any insights on why this behavior is happening?

I am struggling with the last stage of an automation and keep getting a message that it's received invalid inputs but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm a Literary Agent and have a Titles table, an Authors table and an Editors Table.When I'm working on a book and chat to an editor about it I have a section in the title field where I can add a link to an editor who wants to see that book and it will create a new entry in my submission tracker that is named 'Title - Editor' so that when I come to do my submission I have a full list of who I've spoken to in the right place. This brings through the title/author information no problem, but, the editors are all lumped in together on the linked field which means I can't separate out and easily find the publisher/imprint info. I've created a formula that will pull the editor name from the main field on this table. I built a project management tool using softr as the UI. I am looking to build an airtable automation that sends and email upon various triggers with the airtable data. The triggers seem to work fine, I am having trouble pulling in the data I need from related records in other tables. The data structure in this example would be:Project Table - has a field containing project members. This field is related to the user table Users table - has individual records for each user and a field in each user record containing all the projects it is associated with Drafts Table - Each record contains the data about a video draft I have built, including the project the draft is related to.The desired automation would detect a new draft record has been created and find the associated project record which contains a field defining the “primary project contact”. Hi all - a weird thing is happening with this automation. On the table, I have a view sorted on a particular manager, employee type and status, resulting in 72 records - which is correct. When I set up an automation, I need an email sent to a particular email address that includes that table view (in either a list or grid) in the body of the email, which I’ve built and it works - apart from the resulting email that is created only contains the first 10 records, not all 72. And I can’t, for the life of me, figure out why it’s doing that. I understand the preview is limited to just 10, but I am getting this result if I run the automation from start to finish. In the Find Records, I’ve tested both Condition and View and redid the automation and I get the same result. It’s not wrong, as the 10 records it’s showing are indeed in that table, but it’s only the first 10, I need all 72. Any suggestions? I’m getting desperate lol.
