Hi All,I hope this message finds you well!I’m currently working on a project in Airtable that involves two different bases, and I need help ensuring that when a record is marked as "Complete" in one base, it also reflects as "Complete" in the other base without the person manually marking 2 separate records in different bases. I am trying to integrate airtable to make.com to do outbound calling to vapi. I'm having an error message / not getting a connection option. In make.com to Airtable connecting my airtable OAuth connection is empty error message is showing - the base error value must not be empty.

Hello,I am using actionable messages in slack to approve or deny purchase requests, holiday requests etc. Usually when I use interfaces for this I have buttons which update a field with the user who approved the request. I'm not sure how to replicate this using the slack actionable messages. There seems to be a token for 'user that took action' but I can't get it to populate either a user field or a text field with anyhting

Hi there,I'm trying to build automations for updated a multiple select field. The records in my table all have a "last updated date" field, which obviously changes every time a record is updated. There are two scenarios I am trying to solve for:1. When it has been over 12 months since the last update, I would like to add a tag in a multiple select column for "Last updated >12 months". I have figured this out using these instructions. 2. The next scenario I'm trying to solve for is when a record whose last updated date was >12 months ago (and is tagged "Last updated >12 months" is updated, therefore changing the "last updated date" field, and wanting to remove the "Last updated >12 months" tag from the multiple select field. How do I accomplish #2 with an automation? Hello !I'd like external users (not on airtable) to find specific records in a airtable thanks to a form filtering a database.Ex : I have a dataset of clothes, with criteria : type (tshirt, pullover, pant), prices, size, colorAnd I'd like my customer to be able to tick in a form those criteria (or not), so that I send him (or he sees) a database with only the specific records. ex : he ticks thisrt & pant, between 30 & 60€, M, blue, then lands (or have by email) the list of the 40 products that meet those conditions (among 3K products).Thanks a lot !!!

I have an airtable graph in which I would like to export to PDF before my automation sends a message to slack. The automation message I'd like to include the PDF as an attachment. Is this possible?The issue I'm running into is the link does not show a preview to the graph and I was hopeful it would show an image preview.

I am currently using Airtable to manage payment records for my team. I have set up a workflow where each team member completes a form, and based on that information, we generate a personalized invoice using the Page Designer extension. I would like to know if there is a way to automate the sending of this invoice as a PDF attachment directly from Airtable. My goal is that, once a team member completes the form, the PDF would automatically be generated and sent via email to the appropriate person. So far, I haven’t found an option to save or send the PDF directly within the platform. If anyone knows how it could be done but through some external tool or platform, I could also use that information. Hi everyone,I have the below Make / Integromat scenario:It catches a wehook URL containing a record ID, gets the data associated with that record ID to create a Google Docs document from a template.A share link to the file is then generated and used to upload the target file to an Airtable attachment field.It then searches for a state of a status single select field and depending on the state, it will create and send a pre-written email with the file in the attachement field attached to it, unshare the file and change the state of the status field to disable further sending.My problem is that what is uploaded to the attachment field is not the actual file but the share link to it.For security reason, I would like to unshare the file once it is uploaded since I read that once a file is uploaded to an attachment field, Airtable replace it

Hi, I have several forms that are filled out repeatedly in our Property Management company. I would like to automate the process by using base data. Hi, everyone!We are using Page Designer for creating our Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes and so on. But when we create the file, it is only allowing to print or save as PDF option. It is really handy that taking data from two tables when creating documents with Page Designer. I wonder if it is possible to automate Page Designer to save it into attachment section in related row. If it is not, we are using Make for automations, how can we achieve that goal? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance!

I'm trying to set up an automation where 1 hour before a call date & time, sends an email to remind the person. I've tried creating a column to have a formula that is the date & time matches now - mark as "SEND NOTIFICATION" but this doesn't seem to work properly. I don't know if this is because the time is in PST and I'm in GMT. But does anyone cleverer at this than me help with a simple solution.Thank you!

Hello, I'm trying to use airtable to email callers templated information about products. I have a grid view where I can enter an caller's email, select from product list (a, b, c), then use the Button feature to trigger a SendGrid email that contains information about the selected product that is retrieved from a lookup table (a - info text, b-info text, and so on). This all works very smoothly except I would like to create a Form to enable staff to use this process without having to interact with the grid view. So I would like to somehow automate the pressing of the "Send email with SendGrid" button once the Form is submitted/record created. Is there a way to do this?Thanks for any ideas you have.

 I'm trying to add a link to a calendar event created by automation. I THOUGHT markdown would work, as per this article. But when I test the automation, it seems the markdown just doesn't do anything.Am I missing something painfully obvious?

Hello,I'd like to ask for help in troubleshooting an automation. I built an automation that works correctly when I "Generate a Preview". BUT, when I go to actually use it, the automation does NOT work. I.e., it does not update my live/active Base in the same way that it updated the Test Record. Actually, it appears to have done *nothing* to my Live Base, lol. Hello community, I have an automation that informs the user by e-mail if the deadline of a task is before the start date. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it is not possible to set a dynamic validation for fields that would prevent this.However, if the user wants to move the timeline for the task, he usually changes the start date first and then the due date. this triggers the automation. Does anyone have an idea how to prevent this? best regardsMirko

I am using Airtable to create an advanced social media calendar. It is used to manage 150 social media accounts - each account corresponds to a specific university.A student submits a form with pictures and a caption that they would like to have posted on their schools account. When the form is submitted, a record is created in Airtable. All records for all schools go into the same Table and are tagged with the school on which the content should be posted via a linked record. There is a second table that has the list of all of the schools.I would like to create a function or automation that assigns each record with a date and time to be posted. Each school instagram account can only post 5 records per day - for example one at 10am, one at 12pm, one at 2pm, one at 4pm, and one at 6pm. The function should be able to assign each record with the next available posting slot for that school. The posting times should also be determined per school, via the list of the schools

I was trying to set up an automation that after 5 minutes of a scheduled date and time in a record email the person of the record but I can't find that option in the automation list.

I have 2 tables (Table 1 and Table 2) in a base (Base B). I have created 2 automations, the second one is not working.The records are created in Base A - Table 0 and synced to Base B - Table 1, so Table 1 is a synced table. The first automation works: When a record enters Table 1 (view X), a record is created in Table 2. The second automation doesn't work: when a record is updated in Table 1 (view X, all fields), update the record in Table 2The error is: The record does not exist. I wonder whether the problem is the fact that its a synced record. The record IDs in Tables 1 and 2 are exactly the same, but Table 0 shows a different one.Would anyone know how to fixt it? Thank you in advance. 

I highly suggest adding Multi-Trigger capabilities to Automations. This would enable users to require multiple Trigger rules to take place in order for an action to run. To optimize this functionality, users should have the option to run their automations in three ways: Only if ALL trigger rules are true If ANY trigger rules are true If custom formula is true (i.e.: IF TriggerA and Trigger B are true, OR IF Trigger A is true and Trigger B is false…)

Hi there, I am trying to use an automation with the following setup : Trigger : When a record is created (in Table 1) Action 1 : Find record (in Table 2), where Name = Field 1 from Trigger Action 2 : Update record (in Table 1), with Record ID = Airtable Record ID from Trigger In this action 2, I am trying to update several fields using field values from Action 1. However, I noticed that the automation is only working when ALL fields from Action 1 used in Action 2 are not empty. If at least one of these fields is empty, the automation will fail with the following error message : Failed to construct the value for “Fields”. I suspect that the Find Record action only bring fields with non empty data and ignore the others. Is it the expected behaviour ? Any workaround that doesn’t involve creating a formula field for each field that I am trying to get the value from in Ac
