I have an automation set up to find records based on a view. In that view - there are 17 records. When I test or run the automation, it only returns 10 records. I can't figure out why this is dropping 7 records. I've tried recreating the automation, and I still get the same issue. I was thinking there might be an extra space. But I can't seem to find it. 

I have a pre-filled form that is launched from a button in a record in the Assets table. When the form is submitted, the automation is triggered. A new record is created in the Updates table. Then, there's a Find Record step where a condition is entered to find the record to be updated in the Assets table. Right now, I'm using the condition Today's Date.That's fine for testing but what I really want to do is let the Find Record value be the record from the Assets table from which I launched the form in the first place using a button.How do I refer to that Rec ID? 

Hi everyone! I'm trying to build monthly employee attendance with NFC tag. Basically when you "scan" nfc tag with your phone, it open up AT Form for submitting your entry or leave (start in the morning, start of the break, end of the break and end of work). In this form you can choose what type of entry or leave you're submitting. Name is preffiled (and linked to another table with personal information about Of course, when submitting the form, every entry from the form is in a new record. Is it possible to combine all four records into one (for one day)? And after that, I want to calculate duration (how long was one working and how long was on break). I tried by updating the field in another table, but I don't know how to define where (to which record) should information update (so for the specific employee and for a specific date). 

I've currently got an automation set to pull text fields from multiple records as a list into a Google doc. However, I'd like for the field names to not generate in the Google doc, just the content of the field. I'd like to create an automation to send out a notice to individuals who did not meet their quota using data from a spreadsheet.So every week we get an individual's timesheet that is placed in a Google Sheet. Using this data, I'd like to make an automation to send out a notification to an individual if they have not completed their quota. With each failure of the quota, I'd also like to increase the amount of "Strikes" listed, if they reach 3 strikes, another notification is sent to a supervisor listing the person(s) that did not complete the quota. Relatively new to Airtable, any help is appreciated.

Hi, I want to create an automation that creates different events based on a form submission and pushes them to our website. 80% of all the events organised are recurring and we have over 400 per month. Recurring in this case means weekly, bi-weekly, certain day of the month or certain day in a specific week.Currently have two tables set-up (check table for internal purposes & live table). The live table contains all the events for the current month and are 2-way synced with the website.Struggling with the events that take place after the current month. For the 80% recurring about 20% is able to small changes (e.g. same date, but different location or starting time). Whenever an event passed, the event itself is automatically swapped with a new upcoming one to maintain the live URL on the website, instead of creating new pages for every event.What would be an efficient way to easily moderate the all the upcoming events? I am trying to create an automation to transform a row with multiple linked records to multiple rows, each with one linked record. Ideally, they would appear on the same table. This is for a historical database where I track where people were over time, and it has four tables:(1) Location (registries of where people were at a particular moment in time)(2) Place (a list of cities where people could appear)(3) Person (a list of people, some of whom had the same name)(4) Reference (a list of archives where I get my information from)On the Location table, I have several registries where multiple people appear at the same place at the same time. Is it possible to create an automation to transform those rows into multiple rows, one for each person? Is there any automation in which I can transfer the whole record as it is to another table when it meets certain condition?Basically I have table 1 where once I click approved, the record should go to table 2. I am aware about the create a new record method were we can map all the data from table 1 columns to data in table 2 columns but I have nearly 100 columns and need to be done in 4 tables the same thing. It is very time consuming.

EDIT: I was able to solve my issue. My field configuration for linked records wasn't set up correctly. I think I just needed fresh eyes on it the next day.I am trying to create the following automation:Trigger: If a check box is selected on Table 1, thenAction: Send emailAction: Create a record on Table 2 using selected fields from Table 1Action: Uncheck the box from the initial trigger on Table 1When I run the automation on a record in testing, everything works perfectly, both when testing the individual parts as well as the automation as a whole, but after making it live and trying to trigger it, only the emails get sent and the next two actions are not completed. Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong?

I have a Typeform question with multi select options. Right now, when the Typeform is filled out, the answers are sent through Zapier and then through to Airtable. Airtable will group the multi select answers into one field. For example for "do you identify as any of the following?" it will group "WomanBlack" together instead of as separate fields in the same Airtable cell ("woman" "black") - Can someone advise? Also how do I have the "Other" and typed answer populate into a different cell?

Im using the Maps extension and have that working properly. All my records plot nicely. The map marker pin/icon is somewhat adjustable in color, size, etc.Can I have the maker display a record number, instead of just a generic colored pin?I know that I can hover/click on the pin for data. But Id like to print the entire map on a plotter, and be able to identify each pin, from that static print. So, instead of just a colored pin, id like the field number to show as the pin on the map. 

I am working on a database with info taken from an old access database. There are five Tables.Every one of them has a number assocated with a record along with a name or description. ExampleContacts: Contact ID, First Name, Last NameCollege: College ID, College NameProducts: Product ID, DescriptionOn the Contacts table I created a new forumula field that joins the Contact ID, First and Last Names to make Field "Name | Contact ID"This method was followed for the other tables.When I want to link the contact to the college on the Contacts Table, I have the original College ID field (that came from Access) but I want to link the "College ID | School Name". I want to build an automation in Airtable where the user creating the record, will have their domain auto-populated based on the separate table in which each person has their own domain defined.For example, if John is creating the record and the John domain is IT defined in a separate table, when the record is created from John, the domain field is auto-populated.  

Hi,I'm trying to automatically update a linked field with the data that auto populates in the "Auto" number field when a new record/line is created. I can get the data to return but it's all in one field.  I tried to use the "Update Record" option but continued to get errors Thank you 

Not sure if this belongs in automations or airtable.I want to create an automation which creates a new entry in a separate spreadsheet which is being used to track spend for inventory in my business.Ideally it creates a new entry, one for each week.When a new item is added to the main buying spreadsheet, the cost of that is taken by the automation and added onto the spend for that week. Even better if it can take it away from the spend if a refund/return is taking place.Is this possible? Sounds quite simple. If anyone can give me some advice where to start to build this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm generating Google docs using the automation. In the text of the doc, I'm inserting data from a "link" field. The link field text is getting inserted, but just as text, not as a live link. Any tips on how to make them insert as live links?See the attached pic - the red circled "link" appears as text, not a live link. Below it, the help email address appears as a live link because it's in the text of the email, whereas the Zoom link is coming from a database field. (We have 40 classes, they each have their own Zoom link.) Thank you!

I am looking for a script to assign to a button field.When a user clicks the button I would like for their username to be filled in the "Assigned To:" field. Is something like this possible?

Hello!I am hoping someone might be able to help. I have a PROJECTS table and a STAFF table, and a link between them to see all the projects that are assigned to each staff member. Once a week, projects that are completed are archived and removed from our list. However, the archived records in my linked record field on my STAFF table are still showing up. I tried to fix this by adding a Conditional Rollup Field to remove archived projects, and then linking back those Projects in a separate linked record field, but two things are happening.1. The automation linking the Rollup Field to the Linked Project Field is giving me an "insufficient permissions" error message. Trigger is when the Rollup Field is updated. I have full permissions as the creator, both tables are in the same base, and both fields are "editors and up". Also, i am able to manually copy/paste. So it should work, no?2. When I get this automation linking correctly, will it even successfully UN-link t

I have a automation that I have set to email people their response to a form I have and the date and time that gets sent out through the automation is the wrong time zone, the time zone on the form itself is correct so I'm not sure why the automation is changing the time zone? when its pulling the information from the form

Hello smart friends 🙂I've got a base I'm building to track companies within a community with their contact info and other demographic data listed.I'm pulling data from two different sources into the base (displayed as one primary table and 14 other segmented sublist tables) and need to incorporate the data in the following way:- The primary / working list that has the entire list of companies in it needs to have the ability to be segmented by "affinity" tags- The data to determine those tags is in each of the segmented lists, each of which has a handful of entries from the primary list but sorted by a particular affinity, i.e. "black-owned" or "women-owned"- And since some companies will have multiple affinities, i.e. being both "black-owned" and "women-owned", the tag column needs to be able to account for multiple entries coming potentially from each of the indiviual segmented sublists. I can see a way to link a reco

Hello!I am wondering if this might be just an Airtable "bug" or if anyone else experiences this issue.I have a notification system set up through automations. On my data table, I have a formula that will make a list of everyone who needs to be slacked/emailed from the team. Those names are then updated into a User field via an automation. This portion all works perfectly. The problem happens sporadically, some team members will receive the notifications just fine, but others on the list won't receive anything at times. The Automation has no failures and even lists the correct users as recipients. I've had everyone check their slack accounts to make sure Airtable is integrated correctly, and it definitely is because they receive other notifications just fine. Anyone out there with the same mysterious issue?

Whatever I do, I can't pass date from our CRM or Make to an date field in Airtable with the same error as per screenshot. Please help

We're using the Teams integration to send notices from AT when something happens (new email meeting a criteria, new client opened, etc.).The messages come through to Teams but are never bolded in the channels list and we don't get notifications. (Notifications work fine for all else.) We've reinstalled, re-linked, emptied the cache, everything.Is this a Teams problem?

I am looking at the template "Project Management" Template which has some good wireframes for my next project.Let's say under "Mars Explorer," / "Design 3D Model" as shown below if I change the status to "In Progress," and my start date is a bit earlier, let's say 12/25/2023. When I make that selection and change the start date, the deadline will also change because the duration is set to 2 days. So far, so good.Now, the next task in line "Develop interactive...." (the above item is its "Predecessor") will not have its start date moved by two dates (I am expecting the date to move to 12/27/2023). Is there a way to accomplish this for all Tasks whose Status is not "Done"?
