Hello!I am hoping someone might be able to help. I have a PROJECTS table and a STAFF table, and a link between them to see all the projects that are assigned to each staff member. Once a week, projects that are completed are archived and removed from our list. However, the archived records in my linked record field on my STAFF table are still showing up. I tried to fix this by adding a Conditional Rollup Field to remove archived projects, and then linking back those Projects in a separate linked record field, but two things are happening.1. The automation linking the Rollup Field to the Linked Project Field is giving me an "insufficient permissions" error message. Trigger is when the Rollup Field is updated. I have full permissions as the creator, both tables are in the same base, and both fields are "editors and up". Also, i am able to manually copy/paste. So it should work, no?2. I have a automation that I have set to email people their response to a form I have and the date and time that gets sent out through the automation is the wrong time zone, the time zone on the form itself is correct so I'm not sure why the automation is changing the time zone? when its pulling the information from the form

Hello smart friends 🙂I've got a base I'm building to track companies within a community with their contact info and other demographic data listed.I'm pulling data from two different sources into the base (displayed as one primary table and 14 other segmented sublist tables) and need to incorporate the data in the following way:- The primary / working list that has the entire list of companies in it needs to have the ability to be segmented by "affinity" tags- The data to determine those tags is in each of the segmented lists, each of which has a handful of entries from the primary list but sorted by a particular affinity, i.e. "black-owned" or "women-owned"- And since some companies will have multiple affinities, i.e. being both "black-owned" and "women-owned", the tag column needs to be able to account for multiple entries coming potentially from each of the indiviual segmented sublists. I can see a way to link a reco

Hello!I am wondering if this might be just an Airtable "bug" or if anyone else experiences this issue.I have a notification system set up through automations. On my data table, I have a formula that will make a list of everyone who needs to be slacked/emailed from the team. Those names are then updated into a User field via an automation. This portion all works perfectly. The problem happens sporadically, some team members will receive the notifications just fine, but others on the list won't receive anything at times. The Automation has no failures and even lists the correct users as recipients. I've had everyone check their slack accounts to make sure Airtable is integrated correctly, and it definitely is because they receive other notifications just fine. Anyone out there with the same mysterious issue?

Whatever I do, I can't pass date from our CRM or Make to an date field in Airtable with the same error as per screenshot. Please help

Hi. We're using the Teams integration to send notices from AT when something happens (new email meeting a criteria, new client opened, etc.).The messages come through to Teams but are never bolded in the channels list and we don't get notifications. (Notifications work fine for all else.) We've reinstalled, re-linked, emptied the cache, everything.Is this a Teams problem?

I am looking at the template "Project Management" Template which has some good wireframes for my next project.Let's say under "Mars Explorer," / "Design 3D Model" as shown below if I change the status to "In Progress," and my start date is a bit earlier, let's say 12/25/2023. When I make that selection and change the start date, the deadline will also change because the duration is set to 2 days. So far, so good.Now, the next task in line "Develop interactive...." (the above item is its "Predecessor") will not have its start date moved by two dates (I am expecting the date to move to 12/27/2023). Is there a way to accomplish this for all Tasks whose Status is not "Done"?

This doesn't seem difficult in theory, but I can't figure out a way to make it happen with automations.Situation: In my Training Feedback table, I have a lookup field "Trainer (from Training Taken)" (a lookup from the Master Training List table), from which I need to copy over the field values to the linked record field "Trainer" (linked to the Trainers table), so I can associate trainer feedback data directly with the trainer(s) in other places in my base. The problem is when there are multiple trainers (i.e. multiple values in the lookup field). When attempting a simple transfer of field values to the linked record field using an Update Record automation, the automation fails for multiple trainers. I tried a repeating list automation to Update Record for each trainer in the list of "Trainer (from Training Taken)", but that results in only the final value in the list of trainers being added to the linked record "Trainer" field, since the automation overwrites the value each

I have an automation that is using a script I found on the message boards to format numeric values to currency. It works great. I pull the value from the script into the body of an email automation. However, when there is no value in the field I am using instead of showing nothing in the body of the email it shows 0.00Below is the script being used. Hi All! So I have set up an automation that adds a tag to my "Status" column (which is a multiple select column) when a certain checkbox is ticked as true. The automation seems to run fine, BUT, it replaces any previous tags in the "Status" column that were there beforehand. Is there a way to prevent the new tag from replacing the previous tag and just adding a new one? I did do some research and it looks like in previous versions of Airtable, one could select "Append" in the action section of the automation set up, but that doesnt seem to be an option now? Anyone got any pointers for me please? x

Hey all, I currently have the pro plan and therefore have the limitation of 5000 unique email adresses per day for the “send email” automation. What would happen on a given day if I exceed this limit? Would it just fail until the next 24h period starts and therefore all the automation triggered above that limit will just fail? Would it go beyond the limit and let you off the hook with a warning? Would it start to eat your monthly limit (5000*31) until you reach it? Thanks in advance for your reply. Sincerely, Timo

Hi, I have an item status field the contains the values active, expired, and delete. in addition, I have another calculated field that contains the expiration date of the item. I want to set an automation that will run daily and change item status to expired when expiration_date < today(). I tried using the attached automation but it didnt change the status as I expected. 

Hi! I have a large existing google sheets I am trying to organize into Airtable. I own an events agency that books out talent for hundreds of events each month. This is a living document that is updated every day by people who fill out our form to book - this was a google form that dropped down into a google doc, but Airtable seems much more user friendly. I want the rows to automatically drop into date & event start time order with an AM/PM format. My current information has the date, start time & end time in separate columns but the Airtable automation has date/time within one field. Is there a way to merge this so my existing data can format without me having to re-input hundreds of upcoming events into a new spreadsheet? Screenshots of my Google Sheets spreadsheet & how it imported into Airtable. Thanks! 

Hi Yall!! So I am tying to add in an automation that uses a check box being marked as "true" as a trigger in TABLE 1 to add one of my multiple select options in TABLE 2.  An example of how I would need it to work: Table 1: Check box is marked as "Checked/True"Automation kicks inTable 2: one of the multiple selectable items in the column I need to select is added Trigger: Checkbox is checked in Table 1Action: Tag is added in Table 2 Is it possible to add in automations that work across multiple tables?  Any idea how I could build this automation? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! I have a Serial Number (SN#) that is labeled "Locker Name". I want to make sure that the SN# is 7 Characters/Digits before finishing the automation as sometimes it get typed in wrong. the SN# format is NS01234 or NS00123. People leave off the 0's from time to time. i want to create a new record with this number in a new table. Linking is not option here. Here is what i am trying to do but i am getting this error: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'length')at main on line 4     if (sn.length === 5) {       i guess i am asking how to get the Length of the value to read so that i can achieve this?? 

I am trying to generate an Invoice for line items in Airtable. New Google docs creation automation is very helpful but it lacks basic formatting functions. So, I use Microsoft Word module in Make but do not know what format I should use in this “Raw values” field. Could anyone please give me an example? I know this is not really a Airtable question but documentation on this module is quite limited. We use a webhook from Shopify to capture order data in Airtable. When the webhook comes in, we create a record in Airtable with pertinent order data. I want to parse out the line items in the order into another table for use in creating a packing slip. Here is sample data: Airtable - MA Test The Data table represents the data as it comes in from the webhook. The Desired Output table represents the ideal output. This is where I need help, creating an automation/script to parse out that data into new rows. Thanks for your help!

So we've set an Airtable Automation where every day at 12:00PM it sends an email digest to the project managers to show Rush or High Priority tasks that are due today or before today. I had one question:Is there a way to have the link of each task on the email? For instance, once we get those emails with the tasks due, it would be nice to have it where each task comes with the respective Airtable link that leads to the corresponding task right away. I've attached the screenshot of the current automation set. Hi AllHoping there's a simple solution for this: I have a table that is updated regularly with status changes, content changes and also linked records.I would like to send the users of the base a daily email at night that shows a grid of those records that have been updated that day. This way they will get a clear picture of what happened each day. Many other PM tools provide this automatically. This is not an email that is sent as soon as a change occurs but rather it will be a scheduled emails that contains ALL the records that were changed that day.Is this possible? Thanks very much!

Hello Community,I have a table with events and a linked table with needs for the events. Different needs can be assigned to each event. Each event and each need has a status. I would like that if all needs that are assigned to an event have the status "delivered" or "declined", that the status of the event changes to Needs processed.Does anyone have an idea how I can implement this?Best regardsMirko

I have two tables. The first is a item "types" as below...the second is a table of "details". Each row represents 1 item of the total number of that item type. Each row in the second table will have unique data, like an ID, a physical address and a QR code....If I add a new row in to table 1, with a qty of 20 units (in the Qty column), how can i automatically add that many rows to the second table, and link them to the dislay type from the first table?Thanks
