I'm trying to create an automation that when I update a record then it also updates another record in a different table. I've watched several videos on Youtube on how to do this and it seems pretty straightforward enough.I created the trigger, tested it and it works fine. But the Action is where I keep running into the "Received invalid inputs" error. This is mainly due to the Record ID that's causing the issue it seems. It seems I'm not alone on this issue. I searched on here for answers but it's still doesn't help. What am I missing?Would be great if this Record ID process was simplified since Airtable doesn't show the actual Record ID itself on the tables and records.

Hi folks,I've been trying to solve this puzzle all day; there are quite a few scripting examples in the community here that I've tried to adapt to my use, to no avail.Here's the situation:These two columns should be ordered exactly the same, except that the one on the right gets jumbled up during a "find records" step in an automation that populates this field.They're ordered this way in the line items table, but for some reason the "find records" step jumbles them up:I need a script or formula that will re-order the line items in ascending order according to the purple-circled numbers in the line item IDs. I have used Batch Update to do the job, but I'm looking for an automated solution that will sort the line items for use in a Zap that creates an invoice - and the line items need to be in a particular order.Thanks for your help in advance,Shawn : ) 

New to automations - I would like send a reminder email to trigger when date is TODAY.  The field in the record is Target Date.  The automation states "when Target Date is TODAY".  This works, but the trigger continues to send a reminder email beyond the date in the record.  For example, the date is 3/1/24.  The reminder email was sent on 3/1/24.  However, I notice over the weekend that the reminder email was sent on Saturday 3/2 and Sunday 3/3.   

 I am trying to automate my order fulfillment process. It's a subscription service where products are in a certain sequence. Subscriptions can be monthly, 6-month, or 12-month. The products are the same and sent out every month but need to be in a specific sequence and depend on the customer's subscription type. I want to generate an output file for the customer when they place an order with the products for the complete duration of their subscription so I can track where they are and how many orders are left in the future.I am creating an automation where the trigger is 'when a record is created' in the Orders table. Then, I use 'Find Records' which searches for records in another table (product table which lists each product delivered every month) depending on the condition where subscription equals subscription type. Hello.  I'm not a developer but I managed to create a button that when clicked sent a webhook to Make to run a scenario.That process has now broken because of the whole API thing (which I don't understand).  Can anyone tell me how I make the button send the web hook now?  I've created a Personal Access Token but I don't know what to do with it and I'm not even sure that's the right solution.Thanks in advance

Hello!We need help with a script or automation that duplicates an invoice/record from an interface view and opens it in a new window to be edited.We have an "Invoices 2024 Table" that is linked to our "Projects" table and "Invoice Lines 2024" table.Our interface for the Invoices looks like this.I've been able to get some scripts from ChatGPT to duplicate the record and open it in a new window that pass the coding tests, but when I click the button on the interface, nothing happens.Thanks in advance for your help!

I am building out a job board on webflow, and I had a workflow where a user would fill out a form to submit a new job, form data would go to Airtable, then from Airtable back to the Webflow CMS. Does this make any sense? (Using Zapier). Or should I just move the data from the Webflow form directly to the Webflow CMS? Thoughts?

How can I add just one button on a table and that button be able to include an automation?I have an automation and I need to add this automation in a table with a button. Just one button that works for all records in the table, not one button for each record which is what you can normally do.

Hi!I've been looking to see if it's possible to have the JIRA Cloud Extension automatically pull down to a defined table within a base at given intervals rather than to have to manually click the "Pull from Jira" button.Was looking at the automations functions and it didn't seem like it was possible. Any ideas or is manual the only way?

Hi!  Using an automation designed to send and collect wedding rsvps via a form - I customised the automation to use it for our events company.The automation uses a CRM/Contacts table, a RSVP table to collect the new responses, and a form linked to the RSVP table. A personalised link in the CRM/Contacts table is sent to each contact. This link (image attached) is a form prefilled with their name and details, and few empty fields for them to complete. The data entered into the form > feeds into the rsvp table > then updates the CRM/Contacts table records.The problem we're having is invited people are forwarding their personalised links to others for them to attend the event. Inviting new people isn't a problem - the problem is the new person overwrites the existing data/user in the CRM table (unlike a wedding where guests don't invite other guests). I have to manually go, roll back the data, and create a new record for the new person.To circumvent this I created another step t

I have an Automation that triggers when a new pdf has been added via Documint.  It sends an email with the pdf document that has been added as an attachment.  The issue is it is sending all of the attachments in the field and not just the one that has been most recently added. I would like to know how I can send just the last attachment that has been added in the field and ignore the existing ones. 

Hello, I recently created a weekly report using the Extension feature's Page Designer. Now I want to send this report every end of the workweek (Fridays) using automation, but could not see a straightforward way to do so. 😞 I have to manually export the report to PDF, manually attach it to my Gmail and manually send it to stakeholders.Does anyone have a workaround for this?

When creating a custom workflow within Slack - the workflow builder fails.The 'Select a record' action returns the following: "Sorry, there was a problem trying to add your step."Even if I use a SEARCH query such as {Project Name} = 'Adelaide Street' like I would do in Integromat.Is this a slack problem or an Airtable problem?

I am willing to pay for the project if someone is able to show me how/set up the scenario relating to the following...I am trying to create a report from one of my records. The record has multiple fields with multiple linked records I want to display in one document. It's important the the document is also downloaded in word, so edits can be made if needed. I have make.com, zapier accounts.Page designer is able to accomplish the basic design I am looking for ( I have shown a picture below), but I am now wanting to automate this with a checkbox. I understand this can be done in make.com however I do not have experience with JSON (which I believe you need).I am willing to pay for the project is someone is able to show me how/set up the scenario

I have a table from the Strategic Planning base I am synching to a table in the Marketing base.I created an automation to create a record in the Requests table of the Marketing base when a record in the synched table contains certain data.  This is working brilliantly.However, if someone changes a field in the Strategic Planning base (i.e. due date) base, and the date is updated on the synched table in the Marketing base, I want the data to update on the Requests table too.  I cannot seem to configure the update record automation correctly.Help!!! 

Hello!I'm trying to automate my email workflow using Airtable, but I'm encountering a limitation as I use AWS Workmail for my email service. Currently, it appears Airtable only offers built-in integrations with Gmail and Outlook.Is it possible to connect Airtable to AWS Workmail using the IMAP protocol, similar to how it integrates with Microsoft Exchange? This would allow me to automate emails directly from Airtable.I'd greatly appreciate any guidance or workarounds you could offer to establish this connection between Airtable and AWS Workmail.Thank you for your time and assistance.

We have a rather large table that needs to be updated/inserted with a datefield value from another table. This needs to be done only once.Table 1 is about 30K records.Table 2 is about 120 records.Table 1 (that needs to be updated) is linked to Table 2. I'm pretty sure there is a rather simple solution to this conundrum but I can't figure it out.

Hi all,I want to create an automation which creates a new record in Table B (=record B) upon the creation of a record in Table A (= record A).The title of the automatically created record(s) B should be coming from a multi select field in the record A BUT if multiple (n) things are chosen in record A then I want also n records and the titles should contain only one of the selected option.So as an example:I can choose "Red", "Blue" and "Yellow" in record A. The automation then should create 3 records in Table B: One titled "Red" one titled "Blue" one titled "Yellow" and NOT 1 record saying "Red, Blue, Yellow".Is this even possible? 

Hi there! I want to create two tables that create "matches" based on certain criteria's between the two tables. The one is for houses, the other for people who are looking for a certain house. As soon as a match is found, a signal needs to be send to a third party tool that sends the specific house to a person. The script that sends this signal to the other tool is already in place.Whenever a new profile is created or a new house is created/updated, the matching criteria needs to run (we primarly match on price, m2 and location).My initial thoughts are to run three separate automations based on the create/update triggers with a script that searches through the database.Is this the most effective approach or would there be a smarter way?

The script should: For parentTable (defined in config), when a record's value in a field (singleSelect defined in config) matches conditions (defined in config), then it should assign this record as parentRecord, and create a link child-record in a childTable (defined in config) and populate this record's primary field with the value from the parentRecord's primary field. I am having some issues with the config, and wondered if anyone knew how to fetch the options of a field specified in input.config.field so it appears as the options in a input.config.select dropdown list.
