In the last few weeks, we have been experiencing a bug when scheduling posts to Hootsuite. It will schedule to post, however, it duplicated the attached image. We have reset our automation to make sure we didn't have something duplicated as well as recommended our accounts. It is still creating duplicate images in the post. This adds an extra step as we then have to go into each scheduled post and edit them on Hootsuite. Does anyone have a solution?    

I was able to automatically update a record with a “need to start” status when created, but I’d also like it to automatically put today’s date in as well. I’m just not sure what I should be typing in the date field. I tried typing Today, but that didn’t work. I’m going to admit to being a total novice here so please feel free to spell it out to me like I’m five.

Hello, Quick question. I have a field that calculates no. of days before start of a workshop. This is the formula I'm using- DATETIME_DIFF({Start Date/Time}, NOW(),'days'). I now want to create a field that calculates number of days 'after' a workshop. I want to use this for an automation. So for eg: if days after training completion =7, send email. What formula can I use here? I tried using a dateadd formula but I'm getting it wrong. Thank you 🙂

I have an automation that converts input data into MD5 using custom script and the script’s output along with a field from the table is appended to the Google Sheet. All steps work when testing. But when running all at once using ‘rerun’ or through the form (the trigger is when “When a record is created”), all steps work except appending into Google Sheet, with the error "Row Data" could not be converted to a string.. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi everyone,I have what I thought is a pretty straightforward scenario I'm trying to implement, but I can't for the life of me how to implement in practice. We have a Web Team and a Marketing Operations team. Each team has its own base within the same workspace. The people in the wider marketing team submit requests to the Web Team to add resources to the website through a form in the Web Team's base. Once the Web Team has done all they needed to do, the Marketing Operations team needs to somehow get a hold of the record and do their bits and then update the record with some additional information. The views for each team are slightly different and at the moment I have a synced table in each of their bases, but they're not connected. I can't seem to create an automation from a synced table, and the automation in one table can't create or update records in the synced table either. So I'm a bit stumped. Any idea how I could make this work for both teams?

Hi! I am trying to set reminders through the Slack automation when my clients have birthdays. (The day before one of my client's birthday, I get a Slack reminder to send them a gift card). However, because year has to be included in the date, I am not getting the automation to work (for example, my client's birthday was Aug 3, 1990. I can always change the year to 2023 so that the automation works, but then I would have to change it to 2024 for it to work for the following year.) I do not to see a way to omit year in this automation.  No luck from the Airtable support team. Does anyone have any ideas?  

Hello! I created a base automation that sends a Slack message to task assignees the day before their task deadline arrives. When I tested this automation, it fired in the middle of the night (makes sense, since this automation is date-based). Does anyone know of a way to control the time of day that a Slack message fires through a base automation?Thanks for the help!

I cannot figure out what im doing wrong.. I want to update the table "TENANTS" when the record in the table "tenants (this syncs with tenant base)" is updated. I keep getting an error on the last step "Received invalid inputs." .Any help would be appreciated!  

Hey, I want to create an automation where when a new record is created, I want to wait for 90 mins and then proceed to the next step.Is there a way of doing this with script or something else?

Hello,  I am currently building a form. It will be required to be logged in to filled it in. I can see that form says "Your email will be recorded when you submit this form." Is it possible to add this email to data set without user entering it manually?  Or to have a field email which will be auto populated by Airtable based on the logged in user, and will not be editable? Thanks 

I am creating a CRM base and am running into an issue with an automation I created. My base contains (3) tables: OpportunitiesInteractionsTasksThe interactions table has a field that is a Link to the Opportunities table. When an interaction record is created, the user must select the appropriate opportunity to link the interaction record to. I have created an automation that whenever a record is created in the interaction table, a new record is created in the tasks table. This automation works as intended.However, I need to automate linking the newly created task to the opportunity linked in the interaction record. There does not appear to be a way to achieve this through a single automation. I thought what was needed is a secondary automation for updating a record. Greetings,I'm looking to parse specific information from a cigar website and create a record in my Airtable base.  An example of the website is here.  I'd like to extract the name of the cigar (Page Name?), the Description, all of the Specifications (i.e. Manufacturer, Strength, Shape, etc), and an image of the cigar.  And I'd like to do this without having to code and without having to manually highlight objects on the page to extract. I've watched videos that utilize the native AT Web Clipper, as well as a video that uses Data Fetchter + Parsehub.  The AT Web Clipper videos only show how to extract text from the page after highlighting, and the Data Fetcher/Parsehub video only creates more questions than it answers.I'd like to replicate the functionality of food recipe apps like Paprika than can parse data from any recipe

Hello! I'm a new Airtable user so I'm still getting used to the terminology of the platform, so I appreciate your patience.I book travel for a company that hosts 28 events during the year. I have set up my base to reflect the information for each event in one table ("All Events"), the entire roster of staff and their details in another table ("Passengers"), and each event also has it's own table that will show everyone who is booked and their flight details ("City Name/Flights").I would like to add the staff in the "All Events" table, which links to the "Passenger" table (this I figured out). But I also want those profiles of the staff members to populate in their respective "City/Flights" table without having to re-add them. I can't figure out what I need to do to link them to those tables. In the 3rd photo, I had to manually add those names in the "name" column (which are linked to the "passengers" table). I am trying to send an email after a form is submitted, and include clickable links within that email.Say I have field called SITE, if I use the syntax[CLICK HERE] [SITE] where SITE is the embedded field name for the automation it just send an email with"[CLICK HERE] [https://123.com]" Instead of CLICK HEREI tried following the the advice in https://support.airtable.com/docs/using-markdown-in-airtable but whatever combination of brackets I use, I cannot get the links displayed correctly - What am I missing please? 

Hi, The automations implementend in Airtable aren't working anymore. The goal of those automations is to automatically send e-mails via Outlook.First, I received this error message : Airtable's permission to use the configured E-mail Outlook account has been revoked. Hello there!I'm going to use Airtable API to get records and save into mine site. These records will be updated on daily, weekly or even monthly basis inside the Airtable, so using CRON on the server it not best solution. Our idea was to create some trigger URL (maybe WP REST API route) on our site. Is there any reason that Airtable can block this request using "Run a script action" for XMLHttpRequest? Or there is another better way to do this?

I would like to change one character in the URL when 360 Edition is selected which corresponds to the selected Record. I imagine it would be something like if Record I is selected the URL is "360-Edition-Record-I.pdf" if Record II is selected "360-Edition-Record-II.pdf" etc.How can I achieve this?    IF( {Edition} = "360 Edition", "https://www.dropbox.com/.../360-Edition-Record-I.pdf?...dl=1, "https://....." <- URL for when 360 Edition is not selected )    

On September 3rd I received an email that our automation limit had been reached. This is not likely, not in three days, I checked run histories and all is good. The only limit that we exceeded was the 100 external emails a day. This shut off all automations not just emails. Airtable is now unusable for our team.

Hi, When using the Slack actionable messages integration in Airtable automations, I receive the following message in Slack after pressing a button : "You do not have access to this Airtable record, or it has been deleted."I set up the automation to send the validation to a specified user when a new record is created.The user can choose between "Option 1" and "Option 2". They update the same select field having the values "Option 1" and "Option 2" in Airtables.Yet after pressing the button, the update is denied in Slack.I have the Airtable app installed.Any idea ?
