Hello,I am trying to create an automation that will remove a selection from a record, if another selection is present. So as seen in the picture below, if a record has "Waitlist - Event 1" from the "Waitlist" field. It will REMOVE "Event 1" from the "Event(s) Attending" field.1. This is so, once Event 1 has reached registration capacity (100 people for this example), all further registrations will have their form selection removed, replaced with the waitlist selection in the next field.2. This will then send them an automated email informing them they have been waitlisted for whatever events have reached overcap.3. The waitlist events are in their own table and are linked records, the information between event data and event data (waitlist) are 99% identical, with the only difference being the word "waitlist" is added to the name for email automation and identification purposes.

Hello Airtable communityI've been diligently working on a time-tracking solution in Airtable for a nonprofit organization. Inspired by a YouTube video from Dan Lehman, I aimed to craft a system where volunteers could easily log their hours during a program. The base setup was straightforward, but I've hit a roadblock when integrating custom buttons within the Airtable Interface.Base Setup:Table: "Time Logs".Fields: Volunteer full name, VITA site (with options: El pueblo and Quincie), Certifications (with options: Basica and Advanced), Time In, Time Out, and Duration.Functionality:I implemented two button fields:"Start Time Tracking": Populates the "Time In" field with the current time."End Time Tracking": Populates the "Time Out" field and calculates the duration.Both buttons are linked to custom scripts to automate the time-tracking process.

Hello everyone - and Merry Christmas! So I am playing around with a table that contains several Records with dates in the future (new Records are being added from time to time). The Records will be made by colleagues in one department and then taken care of in another department. Right now I've made an Automation that sends an email to people from the other department with all the info they need from the specific Record so that they can complete the task straight from their inbox. However: I want to be sure that they actually do it; or in other words: I want to be sure that Records aren't forgotten. Is there a nice way to accomplish this? I thought of adding a Button to the email so that when my colleague in the other department finished the task, they could click on that Button and it will be registred in Airtable on the specific Record; however I don't see that's an option. I hope to find a solution in here! 

I'm building out the Airtable to Google Calendar Automation (see this article)It is important for us to hide the guest list so invitees cannot see other people invited or their contact information. There is not a setting inside Airtable automations that handles guest list or guest permissions from as far as I can see.The Google Calendar account that we are using to send out these invites has guest list and guest permissions DISABLED by default. If I create a new Google Calendar invite inside Google Calendar itself, they are disabled. Works as expected and respects the defaults.However, when I use Airtable to create Google Calendar invites, it is ignoring this setting in my Google Calendar account and creating invites that ALLOW people to view the guest list.Any ideas?

We have built an automation that syncs data from our CRM with Airtable. Each insert/update/delete in the CRM post a message to a webhook created from an Automation. This works perfectly fine for single transactions in the CRM but for a bulk update or an import in the CRM of e.g. 500 records it only processes a limited number of records (e.g. 168 out of 800). Is there a limitation in the number of instances of a script that can run in parallel? And if so, is there a way in Airtable to work around this as I have no idea to buffer the webhooks coming in.

I want to start with the important fact that I do not know javascript so I need to be able to do this within the automations manager in Airtable. I have a simple base that has contacts with certain categories. I want Airtable to email me once a week with the names of any contacts still in that category.For example, John Smith and Wade Wilson might have "needs follow up" in the Status field. I would like Airtable to email me once a week to list out the people in "needs follow up" under Status. It can be an email that just lists their names. I have read the forums here and googled and I cant' figure out how to do that. 

I'd like to get a slack message whenever an automation run fails, but I don't see any native functionality for this. Has anyone found a workaround to get this done? Thanks!

Hi Airtable Community!I want to be able to send an email if 7 days has passed since they last received an email.I have set a date field in my database to be populated with today's date when an email is sent from my automations.I now want to create another field that includes a "1" if today's date is greater than 7 days, or "0" if not.I can then trigger future emails if a "1" is present in the field.I'm nearly there with this formula (see attached).IF(TODAY()-{Last Contact Date}>7,"1","0") Does anyone know what I'm missing please?Thanks,Gavin

Hey all, so I'm working on creating a base that will be used to track multiple event registrations with a form that has option for the registrar to identify which event(s) they are attending. Once the form is submitted, automations will assign them to the event they said they would attend via. a check in grid.Currently, I have the email automation to send confirmation emails based off what they said they will attend, but I realized if someone plans to attend all five events, they will get a confirmation email for each event, that's potentially 5 different emails which isn't the most ideal.I'd like to concatenate the email automation, that will be based off the events they select. i.e., if they plan to attend Event 1, 3, and 5. A single email will be distributed, confirming they signed up for 1, 3 and 5—instead of 3 different emails for each event.I read around that this might involve creating a javascript but was hoping there is another w

Hello,I'm having an issue with tasks. I have an automation adding a list of tasks from a 'tasks' template, which is triggered each time a new record is created.However, when I check off a task in record A, it also checks off the same task in record B, and in any subsequent records created. How can I stop this from happening - allowing me to check off each task individually per record, without affecting the other records?Thanks

Hello! I use Airtable for organizing my blog. Once arthile are ready, Airtable send an email to Wordpress (postie amazing plugin! ) for creating the next post.I woul dlike to automate the posting time. On my blog, I have 8 time slot per day, monday to Friday, so in total 40 new post per week.I would like that once I select a checkbox, an automation insert the publication data in the "pubblication Date" field according to the next available slot.I have tried creating a table with the available calendar (all the available time for the different time of the week) and a stack that increase by one, every time I select the checkbox, but unfortunatly I was not able to proceed further with automation.Does anybody have any idea on how to solve the problem with an easy and effetive solution (I think to use an automation is the right approach, but my coding capacity are almsot zero..)Thank you very much in advance to anybody would give me a suggestion on how

I"m not sure if this is possible. I have a table EndOfMonthReports, which has a link to a list of ClientExpenses. I would like to send an email with the report, and attach ALL the pdfs of each client expense, to the email.  Also currently, the ClientExpense table has a field AttachmentPdf, and another one GoogleDriveLink.  The Pdf would include the actual file as an attachment, while the GoogleDriveLink, as it name implies - has a link to google drive.Ideally, the automation would attach all the EndofMonthReport > LinkedClientExpenses.AttachmentPdfs to the email, and also download all the GoogleDriveLinks and attach to the email as well.  Is this somehow possible in Airtable? Or maybe via Make?

Hi. I am trying to use Make to automatically update record links, based on a generated primary key.  I am mainly using this because I am hitting the 50k limit of the Pro plan limit, and Make has no limitations on amount of tasks / operations.I have a field called LinksNeedUpdate, which when the value is 1, I want it to be able to set the value of 'Link to another record', to the value of a formula field.  I have the below fieldsLinksNeedUpdate: Simple formula field, which returns 1 when the values of CleanerMonthlyInvoiceIdGenerated and CleanerMonthlyInvoiceLink  do not match.CleanerMonthlyInvoiceIdGenerated: This generated the ID of the invoice. I am trying to map this formula field into a date field in an automation. However, the automation cannot display the date, and I cannot add DATETIME_PARSE to this IF formula. How do I automate adding time to a date field?P.S. I cannot just use a lookup field, because I have tasks being created from other tables and they all use the same Due Date field, which is tied to further automation down stream.

Hello!I have an automation set up that when a record enters a view, a script is run to delete the record. Almost every time it runs it throws some failure notices and I get multiple notifications from Airtable. But, it seems to work though. All records are deleted from the view when it runs. Usually there are only 20ish records that enter the view at a single time. And if I watch the view the records will disappear usually in under 10 seconds. They input information, two pieces of info being the CPO and SKU.I have a table synced to the base that contains all order and product information (tab/table Tracker).When a form is submitted, I'd like for Airtable to automatically look at the SKU and CPO that was submitted in 'Damages Info" table, find the line item in the synced "Tracker" table with the same SKU and CPO, and then auto populate several fields in the "Damages Info" table with the info from the "Tracker" line item.Is that possible? I have a field called ID, and it's an autonumber field.  I cannot get it to display in my email.  I've tried creating a formula field with it, too, with some prepended text and tried adding &"", too, which was suggested somewhere.  I can add the Airtable record ID with no problem and other formula fields and have them included in the text of the email.  But anything I do with my ID field will not show up in the email.  The test data does have an ID in the ID field and a value in the ID Text formula field.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone,I am experiencing a problem with my automation that connects a Google Sheets document to an Airtable master table, using the Airtable record ID as the primary key. Typically, this setup functions correctly around 70% of the time. However, occasionally, the automation fails, presenting an error message indicating that it has received "invalid inputs".Upon investigating these errors, I've noticed that the record ID associated with the failure is valid, as I'm able to manually copy it and locate the corresponding record in the Airtable master table. This leads me to believe that the issue may not be with the IDs themselves.I'm unsure about what might be causing these intermittent failures and would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions that could help me troubleshoot and resolve this issue.Thank you in advance for your help!

I have an automation that won’t turn on despite working correctly the last few days. It’s set to create a record when a row is added to a google sheet. Both the trigger and action pass their test, yet the automation won’t turn on. What could I possibly be missing?

Hello,I try to import and upset data from BigQuery to an airtable table.I use Skyvia or Make and the first import works fine....My problem is the Upsert case !When I run a new import, the record are duplicated and not updated.First, is there a method to compare the two base and write only the new record in airtable?Second, is there a method to compare the two base and update in airtable only the modified record from bigquery ? May be do i have to script that in an automation ?Thanks for your help !
