Hi,I have two tables:The first one is to manage people who fill in forms and then I want to send them an email with the appropriate PDF training. When they fill in forms they get different "roles" such as Prospect ticket as you can see. It is linked to my second table with the columns programmes and pdf.My second table (programmes) contains the pdf files I want to send themWhat i would like to do is that when on my first table they are for example prospect ticket, they get THE programmes and the pdf associated with the program using an automation. So for example: For Prospect ticket I want ticket and the pdf associated (as it is in the picture), prospect boost get boost and the pdf....I have been trying for a long time this afternoon and undestood that i need to use the find fonction. Nevertheless, I can't get it to work. The goal is to manage to make change the column programmes ( which makes the pdf change automatically) into the programme associated in the other table

I want to create a script that will automatically open links inside of a specified field, search for an element inside of the links ex. another url, and perform an action based on the existence of the element or lack thereof. I want the script to be activated every time that field has another link added to it as I have an automation continuously adding more data to the table and I want the script to keep up. If anybody has any tips on how to create this script it would be greatly appreciated. I got a script from eden ai but I don't know how to code and don't really understand it. I have created an automation with two conditions.The trigger has three conditions.The first conditional action has two more conditions.The second conditional action has two other conditions.Both conditional actions are to send an email, however neither action is generating an email after running for over a week.You can see in the attached screenshot that when I run a test on the first action, there is an error that reads: "The expected group of conditional actions was not selected after evaluating the conditions."Also, further down on the test page, it says the output failed, but it does not indicate why it failed.I'd like some help figuring out why the first action is failing, and why neither action is sending the expected email.  I can only assume that they are related.UPDATE: I believe I figured out the reason why the emails are not sending — the Date fields need to be part of the trigger rather than part of the action — but I don't see any way to add conditional logic (i.e. if

Hello, I'm trying to formulate a triggered response, based off the fields value.For invoicing, I want it to send out an email if the record's field value is "Invoiced". I currently have 3 options for this field: Not Invoiced, Paid & Invoiced. IF the operator selects "Invoice" from the drop down of that record - it should automatically send an email to that contact. I have a field in that record as "Billing Contact" and it links to the customers DB table. I also have the PDF attached to this record as an extension for the customer to see once emailed. Any way I'm able to go about formulating a triggered response in automations?Thanks

I want to send an automated email that includes a formula field/token (it is called "6-month historical average"), formatted to 0.1 decimal place (this formula calculates an avg of the numeric values in 6 other fields, all of which are to 0.1 decimal place).Although the "6-month historical average" field is formatted to 0.1 decimal place, when I test the automation, this value always appears with a long string of decimal places e.g. instead of 4.6 it will show as 4.6437449559. Why is this happening?! I want the historical average to show with only 0.1 decimal place.  Thanks for your advice!

Hello everyone,I would like to run an automation to keep track of the previous values of a cell so that I can see how inventory is being withdrawn from the database and have a correct running tally of inventory items.Currently my airtable is set up like this.The quantity removed field is constantly updated as product is removed. I would like to have the sum or some record of all the values ever written into this field in the previously removed field. I have tried formulas but I keep running into circular references. Therefore I am trying to create an automation which will add the new the new value entered to the quantity removed field to the previously removed field value.For example: on the first day Quantity removed is entered from softr and now has the value 15 for a particular product. Therefore previously removed should be 15. On the second day another entry is made to the Quantity removed (value 20). Now the previously removed value should be 35.This must all happen to the s

The automation needs to look a single select field and based on what it is set to update another single select field.The automation works when the trigger is update or create, but the time interval trigger is eluding me.The automation is set to run every 15 minutes, and it looks for specific records. Hi there. I have a event table full of info for scheduling a bunch of different types of "events."One of the pieces of data is the frequency these events need to occur in weeks. So some happen every week, some happen every 2, some every 4 weeks, etc.In a planning table, that assigns specific information to each instance of the event (primarily location), there is look up fields for the event table info, and look up field to a location table. Since all the events have different frequencies, I would like to automate the creating of the next events somewhat. Is that possible? So if I create "Event 1" assigned to "location 1" on the 1st of July 2023, and "event 1" repeats every week, can I have it automatically create "event 2" on 8th of July 2023? This could ideally be handled 2 ways - a field that has a "no more events after this date" info (so that it doesn't create infinite records), or the Planning Table is grouped by "event" and whenever I click the "new reco

How can I send each email individually?

I am currently using the "when a record is updated" trigger paired with 10 separate condition groups, each with its own "update record" action to change the status of records that meet specific criteria. The problem is that it relies on the record to be updated in order to trigger. I'd like to do this same thing using the "at a scheduled time" trigger so I can run this automation daily whether a record was updated or not. I've tried using "find records" to get a list of records to update followed by an "update record" action but I get a "received invalid inputs" error.  

I have an automation set up that is supposed to send an email each Monday at 8am letting people know the status of upcoming items that are due and a list of what is needed to complete them. The automation pulls the information from 3 different tables (using a particular view in each one) and inserts it into the email.One of the fields it's supposed to pull is the 'Needed to Complete' field (long text field with rich formatting enabled). The automated email pulls all of the other fields fine, but will not pull in this one. And it's not just that the values are empty - the column isn't showing at all in the email.I've tried retesting a few different times and it still will not pull that field in. Here's what the structure of the automation looks like: Any idea why it won't pull in that one field?

I'm building a base that users can copy, and I notice all my tables, records, fields, and extensions copy over when I create a template of that base. However, I'd like the templated base to include the automations I built, plus the interfaces if possible. (Honestly, the automations are more important.) I've poked around the Community and even asked ChatGPT (which swears this built-in functionality is possible in Airtable, but I can't find it!).I see other topics in the Community related to duplicating bases (and thereby duplicating automations) but this base template will be set up for other users to use as a starting point, and they wouldn't have access to the backend of my Airtable system.Thanks for any guidance!

I have more than 35-40 filter options available. Example: Founder, CEO, CMO, CFO, Manager etc. How can I reuse filters in multiple tables and bases?Currently I have to manually select each of them one by one for each table and base.

If I find them, I send an email with the records. But is there a way to do nothing if I don't find anything that matches the conditions? Will the automation automatically abort if conditions are not met? I don't want to send blank emails. Thank you.

All of our integrations with Microsoft Teams have stopped working. We have an automation to automatically send a message to a Teams Channel when a new person applies to the company (by sending an airtable form). I can connect the Microsoft Teams account, but I can’t select any channels or teams in the automation settings. Anyone else?

There must be a bug in the recent update. Last week I noticed a change in the interface when I attach files. Since then every single email automation with attachments fails to run due to "attachment url disallowed". Everything worked fine for the past few years, no changes have been made to automation. Therefore, they messed up something in the recent update. The automation test runs fine with no errors. So, nothing wrong on my side. Airtable support chat bot offered to clear the cache to solve the issue, which I did. It seemed to work temporarily. However, I have to clear cache each time for the automation to run, which is unacceptable. Also, clearing the cache is not helpful when the email automation with attachments runs from the forms (i.e. someone submits the form and uploads an attachment, which triggers the email automation). It worked perfectly fine for many years. It looks like there have been multiple reports of this issue in the Airtable community forum, but the issue remain

I've seen some posts regarding this same issue, but no recent workable solutions so I'm posting again. This automation hasn't run for a few weeks (since June 😎 and no changes were made but it's no longer working. The step failing is sending an email. I get a message: "An attachment url is disallowed". The entire automation goes like this:1. When X form is submitted (including Z attachment)2. Find record (where record ID matches record ID)3. Send an email to Y email address with Z attachment (from X form submission). Hi,I have two tables:A table with 'Registrations', 'Courses' and a table with 'Sessions'.If a registration (for a course) is being added, After pressing a inline button, I want to prefill the field 'sessions' with the sessions from the sessions table where the  'Course' field matches the 'Course' field of the new Registration. It happens sometimes that people choose afterwards other sessions then the preselection of sessions. We have an automation to send an email when a record is not empty.It works well when we set it for the first time in a new record, but when the attachment is deleted to place a new attachment, the automation generates a wrong URL for the new file and it causes a fail when sending the email in the automation.Can anyone help me with the issue as it is causing big trouble to our company workflow?Many thanks,Nacho

I have created an automation to add a record to a table called "Client View" when a checkbox is ticked in the record in the table called "Project Schedule".  I want to control which fields show in the "Client View" record.  But, my first struggle is I can't get almost any of the fields to show!  In each record in the Project Schedule table, there are 13 regular fields, 3 linked fields from another table called "Project Catalog" and 10 lookup fields from those Project Catalog records.  I don't need all of those fields to show in the new record, but I do need information from many of the linked and lookup fields to show as well as the record name and regular fields.Trigger: when a box is checked in a record in Project Schedule...Action: create a new record in Client ViewBut when I select the fields I want to show in the new Client View record, I can only see 3 fields, not all of them.  Am I misunderstanding the purpose of the "Configuration: Action will run..." s
