Hi AT Community,For a project I am doing resesarch on record templates. I was wondering if Airtable has any limitations on how many new records can be created at once when using a task template table to insert new tasks once a project has entered a table with certain column conditions.So, there is a project table where a new record will be created with certain columns. A combination of columns will set of an automation that will trigger the creation of new records in a task table, based on a task template. I currently have 90 tasks related to a certain project label, which need to bo copied from the task template table to the task table (the projects are pretty standardized regarding tasks). Is this possible in Airtable, or are there any limitations on how many records can be created at once through an automation?Looking forward to your reply, thanks in advance.Regards,Arjen

I want an automation to update the linked records. It works when a record only has 1 linked record that the automation should update. But when there is more linked records to update it will not change any of them.   any suggestions?   

My automation has to update the Currency field with the formula field value. The formula field contains a number formatted as currency.When testing automation I receive an error message "Fields" could not be converted to a string that I can not figure out. The updated field is currency (which is basically the number in fact) and the source field is the number as well.I will appreciate any ideas and hints on what's the problem and solution

Hi, I have two use cases to solve: 1. (To simplify) the base is made from experiments (that contain) Sessions (that contain) Observations. Each experiment is matched to multiple codes. I have to create observation in context of session and assign code from experiment sets. 2. A session can contain one or more person. I have to assign a specific person to observation, it will be easier if I can select from persons that are related to the session.I'm quite new in Airtable. Is there a way to solve this two use cases? 

I've created an automation to link the submissions of two forms together based on the email a customer inputs. Presuming that they input the correct email in both forms without typos, it will link them no problem.I've just noticed today that if one email is all lower case and one has an uppercase letter then it won't connect the two even though it's spelt exactly the same.I understand there are formulae that I can use to correct the case, but I want to manage this through the automations. Is there a way to create a find record condition that is "Where *email address* is *email address*" that isn't case sensitive?

I have a base to manage volunteers and volunteer events. There's a Volunteers table to store volunteer information (name, email, phone, etc.). There's an Events table with details about volunteer events. There's a table called Volunteer Signups that shows which volunteers are signed up for which events.I use a form to register new or returning volunteers. The form fills in the details on the Volunteer Signups table. An automation then creates a new record in the Volunteers table if the volunteer's email is not in the system yet. If the email is in the system, a new Volunteers record is not created.Returning volunteers will then have multiple events listed on the Volunteer Signups table, one for each event they have signed up for over time. I want to have a linked record in the Volunteers table that shows only the most recent event they have signed up for. Right now I'm only able to show the first event they signed up for, not any subsequent events. What do I need to ch

Hi Community!I'm setting up an automation to remind users to update their records. So the idea is to send email reminders in 3, 6, 9 and 12 months since the last update.I'm using an automation triggering by a formula field that simply calculates the number of months since the last update was made.All good there!However, some emails are invalid (user likely entered wrongly), so I'd like to avoid trigerring the 6-, 9- and 12-months reminders if the email is invalid.My logic right now works like this:Triggers if months passed = 3 AND email is not checked as invalidChecks email as invalidSends emailUncheck email as invalidThe idea is that if the email fails to send (step 3) then the process stops, step 4 never occurs, and the email invalid is left checked. This works nicely.What doesn't work is if the email is sent! Because step 4 updates the "Invalid email" field, which is also in the trigger,

Hi there - We are setting up automation to find records that meet certain criteria -- either via a view or several 'Find Record' set-ups but the 'Find Records' is stopping at 100 records.  What is the best work around for this?  Thanks! 

Not sure if any of you have received the notification that if you're on the pro plan - your automations will be halved from the aldy restrictive 50,000 per month to 25,000 per month (also No more multisource syncs, API limits of 100,000, halving of attachment storage space to 10gb)? Also the support team seems to be not active since the pricing plan was announced - all my emails get diverted to a cliched auto reply when in the past a warm body will be manning the email and helping to resolve the issue. Isn't it industry practice to pmaintain current users on their own legacy plan? The new pricing and lack of support is making us consider other platforms instead

I have an automation that triggers when a form is filled out. The form collects email addresses and locations from people, putting that info in the signups table, and matches them with captains based on their location; the captains are listed in the captains table and linked to the signups table, with lookup fields in signups for their email address and other key info.The automation sends an email to the new signup connecting them with their captain. Some captains have email addresses, some don't. So the automation looks to see first of all if there is an email address for the captain in the signups table's lookup field. The logic in the automation is: signups: email (from captains) is NOT empty.However, the step is triggered even if the email (from captains) lookup field IS empty. When testing the step, it returns a success and shows the field

I've had so many frustrations with the automation feature that I literally haven't updated my Airtable in MONTHS because of this.... I migrated from GSheets and manually updating GCal to Airtable for it to automate for me and yet I keep getting this error message despite the test running perfectly fine.... If anyone has some insight on how this can be fixed, it would be greatly appreciated... Screenshots attached.. If there is also any way to contact customer support away from a public community forum and beyond the help articles, that would also be super helpful... 

I'm trying to use a script in an automation to filter specific records from a view and then include those records in the next step of the automation (which would be inserting them into an email to send).I can get the script to successfully find and filter the records needed, and it looks like I need to use output.set to export the info back to the automation, but I'm having issues figuring out how to do so.When I run the script below, I'm getting the following error: TypeError: Invalid arguments passed to output.set(key, value): • value[0] should be a JSON-serializable type, not an object Anyone know how to fix what I have for the output.set part or any guidance at all? Hello! I am trying to create an automation that conditionally checks to see if a user is tagged in a text field. Trigger: When a record is updated, watching field called "Internal Notes"(Internal Notes is a Long text field with rich text formatting enabled)Condition: If Internal Notes contains @Honey Bee(Honey Bee is a real user in my base, created for testing. Hi All -I've been battling with this issue for two days.I would like to send an email (via gmail integration) to a user when a record matches a condition.  I've connected everything and almost all of it works except one thing.  I want to include a url for the recipient to click if they need to update any information but it does not populate.That URL is its own field in Airtable.  I use the + and choose the data and see it in the email properties.  However when I preview (or test email) the url is never there.  I have tried different formats for the field (short text, long text, formula and URL) - none of them work.  If I hard code the URL (arbitrarily selecting on from the table), it displays correctly.  I've tried it just as text or as a clickable link using the syntax on the Airtable help pages. I've been able to similarly replicate this using the Twilio text integration (i.e., no url there either.)What am I missing? T

Is there a way to automate delete an image after the date set for that image. Context this is for a social media posting automation using another source (Make.com with airtable). Only have the free airtable account so it will occasionally say there are too many images, it would be nice if they would automatically delete after posting. Thanks

When I click a button to trigger an automation, I want that automation to presend a blank dialog/popup for a user to fill in - the contents of that being used in the automation.e.g. if I have an end user submit a deal for investment and I want to reject that deal - I want the automation to pop up a "Reject reason" dialog which is then used to update the reject reason field.Appreciate any ideas!

Hey team! I keep receiving a "Received invalid inputs" error when running a Slack Action Message automation. It seems that, even though a channel is selected, the automation is just not picking it up (see second screenshot). Have tried switching to different channels to no avail. Any insight here on how to fix?Gratitude.

Help!I can't get the automation below to change the status of our EE to moved out. I keep getting receive invalid inputs. Basically I want it to be when the lease end date is today or past and EE status is not canceled then it will change the EE status to moved out. Thank you!

Hi, I use Airtable to hold all my subscribers data (around 10k and slowly growing) and want to send them a weekly newsletter.I tried Make.com but it is a bit expensive, considering its pricing added to the one of a mailing service, so I was happy to see that Sendgrid had an integration with Airtable. Unfortunately though it won't let me create an account, apparently they don't want my business 🙂 They don't say why, maybe the country (I'm in Italy), I don't know, it just won't even let me open a new account.Does anyone know of alternatives?Thanks

I have records with a %Completed field. I previously created an automation that updates a progress status field based on milestone dates applied to that record. This automation is triggered when the %Completed field is updated and it has been working wonderfully. There are 9 separate conditions with three progress status options. The first condition is shown in the screenshot below. Hello! I'm running into an issue when using "Find Records" with Conditional Logic automations. In past, I thought I could use Conditional Logic automations to update each record in a list of records but now it seems those automations won't run unless the automation is set up as "Run as a List".  However, there's not currently an option to use both Conditional Logic automations and Run the automation through a list.  Is there any other way around this issue other than writing a custom script? I'm glad there are custom script options, but I came to Airtable for the no-code, so I haven't had time to take a course on Javascript yet... 🙂 Any help is appreciated! 

I am trying to track a weekly trend by capturing the $ value in our pipeline at the end of each week and have it populate into another table. I have a "Projects" table, a "Sales Team" table, and a "Reports" table. Projects are assigned (linked) to someone from the "Sales Team" table. I am using the roll-up field in "Sales Team" to roll up the $ amount they have in their pipeline. I also have a Pipeline target field and field that calculates their percent to target. It would be nice to be able to  pull all of the data, but I am mainly focused on getting their Name, their branch/Office Location (Single Select Field), their current pipeline, and their pipeline target into Table two. I planned to set up an automation that is set to trigger every Friday at 4pm that will pull the current data at that given time. I need to make sure when the next week comes around and it triggers again, it doesn't update the records from the precious week but only adds new records with the current dat
