Is there a way to automate delete an image after the date set for that image. Context this is for a social media posting automation using another source (Make.com with airtable). Only have the free airtable account so it will occasionally say there are too many images, it would be nice if they would automatically delete after posting. Thanks

When I click a button to trigger an automation, I want that automation to presend a blank dialog/popup for a user to fill in - the contents of that being used in the automation.e.g. if I have an end user submit a deal for investment and I want to reject that deal - I want the automation to pop up a "Reject reason" dialog which is then used to update the reject reason field.Appreciate any ideas!

Hey team! I keep receiving a "Received invalid inputs" error when running a Slack Action Message automation. It seems that, even though a channel is selected, the automation is just not picking it up (see second screenshot). Have tried switching to different channels to no avail. Any insight here on how to fix?Gratitude.

Help!I can't get the automation below to change the status of our EE to moved out. I keep getting receive invalid inputs. Basically I want it to be when the lease end date is today or past and EE status is not canceled then it will change the EE status to moved out. Thank you!

Hi, I use Airtable to hold all my subscribers data (around 10k and slowly growing) and want to send them a weekly newsletter.I tried Make.com but it is a bit expensive, considering its pricing added to the one of a mailing service, so I was happy to see that Sendgrid had an integration with Airtable. Unfortunately though it won't let me create an account, apparently they don't want my business 🙂 They don't say why, maybe the country (I'm in Italy), I don't know, it just won't even let me open a new account.Does anyone know of alternatives?Thanks

I have records with a %Completed field. I previously created an automation that updates a progress status field based on milestone dates applied to that record. This automation is triggered when the %Completed field is updated and it has been working wonderfully. There are 9 separate conditions with three progress status options. The first condition is shown in the screenshot below. Hello! I'm running into an issue when using "Find Records" with Conditional Logic automations. In past, I thought I could use Conditional Logic automations to update each record in a list of records but now it seems those automations won't run unless the automation is set up as "Run as a List".  However, there's not currently an option to use both Conditional Logic automations and Run the automation through a list.  Is there any other way around this issue other than writing a custom script? I'm glad there are custom script options, but I came to Airtable for the no-code, so I haven't had time to take a course on Javascript yet... 🙂 Any help is appreciated! 

I am trying to track a weekly trend by capturing the $ value in our pipeline at the end of each week and have it populate into another table. I have a "Projects" table, a "Sales Team" table, and a "Reports" table. Projects are assigned (linked) to someone from the "Sales Team" table. I am using the roll-up field in "Sales Team" to roll up the $ amount they have in their pipeline. I also have a Pipeline target field and field that calculates their percent to target. It would be nice to be able to  pull all of the data, but I am mainly focused on getting their Name, their branch/Office Location (Single Select Field), their current pipeline, and their pipeline target into Table two. I planned to set up an automation that is set to trigger every Friday at 4pm that will pull the current data at that given time. I need to make sure when the next week comes around and it triggers again, it doesn't update the records from the precious week but only adds new records with the current dat

Hi all,I've noticed that the spaces disappear from the attachment name somewhere between adding a PDF to Airtable and the email draft that I'm creating by an automation through Zapier. When I add the attachment to Airtable it's called 1-15678fmsc loading docs.pdf but when it appears as the attachment in my Outlook draft it's called 1-15678fmscloadingdocs.pdf. Not a dealbreaker, but slightly annoying. Any ideas?Thanks,Kelsey

Hello,Few years ago I automate AitTable to Wordpress using a Node-RED as a middleware code. The usage seems to me so obvious and basic :IF I update a line in AirTable I trigger an Automation (REST Request)THEN Node-RED will create or update a Wordpress Post managing the attachmentToday I try to figure out how to make it without my code. AirTable put upfront Zapier, so I give it a try... What a hell of complicated  !!! Zapier is so dumbYou have to handle if it's an Update or a CreateYou have to handle the attachementMay by I missunderstand but it confirm to me that Zappier and other automation tools worth nothing if you have to create 3 or 4 zap for a so simple task. Hi, I am trying to redesign an existing base for our team. In current base, we have a list of tasks for each teaching period, with instructions on how to do them (i.e., instruction is recorded in "long text" field; and some tasks also have an "attachment" field where applicable). Most of the tasks are recurring across all 4 teaching period - Sem 1, Int 1, Sem 2, Int 2. - these 4 have been set up as a "Single select" field. For recurring task, I just duplicated the records and change their teaching period in the "Single select" field.  For example: "Send mailmerge to students for application outcomes" is a task that we will do across all 4 teaching periods. Is there a way where I can set up this base and automate that if I updated instruction for the "Send mailmerge to students for application outcomes" of Sem 1, the other three "Send mailmerge to students for application outcomes" tasks of Int 1, Sem 2 and Int 2, will also be updated with the

Hey folks -We've built a workflow using Airtable tables. We filled the tables with some test data to get us going, and then cleaned the table in preparation for using the workflow. However, since deleting the data, testing automation scripts seems to fail. It seems to be pulling a record ID that no longer exists. Is there a way to manually choose what record to test an automation against?

Hi, I have a base where each record in a table represents an exterior item. When the item changes in AirTable, I need that change to be pushed to the exterior database. I want to check the external file for each record every 30 minutes or so to see if the file has changed on the external system.The code that I have implemented to do this is getting bogged down. There seem to simply be a backlog of automations to run. Even though I have turned them off, they are still running some time later and starting new ones seems to take forever.Is there any way to monitor which automations are running and potentially stop them? What about any way of ensuring that only one incarnation of an automation is running at any given time?

I want to know if it’s possible to remove airtable branding, when I send emails to clients directly through the email integration inside airtable. Additionally - I am trying to email a large list of people with their assigned presentation time slot. Their time slot exists in the start and end time columns. Even though I can see start time displayed as 4/17/2021, 5:45pm, when I link that column inside the email, the result is this: 2021-04-17T22:45:00.000Z. I want the timestamp to appear in a readable format, and right now I can’t send all my presenters emails with their time slot without doing it manually. Is there any solution? Thank you, Essie

I am creating a raffle ticket lookup system to enter in sold raffle tickets and then find the ticket winner info once a winner is determined.I start the process by entering a phone number and a starting ticket number along with how many tickets were purchased. This creates an array of every ticket that person purchased in a field.In another table, I have basket 1, then enter the winning ticket number. I created an automation that searches the arrays - when the ticket number is found it updates the record for the persons telephone number. Then a txt message goes out to the winner. This worked great for a few weeks. Now, it updates the winner with every entry - so every phone number from every buyer comes in. 

Hello,I would like to know how to add tokens to the message body for an automated email which are from a different table than the single table linked to the button in the trigger. Is this possible? I have 2 linked tables: POs and line items. I need the automated email to contain a list or grid of the line items and info from the PO table about the supplier and the PO#. Or, is there some way to format the grid in the email so that it doesn't get scrunched up like this? I need the numbers to align with line items exactly.Thanks in advance for any suggestions! 

Hi,I try to set a link within the same command, that created a new record. The createRecordAsync command works as long as I set all other attributes, except the one with a link (the red line). As soon as I add the red part, I get the error message - see screenshot. I am currently able to generate invoices for my tenants by filling in the table and using extensions to populate a pdf. However, I would like to be able to create an invoice like this and then automate a trigger that generates the next invoice a month later for each tenant. Does anyone know if this possible and automations to try? Thanks

We need to take applicants and manually approve them. We intend to do this by using a status dropdown field to kick off automation when changed from 'Pending' to 'Approved'. We are concerned about accidental human error selections triggering the automation. Is it possible to implement any of the following mitigations: Prompt a user, upon input, to confirm their input before committingBuild a pause into the automation, during which changing the status back to 'pending' will abort the automation. 

Can I create an automation (or formula field) to do the following?When a record is created in the "Deals" table,  if the Move-in date of that record is within the range of the start & end dates of a record in the "Payments" table,  link the new Deals record to the particular record in the Payments table.

Hi all. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer here. I have tried with some scripts, but am lost at this stage, and maybe my approach is all wrong.I have a table called 'Projects' which is my primary table. I have two columns in 'Projects' that are linked record type fields. One is called 'Meetings' and it links to a another (child) table where I capture meeting notes, attendees and the date. The other linked record type column in 'Projects' is called 'Tasks' and it is where I record actions for each project row, assign an owner, set a due date, etc.When I am on the 'Projects' tab and click to expand a linked 'Meeting' record that has been created, I can see the fields and input information mentioned. I have also created a button in the 'Meetings' table which shows on the pop-up that says 'Add Task".I am hoping that from clicking this button I can close the expanded 'Meetings' view, and trigger to create create a 'Task' linked record (per the same row I
