I have a “Trade” field that I share between Contacts and companies. The issue I have is when a contact or company does multiple Trades ( ex- demolition and excavation ). I want to be able to use the same list of “Trades” on individual Bids they are submitting on each job, but I don’t know how to carry over just the appropriate Trade label for each bid. I was thinking us setting up a separate table of “Trades”, but not sure exactly how that would work either.

Hi! Is there a way to track completion of forms that are sent to a contact list in one of the tables? We want to send a form to everyone and then see who has or has not completed it yet. Furthermore, some people may need to complete the feedback form multiple times (about a different person/experience each time) so ideally we can see their completion status by the person/experience they are providing feedback on. Any recommendations? Thank you!

Is it possible to change what is able to be viewed on a card as the card moves through different phases of the pipeline in Kan ban view? For example, if my stage is ‘Intake’ only a few fields are displayed, but when the card moves to ‘Due Diligence’ more fields are automatically displayed.

These 2 options should be part of the basic design. And no, the Dedupe block is nice nut is not what is missing here. Simple basic option in every database. Please add this.

I’m setting up a dashboard for a travel agent with 5k+ carried out in 3 different currencies. The set-up I have right now works, but I’m wondering if anyone can suggest improvements or more enhanced approaches to this case. In the main table I’m extracting the ‘day’, ‘month’ and ‘year’ from the transaction date with formulas, then I get the user to link each ‘day’, ‘month’ and ‘year’ to the relevant Day, Month and Year tables where I can summarize the data accordingly. This is working fine but if you can think of a more elegant way to do it, I’d love to hear. The main issue I’m facing is that: I also need to convert transactions to a unique currency, so I prepared a different table with FX daily values - which I link to the main table (where all transactions are recorded) to pull the relevant exchange rate. Project Summary: We need a system of managing, requesting, and distributing resources to students for the 20-21 school year. We are starting by creating a “Drive-Thru Library” A book catalog will be created using QR codes taped to the back of each book- I am hoping to use airtable to start with this inventory. I need for families to be able to scroll through the catalog of available books created with the QR codes and easily make a request - is that possible through airtable? Hi I’m really confused about lookup fields and assumed they worked in a similar way to vlookup in excel and google sheets. I have two tables:- Orders orderid order name price productid sku Products productid productname sku The Orders sku field needs updating with the sku field from the Products table. I currently work in an office setting where we have supplies in multiple locations throughout the building. I have built an excel database to manage it all and I have been trying to figure out if it’s something that I could do in Airtable instead. I watched various tutorials, how to’s, and looked through what information I could find and unfortunately none of seems to help me. I have 12 different locations in which various supplies are stored. People within the office have access to those locations and can take supplies to use whenever they need to. What I have to do once a week is go through and count what is at each location, and also add or remove items to the locations to redistribute the supplies as needed. What I need to have an ability to add the weekly counts of each item at each location, so that it updates a master list on-hand total which can be flagged so that when it reaches a certain amount the office manager knows to reorder it. Is it possible to display a different field than table’s primary field in the Calendar View?

Hello Everyone. I am new to Airtable and so far i’m loving it. I work at a law firm and we are creating a database that shows the settlement amount for cases for our attorneys as reference. I have 2 columns that I want to work in tandem. One column is designed Surgeries, for the amount of surgeries that person involved in the case had. The next column is Injuries. This shows which body parts were injured during the accident. I have color coded the Surgeries section. Let’s say if someone had 4 surgeries, that number would appear in orange. Can I then, in the following injuries column, have all 4 of the injuries appear in the same color to denote, each one of these body parts were surgically operated on? Also, if someone had 1 surgery but 3 body parts were injured, can I somehow color in just the body part that was operated on to match the color designed for 1 surgery? I have an attachments column in Table A with a bunch of photos for each record. Table B has records that link back to Table A – and actually there are probably 2 or 3 records on Table B linking back to each record on Table A. Is it possible to have a column in Table B that shows just selected attachments from the linked record’s attachments column in Table A? So, like, if on record in Table A has 10 photos in the Attachments column, then each record in Table B that links to that record could show one or two of those photos? Thanks for the help!

Hello !, I am trying to make a database for my store, I have 3 tabs created as “customers”, “products” and “orders”. The problem is that if someone buys 6 of the same product from me, I must create 6 records of the same product. I would like to be able to select the product and its quantity. then be able to get the total order. I would greatly appreciate your help!

Hey, I have a strange problem, I’ll point out that I already have several bases and everything works as it should. I created a new one and the problem is that I have almost 300 rows, there are about 10, I cannot read the data in the application where the remaining 290 have no problem, in addition, I have 4 rows where I cannot update them, has someone had this problem?

First time poster. Airtable sound and seems like a great tool, however I find it a bit complicate to navigate and create jobs/task/relations… in it. After spending some time to play around with already made templates (and trying to understand the complexity of all the links and relations), going and reading help/support pages I’ve ended up here. So, before I comit my time with Airtable, I would like someone to point me the right direction and just simply to tell me “No, it cannot be done with Airtable”. I need to create a “Planning a task/job”. Its text-based list, where you might have 10 or 100 individual steps (sentences) where you select only the ones you need for said task. Then you select/pick required tools, safety equipment… Once you select them all (in a correct order) you can create a printable list. Another option I can think of is to use a Kanban View, where you drag and drop all “Steps”, “Tools”, “PPE”… from a General list to individual

We are mentoring a program of teams and wanted to take notes after the meetings with each teams just to track progress and such. Right now, I have a CRM setup using a separate notes table and linking the notes records. This is helpful for tracking when notes are taken, but the biggest problem is that when someone wants to open up the record for the meeting, they can’t easily visualize all the previous notes (since they just appear as linked records vs actual text). So even though you can take notes in a clean way, you can’t visualize them quickly and easily. Any recommendations on ways to set this up?

How can I keep my numbers field from rounding? This seems somewhat simple, but I’ve searched and found nothing. I’m in publishing and trying to add page counts. My numbers field keeps updating 1.75 to 1.8 and I don’t know why. Even if I fix the decimal view, it will do 1.8 or 1.80 or 1.800 - not 1.75. I have done it with simple text but then I lose my sum feature. Any help is appreciated!

I’m looking for some help in how to set this up properly. My main table has the 1st column that is an App. Table 1: App1 App2 App3 I’d like to to have another table where the main 1st column is directly linked and the same as on Table 1. App1 App2 App3 without just copying and pasting them over. Let’s say Diane went to the jobsite and met John, who was working for Pink Lightning Construction. She also met Barbara and Francine who were working for Bedrock Concrete.
