Hi !I struggle to import data from a bigquery table to another table in Airtable.My connections are fine, but I can’t manage to map the field between bigquery and airtable in Make. Any tutorial or idea ?I just want to import or upsert the data from bigquery to airtable. The fields are the same and ready in airtable.I've tried Skyvia but it make several errors when upserting...Thanks !

Hi,  I'm having trouble understanding how to do what I want to do.I want to create a campaign. Not necessarily send emails from Airtable but structure and track the progress of a campaign.I'm trying to make a "Campaigns" table where each record is a campaign.One of the fields in the "campaign" record is "contacts" where I attach the contacts I want to exchange with.I want to track for each contact whether they've been contacted, by what means, whether they've replied, and notes on these interactions.It looks like a list display, but I can only create levels above each campaign record & not below (see the screenshot below).I'd like to have above the campaign record and below each contact with fields.I can do this architecture in the contact table but in this case the "campaign" is no longer a record in itself but only a field. Which is not desirable either.I suppose the solution should be obvious but I

Hi.  For the past 1 - 3 days, I've been experiencing immense slowdowns using the web UI interface of Airtable, when loading tables, changing formulas, doing any updates whatsoever.  This used to work pretty fast up till now. As far as I know, nothing drastic has changed from my base size, or design.The Web UI takes ages to load irrespective of table size, I have tables of less than 200 records which take a very long time, and also others of 10,000 records. Tools integrating with Airtable, like Make and some other tools, still work pretty fast and get good response rates.I have no idea where to start to troubleshoot such performance issues, or how to go about this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,I'm looking to secure that some fields are filled out before a user can check a "Save" checkbox on an interface page, since there is no actual "Submit" button we can use. I have gathered from previous answers that there are no native ways to do this in Airtable.To be sure I'm asking again if somebody has come up with something for this?Alternatively, has anybody had any experience with the new DataGuard extension? They claim to be able to do this, but the public info is relatively brief and I would appreciate hearing of any real life experiences. I am trying to find a better way of building out our schedule across the entire portfolio.Current setup:Projects tableTask TableFinancials TableCurrently the schedule only assumes the task lead times to do a workback for planning along with a workforward schedule that adjusts forecasted delivery based on actual stage gate progress.Separately we manage finances and track costs and approvals, along with payments, however all of these are linked to the projects. When we hit our budget for the month in our portfolio spend, we end up delaying tasks and pausing development.So what i would like to do is have the workback schedule anticipate the weekly budget and increase LT for the workback so that we can ensure we are starting projects early enough to schedule in their payments.Is there a way to structure this with automations and formulas to avoid having to do this manually for 1000's of projects? 

Hey guys, I need your help!I have 3 tables -1. Projects2. Items3. TasksIn general - each project has linked items and each item has linked tasks.Because that was the goal, the only place where a specific employee is associated is at the tasks stage.Because each task is linked to an item and each item is linked to a project, I knew that if I associated an employee with a specific task, he would also be associated with the appropriate item and task.The problem - the client now says that he does not want each item to have a task.Now, this creates a problem for me because in such a situation I do not have a task to link to this item and then the employee "does not know" that he is associated with this item because there is no task under it.How do I overcome this?Did I build the entire system incorrectly?Do I need to create an "employee" field that we will have to enter at each stage? Task, item and project?

Details below;1) Buyers need to make single or multi item enquiries to their delivery location.2) Sellers need to be able to make one or more quotes against selected enquiry items.3) Upon approval from both sides the status moves to ordered. 4) Currently I have the inquiry items table linked to a parent table which holds the buyers details. Likewise with the quote items linked to parent table.5) The sellers needs to view the inquiries and choose the selected products to quote price and quantities against. This needs to create a record in the parent table aswell as the quote/order items tableBuyers then need to accept quotes.Sellers then need to approve.Order becomes final

Hi, how are you?I have one table of leads that has the date each lead entered the system.Another table of advertising expenses where I pull yesterday's advertising expenses every day.At the end, I want to make a total of how much a lead costs me each day.I thought about adding a column in the advertising expenses table where I would pull the total of each day's leads and then divide the expense by the number of leads.But - I can't figure out how to do it correctly without running a lot of internal automation.Could it be that I'm missing something? It seems very simple and logical to me that it should be possible to do it quite easily.I would appreciate your help!Thank you very much!

Hi friends, I would appreciate your help with something that I have been stuck on for too long..I have 2 tables -1. Students2. Student ActionsIn "Student Actions" I see all the lessons that the students have completed.In "Students" I see the student's status - both his details and I also want to pull the last lesson he took, the date of the last lesson, etc.I was able to use ROLLUP to pull the date of the last lesson, but no matter what I did and what I tried - I was unable to pull the name of the last lesson he completed.Now it seems like something very simple to me, because I need to pull the name of the lesson whose "Autonumber" is the highest, regardless of the date.I was unable to do this and it is really frustrating.I would really appreciate your help!Thank you very much!

Hi everyone, Following Situation: I have Projects, Reports, and Tasks. Projects are linked to Reports, Report are linked to tasks. Tasks are not directly linked to projects. Now in Projects, I have a Lookup field for Tasks from reports. I really need to filter this lookup field by two checkboxes in Tasks. But unfortunately I can only set filters around Reports: "Only include linked records from the reports table that meet certain conditions..."Is there any way to filter the Tasks directly? Or is there any clever workaround that I am missing? Any help or ideas would be appreciated!Cheers 4

Hi, I have a few tables for different marketing teams, and each team has their own campaigns and dates. Some campaigns have more than one date. I created a master integrated marketing plan where i pull in information from each marketing teams table. The dates end up living across multiple columns in each record, making it impossible to create a timeline view. I've tried formulas, rolling up dates, flattening, but nothing has enabled me to create a timeline view based off one date field the way airtable requires. Any suggestions or workarounds out there?

Hi,Due to rebuilding a lot of our automation to accommodate segment/tag based filtering for e-mail, I need to change my TAG fields. The TAG is a segment or interest area (e.g. nature, sports, food etc), and until now I have used this as linked records from a master TAG table. The automations I built require however the TAG field to be a single select, so I need to transform all of my linked record TAG fields to single selects.If I just change the field from linked record to single select I nicely get the existing values converted into single select values, but it seems all automations where this variable has been used break. There are quite a few automations and it feels both very time consuming and risky to re-build all these by hand.Can you think of another way to "convert" the existing TAG field to the single select type without breaking the automations?Cheers,Björn

Hi! I use airtable for lots of things - but a primary use is data entry for a longitudinal study I'm conducting. Each row is a company I'm observing and the columns are observation dates. There are a series of measurements I do at each observation date (~11). Is there a way to bulk create/copy the eleven columns instead of individually duplicating them for each new timepoint?Perhaps I'm not thinking through the problem in a way that optimizes airtables strengths.To me, wide data is better for this use case than long data. I need the data to be exportable for table creation (the table tools in airtable are too rudimentary compared to excel) so this format makes the most sense to me. I also think new records for each time point is not as easy for people to follow for longitudinal data compared to new columns. I'm building a very basic template of a SignUp system for clients, and I want to build an Airtable-only solution for them that they can use without needing to use Zapier, Fillout, Wufoo, etc.I would like to update the "+" sign in the Airtable form question below so it says something like "+Select Your Session" or to make it a custom image, or something like that. Is there any way to do this through a script, CSS, etc.??? The form looks good overall, but the lone "+" sign really isnt' very user friendly, IMO.TIA,ML 

Hello,I am having trouble syncing records across tables within a single base.Table A has a list of dates and times for appointments.Table B has a list of people who are scheduled for appointments in Table A.Table B, Column "Email Reminder Sent?" is a Checkbox field that indicates whether or not their Email Reminder has been sent.I have "Table B, Email Reminder Sent?" linked so it also shows up as a column in Table A. This way we can see the communications status for each appointment without going to the Table B.The problem is that when I'm in Table A, the Checkbox field is read-only and I'm not able to check/uncheck it. So i can "see" it in Table A, but I have to go to Table B to edit it.I assumed I needed to enable "Two Way Sync" to get around it, but it appears that this feature is intended for syncing betw

IN a 2-Way Sync, what determines if a field is editable or not?The list Airtable offers seems very random, and in some cases is completely empty.Any suggestions to make a field editable?Some of the fields that are missing are simple text or date fields.

The reason of the separation of the variant table is because each product has unique variants names (some of the products are single products without variants)im trying to create a form to add a new order and facing a problem when its comes to add a new a specific product/variant.should I select product and then variant and then quantity? Hi All,I am new to Airtable and I would like to set up a Project Management process based on our annual Strategic Realization (SR) OKRs. Each SR has its own project schedule, in some cases more than one schedule, depending on the KRs and deliverables.For reporting and tracking purposes, we plan to:Track project deliverables and milestones within the SR schedules and using a calendar view.Maintain a roadmap view for Leadership.Generate a report with custom PMO metrics.Use a form that, when completed, populates a weekly status report sent to all stakeholders across all SRs.My question is: In this scenario, should each SR project schedule be its own base that feeds into a single Calendar, Roadmap, PMO Metric Report, etc.?Thank you in advance, and I apologize for the basic nature of my question. 

Wondering if it is possible to run the auto-number column, but conditional on another column. We are setting up a purchase order tracking log, and I would like things to autonumber based on the field for who is doing the ordering. So if Steve goes in to create 3 separate orders, he picks “Steve” from the single-select dropdown field “Ordered By” and then he gets a sequence of auto-numbers. For his 3 orders, he would get 1, 2, and 3 (I would have the key column by a formula that creates a unique ID based on “Ordered By” and the Autonumber, so it would probably be “Steve001”, Steve002", “Steve003”, etc etc). If Dave then goes in and enters an order for himself, what we would like is for the auto-numbering to restart for the new single-select entry “Dave” so that Dave’s first entry would get an autonumber “1” again, and the key field would be “Dave001”. If steve then goes to do another entry, he would get “Steve004”. So far, I am not seeing how to do this (or if it can be

Hi, I have a Contest Definition Table  that is capturing specific dates related to a contest.  I have start and stop dates for about 5-7 different stages of a contest, so Nominations Open, Nominations Close, Voting Opens, Voting Closes, etc. I have a record template set to create a set of tasks in a separate Tasks table for each contest based on those dates. The tasks are linked to the Contest Definition Table, All of that works just fine.  Each task has it's own Start and End date. There are actuals tasks for Open Nominations, and Open voting which is set based on dates designated in the Contest Definition Table. What I am having a hard time figuring out is how to update theTask dates when dates change in the Contest Definition Table. Thanks for any help you can provide.
