Develop Airtable into a TV Production resource scheduling platform. Key needs: Build a database of TV production locations, resources and assets. From an existing primary Airtable database, import/Ingest event data into a the “TV production” database. Once the event data is populated in the production database, kick-off automated functions that have been identified. Design UI for Super-users to conduct resource assignments for the imported events. Specific resource assignment functions have been identified. Design read-only portals or dashboards (possible mobile app) to share schedule with users. It is a mature system, thus the requirements and functional design are clear. I tried adapting the template for “Product Catalog & Ordering” but it breaks if you need for, say, User A to buy multiples of an item. What I need to do is to track orders for multiple people of items (Jersey in Small, Jersey in Medium, Shorts in Medium, Shorts in Large, etc.) and some people may order multiples of a single item – and I need to track and pass along the unit price * number to customer purchase total. Indeed, views provide a very powerful way to scope and optimize access to data. However, they cannot be dynamically altered to achieve what I consider hyper-performant script processes. Here’s an example… Imagine a table (a) with a view and when a record enters that view, search another table (b) that has 45,000 records in it for a single matching key so that a linkage can be established in (a) to (b). I’m not an expert in all manners of Airtable scripting, but I think the only way to do this is to iterate across the 45000 records in table (b) to locate the record ID such that the linkage can be updated in table (a). I am looking to run multiple search scripts in three fields where users will enter a long format answer explaining their project needs. These are populating in a request table that I connected to a form interface. I have second Airtable that lists out my talent at my agency and have created a ‘Keywords’ column that lists out all the different expertise fields and past industries. My goal is to search through the long format answers client input and connect the keywords to the best match talent in my pool. Any one available to take on this project? I want to get only fields in my tables through the rest API. I have tried using https://api.airtable.com/v0/meta/bases/BaseId/tables api given in the https://airtable.com/api/meta documentation but it is giving me NOT_FOUND in response. Is there a way we can get only fields for the token provided through REST API?

Our business has used Airtable to make a database for our direct to consumer manufacturing business. The good news is that our business has grown, the bad is that we are constantly fighting with the 50K record limit. What we are looking for is connecting our Airtable database to something that can handle substantially more records. Basically using Airtable as a “front end” to the larger database. Currently, most of our records are tied up in the bill of materials (BOMs). Most of the BOMs are not currently active (we aren’t currently building that product), however, we need that BOM data to accurately inform our part purchasing. We currently have a workaround using Airtable’s table syncing but that has only bought us some time and is not the long term solution. At the end of the day what we are looking for is a way to use and store far more data than Airtable can handle while keeping Airtable as the place where our employees interact with that data.

Hello, I just made my first Script app writing my own custom code :tada: and wanted to share :blush: Context: I am working with a base that has gone through several iterations of development and am trying to resolve some contradictory data sets. Specifically, for a directory of people who get assigned a “level.” There are five different fields to compare and resolve so as to make a single source of truth for each person. My fiirst step is to identify where there are mismatches across the five fields (a rollup, two lookups, and two single-select fields). My first thought was to use a nested IF() ƒormula, but I found it difficult to construct the matching logic for the fields values and for when any them are without values (i.e. blank). My next thought was to use an array formula to make an ARRAYUNIQUE() out of an ARRAYCOMPACT() values (i.e. remove the blank values, then look for unique values). To my surprise, the Array fu

Hello everyone, I am running a cleaning service, and I want people in the community to request things to be cleaned. I use QR codes to list all active jobs as a read me file for the office community. I have a submission form embedded on the read me where the cleaners can check done all the tasks they’ve cleaned. I also want to add another recordID that has a form URL for people to check jobs they want the cleaning team to come in and clean that night. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
