We are a church diocese (a geographical grouping of churches) overseeing 45 church congregations and about 120 individual ordained clergy personnel and a similar number of individual lay church leaders within the 45 churches. We have created three bases representing the three areas of data management: 1) The Office of the Bishop or Diocese is the top level 2) the second base is Churches where all 45 congregations information is managed and 3) Clergy.where we track the 120+ individual clergy personnel. All of those three bases were created from Excel spreadsheets where we once tracked this information. We need someone who can help us to: Manage the three bases and link data within the bases to eliminate duplication of effort when records are updated. For example, an individual clergy person updates his/her record in the Clergy base, but he/she is also attached to one of the 45 churches in the Church base and he/she may also serve on one of several committees operating in the Diocese

Airtable Community, 2 related projects that we’d like to get help with from an experienced Airtable user. I have two short term rentals-- and this year will be expanding to 6. I use several different platforms – Airbnb, Booking.com, Homeaway, etc. In order to manage all of these, I use a management software called Tokeet, which has APIs with all the major platforms and pulls in my bookings into a centralized calendar and also allows me to send out automated messages to guests. My ideal is to use Airtable to do this…or at least to have the Tokeet API connect with Airtable to bring in the data from that platform. Looking for someone who can help me with this.

I could not figure out why when doing an alphabetical sort, some records were coming in “at the bottom.” For example I’d have A to Z for records 1 to 100 followed by a second A to Z of records 101 to 200. I could see no extra spaces, or anything to indicate why this was happening. At long last I discovered that occasionally CSV imports (mine were exported from Zoho) have a glitch where hidden tabs can tag along. The fix is a wee bit tedious, as you can’t just do a global replace (I did try that!), but it sure beats the alternative of retyping things (which was what I did for a while before getting determined enough to find the answer). Steps: Open exported CSV file in your spreadsheet program. For each column, insert a blank column next to it on the right. In that column, add the formula =CLEAN(A1) [or whatever cell is your first entry]. Use the copy / drag function (copy, format down) to fill the entire second column. Our successful startup nonprofit is using Airtable to track advanced participation and outcomes data and we would like to hire a consultant to coach us to use advanced views, formulas and filtering to “run reports” on our data (tabulating participation filtered to specific activities or date ranges or participant demographics), including offering suggestions for better table/base/field configurations. Ideally we wouldn’t want someone to just create the views/filters for us, but to work with us to create them and teach us how to think more cleverly about how we do things in Airtable. The ideal consultant would be equally skilled at creating advanced formulas, filters and views as well as teaching others how to create them (and communicating why). I am the owner of a creative agency and we are looking to consolidate and streamline our current business management system. Currently, we are using multiple Google Spreadsheets, along with Harvest and Trello (and QBO, but we don’t need to mess with that). Our system works, but it is cumbersome and I know we could be more efficient with how it all works together. I have done a lot of research into Airtable and think it will be a great solution for pulling everything together into a more efficient system for myself and team to use, along with running Zapier (?) to automate how everything works. So, I have been trying to find a way to make weekly recurring tasks, and have figured something that works for me. Basically, just a complicated formula that updates the due date field each week to the same day of the week and time of day. Make a table that will act as a template for new tasks. This Post got me started. Make a date field, with the time, that will set the time you want to be your due date each week. The spreadsheet includes many columns with various variables from each product and several calculations are made based on points & value. Hi, I’m trying to set up Airtable to help manage and organize my laboratory. We are a molecular parasitology research lab. Some of the tasks I’d like to use Airtable for are managing our supplies inventory, orders for new materials, chemical lists, freezer maps, bio-safety compliance documents, etc. Maybe lab results as well, though anything with PHI must be kept on our university’s cloud app. I could really use some help setting this up. I’m currently on the free trial, but I’d like to set up a functioning system before bringing it to the head of my lab for approval (if he approves we will move to one of the paid plans). Is there someone who could help me with set-up? Or, if anybody has any tips/templates for use in managing a lab, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! We are looking for someone who has experience with Airtable databases (and blocks). There are 2 parts to this job: Part 1 - Building the Frame Work Part 2 - Migrating the Data Part 1: It will include building the frame work for: • Calendar System - currently all housed on a google calendar • Ad Unit Inventory - Table of all of our ad units • Client Insertion Order - Table of where each client is in their insertion order (contract) • List of Clients - appx 100 of these (in a CSV file) All the above things will need to be linked together and update together. I have a consulting business where I connect customers with our team of contractors. Each customer can purchase a different service package which may include multiple parts. I already have WooCommerce and Zapier connected to AirTable such that each new order results in a new line being added to AirTable and the relevant information is populated (name, email, order details, etc.). I’m now at the part where I want to automate the process of assigning contractors to customers and tracking their work completion. Been rattling my head for a couple days trying to figure this out but have faced a few issues. Looking to hire a professional that can help us build this functionality using AirTable!

Morning, I am a small business owner. I am looking to create a new base in Airtable concerning our daily petty cash. Would be interested to see if I can connect with an Airtable expert to see if what I want is possible and what would be the costs. I would like to use this base to address the following needs: Use the data entry table as a log which I then import into QB. (We don’t require help with the import as we are currently using Zed Axis). Provide management with visibility to key relationships derived from the data entry table. (Management is on Airtable). Hi All, I need help creating a forecasting tool on Airtable which will tell me when to place re-orders taking into account different lead times from different factories. I have an excel spreadsheet created but I’d like the conditional formulas to be transferred to and work on Airtable, with a good way of summarising the data. Can anyone help with this? Advertiser Perceptions is building a database of the results of numerous survey research projects. We don’t have a database expert on staff and would need consulting to get the project off the ground (at least). We are exploring Airtable as well as other potential solutions.

Is Airtable capable of creating a table-view is this? Basically, I’m trying to track 8 episodes through various stages of my editorial process. I want to record when each of its milestones happens (rough cut, notes received, fine cut, etc etc). But I also want to see the status of every episode at the same time.
