Absolute Beginner here - still struggling to make Airtable do what I want. So here I am - ONE YEAR later after my first post here, and I am not much further forward in my use and comprehension of Airtable.Admittedly, I have not been continuously attempting to learn Airtable in all that time, but the interface really intrigues me and all the examples make it look really easy to master and the fact is - it isn't!  Being a retired database developer, I am not exactly new to the concept!However, I have just spent an hour trying to get a formula in an Airtable base record that gives me what I want - simple - you would think, but no - not for me!All I am trying to do is insert today's date when a status field in the record changes to a certain value.  I've learned that I can use the function today() in a formula field to achieve this. According to the "reference material", today() only returns a date - Not so as far as I can see!  I cannot find any definition description of th

New to Airtable, really want to make it work but it seems that it wouldn't work well as a CRM where there is a record of all e-mails and Whatsapp messages between us and the customer, and the ability to send emails/messages directly from Airtable seamlessly (please correct me if I'm wrong).Therefore I am looking at a second service to handle that. Any recommendations that would work well with Airtable?

I have a date in CurDt and I want to add YrOffset to it and end up with a new date in a date format. YrOffset can be negative, positive or 0. I’m not sure how to do it.

We are working with Google Workspace in our company and because of a domain change, our email addresses changed. Since we are all using "Login via Google", we are not able to login anymore. No other tool had any problem with the domain change, just Airtable. We are a Pro user and I reached out to the support on Tuesday early morning. No answer until now. We are not able to access any of our bases. Any idea what we can do?

I deleted my entire workspace. I am unable to undo because the workspace deletion also took the Trash button.  Desperately needing help. Airtable support is unwilling to help and suggests I reach out to the support community. In the meantime the clock is ticking. The seven day windows to undo the deletion is rapidly closing.

I have one field that I would like to generate from three other ones. First Name, Last Name and Company If there is a first and last name in the directory I would like to display it as the following: Last Name, First Name If there is no person’s name then I would like it to only display the name of the company. I just don’t know how to remove the space and comma. Currently using this: CONCATENATE({Last Name}, ", “, {First Name},” ",Company) I’m thinking I need some sort of IF/THEN statement?? Thanks!

In a lookup field which returns multiple values (a comma separated array of values) the sort order seems random. Is there a way to sort this result alphabetically? Thank you.

Looking for help. We are on a pro plan and currently have a shared workspace, which means everyone in my organisation can access all bases. I’d like to amend this so that we can have private bases as well. Can anyone help?

Hey everyone,We're currently building a "content library" of video clips in AT... And instead of having our editors click a URL that takes them "out" of Airtable... I'd love for them to have a way to just play the video from WITHIN Airtable itself. Is there a way to do this?One thing to mention is that we are using Iconik for our media storage. So the code (or extension) would need to pull from/integrate with Iconik into Airtable. The purpose is just to make things easier/faster for our editors to click and play clips from within Airtable... instead of having to open a new tab every time they want to see a clip. Hope that makes sense! Hi all, newbie here - is there a way to create multiple columns in one go from a list of column title headers I have as a list? I have 60 + columns and have written the Column names down as a list (which can be also as rows in one column) and want to create all the columns in one go rather than one by one as it is time-consuming (all the columns are of the same type - text) . I have a table that collects the likes of my products. Here the corresponding product is created with a linked record. Unfortunately, in the table of products the reciprocal links does not work and I can not retrieve the entry from the other table. Why does it not work? (i have done this many times and it has always worked)

I’m working on a trouble ticket table that keeps track of support for our users. I want to be able to track when a box was checked. So I have a “Followed up” checkbox field and I’d like to track the time from when the record was created to when the box is checked. I’m pretty sure I know how to figure out the difference in time with a formula but I’m having a hard time getting the timestamp of the box being checked. I can see the time in the expanded history view but there’s no way to reference it as far as I can see. Any help or workarounds are appreciated!

Now that we're growing, we're creating some Bases that not everyone should have access to.How do I convert a user from a. I have contact records in my primary tab (we’re using Airtable as a CRM) where the contact’s Full Name is the main record. Then in another tab, we’re logging interactions with the contacts, and have a column that links to the contact record in the primary tab. In our primary tab, we have a column “Follow Up Date” that looks at the interactions in the other tab and grabs the follow up dates from each interaction with that contact (also from the column “Follow Up Date”). Ideally though, we only want it to grab the most recent date. If you see in my below examples, the contact Brian has 2 dates in his follow up column. This is because there are 2 interactions linked to his contact, both of which have a follow up date. However, the only date we need is the June 3rd one, since it’s the most recent. Is there any way to add this as a condition? I’m not seeing it. Thanks! Tab 1 Tab 2

I see a few people have asked this question already, but I don’t see a clear solution in those other threads. I’ve embedded a form on our WordPress site, and added a redirect for when someone completes the form. However, it doesn’t work. It looks like it activates the pop-up blocker on my laptop (which is a default setting on a MacBook Pro I just purchased, so I’m assuming others will have that, too). It reverts back to the form instead of sending people who completed it to my thank-you page. Is there anything else I should try? Thanks! I am sorting alphabetically the Primary Field which is a Single line text. It does not work. I have some data for this Primary Field that are duplicates and when I sort it, it should be right next to each other but it’s not. How can I fix this?

Hi!I'm building RMA system in AT. I'm creating Form outside of my table for manufacturers, but some manufacturers have their own RMA form. So I want to somehow recreate their PDF (use it as a template and add my fields from AT).  Can I create Form by adding existing PDF (or photo) and just add my fields on top?Thanks.
