Hi folks, I know you can prefill dates in forms using URL functions. In this case, I don't need it to happen in a form, but on new record creation. I can use a formula for "today" - but it's uneditable for the small number of instances where it needs to be overridden. It's helpful to have "default values" for number fields, but it seems weird there is no default for date fields. Surely I am missing something obvious?

Here is just one more issue with the disgusting unusable new home page that Airtable is forcing us to use. Before there was a section "Bases Shared With Me" - that was logical, if someone shareswith me but just 1 base not the whole workspace, this base could be placed in any of the Workspaces' sections, so a separate section for them was created - and that was greatNow there is only the list of the shared workspaces and a messy heap of all bases. Now imagine that there are users like me, who have ~10 shared workspaces with ~100 shared bases, while some of them are shared on the workspace level and some are shared on the base levelThere is no way to show the bases that are not in one of the workspace, so if you don't remember the exact name of a base, all you can do is patiently look thru all 100 bases, looking for the one you need.There is not much hope that this will be noticed but at least I give you a chance: please hear your c

I have a table called “Plans” that pulls in lookup values from my “Contracts” table, which is linked. I’ve been able to add the standard fields from Plans to a Page Creator page without an issue. However, when I try to add a lookup field from Plans, it doesn’t work. I can drag the field to the Page Creator, but the box never gets populated. Similarly, If I try placing a linked field on the page, it appears as a black box with its original field name from the Contracts base. See screen shot below. Any suggestions for getting the linked/lookup fields to work in Page Creator?

I have several buttons with URLs that launch webhooks from Make.Everything works great so far, except for that annoying browser tab that opens and I have to close each time.Is there a way to trigger webhooks using a button without it opening the “accepted” tab?Thanks

Hi I have successfully implemented the WebHooks to allow for data from my Email form on my website to import into my AirTable Base Station.However, once the user has submitted the form, they are taken away from my own website and are redirected to an AirTable url "https://hooks.airtable.com/workflows/v1/genericWebhook/"page that displays the following message "{"success":true}"How do I prevent the user from being redirected to the above AirTable URL and remain on my website please?Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello AirTable community - I am very new to AirTable and learning the ropes. I have attempted to get a clear answer on this within the regular knowledgebase but cannot find it.I have a Jira Cloud project, and I am exploring using AirTable with the goal to make it easier for my team to navigate work without needing to deal with Jira's UI. I suspect AirTable could be a better experience for them to check their own work, group work in different ways, and ultimately have the "spreadsheet-like" experience they tend to prefer.To accomplish my use case, I need my team to be able to update their tickets from AirTable. Is there a way to filter records that contain a word or text string without having to create a filter with the text for each field? I realize this can be done with a search, but I would like to have a view with the filter. Ideally with several words or text strings, with an “Any of” option.

Hi,I'm using the Airtable app on Mac. Whenever I try to input a new user in the User Field, the field prompts for a password autofill with my Apple fingerprint and blocks or hinders my input. I've submitted a support request to Airtable with no response and seen other people with similar problems with no solution. Has someone found a solution to this problem? Thanks

Hi all,I am getting very frustrated. for some reason, when I tried to log in to discussion forms it automatically sent me to a sign up page. I couldn't get it back so i figured I would fill it out and see where it went. Suddenly I have a new account and it won't let me log out. Normally I would just shrug this off except that I have an important work that depends on a response in a discussion post I posted on my original account. Can some please help me 1) sign out of my airtable discussion account2) sign back in under my original accountI am beyond aggravated. please someone explain this to me.

I have created a form view where users can input certain data points. These data points are then used in my Airtable base to calculate an output (based on a formula field). What I would like to do is to display this output (result of the calculation) to users, after they submit their input through the form. Can somebody recommend a way to do this? I have explored some of the apps and automations, but I cannot really find any way to achieve this.

Hi all, I’m trying to use Airtable to develop a case management system for a case manager for older adults. I want the case manager facing side to be as simple as possible, while also gathering robust data I can access for reporting to our funder. Here’s where I’m getting hung up: I can’t figure out how to do a 2 tier intake. If someone calls in and only needs referral, we will only collect basic info. If they need case management, we will collect that basic info plus more robust information. I’d like these both to be on the same form since I want to reduce paper intake as much as possible, and we may not know whether they are referral or case management right away, but I’m not seeing a way to do conditional questions that would allow this type of intake. Secondly, when we are doing case management, I’d like to have something where the case manager can open that individual’s “case” with their profile created from the intake, and add case notes at various

I’m wondering about a strategy to help us manage our Airtable base. We have one table (Pets) that now has around 25,000 records from the past 3+ years. As that table is getting rather large, we’d like to come up with a way to keep that table a bit smaller and more nimble - basically, move records that are more than one year old over to a new table (we’ll call that Archived Pets).Guessing that there are a few parts to this strategy….1) Set up the new table (Archived Pets) in our base that will have all of the same fields as the current table (Pets). Any easy way to do that?2) The first move of all the pets that are currently in Pets that are older than one year3) Setting up the automation that would check every day for pets that are older than one year, and then move those records over to the Archived Pets tableAny help on how to do this - or is there a better way?

HiI've seen a few questions regarding workload but I feel they haven't addressed the problem I'm trying to solve.I have multiple tasks within multiple projects I'm running. Each task has an effort in days/hours, a start date and an end date on the timeline.I want to make sure that on average I don't put too many things in parallel. I'm trying to approach this the same way that Monday and ClickUp are approaching this:The effort per day = total effort divided by the number of days between start and end date. So a 1 day task would have all the effort in it. 2 days task would be effort/2, 5 days = effort/5 etc...Now here's the problem I'm facing.I want to make sure, for each day, that the total amount of average effort per day for that day doesn't exceed a preset amount.Let's say I

Hi,I want to send forms to end users, using a link sent via mail.the link contains data that should be uploaded to the form with info relevant to specific users.I created the URL to the form successfully, but when I send the mail, the user receives it as a text and not hyperlink.the link to the form is very long, so I suspect that this is the reason it doesn't become active.Any Ideas on how to approach this issue?ThanksNitai

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Airtable takes the local date settings from your computer for it's default formats. I.e. here in New Zealand, we represent date "DD/MM/YY," where as "MM/DD/YY" seems to be thing in America. Most of the time, Airtable uses the DD/MM/YY format.However, I occasionally run into an issue where writing formulas with dates (e.g. "if this happens before 01/10/2023, then this"). It seems in formula (and I guess perhaps script) functions of airtable, it only interprets american formats. Is there a way to manually override this as an account setting, so I don't have to figure out why my new formula isn't working each time? (It happens infrequently enough that it's usually a ten minute problem to figure out - and isn't very friendly to my colleague who uses airtable far less often but might need to play with a formula I've made).

Hi, is it possible to add customised actions onto the right-click menu on Airtable? For example, one of my columns has email addresses listed. I would love to be able to right click and hit an option like ‘Find on HubSpot’, which would just create the search query URL with the email address in question in a new tab to save me having to copy and paste a lot through the day. Currently it has options for Insert, Expand, etc…

All Gantt views in my base are currently erroring right when I open them and continuing to error if I dismiss or refresh. I have cleared cache and browser data, updated browser, reinstalled chrome and restarted the pc multiple times. It was working perfectly until yesterday afternoon. Has anyone else experienced this or a similar issue? I rely heavily on these Gantt views for my base.

Hey there.... using the latest version of Google Chrome, and for some reason the manual reorder function within an expanded set of records no longer seems to be working for me.  Previously, if I opened up a field and I didn't like the order of the entries presented, I could "grab" them and resort them to my preference.  Now nothing happens when I hold my mouse button down, and the only action I'm able to take is to fully open any particular entry by clicking on it.Is this happening to anyone else?

I’ve been working on a base with multiple tables as well as using some Zapier integration. Without going into too much detail, I want to create records in a table with records from another table, but with some updates. The two most important fields is the “ID” field and the “Events” field. Basically, if a user enters an ID and 5 as the number of “events” into the previous table, another table would automatically update with ID appended with 1-5. So 5 records each appended with numbers 1 through 5. For example: Table 1: ID: 123 Events: 5 Table 2: ID: 123.1 ID: 123.2 ID: 123.3 ID: 123.4 ID: 123.5 (5 Separate records) Is there any way to do this with airtable and zapier? I have tried many different types of zaps and even some scripting but I can’t figure anything out. Thanks!
