I can’t get this field to sort properly. It sorts up to a certain point then seems to give up. I tried deleting/re-creating the sort rule, even manually sorting from the customize menu. I contacted ‘Support’ with this, they did not even respond.

Are there any update plans coming soon for Airtable: for example- being able to create forms from Ipad or mobile devices? I am aware they can be done from desktop-however most of my work is from my ipad and currently no “new form” views can be displayed in the IOS app yet. Just asking for any update plans to improve the IOS versions. Thanx :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi. I have been trying to reach Airtable to upgrade my system from Pro to Enterprise. It has been 3 weeks with no response. Not quite sure what else to do. Maybe I should beg them to take my $$.

There is no text on the field that is called something like “plot”, why is it disappearing? I have already written it three times but after reloading the page the field is again empty. I have already deleted the app and installed it again, but everything is in vain.

How do you make a primary filed unique?

Hello, I’m trying to combine this formula: CONCATENATE(“Week of Mon”," ",DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Job Date},-DATETIME_FORMAT({Job Date},‘e’)+1,‘days’),‘M/D’)) With this one: DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE({Job Date},‘America/Chicago’), ‘DD/MM/YYYY’) but I can’t get the syntax right. I need the timezone stipulation because when a {Job Date} is a Sunday, the Week Of formula is grouping it one week ahead (so, job date of Sunday 3/27 is getting grouped with Week of Monday 3/28 instead of Week of Monday 3/21). Hi all, I’ve setup the Sendgrid app to send automated emails. I’ve linked my sendgrid API and it’s working well. The only thing is, when it sends an email to the recipient, it comes from sender ‘AirTable Automations’ instead of my company name, even though I’ve put my company name into the right fields. Does anyone know how to fix that? Thanks in advance!

I have about 350 questions in a form, and I’d like sets of questions to show up when certain questions are selected. (Think of it like a sandwich customization form. If you select BLT, then you’ll see questions for Extra Bacon? Extra Tomatoes? Extra Lettuce? Mayo? but if you select Italian Hoagie you’ll see Extra Tomatoes? Extra Lettuce? Extra Capiccola? etc.) It’s really annoying to have to add the conditional logic to every question by the drag-and-drop interface. Is there a faster way to do it?

Hi, I have a table with quotations. Each quote have multiple items associated. How can I use page designer to print a the quote for a customer selecting some items. Keep in mind that each item has a unique reference number. Each quote could have several references each quote belongs only to one customer

I am trying to send Google Calendar invites based on Airtable records. Will try and distill to a simplified version: I have a table for Time Slots, and want the following: When “booked”, send a calendar invite When modified, update the calendar invite When un-booked or a booked Time Slot is deleted, delete the calendar invite I’ve looked at a number of ways of doing this: iCal link - doesn’t support inviting folks, or setting a Location Automation - complicated to handle all of those cases, and no ability to delete events in Google Calendar

I use Airtable to track my hours worked. I use two fields for Time Start and Time End. I am currently counting task hours with the formula: (DATETIME_DIFF({Time End},{Time Start},‘minutes’)/60) Sometimes I am working on multiple projects and, for various bookkeeping purposes, it’s appropriate to track both activities simultaneously. For example, Project A will be a record with start time 14:00 and end time 16:00, while Project B will be a record with start time 15:00 and end time 17:00. There is a 1.0 hour overlap. With my current method, the daily sum of hours would be 4.0. However, by actual hours worked is only 3. How can I count actual hours worked? My idea is to count all the hours in the day which a record does not occupy, and then subtract that number from 24. How can I configure Airtable to do this? Thanks

I don’t want collaborators to see my hidden fields or to have option to expand hidden fields. Is that possible? I have multiple personal views for each collaborator, and I don’t want them to see certain fields as they expand the record. Also, I do not want collaborators to see all personal views. I just want em to see view that is assigned to them, because they’ll always have that option “Show everyone’s personal view”.

Hi Everyone, This may be way easier than I realize - but I am running into a bit of a wall on this. Currently I have an Airtable set up with two tables like this: Job Requests and Job Options Basically Job Requests will be jobs requested by clients and be relatively vague by design. I.E. “Graphic of Venus Logo” for each option that I design I create a record under Job options that is then linked with Job Requests, so “Graphic of Venus Logo - A” etc. This also has a “Status” single select field. Basically, once one of the options is selected, I’d like that record to be linked automatically back on the Job Requests table. I am using a Lookup field now, and while it works for giving me a text only answer, I’d prefer it give me a linked record. Is there a way to do this?

Hey guys, I would like to hide whole tables or views from certain collaborators. Also I would like certain collaborators couldn’t see my hidden fields… I mean, why should Read-Only collaborator see my hidden fields? Or why should he see my private view? Why would anyone see someone’s private views unless that collaborator is admin or something like that? I really like Airtable, but I can’t use it more seriously without this feature. It’s completely necessary for my operation, because, for example in my case, my collaborators are my employees, and why would collaborator A know what’s collaborator B doing, or how much is he paid for a certain task. I mean, just basic stuff… Anyway, I would really love to see this in the NEAR future, because this is something that’s missing for sure. Thanks

Hello, I have a question that I wasn’t able to find on the forum: Can I embed an Airtable view on my website in a way that will default to “Desktop Embed Preview” instead of “Mobile Embed Preview” when opened by a Mobile Device Web Browser? I have an online community with a Membership Directory, which is created by a view of my Airtable Membership List with contact information, etc. embedded into this website. The problem is that when a Mobile Device opens an embedded view, the View display in a “Mobile Embed Preview” like shown in the attachment. This is more like Kanban Cards than a Membership Directory where someone can easily view columns, sort, etc. My host program (Kajabi) lets me customize the web view for the page to a “desktop” equivalent, however, the embedded Airtable view is still a “mobile” view. New here! I work with a Continuing Education company in Course Logistics. I have a ‘Course Details’ table that has a column “Instructors” which multi-links to a ‘Course Contacts’ table. I’d like to be able to make a grid view where the instructor’s courses are listed under their name (grouped by instructor). This works great if there is only one instructor for the course, but for the courses that have two instructors it puts those courses listed in a separate group together. Is there a way to get the courses listed under each name separately so they don’t miss seeing any of their upcoming courses due to it being put in a separate group? (see screenshot)

I have 3 “Yes or No” single select fields and 3 email fields. If the answer is yes I want the corresponding email to be added and a comma to separate the emails. Hello All, I have a base set up to track progress on tasks. I have feilds that I manually enter a % complete. I’d like to display on a dashboard the current %complete of the task but also show last weeks %complete and 2weeks ago %complete so that all dashboard viewers can see the progress…??? hope this makes sense. lmk if there is a better way of thinking through this problem. thanks,

My question is: How can I more quickly add data to tables and cut out some manual work? Here’s the specific context. I currently have a document with three tables Students (Database table, one record per student) Classes (Database table, one record per class) Enrollments (Junction table, handling the many-many relationships between students and classes) Currently, the junction table only has three columns (Name, Student, Class) But to add a New Enrollment, it feels very clunky and like there is a lot of manual work. You have to select both the student and the class each time. What If I need to add a lot of students to classes at once? Is there any

Hello! I am trying to create a way to record for my barn which volunteers cleaned which stalls on which day, that I can then view by volunteer to see what days they’ve worked, and yet another view to count how many stalls they’ve worked in a day, week, month, etc. I got created my first table and form for inputting that day’s records, and it’s working great! The first column is “DATE” and the rest of the columns are “Stall 1”, “Stall 2” etc. The cells contain the date in the first column, and then the Volunteer’s names under the Stall columns. I created a second table with volunteer names, but I’m not sure I’m linking properly. Suggestions on how to set up my data so I can create views to see by single day (original table), By volunteer’s # of days works, and also by volunteer’s # of stalls cleaned? This will help immensely for us all to track their hours so they can get the credit they deserve. Thank you so much!!
