Like the attached…can fudge it using a Kanban but can’t visualise the relationships
Wow, I have been using Airtable for years and cannot figure out what I’m missing- probably something extremely obvious. I’m trying to set up two views with opposite information. In one view, I only want the records that are not done, or are not identical to show, so I want two things filtered out: “Done” is unchecked OR “Are the forms identical” is unchecked. On the other view, I want the reverse- records that are done or are identical, so I have the filters as: “Done” is checked OR “Are the forms identical” is checked. However, the first view is only working if I select AND instead of or, even though I am not looking for records with both of these conditions, rather, either of these conditions. What am I missing here? Screenshots: The view showing the records I want to filter out, and the filters I think should do it, having no effect. Same view with the records filtered out, with AND instead of OR. The other view, with the reverse records- using OR.
Hi Team, Soooo, because Airtable doesn’t have a stand alone time field (it really needs one) I need to create a ridiculous bodge… I start with a Date field set to local format lets call it {CommDate} Next I have a bulk standard number field set to integer we’ll call that {Day} The third field uses DATEADD to add {Day} to {CommDate} easy enough, we’ll call that field {StartDate} it’s set in local format with “use same time zone” unchecked cos I’m in Australia. Field 4 is a text field with a time of the day written in it in HH:mm format, lets call that field {Time} Now here’s where it gets tricky… I CONCATENATE {StartDate} & {Time} it spits out an answer which looks like YYYY-MM-DDT00:00:00.000ZHH:mm The YYYY-MM-DD matches what’s in {StartDate} and the HH:mm matches the text in {Time} and I can only assume the T00:00:00.000Z is a representation of the UTC/GMT timezone. Let’s call this field {Date&Time} But here’s where the problem comes in… My next field is a DATETIME_PARSE of {D
Hi! So, I’m using Airtable to organize volunteers and delegate tasks based on their interests. I have a multiple select column called “Interests”, with options such as education, research, communications, and design. I want to organize my data in such a way that I can see everyone interested in education, everyone interested in research, and so on. However, some volunteers marked multiple interests. When I try to group the table by Interests, it creates unique sections for those who marked multiple interests. I’d like to have four discrete sections that include the volunteer in each section they marked. I’ve seen in other forums that I should create a join table, but I have no idea what that is and I need someone to break it down for me. Thanks so much!!
Hi I have an airtable app that I use to tract diecast cars. I want to know if its possible to say query ebay for an item that I have and pull in the price that it recently sold for? I’ve looked around and I’m not sure if its even possible. Maybe an API call to ebay? Thanks Greg
If a person is ON the CRM but their ‘Current Title’ field is empty in the CRM. When they select their name on a dropdown list on the survey, how can I show the current title and company fields ONLY to them and not show to those that have their current title completed on the CRM?

Hello! We’ve come up with a way to use web clipper to pull data from our forum website using css classes, however, we have multiple records we need filled but the clipper only pulls the very first. Is there a way to pull multiple entries if the same class shows up on the page we are clipping from? Thank you.
Hi Community, I love AirTable. However, I’m running into some low-code architecture dilemmas and could really use your help. We are building a web-application to easily work with European regulation. Complying to these regulations, requires filling out a ton of details about a business activity such as the CO2 emissions, gender diversity etc. You can compare our functional requirements to tax tools such as TurboTax. For anyone not familiar with TurboTax, we need to following components: Member portal Users should be able to register, login and have access to user specific, or team specific private content. Data I/O Users need to specify details about business activities such as its CO2 emissions through a smart form in a browser. The complexity of the information is quite high. The smart forms should allow for: Logic, for instance, if the answer to question 3 is “yes”, skip question 4-10. Help. If a user gets stuck, there should be ample help options available. Hi, I’m currently testing the app to see if we can incorporate it into our company. My main issue is the way that data can be formulated in order to display desired visual data in charts. I want to make a visualization of data for Comparison between Anticipated revenue and Actuals revenue, Actuals revenue, per client, per month, and the set goal for the year. I have attached the current base format I am trying to make to reflect the data. Looking forward to the community support, TIA !

The Vision App requires an API Key. The API Key is visible to all collaborators. Google specifies that API Keys should not be exposed in code, as this is a security problem. I attempted to “restrict” the API so that I could at least limit usage to airtable / vision. But I got an error related to OAuth. Am I misunderstanding something about the potential security implications? Why would this app be designed to keep the API exposed? Thanks for any advice!
I’m using page designer to create reference documents for each of the clients who have scheduled visits to my organization to take part in our outreach programming. The page references information from a “Client” table which in turn links to a table called “Group Visits” listing all of the visit dates for clients coming to the organization. The date or dates that a Client will be visiting are shown as a table in the Page Designer Block along with additional data from the “Group Visits” table. Included in the data is a “Status” column which is a single select filed indicating whether the visit is “pending”, “booked”, "cancelled’ or “completed”. I want to be able to filter the linked records so that “Group Visit” entries with statuses of “Completed” or “cancelled” no longer show up in the table on the page designer block. This way, when an existing client makes a new reservation for a visit, their previously “completed” or “cancelled” visits will not show up in the table on the page des
I’d like to program certain fields to perform iterative calculations in Airtable. Does anyone know what coding language is acceptable to program a data field? Or, do I have to run some other application (e.g. google sheets, excel, access, etc.), have that application pull airtable data, and then have it push back that data to Airtable? thanks
Hi friends! I’ve been using the new when webhook received automation trigger and was wondering if there was a way to “silence” the response. Currently, Airtable returns {success: true}, which some sites take issue with – they consider an empty 200 as a success and anything else as an error of some kind to be reported. I noticed that Zapier’s webhook functionality has a checkbox to enable “Silent Mode”, which responds with an empty body. I’m wondering if similar functionality either exists already in Airtable (and I’ve somehow missed it), or if there might be plans to implement something similar. Thanks!
In the kanban view, I don’t see the full text of the content. For example I see :slightly_smiling_face: Danone’s specialized nutrition plant in Poços de Caldas in Brazil, which produces milk formula and medical nutrition products, is the company’s first … When I open the full view I see the whole content: Danone’s specialized nutrition plant in Poços de Caldas in Brazil, which produces milk formula and medical nutrition products, is the company’s first production site in the world to meet its sustainability goals across three environmental areas of carbon, water and waste. Is there a way to see the whole content without the need to enter the full view?
I have been using the CSV import app for quite sometime and have had no issues . But of late I am having issues with import of date fields. The date field when imported shows future dates. I tried various options for formatting the date field , but I still have problems. Since my process is automated, I cannot manually change a text field to a date field . Is this a BUG ? Has any one faced it ? I think there could be work arounds , but this is something like a new issue which I never faced before. Thanks.
My goal is to design a page in page designer and have a PDF version of the result automatically go into an attachment field in AirTable for each record. Users would not use the page designer but just open the attachment to view or print. I have never used the page designer so a detailed step-by-step would be appreciated.
hello community, am new to airtable . i would like to ask on how i can have an api that can be passed different data and retreive only the fields that matches the current data passed. am really stuck. and also suggest on best resources for better understanding of airtable. Thanks
Hello, We’re using Airtable as an ordering system for our work with another company. I currently have an order form built out, that after submitting, auto assigns a driver. I also have an automation set up to send the driver an email with all of the necessary delivery information. But the driver will need to go to a store to pick up the ordered items for the day. Is it possible to build something out in Airtable that can check the ordered items against an inventory sheet, and return the store that has all of the item?. It might also be necessary for me to add in a preferential list based on either the driver’s starting location or the location of his first delivery. Does anyone have any ideas on how this might be possible? I would prefer not to use an outside company’s app to integrate, but if it is the only way you can think of, I am open to hearing it.
I am new to Air Table. I am trying to create a work flow for job applicants. We need two forms, the initial application, and follow-up questions. Once someone submits the follow-up questions I need to somehow link the data to their initial application, automatically. As we receive many applications. I am not sure how to accomplish this look-up, and update. Any suggestions would be super helpful. job
Hello, I am looking for an app to add a communication channel between a user and an external user. For instance, I would like to have a history of communication between our clients and our team for specifics record.
Is it possible to view the map via the mobile app? How else could I access it while on my mobile. It works great on the desktop, but I can’t see any way to make it work on my phone.
Hi - please help, bit confused. I published a base up into the Airtable Universe (and luckily saved the link for it). If I search the Airtable Universe, I can’t find it anywhere. Any idea what’s going on? It’s a LinkedIn SSI Tracker (your Social Selling Index score on LinkedIn). The Universe base can be found here - but you cannot find / search for it via the Airtable Universe page. Any ideas? I’m presuming that nobody else can find / search for this? Here’s the direct link (to prove I’m not going mad :slightly_smiling_face: ). Airtable LinkedIn SSI tracker (Social Selling Index) - Airtable Universe Did you know that LinkedIn gives you a 'score' that determines how popular and visible you are on LinkedIn? It's called the Social Selling Index (SSI). If... It is real… but not searchable…
Did you run in to the same problem? How did you solve it?
