Hi! I have created a sync between two bases in Airtable. In the destination base, I want to create a form view with questions that should become new records in the synced table, but I can’t find the “form view” option. Is it possible to create a form view in a synced table? The new records from the form submissions should only stay in the destination base. Thank you in advance, Clara

Hey all I’m building a small system for delivering food from our street food stall. I’m using JotForm to populate the Airtable base, then Views to organise delivery routes etc. I’d like to display a particular delivery route (View) record by record on someone’s smart phone, so they see a formatted summary (Customer name, address, phone number, order details) as well as (ideally) a checkbox to click when the order has been delivered. And then a button to move to the next record. Is this possible within existing Airtable functionality and blocks? I’ve been looking at Page Designer and Forms, but I can’t see how to do this easily … Any advice is very welcome please! And if you live in London UK, I can sort some free paella for you at some point :winking_face: Thanks

We’re pulling through images into Page Designer that are 2-4MB each. I can Print to PDF these individual rows with no issue - one-at-a-time. But if I try to print (50) rows, this is a 100-200MB file, and when I click “Save to PDF” it takes about 10 minutes before popping up an Airtable error “Failed to Print”… Any ideas how I can get this to work so I can print the 50 rows at a time?

Hey everyone. I’m pulling phone numbers from linked records and they come into the cell like the 777-777-7777, 888-888-8888, 999-999-9999. I’m looking to split those into separate columns as well but for the life of me can’t figure it out. Thanks in advance for everyone’s help.

This means I have a time zone allocated to a single person. I then want to do a calc that shows how many hours they are behind or forward of me at any given time I decide So for instance if I make a calender entry to call them back at 12:52 GMT, and the local time with the user I want to call back is -11 hours it should show 02:52 I have worked out how I can do the calc if I input an actual number - like in this calc DATEADD({Contact Again GMT},-11,‘hours’) This works and shows the correct local time. How can I change the the multi-select options based on whats chosen in a previous multi-selection field. For Example, if I have 2 multiple selection fields: Field 1 for State and Field 2 for City, if I choose New Jersey, only New Jersey cities would then be in field 2

Hey! I have set up an base to keep track of the location of bikes. The bikes are all the same but have different frame numbers. I have made table of different possible locations that is linked to the “input” table. In this input table I gather the next values: autonumber - Frame number - created time - location (from other table) - status (single select, broken or in use) Every time a bike is moved, a record is made with a frame number and the new location. In this way, it’s possible to have multiple records with the same framenumber, but with a different created time and location. If I want to see the current bikes in a specific location I need to filter out unique frame numbers and their status and location based on the latest entry. How do I do this? Thanks! Jeroen

Hello, I have two tables in single Base containing names of different people. For e.g. in table A, I have a column having names of people (120 entries). I also have another table with column having names of people(50 entries). I want to automatically merge all these 170 entries into another table column and this should keep syncing. Any idea how can I achieve probably using formula or integromat?

I am trying to deploy an Airtable App using a simple CICD build pipeline. I need to set the API key using the block cli. Because this is an automated process I need to be able to set the key without any user input. When I try to pass the key to the command (block set-api-key key***********) it still asks me to manually enter the key which causes the process to fail. Is there a away around this?

Problem: After downloading a view as a .csv, some of the content within a lookup column is being replaced with #name-quiz-app Below is the content as it appears within Airtable. After downloading this view as a .csv, below is how it populates. In column C, the content was replaced by #NAME?. Any idea as to why this is happening? This is a huge dealbreaker for our team affecting our decision to purchase Airtable.

Hello kind forum. I hope someone can advise. I need to generate a tabular report for who is due to be paid per diems for the previous week. The report needs to look something like this: Name____________ Number of Days of PD Due J. Smith_______________________7 J. Doe _______________________6 J. Brown_____________________5 That is to say that I need to show the number of days that per diem is due for each person for the previous week. The base has a table of employees. There is also a “Daily Reports” table that the field manager fills out with a ton of information. This table has one record for each day. I would like to add a link-to-record field that is called “Not Due Per Diem Today”, that links to the Employees table. This will allow the manager to indicate the small number of people on his team who are NOT due per diem, rather than indicate the large number of people who ARE due per diem. Hi there. I’m using API to upload my photos from google drive to airtable. When they uploaded, after few second, a green frame remove them. How…! What is green frame! why my photos deleted!

Records disappear then reappear when I re-enter the text part of the variable into the filter of a table view. This disappearing can happen when I re-fresh my browser, or when I go to a different table view and then return. I can both replicate as well as “fix” this behavior: There are three different fields that can be called on in my filter for this table view … Project - linked field to Project table Discipline - lookup field (Discipline field from Project table) Name - Formula field (concatenate formula that includes Project field) I can replicate the odd behavior (of records disappearing then reappearing when I re-enter the text part of the variable into the filter) when either: Filter is set to Discipline contains meeting; OR Filter is set to Name contains meeting. I can “fix” the behavior when: Filter is set to Project contains meeting Behavior has been functioning fine for many months with the filter set to ‘Discipline contains meeting’. Is anyone experiencing odd problems with view controls (filters, sorting, etc.)? They’re suddenly not working correctly in my bases, and none of my records are appearing at all when any filter is applied. Only if a view is unfiltered can I see any records. I’ve recorded a Loom video and sent it to support, but I’m curious if this is isolated to my account, or if it’s something more widespread.

Hey! I need to make a very simple pie chart from a column in a table with checkboxes: piece of the pie is checked, the other piece is not. I can do this with the airtable app, but I would like to show the percentages tull-time (so not only when hoovering like the airtable app). Hi, I am trying to set up information documents for clients in page designer (Summary sheet with address and standardised info) but when I import from fields in the airtable, some of the standardised fields appear with their coloured background. This looks unprofessional as it is obvious that it is an imported field. I am not able to change it in the formatting. Hopefully I am missing something really obvious! - can anyone help?

The Gantt chart is a great tool but it defaults to consider Sat/Sun as weekend days. In this small yet noisy part of the world we observe Fri/Sat weekends. Anyway I can make the Gantt reflect that?

We have a field for Calendar Date. Is there a way to have the day of the week (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) that corresponds to that calendar date autopopulate in another field?

Newbie here. Are attachments/photos linked to the original place when they were attached? i.e. If I have a folder on my hard drive called XXX and that folder contains photos. I attach my photos to my table. Do I need to leave those photos in the folder on my hard drive?

When I apply a filter, it works until I navigate away from the view. Once I come back, the filter has reverted to a messed up version even though my changes to the filter were saved. HELP!

Suddenly this afternoon (Eastern time) the date filtering seems to be malfunctioning. When I remove the filters from my view, i can see my records, but when i try to filter for items dated today or before, it says that all of my records are filtered out of the current view. I have lots of records dated today or before. Anyone else having trouble today who didn’t have trouble yesterday? Anyone at Airtable know when this issue may be fixed?

I pasted several records into a grid, as I have done in the past (nothing has changed that I know of). Now, the grid view no longer shows the text of the Select (dropdown) item for the inserted records (existing records are showing the text). Odd thing is the values are indeed there (and I can see them listed when going into the Customize Field Type option for the Select). The text in the non-Select fields is showing, so it just seems to be something glitchy with the visual for the grid view on Select fields. Again, the text is there (and I can see it if I create formula fields based off those fields). When I try to remove the colors, I just get grey boxes. Any idea why this just started happening? I have tried scrubbing the original data and making sure there is no trailing spaces, etc. and re-pasting it. This is really odd since I have been doing this a lot for several years and have never seen this before. So, any advice on what could be causing it would be greatly appreciated. Tha
